Woodland Animal Pure Linen Curtains, Olive Green Tribal Folk Art Nursery Drapes, Custom Blackout or Light Filtering Panels
Woodland animal pure linen curtains featuring whimsical forest creatures, birds, fish, flowering trees and hand-drawn tribal folk-art motifs across an earthy olive green and warm taupe background.
Made from thick and heavy pure linen, these playful yet sophisticated animal curtains are available as a single curtain panel or as a coordinated pair or set of two. Choose an unlined semi-sheer finish, an organic cotton light-filtering liner for complete visual privacy, or an OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified polycotton blackout liner designed to block light completely through the curtain body.
The print combines the charm of a storybook woodland scene with earthy tribal and folk-art influences. Stylized foxes, owls, fish, birds, long-tailed animals, small deer-like forest creatures, branches, leaves, flowers and abstract landscape markings are scattered across the fabric in an intentionally irregular arrangement.
These woodland curtains are ideal for nurseries, children’s bedrooms, playrooms and reading corners, but the restrained olive, cream, ochre and burgundy color palette also makes them suitable for relaxed living rooms, rustic cabins, cottage interiors, creative studios and nature-inspired guest rooms.
COLOR PALETTE
The fabric has a muted earthy olive green background with warm khaki, mushroom taupe and brownish sage undertones.
The base is not a bright grass green or a cool blue-toned sage. It is a deeper, neutralized olive shade with a softly weathered appearance that coordinates beautifully with natural wood, cream walls and warm neutral furnishings.
The printed motifs include:
Soft ivory
Warm off-white
Natural cream
Muted burgundy
Dusty wine red
Rust orange
Burnt ochre
Soft mustard yellow
Pale yellow-green
Warm beige
Dark brown linework
The ivory and cream animals stand out clearly against the olive background without creating a harsh contrast.
Muted burgundy stitching-style outlines give many of the figures a hand-drawn or hand-sewn appearance. Ochre, rust and mustard flowers provide small touches of warmth, while pale yellow-green details brighten selected animals and leaves.
The overall palette is earthy, warm and gender neutral. It is colorful enough for a nursery or playroom while remaining sophisticated enough to complement an adult living space.
WOODLAND ANIMAL AND TRIBAL FOLK-ART PATTERN
The printed design resembles a whimsical woodland story illustrated in a traditional folk-art style.
The pattern includes a varied collection of stylized forest and nature motifs, such as:
Fox-like woodland animals
Small deer or antelope-inspired creatures
Owls with open wings
Fish with decorative linework
Birds with curved necks and tails
Long-tailed forest creatures
Small animal profiles
Branching trees
Leafy stems
Tiny flowers
Berry-like plants
Triangular hills or abstract landscape shapes
Short stitched ground lines
Wavy water or earth markings
Scattered leaves and buds
The animals are intentionally simplified rather than realistically illustrated. Their shapes have a naïve, handcrafted quality inspired by tribal drawings, folk textiles, children’s storybooks and traditional decorative embroidery.
Many of the animals and trees contain dotted or broken burgundy outlines that imitate hand stitching. This printed detail gives the fabric an artisan-inspired appearance even though the design is printed rather than embroidered.
The woodland creatures face in different directions and appear between trees, flowers and small landscape elements. The varying sizes and orientations keep the pattern playful and prevent it from looking like a rigid commercial repeat.
Some animals are printed in soft ivory with burgundy detailing. Others include pale mustard, yellow-green or cream-colored bodies. Rust and ochre flowers are placed between cream leaves and burgundy berry branches.
The pattern is detailed but not overwhelmingly dense. Areas of the olive background remain visible between the animals and plants, allowing the curtain to retain a calm and balanced appearance.
From across the room, the curtains read as an earthy olive woodland pattern. At closer range, the individual foxes, owls, fish, birds, branches and stitched-style details become more noticeable.
THICK AND HEAVY PURE LINEN FABRIC
These curtains are made from thick, substantial and heavy pure linen rather than thin polyester voile or lightweight linen-look fabric.
The supplied fabric specification is 403 grams per linear metre based on a 54-inch-wide fabric.
A 54-inch fabric width equals approximately 1.3716 metres. Based on this width, the fabric converts to approximately:
294 GSM
This substantial fabric weight gives the curtains a fuller, more structured fall than lightweight sheer linen.
The natural woven texture remains visible beneath the printed design, adding depth and an organic tactile quality to the finished curtains.
Pure linen naturally contains:
Small slubs
Occasional thicker yarns
Tiny knots
Subtle changes in yarn thickness
Slightly irregular woven areas
Minor tonal variations
These are normal characteristics of genuine linen fibers and are not considered defects.
The print follows the natural texture of the linen weave. Fine outlines may therefore appear slightly softened, weathered or irregular when viewed very closely. This effect complements the handmade character of the woodland folk-art pattern.
Although the fabric is thick and substantial, unlined pure linen still allows diffused daylight to pass through its weave. The exact amount of visible light will depend on the strength of the sunlight, curtain fullness and the room’s lighting conditions.
SINGLE CURTAIN OR PAIR OF TWO
These curtains can be purchased as:
One single curtain panel
A pair or set of two curtain panels
The width and height selected from the menu apply to each individual curtain panel.
For example:
If you select one 50-inch-wide curtain, you will receive one curtain measuring 50 inches wide.
If you select a set of two 50-inch-wide curtains, you will receive two separate curtain panels, each measuring 50 inches wide.
A pair of 50-inch-wide curtains therefore provides a combined flat fabric width of 100 inches before gathering.
Please carefully check whether you are ordering a single curtain or a set of two curtains before completing your purchase.
AVAILABLE WIDTHS
50 inches wide per curtain Approximately 127 cm wide per curtain
100 inches wide per curtain Approximately 254 cm wide per curtain
The selected width is the flat finished width of each individual curtain panel before it is gathered or arranged on the curtain rod or track.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT 100-INCH-WIDE CURTAINS
The original pure linen fabric has an approximate usable curtain width of 50 inches.
For this reason, every finished 100-inch-wide curtain will be made by joining two approximately 50-inch sections of fabric.
This construction creates one vertical joining seam near the center of each 100-inch-wide curtain panel.
The fabric sections and woodland pattern will be aligned as carefully as the pattern repeat permits.
Because this is a scattered animal and forest design rather than a simple continuous stripe, perfect alignment of every animal, branch or decorative element across the seam may not always be possible.
Once the curtain is installed and arranged into natural folds, the joining seam is generally barely visible.
The central seam is a necessary construction feature of an extra-wide pure linen curtain and is not considered a manufacturing defect.
When a pair of 100-inch-wide curtains is ordered, each individual 100-inch curtain will contain its own central joining seam.

The custom width and height entered in the order details email must be the finished measurement of each individual curtain, not the combined measurement of the entire pair.
Please clearly state whether your measurements are in inches or centimetres.
For unusually wide curtains, oversized windows or measurements outside the available menu options, please request a custom quotation before ordering.
HOW TO CHOOSE THE CORRECT CURTAIN WIDTH
The listed width is the flat finished width of one curtain before gathering.
For an attractive gathered appearance, the combined flat width of your curtains should be wider than the curtain rod, track or window area being covered.
A total curtain width approximately 1.5 to 2 times the usable width of the rod or track generally provides comfortable fullness.
For example:
For a 70-inch-wide curtain rod, a pair of 50-inch-wide curtains provides 100 inches of combined flat fabric width and creates moderate gathering.
For greater fullness and deeper folds, a larger combined width may be selected.
Curtain fullness affects the appearance of the woodland print.
With gentle gathering, more complete animal figures and larger sections of the pattern remain visible.
With dense gathering, the motifs move in and out of the folds, creating a more layered and textural appearance.
For nurseries and children’s rooms where you want the animals to remain especially visible, moderate fullness is often preferable to extremely dense gathering.
LINING OPTIONS
UNLINED
The unlined option preserves the pure linen in its most natural form.
Without a lining, these curtains function as semi-sheer privacy curtains.
The substantial linen weave softens sunlight while allowing diffused natural light to enter the room.
During daylight hours, unlined curtains provide a useful degree of privacy while maintaining a bright and airy atmosphere.
When direct sunlight shines from behind, the olive background may appear slightly lighter and the woodland animal motifs may appear softly illuminated.
At night, when the room lights are switched on, shadows or silhouettes may be visible from outside.
The precise privacy level will depend on:
The brightness of the indoor lighting
The exterior lighting conditions
The distance between people and the window
The amount of curtain fullness
Whether the room is viewed from close range or a distance
The reverse side of the printed fabric remains visible from the back of an unlined curtain. The print may appear lighter and less saturated on the reverse side.
Unlined curtains are suitable for:
Playrooms
Living rooms
Reading areas
Home offices
Sunrooms
Low-privacy windows
Decorative windows
Rooms where softly filtered daylight is preferred
ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT-FILTERING LINER
The organic cotton liner adds privacy, opacity, body and structure while continuing to allow softly filtered daylight into the room.
With the organic cotton lining, the curtains become completely opaque for enhanced visual privacy.
The liner helps prevent clear indoor silhouettes from being visible through the curtain and covers the reverse side of the printed linen.
It also supports the substantial linen fabric, creating fuller folds and a more structured drape.
The organic cotton liner is light filtering rather than blackout. Natural daylight will still enter the room, but it will be softened and diffused.
This option is ideal for:
Nurseries
Children’s bedrooms
Playrooms
Living rooms
Street-facing windows
Guest bedrooms
Home offices
Reading rooms
Rooms where complete visual privacy is required
Spaces where daylight is still desirable
For a nursery used primarily during the daytime, the organic cotton lining can provide privacy and a calm filtered-light effect without making the room completely dark.
OEKO-TEX CERTIFIED 100% BLACKOUT LINER
The blackout option uses a non-toxic OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified polycotton blackout liner.
Blackout liner composition:
50% cotton
50% polyester
The blackout lining is designed to block incoming light completely through the curtain body.
It creates complete opacity and provides the greatest level of privacy among the three available lining options.
This option is especially suitable for:
Baby nurseries
Toddler bedrooms
Children’s bedrooms
Nap rooms
Primary bedrooms
Guest bedrooms
Media rooms
Light-sensitive sleepers
Shift workers
Windows exposed to strong sunlight
The blackout liner conceals the reverse side of the printed linen and gives the finished curtain a thick, substantial and highly structured appearance.
It is an excellent choice for young children who nap during daylight hours or bedrooms where early morning sunlight needs to be reduced.
Although the blackout material blocks light through the curtain itself, a small amount of light may still enter around the top, sides, center or bottom depending on the installation.
For the darkest possible result:
Install the curtain rod above the window frame.
Extend the rod beyond both sides of the window.
Order sufficient curtain fullness.
Allow the curtains to overlap at the center.
Let the curtains extend below the lower window edge.
Position the panels close to the wall wherever possible.
AVAILABLE HEADING STYLES
HOOKS TOP
The hooks-top heading is compatible with both curtain rods and curtain tracks.
A structured curtain heading tape is sewn across the reverse side of the curtain.
For installation on a track, curtain hooks attach to the track gliders.
For installation on a rod, the hooks attach to separate curtain rings placed on the rod.
This heading is a practical choice for:
Ceiling-mounted tracks
Wall-mounted tracks
Traditional curtain rods with rings
Curtains opened and closed frequently
Floor-to-ceiling installations
Nurseries where smooth daily operation is important
Hooks-top curtains can be arranged into controlled, evenly distributed folds.
BACK TABS
Fabric loops are sewn discreetly onto the reverse side of the curtain heading.
The curtain rod passes through these hidden back tabs, leaving the front of the curtain clean and uninterrupted.
Back tabs create soft, evenly spaced folds and allow the playful animal print to remain the main visual feature.
This heading works especially well in:
Modern nurseries
Boho children’s rooms
Organic modern interiors
Farmhouse rooms
Scandinavian-inspired spaces
Relaxed living rooms
Back-tab curtains may have more friction on the rod than grommet or hooks-top curtains, so they are generally best suited to windows where the panels are not opened and closed continuously.
ROD POCKET
A fabric channel is sewn across the top of the curtain.
The curtain rod slides directly through the pocket, creating a softly gathered and casual appearance.
Rod-pocket curtains are particularly suitable for:
Nurseries
Children’s rooms
Playrooms
Kitchen windows
Decorative side panels
Short curtains
Cafe curtains
Cottage-style interiors
Please make sure the diameter of your curtain rod is compatible with the finished rod-pocket opening.
GROMMETS
Circular grommets are installed across the upper section of the curtain.
The rod passes directly through the grommets, naturally creating broad and evenly spaced folds.
Grommet curtains are easy to install and move smoothly across most curtain rods.
Their clean contemporary appearance provides a simple contrast to the detailed woodland folk-art print.
The exact placement of the upper animals or branches may vary slightly because the fabric must be positioned to accommodate the grommets.

Unless a smaller custom measurement is entered, the curtains will be made according to the standard size selected from the menu.
HOW TO MEASURE FOR CURTAINS
Measure the curtain rod or track rather than measuring only the glass portion of the window.
Whenever possible, install the rod or determine its final position before taking the final measurements.
MEASURING THE WIDTH
Measure the complete usable width of the curtain rod or track.
Do not include decorative finials when measuring a rod.
Multiply the usable rod or track width by approximately 1.5 to 2 depending on your preferred fullness.
Divide the total required fabric width by the number of curtain panels you intend to order.
Example:
Usable rod width: 72 inches
Desired fullness: approximately 1.5 times
Required combined curtain width: approximately 108 inches
Suitable option: Two 50-inch panels provide 100 inches of combined width, while selecting larger custom panels can provide greater fullness.
MEASURING THE HEIGHT
For hooks-top curtains, measure from the intended hook, ring or track-glider hanging point to the desired finished lower edge.
For back-tab and rod-pocket curtains, measure from the position where the top of the curtain will sit to the required lower edge.
For grommet curtains, remember that a small section of fabric normally extends above the upper edge of the grommet opening.
Choose your preferred lower finish:
Floating slightly above the floor
Finishing directly at floor level
Gently breaking against the floor
Decoratively puddling on the floor
For children’s rooms and nurseries, a clean floor-length or slightly floating finish is often more practical than a long puddled finish.
Measure the height in more than one location, particularly when the floor, ceiling or window frame may be uneven.
CAFE CURTAINS AND SHORT WINDOW CURTAINS
This woodland animal pure linen fabric can also be made into custom cafe curtains and short window panels.
The whimsical animal pattern works beautifully for:
Kitchen cafe curtains
Playroom cafe curtains
Bathroom privacy curtains
Half-window curtains
Nursery window tiers
Reading-nook curtains
Pantry curtains
Laundry-room curtains
Cabinet curtains
Door-window curtains
Short cottage curtains
Children’s playhouse curtains
Cafe curtains may be made unlined for softly filtered daylight or with an organic cotton liner when greater opacity and privacy are required.
For cafe curtains, purchase the next standard size above your required finished measurement and enter the exact cafe-curtain width, height, heading style and liner preference in the order details email.
Because cafe curtains are a custom application rather than the primary full-length product, this option is included in the description and tags but not in the product title.
NURSERY, CHILDREN’S ROOM AND PLAYROOM DECOR
The fabric’s earthy color palette makes it suitable for both boys’ and girls’ rooms as well as gender-neutral nurseries.
The whimsical animals can support a variety of room themes, including:
Woodland nursery decor
Forest-themed nursery decor
Boho nursery decor
Tribal nursery decor
Gender-neutral baby rooms
Rustic nursery decor
Cottagecore children’s rooms
Animal-themed bedrooms
Nature-inspired playrooms
Forest-school-inspired spaces
Montessori-style playrooms
Storybook reading corners
Adventure-themed children’s rooms
The olive background coordinates well with:
Natural wood cribs
White or cream nursery furniture
Walnut furniture
Rattan storage baskets
Jute rugs
Mustard cushions
Rust-colored blankets
Burgundy accessories
Cream bedding
Warm beige walls
Terracotta decor
Soft yellow accents
Muted green paint
Black or dark bronze curtain rods
The woodland imagery is playful without looking overly cartoonish. This allows the curtains to remain suitable as a child grows from nursery age into a toddler or young child’s room.
LIVING ROOM AND ADULT INTERIOR USE
Although the design is particularly appealing for nurseries and children’s spaces, it is not limited to children’s rooms.
The subdued olive ground and traditional folk-art styling can also complement:
Rustic living rooms
Country cottages
Woodland cabins
Eclectic bedrooms
Artist studios
Reading rooms
Creative workspaces
Earthy bohemian interiors
Nature-inspired guest rooms
Folk-art collections
Cottagecore homes
Relaxed farmhouse interiors
In an adult room, the pattern can be paired with simple neutral furnishings so the animal and botanical design becomes an artistic statement textile.
PATTERN PLACEMENT
The print contains scattered animals, trees, flowers and small landscape details arranged throughout the fabric repeat.
The exact animal motifs visible on each finished curtain will depend on:
The curtain width
The curtain height
The heading style
The location of the side hems
The location of the lower hem
The placement of any central joining seam
The position at which the fabric must be cut
A short curtain will display fewer animals than a floor-to-ceiling panel.
A 100-inch-wide curtain will display a broader selection of animals and landscape motifs than a 50-inch-wide curtain.
Two panels ordered together will be cut and coordinated carefully to create a balanced pair. However, they may not be exact mirror images because of the scattered repeat and the usable width of the fabric.
Exact matching of individual foxes, owls, fish, branches or flowers across the two panels cannot be guaranteed.
Small differences in motif placement are normal and contribute to the made-to-order nature of the curtains.
COLOR AND SCREEN VARIATION
The olive background and warm accent colors may appear different depending on:
Natural daylight
Warm indoor lighting
Cool white lighting
Direct sunlight
The direction of the linen weave
The selected lining
Camera exposure
Individual phone or computer screen settings
The olive base may appear:
Greener in bright natural daylight
Warmer and browner under yellow indoor lighting
More taupe under cool lighting
Slightly deeper when backed with a liner
The cream animals may appear closer to ivory, oatmeal or pale beige depending on the surrounding room colors.
The burgundy outlines are muted and earthy rather than bright red.
The yellow accents are closer to mustard and pale ochre than lemon yellow.
A fabric sample is recommended whenever an exact color match is essential.
MADE-TO-ORDER CONSTRUCTION
Every curtain is individually cut and sewn according to the selected size, heading style and liner preference.
The side hems, lower hem and heading are professionally finished.
When a liner is selected, it is attached behind the printed pure linen so the woodland face fabric remains the primary visible material.
Because the curtains are custom made, please review all selected dimensions and Personalization information carefully before placing the order.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Professional dry cleaning is recommended to preserve the pure linen fibers, printed design, heading construction and optional lining.
Avoid bleach, harsh chemicals and strong stain-removal products.
Do not scrub the printed surface aggressively.
Do not wash the curtains in hot water.
Linen naturally develops creases during folding, packaging and transportation. These creases generally soften after the curtains have been unpacked and hung.
A handheld garment steamer may be used carefully from the reverse side while maintaining a safe distance from the fabric.
Avoid applying excessive direct heat to the printed surface or blackout lining.
Normal surface dust may be removed using a gentle fabric brush or a vacuum cleaner with a low-suction upholstery attachment.
