Warm Taupe & Ivory Pure Linen Jacquard Curtains, Art Deco Geometric Chevron Drapes, Custom Extra Long Blackout Panels
WARM TAUPE & IVORY PURE LINEN JACQUARD CURTAINS WITH ART DECO GEOMETRIC CHEVRON PATTERN
Bring sophisticated neutral colour, substantial natural linen texture and architectural woven pattern to your windows with these custom-made thick and heavy pure linen jacquard curtains.
This elegant fabric combines a rich but understated warm taupe to mushroom-greige pure linen ground with contrasting pearl ivory, soft cream and champagne-off-white jacquard detailing.
The dominant taupe is neither a cool grey nor a strongly yellow beige.
Instead, it sits beautifully between:
• Warm taupe
• Mushroom
• Greige brown
• Mocha stone
• Soft grey brown
• Muted putty
• Natural earthy beige-grey
Across this sophisticated neutral ground is a large-scale woven geometric pattern composed of elongated faceted diamonds, angular chevrons, vertical ribbon-like forms, repeating V shapes and groups of fine parallel diagonal lines.
The geometric design is woven directly into the fabric rather than printed onto the surface.
This gives the curtain genuine jacquard texture, subtle changes in sheen and considerably more visual depth than a flat printed geometric curtain.
From a normal viewing distance, the strongest colour impression is:
WARM TAUPE + PEARL IVORY
with softer undertones of:
MUSHROOM + GREIGE + MOCHA STONE + CHAMPAGNE + SOFT CREAM
The overall effect is calm, architectural and luxurious without being flashy.
The warm neutral palette makes these curtains particularly easy to coordinate with contemporary interiors, quiet-luxury homes, organic modern decor, sophisticated bedrooms, elegant living rooms, transitional spaces, modern farmhouse homes and Art Deco-inspired interiors.
Each curtain is individually made to order and can be purchased as:
• One Single Curtain Panel
• Pair / Set of 2 Matching Curtain Panels
Choose from:
• Unlined
• Organic Cotton Light-Filtering Liner
• 100% Blackout OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Certified Polycotton Liner
COLOUR DESCRIPTION
MAIN TAUPE / MUSHROOM COLOUR
The principal colour of the fabric is a warm medium-light taupe.
It is an earthy neutral with both grey and brown undertones.
Depending on the lighting and colours surrounding the curtains, the main shade may appear as:
• Warm taupe
• Mushroom taupe
• Greige brown
• Stone brown
• Mocha grey
• Putty
• Warm grey beige
• Soft earthy brown
It should not be interpreted as a dark chocolate brown.
It is also warmer and more earthy than a conventional cool silver grey.
The colour has enough depth to create contrast against ivory walls while remaining neutral enough to coordinate with a very wide variety of interior palettes.
In bright natural daylight, the fabric may appear lighter and slightly more greige.
Under warm evening lighting, its mushroom, mocha and warm-brown undertones may become more noticeable.
PEARL IVORY JACQUARD COLOUR
The lighter sections of the woven pattern are a soft pearl ivory to champagne off-white.
Depending on the light, they may appear as:
• Pearl ivory
• Soft cream
• Warm off-white
• Champagne ivory
• Pale natural flax
They are not a stark optical white.
Because these sections are woven rather than printed, the yarn direction reflects light differently across different parts of the pattern.
Certain areas can therefore appear brighter or slightly more lustrous when viewed from an angle.
This subtle variation is one of the attractive characteristics of jacquard textiles.
OVERALL COLOUR EFFECT
From across the room, these curtains read primarily as:
TAUPE + IVORY
The overall impression is warm, neutral and sophisticated.
The fabric works especially well with:
• Warm-white walls
• Ivory
• Cream
• Beige
• Greige
• Mushroom
• Taupe
• Chocolate-brown accents
• Charcoal
• Black
• Natural oak
• White oak
• Walnut
• Dark wood
• Rattan
• Cane
• Brass
• Antique brass
• Champagne metal
• Matte-black curtain hardware
This makes it particularly useful where you want more depth than plain beige linen but do not want a strong colour dominating the room.
Please remember that textile colours can look slightly different depending on:
• Natural daylight
• Warm artificial lighting
• Cool artificial lighting
• Surrounding wall colours
• Flooring
• Furniture
• Screen brightness
• Screen colour calibration
• Photography
• Viewing angle
ART DECO-INSPIRED GEOMETRIC JACQUARD PATTERN
The woven pattern has a strong architectural quality.
The design contains:
• Oversized elongated diamonds
• Tall faceted geometric forms
• Angular chevrons
• Repeating V-shaped sections
• Vertical ribbon-like structures
• Fine parallel diagonal stripes
• Interlocking geometric forms
The long vertical shapes naturally draw the eye upwards, making the design particularly attractive on tall curtain panels and floor-to-ceiling windows.
Groups of fine diagonal lines appear within portions of the larger geometric shapes.
These narrow stripes add another layer of texture and prevent the oversized motif from appearing flat or overly simple.
The pattern has influences from:
• Art Deco geometry
• Contemporary geometric decor
• Modern luxury interiors
• Mid-century-inspired pattern
• Transitional interiors
• Quiet luxury styling
• Architectural modern decor
• Sophisticated neutral interiors
Because the taupe and ivory colours are relatively close in tone, the pattern remains elegant rather than visually aggressive.
In softer lighting it appears understated and tonal.
When brighter light strikes the jacquard weave, the ivory geometric sections become more prominent.
WOVEN JACQUARD – NOT A FLAT PRINT
The geometric pattern is woven directly into the pure linen fabric.
It is not simply printed onto the surface.
Jacquard weaving produces the design by changing the structure and arrangement of the yarns themselves.
This creates:
• Genuine woven texture
• Tactile surface variation
• Subtle differences in sheen
• Greater textile depth
• A richer designer-fabric appearance
• More dimensionality than a printed geometric pattern
• Beautiful interaction with natural and artificial light
Because the design is woven, the pattern can change subtly in prominence depending on the viewing direction and lighting.
This gives the completed curtains a particularly sophisticated appearance.
THICK & HEAVY PURE LINEN
These curtains are made from substantial pure linen jacquard face fabric.
The natural linen provides:
• Visible woven texture
• Organic fibre character
• Substantial body
• Rich natural folds
• Natural movement
• A relaxed yet refined appearance
Pure linen can naturally contain:
• Small slubs
• Slightly thicker yarns
• Fine thick-and-thin areas
• Minor weave irregularities
• Natural fibre variations
These are expected characteristics of genuine linen and should not be considered defects.
The slight irregularities of natural linen are particularly attractive in this design because they soften the precision of the geometric pattern and prevent the fabric from looking overly synthetic.
FABRIC WEIGHT – APPROXIMATELY 294 GSM
The supplied pure linen face-fabric specification is:
403 grams per linear metre
at a fabric width of:
54 inches / approximately 137 cm.
This converts to approximately:
294 GSM.
This makes the face fabric substantial and considerably heavier than lightweight decorative linen.
The approximately 294 GSM construction provides enough body for rich and defined folds while preserving the natural movement associated with linen.
Please note:
Approximately 294 GSM refers to the PURE LINEN FACE FABRIC itself.
Adding either the organic cotton lining or the 100% blackout lining will increase the overall finished weight, structure and fullness of the completed curtain.
SINGLE CURTAIN PANEL OR PAIR / SET OF 2
These curtains can be purchased as:
SINGLE PANEL
You will receive one individual curtain in the selected width and height.
PAIR / SET OF 2
You will receive two matching individual curtain panels.
Each individual curtain in the pair is made in the selected width and height.
IMPORTANT:
The width selected in the listing refers to the FLAT FINISHED WIDTH OF EACH INDIVIDUAL CURTAIN BEFORE GATHERING.
EXAMPLES:
ONE 50-INCH-WIDE CURTAIN
You receive one curtain approximately:
50 inches / 127 cm wide.
PAIR OF 50-INCH-WIDE CURTAINS
You receive two curtains measuring approximately:
50 inches / 127 cm wide EACH.
Combined flat width:
100 inches / approximately 254 cm.
ONE 100-INCH-WIDE CURTAIN
You receive one curtain approximately:
100 inches / 254 cm wide.
PAIR OF 100-INCH-WIDE CURTAINS
You receive two curtains measuring:
100 inches / 254 cm wide EACH.
Combined flat width:
200 inches / approximately 508 cm.
Please remember that curtains occupy less horizontal space after they are gathered into folds on the curtain rod or track.
AVAILABLE WIDTHS
Standard finished width options:
• 50 inches / approximately 127 cm per curtain
• 100 inches / approximately 254 cm per curtain
The selected width is the FLAT FINISHED WIDTH OF EACH individual curtain panel before gathering.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT 100-INCH-WIDE CURTAINS
Every 100-inch-wide curtain panel will be made by joining two approximately 50-inch-wide sections of fabric.
There will therefore be one carefully finished vertical joining seam near the centre of every 100-inch-wide curtain.
This seam is generally barely visible after the curtain has been:
• Installed
• Gathered into folds
• Properly dressed and arranged
• Viewed from a normal distance
Joining two widths is necessary because the original pure linen jacquard fabric is produced in a limited loom width.
If you purchase:
ONE 100-INCH-WIDE CURTAIN
That individual curtain will contain one joining seam.
PAIR / SET OF 2 100-INCH-WIDE CURTAINS
Each individual curtain will contain its own joining seam.
We will align the geometric jacquard pattern across the joined widths as carefully as reasonably possible.
However, exact continuation of every individual elongated diamond, chevron and parallel diagonal stripe cannot always be guaranteed because this depends on:
• Pattern repeat
• Exact finished dimensions
• Fabric cutting position
• Heading construction
• Position of the woven motif
Once the curtains are installed and gathered into natural folds, the joining seam is normally barely noticeable.
AVAILABLE CURTAIN HEIGHTS
Standard finished heights are available from 36 inches through 180 inches in 12-inch increments:
• 36 inches / approximately 91 cm
• 48 inches / approximately 122 cm
• 60 inches / approximately 152 cm

• 84 inches / approximately 213 cm
• 96 inches / approximately 244 cm
• 108 inches / approximately 274 cm
• 120 inches / approximately 305 cm
• 132 inches / approximately 335 cm
• 144 inches / approximately 366 cm
• 156 inches / approximately 396 cm
• 168 inches / approximately 427 cm
• 180 inches / approximately 457 cm

• Nurseries
• French doors
• Sliding doors
• Large picture windows
• Floor-to-ceiling windows

LINING OPTIONS
These pure linen jacquard curtains are available with three lining choices:
1. UNLINED
2. ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT-FILTERING LINER
3. 100% BLACKOUT OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 CERTIFIED POLYCOTTON LINER
Please enter your required lining option in the order details email.
1. UNLINED CURTAINS
Choose the unlined option if you prefer the most natural appearance, texture and movement of the pure linen jacquard face fabric.
When unlined, these curtains provide semi-sheer privacy.
Although the linen face fabric is thick and substantial, some natural daylight can still pass through the fabric when strongly backlit.
The exact degree of transparency depends on:
• Strength of sunlight
• Direction of daylight
• Time of day
• Curtain fullness
• Interior lighting
• Distance between the curtain and window
• Whether the curtain is being viewed from inside or outside
During daytime use, the unlined curtain softens the view through the window while allowing pleasant natural daylight to enter.
It provides privacy but should not be considered completely opaque.
At night, particularly when interior lights are switched on, shadows or silhouettes may potentially be visible from outside.
Choose UNLINED when you prefer:
• Maximum natural linen character
• Maximum visibility of the jacquard weave
• Soft filtered daylight
• Semi-sheer privacy
• A lighter completed curtain
• Natural relaxed folds
• Decorative window panels
• Curtains layered with an existing Roman shade or blind
2. ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT-FILTERING LINER
Choose the organic cotton light-filtering liner when you want increased privacy and complete visual opacity while retaining softly diffused natural daylight.
Adding the organic cotton liner makes the completed curtain opaque under normal viewing conditions.
The pure linen face fabric will no longer appear semi-sheer.
The organic cotton liner:
• Makes the curtain visually opaque
• Provides increased daytime privacy
• Provides increased nighttime privacy
• Softens direct sunlight
• Diffuses natural daylight
• Adds body to the curtain
• Supports the substantial linen jacquard fabric
• Helps create fuller folds
• Produces a richer and more structured finished drape
This option works particularly well for:
• Living rooms
• Dining rooms
• Bedrooms
• Guest rooms
• Nurseries
• Home offices
• Street-facing windows
• Rooms where privacy is important
IMPORTANT:
The organic cotton liner is LIGHT FILTERING.
It is not blackout.
Natural daylight will continue to enter through the completed curtain, but it will be softened and diffused.
Choose this option when you want:
COMPLETE VISUAL OPACITY + PRIVACY + SOFT NATURAL LIGHT.
3. 100% BLACKOUT OEKO-TEX CERTIFIED LINER
Choose the blackout lining where maximum light blocking through the curtain fabric is required.
The blackout liner is an OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified non-toxic polycotton fabric composed of:
• 50% Cotton
• 50% Polyester
The specialised lining prevents light from passing through the body of the curtain.
The completed curtain fabric itself therefore becomes fully opaque.
The blackout option is especially suitable for:
• Bedrooms
• Nurseries
• Children's rooms
• Guest bedrooms
• Media rooms
• Home cinemas
• Shift workers
• Street-facing bedrooms
• Rooms receiving strong sunlight
• Rooms where darkness is important for sleep
• Spaces requiring maximum privacy
IMPORTANT BLACKOUT INFORMATION
The 100% blackout liner completely blocks light passing THROUGH the curtain fabric itself.
However, blackout-lined curtains do not necessarily make an entire room completely dark because light can still potentially enter AROUND the curtain installation.
Possible areas include:
• Above the curtain
• Around the outer sides
• Beneath the curtain
• Through the centre gap between two panels
For the darkest possible installation:
• Order generous curtain fullness
• Extend the curtain rod or track beyond both sides of the window
• Install the curtains above the top of the window opening
• Allow two curtain panels to overlap slightly at the centre
• Select sufficient finished curtain length
• Position the curtains reasonably close to the wall
• Ensure the complete window opening is covered
AVAILABLE HEADING STYLES
Four heading styles are available:
• Hooks Top
• Back Tabs
• Rod Pocket
• Grommets
Please enter your required heading style in the order details email.
HOOKS TOP
Hooks Top is compatible with BOTH:
• Curtain rods fitted with rings
• Curtain tracks
When installed on a curtain rod:
The hooks attach to suitable curtain rings around the rod.
When installed on a track:
The hooks attach to the runners or gliders fitted to the curtain track.
Hooks Top is especially suitable for:
• Wall-mounted curtain tracks
• Ceiling-mounted tracks
• Decorative rods fitted with rings
• Frequently opened curtains
• Wide windows
• Tall curtains
• Floor-to-ceiling curtains
• Extra-long curtain panels
Hooks Top is the most versatile heading option.
BACK TABS
Back tabs are fabric loops sewn onto the reverse of the curtain heading.
The curtain rod passes through these concealed loops.
When viewed from the front, most of the curtain rod remains hidden.
Back-tab curtains create:
• Clean structured folds
• Minimal visible hardware
• A tailored appearance
• Contemporary styling
• A relaxed yet sophisticated drape
Back Tabs require a curtain rod.
They cannot be fitted directly onto a standard curtain track.
ROD POCKET
A fabric channel is sewn across the top of the curtain.
The curtain rod passes directly through the channel.
Rod-pocket curtains create:
• Soft gathered folds
• Minimal visible hardware
• A relaxed appearance
• A classic curtain style
Rod Pocket works particularly well for:
• Living-room curtains
• Bedroom curtains
• Decorative curtain panels
• Smaller windows
• Short curtains
• Custom cafe curtains
Please ensure that your curtain rod diameter is compatible with the rod-pocket opening.
GROMMETS
Grommets, also called eyelets, are rings installed across the top of the curtain.
The rod passes directly through these rings.
Grommet curtains create:
• Broad wave-like folds
• A clean contemporary appearance
• Easy opening and closing
• Even gathering
• Visible decorative hardware
Grommet curtains require a curtain rod.
They cannot be installed directly onto a standard curtain track.
CURTAIN FULLNESS
The selected curtain width refers to the FLAT FINISHED WIDTH before gathering.
For attractive curtain folds, the total combined width should normally be greater than the usable width of your curtain rod or track.
As a general guide:
1.5 × FULLNESS
Creates a more relaxed contemporary appearance.
2 × FULLNESS
Creates deeper, fuller and more luxurious curtain folds.
EXAMPLE:
Curtain rod width:
50 inches
Pair of 50-inch-wide curtains:
100 inches combined flat width
This gives approximately 2 × fullness.
ANOTHER EXAMPLE:
Curtain rod width:
100 inches
Pair of 100-inch-wide curtains:
200 inches combined flat width
This also provides approximately 2 × fullness.
HOW FULLNESS AFFECTS THIS GEOMETRIC JACQUARD
The fabric has a large architectural geometric repeat.
WITH MORE FULLNESS:
• Curtains look richer and fuller
• Folds become deeper
• Portions of the elongated diamonds naturally move into the valleys between the folds
• The pattern appears softer and more dimensional
WITH LESS FULLNESS:
• Curtains hang flatter
• More complete geometric forms remain visible
• The jacquard pattern appears stronger and more graphic
HOW TO MEASURE CURTAIN WIDTH
1. Measure the usable width of your curtain rod or track.
2. Exclude decorative finials.
3. Decide whether you prefer approximately 1.5 × or 2 × fullness.
4. Multiply the usable width by your preferred fullness.
5. Divide the resulting combined width by the number of individual curtain panels required.
EXAMPLE:
Usable curtain rod width:
80 inches
Preferred fullness:
2 ×
80 × 2 = 160 inches recommended combined curtain width.
A pair of 100-inch-wide curtains provides 200 inches combined flat width and therefore gives generous fullness.
HOW TO MEASURE CURTAIN HEIGHT
Measure from the top of the installed curtain rod or track to where you want the curtains to end. For Hooks top only, subtract 1 in (2.54 cm) once from this measurement because the curtains hang slightly below the rod. Do not deduct or add an allowance for other heading styles.
HOOKS TOP:
Measure from the top of the installed curtain rod or track to where you want the curtains to end. For Hooks top only, subtract 1 in (2.54 cm) once from this measurement because the curtains hang slightly below the rod.
BACK TABS:
Measure from the top of the curtain rod.
ROD POCKET:
Measure from the top of the curtain rod.
GROMMETS:

Possible finished curtain lengths include:
• Window-sill length
• Below-sill length
• Apron length
• Floor length
• Just touching the floor
• Slightly puddling on the floor
For floor-length curtains, we recommend measuring at several positions because curtain rods and floors are not always perfectly level.
CUSTOM CAFE CURTAINS
This same warm taupe and pearl-ivory pure linen jacquard fabric can also be made into custom cafe curtains.
Cafe curtains are shorter curtains designed mainly to cover the lower portion of a window while leaving the upper portion open for natural daylight.
The taupe, mushroom and ivory colourway is especially suitable for cafe curtains because it introduces warmth and pattern without making smaller rooms feel visually heavy.
Cafe curtains work beautifully for:
• Kitchen windows
• Breakfast nooks
• Breakfast rooms
• Dining areas
• Bathrooms
• Powder rooms
• Pantry windows
• Utility rooms
• French doors
• Street-facing windows
• Small windows
• Lower-half window privacy
Cafe curtains can be made:
• Unlined
• Organic cotton light-filtering lined
• 100% blackout lined
Available heading styles include:
• Rod Pocket
• Back Tabs
• Hooks Top
• Grommets where suitable for the requested dimensions

PATTERN PLACEMENT
The exact position of the geometric jacquard pattern may vary according to:
• Curtain width
• Curtain height
• Pattern repeat
• Heading style
• Custom measurements
• Position from which the fabric is cut
• Whether a joining seam is required
When making a pair, we will position the pattern as consistently as reasonably possible.
However, exact mirror-image placement of every geometric motif cannot always be guaranteed.
Once the curtains are gathered, some elongated diamonds and chevrons will remain prominently visible across the fronts of the folds while others will naturally move into the valleys between the folds.
This creates additional visual movement and depth.

ART DECO & CONTEMPORARY INTERIORS
The elongated diamonds, sharp faceted forms and groups of parallel diagonal lines give the fabric a subtle Art Deco character.
Rather than using the dramatic black-and-gold contrast traditionally associated with Art Deco, this fabric interprets geometric glamour through sophisticated warm taupe and pearl ivory.
It therefore works particularly well in elegant contemporary interiors where you want architectural pattern without strong colour.
Pair with:
• Cream boucle furniture
• Curved sofas
• Marble
• Brass lighting
• Champagne metal
• Walnut
• Natural oak
• Warm-white walls
for a refined modern look.
QUIET LUXURY & NEUTRAL INTERIORS
This colourway is particularly well suited to quiet-luxury interiors.
The visual interest comes from:
• Natural linen texture
• Jacquard weaving
• Geometric structure
• Soft tonal contrast
• Changing woven sheen
rather than bright colour.
The curtain therefore adds richness without disturbing a restrained neutral room.
MODERN ORGANIC INTERIORS
The earthy mushroom-taupe colouring also coordinates naturally with modern organic interiors.
Pair with:
• Travertine
• Limestone
• Warm oak
• Walnut
• Cream boucle
• Natural linen
• Rattan
• Woven rugs
• Handmade ceramics
for a layered, natural interior.
LIVING ROOM CURTAINS
Choose:
UNLINED
for the most natural linen character and softly filtered daylight.
ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT FILTERING
for complete visual opacity and increased privacy while retaining softly diffused natural light.
100% BLACKOUT
for maximum light blocking through the curtain fabric and a heavier, fuller completed drape.
BEDROOM CURTAINS
For bedrooms, the blackout-lined option provides maximum light blocking through the body of the curtain.
The combination of:
• Heavy pure linen
• Woven geometric jacquard
• Blackout lining
creates a substantial finished curtain.
The warm taupe and ivory palette works beautifully with:
• Cream bedding
• Ivory bedding
• Warm-white walls
• Natural oak
• Walnut
• Taupe upholstery
• Black accents
• Brass lighting
DINING ROOM CURTAINS
The geometric design gives the curtains enough architectural interest for a dining room without competing excessively with furniture or artwork.
They coordinate particularly well with:
• Natural oak dining tables
• Walnut furniture
• Cream linen dining chairs
• Stone flooring
• Warm neutral walls
• Brass lighting
• Black accents
NURSERY CURTAINS
The sophisticated neutral palette can also work beautifully in a gender-neutral nursery.
The geometric design is timeless rather than specifically child-themed, allowing the curtains to remain suitable as the room changes over time.
Choose the 100% blackout liner where darkness is required for daytime sleep.
