How to measure for inside recess Roman shades: Measure the inside width of the recess in 3 places: top, middle, and bottom. Measure the inside drop in 3 places: left, centre, and right. Use the smallest width measurement and the smallest drop measurement. Your blind will be made to fit inside the recess. For a neat fit, the finished blind is usually made slightly narrower than the recess width.

How to measure for outside recess Roman shades: Measure the full width you would like the blind to cover. For better privacy and light control, it is best to extend the blind beyond the window opening on both sides where possible. Measure the total finished drop from the point where you want the blind to start to the point where you want it to end. Send us the exact finished size required.

Hardware included: Hardware is included for both inside recess and outside recess installation. Your order will include the appropriate clamps for your fitting type and screws. Different clamps are supplied depending on whether the blind is being fitted within the recess or outside the recess.
