How to measure (step-by-step)
Inside recess (inside mount)
1. Measure inside width in 3 places (top, middle, bottom).
2. Use the smallest width measurement as your exact width.
3. Measure inside height from the top inside edge down to the sill as your exact length.
4. If you are unsure about recess depth for an inside mount, message me before ordering.
Outside recess (outside mount)
1. Decide your overlap for better coverage (commonly 2–4 in / 5–10 cm per side).
2. Measure the total width including overlap as your exact width.
3. Measure from where you’ll mount above the window down to your desired finish point (sill or below) as your exact length.
