Widths shown are flat fabric widths per curtain, before gathering or pleating.

Measure for your curtains

Enter your width and height together, then apply your measurements.

Size-dropdown widths are flat fabric widths per curtain.

A gathered curtain covers less space than its flat fabric width. Choose fullness below; Grommet/Eyelet and Pinch pleats always need 2× your coverage width.

This selection also updates Heading style on the product page.

Choose your fullness

Multiply the rod / track coverage by your fullness, then divide by the number of curtains.

Photorealistic fullness examples; actual folds vary with fabric and heading.

Measure the usable span of your installed rod or track, from one end of the curtain coverage to the other. Exclude decorative finials.

A pair contains two curtains. The flat fabric width you order is per curtain, not the combined pair. Choosing a curtain count here updates Panel quantity on the product page.

Enter the full measured drop. For Hooks top only, we subtract 1 in (2.54 cm) because the curtain hangs slightly below the rod. Do not deduct it yourself.

Finished curtain height to orderEnter the height you measured above.

Apply your measurements

We select the exact available flat-width × finished-height size, or the closest larger size fitting both dimensions. For a larger size, your exact request is added to Custom sizes / requirements, preserving your own notes. Your curtain-count choice also updates Panel quantity on the product page.

Review your heading and fullness before applying. This updates your selected size but does not add anything to your cart.

How to measure · illustrations and examples

Measure the space your curtains will cover

Measure the usable span of your installed rod or track, from one end of the curtain coverage to the other. Exclude decorative finials.

Measure the usable rod or track span—not the window glass or decorative finials.

Example: a 100 in (254 cm) rod, two curtains and 2× fullness need 100 in (254 cm) flat width per curtain.

Flat fabric width before gathering or pleating—not the hanging coverage.

Measure from the top of the rod to your chosen bottom

Measure straight down from the top of your installed curtain rod to where you want the curtains to end. For a track, use the top of the installed track.

Start at the top of the rod or track. Stop at your chosen bottom.

Taupe Brown, Beige & Ivory Printed Linen Curtains, Geometric Check Farmhouse Drapes, Custom Blackout or Light Filtering Panels — image 1

Taupe Brown, Beige & Ivory Printed Linen Curtains, Geometric Check Farmhouse Drapes, Custom Blackout or Light Filtering Panels

Product description
Shipping & returns

Bring warm, grounded character to your windows with these thick and substantial pure linen curtains, featuring an oversized geometric check print in a sophisticated palette of taupe brown, cocoa, warm beige, oatmeal, and natural ivory.

The design consists of broad taupe-brown horizontal and vertical bands arranged into a large windowpane-style grid. Within each opening is a soft oatmeal or camel-beige block accented by a smaller, offset ivory square. These nested squares give the fabric an artistic, dimensional appearance that feels like a modern interpretation of traditional plaid, gingham, and buffalo check.

The pattern is bold enough to make a statement while its earthy neutral colors remain calm, versatile, and easy to coordinate. It is especially suited to modern farmhouse, rustic farmhouse, organic-modern, transitional, contemporary country, cottage, lodge, cabin, neutral, and Scandinavian-inspired interiors.

Please note that this is a PRINTED geometric pattern on pure linen. It is not embroidered, woven plaid, velvet, or yarn-dyed gingham.

FABRIC AND WEIGHT

• Curtain face fabric: Pure linen
• Construction: Thick, heavy, and substantial linen with a naturally textured surface
• Pattern: Printed oversized geometric check with nested offset squares
• Colors: Taupe brown, cocoa brown, mushroom taupe, oatmeal beige, warm camel, natural ivory, and off-white
• Supplied fabric weight: 403 grams per linear meter on 54-inch-wide fabric
• Converted fabric weight: Approximately 294 GSM

This approximately 294 GSM linen is considerably more substantial than lightweight linen voile. It hangs with an elegant, weighty drape while preserving the natural texture, subtle slubs, and relaxed character for which genuine linen is valued.

Because linen is a natural fiber, small slubs, knots, irregular threads, and minor variations in texture may be visible. These are natural characteristics of linen rather than defects and help make every finished curtain unique.

WHAT YOU CAN ORDER

These curtains are available as:

• One single curtain panel
• A pair or set of two matching curtain panels

Please check the selected quantity carefully before ordering. Every width and length shown refers to the measurements of ONE individual finished curtain panel unless the option specifically states that it is a pair or set of two.

AVAILABLE WIDTHS

• 50 inches wide — approximately 127 cm
• 100 inches wide — approximately 254 cm

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR 100-INCH-WIDE PANELS

The linen fabric is produced in approximately 50-inch usable widths. Therefore, every 100-inch-wide curtain panel will be constructed by professionally joining two 50-inch fabric widths.

This creates one vertical joining seam near the middle of the finished curtain. The pattern will be aligned as carefully as the design and fabric permit. Once the curtain is gathered, pleated, or arranged in natural folds and installed at the window, the seam is generally barely visible.

Please order the 100-inch width only if you are comfortable with this necessary construction detail.

AVAILABLE HEIGHTS

Standard finished lengths are available from 36 inches to 180 inches in 12-inch increments:

• 36 inches
• 48 inches
• 60 inches
• 72 inches
• 84 inches
• 96 inches
• 108 inches
• 120 inches
• 132 inches
• 144 inches
• 156 inches
• 168 inches
• 180 inches

These options include popular sill-length, apron-length, floor-length, extra-long, tall-window, double-height, and high-ceiling curtain sizes.

CUSTOM CURTAIN SIZES

Custom widths and lengths are welcome.

If your required measurement is not listed, please select the next available standard size UP from the size you need. Enter your exact required finished width and finished length in the order details email.

Example: If you need a finished panel measuring 50 inches wide by 90 inches long, select the 50 × 96-inch option and request a finished length of exactly 90 inches in the order details email.

Please do not select a size smaller than the curtain you require. If you need help choosing the correct option, contact us with your window, rod, or track measurements before placing the order.

FOUR HEADING STYLES

Choose from the following curtain-top styles:

1. HOOKS TOP

Made for use with curtain hooks and compatible with both curtain rods and curtain tracks, provided the rod uses suitable rings or carriers. This style creates a tailored, structured drapery appearance.

2. BACK TABS

Hidden fabric tabs are sewn onto the back of the curtain header. The rod passes through these concealed tabs, producing soft folds with no visible rings or hardware from the front.

3. ROD POCKET

A sewn channel at the top allows the curtain rod to slide directly through the fabric. This creates an easy, gathered farmhouse or cottage-style finish.

4. GROMMETS

Metal eyelets are fitted across the curtain header so the rod passes directly through them. Grommets create evenly spaced folds and allow the curtain to open and close easily.

Please enter your required heading style in the order details email. Unless a specific metal finish is shown or agreed upon, contact us before ordering if the exact grommet color is important to your room.

THREE LINING OPTIONS

1. UNLINED — SEMI-SHEER PRIVACY CURTAIN

Unlined linen gently filters daylight and retains the most natural linen appearance. It creates a relaxed, airy atmosphere while providing a degree of daytime privacy.

Because the fabric is naturally semi-sheer, shapes, strong light, or silhouettes may remain visible, particularly at night when interior lights are on. Unlined curtains should not be considered fully private after dark.

2. ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT-FILTERING LINER

An organic cotton liner may be added for greater privacy and a fuller drape. This option makes the finished curtain completely opaque under normal household conditions while still allowing softly diffused natural light into the room.

The cotton liner is ideal for living rooms, dining rooms, family rooms, nurseries, home offices, and bedrooms where privacy is wanted without creating complete darkness.

Please note that light filtering is not the same as blackout.

3. 100% BLACKOUT OEKO-TEX CERTIFIED POLYCOTTON LINER

Choose the blackout liner when maximum darkness is required. This OEKO-TEX certified polycotton lining is designed to block light completely through the lined curtain fabric.

It is especially useful for bedrooms, nurseries, media rooms, guest rooms, night-shift sleeping spaces, and rooms affected by streetlights or strong morning sun.

As with any blackout curtain installation, a small amount of light may enter around the top, bottom, or sides if gaps remain between the curtain and the wall. For the darkest result, use generous curtain coverage and position the rod sufficiently above and beyond the window frame.

PERSONALIZATION IS REQUIRED

Please enter the following information in the order details email:

• Heading style: Hooks Top, Back Tabs, Rod Pocket, or Grommets
• Liner choice: Unlined, Organic Cotton Light Filtering, or 100% Blackout
• Exact finished measurements if ordering a customized size
• Any other agreed customization details

Suggested personalization format:

“Back Tabs / Organic Cotton Liner / Standard Selected Size”

or:

“Hooks Top / Blackout Liner / Custom Finished Size: 50 inches wide × 90 inches long”

CAFE CURTAINS AVAILABLE

We can also make this fabric into custom linen cafe curtains, kitchen curtains, half-window curtains, breakfast-nook curtains, bathroom privacy curtains, or short farmhouse window panels.

For a custom cafe curtain, select the next available size up and write the exact finished measurements in the order details email. Please include “Cafe Curtain” with your required heading and liner choice.

STYLE AND ROOM IDEAS

These warm neutral patterned curtains work beautifully as:

• Farmhouse living-room curtains
• Rustic bedroom curtains
• Neutral dining-room drapes
• Kitchen and breakfast-nook curtains
• Linen cafe curtains
• Cabin or lodge window treatments
• Cottage and country-house curtains
• Extra-long curtains for tall windows
• High-ceiling and double-height drapes
• Blackout bedroom or nursery curtains
• Light-filtering home-office panels
• Wide curtains for patio doors and large windows

The taupe, brown, beige, oatmeal, and ivory palette coordinates naturally with warm white walls, natural oak, walnut, reclaimed timber, woven baskets, leather furniture, aged brass, matte black hardware, stone, jute rugs, cream upholstery, and other earthy neutral furnishings.

MEASURING GUIDANCE

Curtain width refers to the flat, ungathered width of one finished panel.

For an attractive gathered appearance, the combined flat width of the curtains should normally be greater than the width of the rod or track. Approximately 1.5 to 2 times the covered width is commonly used, depending on the desired fullness and heading style.

For example, a 60-inch-wide window treatment generally needs more than 60 inches of combined flat curtain width if visible fullness is desired.

Measure from the top of the installed curtain rod or track to where you want the curtains to end. For Hooks top only, subtract 1 in (2.54 cm) once from this measurement because the curtains hang slightly below the rod. Do not deduct or add an allowance for other heading styles.

Possible finishing positions include:

• Window sill
• Below the sill
• Floor level
• Slight floor break
• Puddled on the floor

If you are uncertain, please send the rod or track width, the required drop, and your preferred heading style before ordering.

PATTERN PLACEMENT AND HANDMADE VARIATION

The placement of the geometric print will vary according to the selected panel size and the section of fabric cut. Two panels ordered together will be coordinated as closely as reasonably possible, but exact mirror-image placement cannot be guaranteed.

For very long or wide curtains, pattern matching and fabric joins may require slight adjustments. The natural texture of linen can also cause tiny irregularities in the printed edges, contributing to the relaxed, handcrafted appearance.

COLOR DISCLAIMER

The photographed fabric reads as a warm combination of taupe brown, cocoa, mushroom beige, oatmeal, camel, ivory, and off-white. Color perception can change according to daylight, indoor lighting, surrounding wall colors, screen settings, and device calibration.

We recommend requesting or purchasing a fabric swatch before ordering if an exact shade match is essential.
