OPTION 1 – ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT-FILTERING LINER

This is a functional CORDED Roman shade.

The shade can be raised and lowered as required.

When fully lowered, the fabric sits comparatively flat across the window so the taupe, black and beige abstract geometric design can be appreciated across the complete face of the blind.

When raised, the fabric forms characteristic horizontal Roman folds.

This design therefore combines the decorative quality of patterned linen window treatment with the functionality of a made-to-measure Roman blind.

INSIDE MOUNT / INSIDE RECESS

An inside-mount Roman shade is installed within the window recess.

1. Use a rigid metal tape measure where possible.

2. Measure the exact INTERNAL WIDTH of the window recess at the top where the Roman shade headrail will be installed.

3. Measure the exact INTERNAL HEIGHT from the top of the recess down to the bottom of the area you want the blind to cover.

4. Measure carefully and check your dimensions again before ordering.

An outside-mount Roman blind is installed in front of the window opening or window frame.

This installation can provide greater overall window coverage and is useful where there is insufficient space within the recess.

HOW TO MEASURE FOR OUTSIDE MOUNT

1. Measure the width of the window opening.

2. For good side coverage, we generally recommend extending the Roman shade approximately 2 inches / 5 cm beyond EACH side of the window opening.

This means adding approximately:

4 inches / 10 cm TOTAL

to the window-opening width.

3. For the height, begin from the point where the blind will actually be installed.

A common outside-mount position is approximately:

4 inches / 10 cm above the top of the window frame.
