Taupe Beige Ivory Pure Linen Curtains, Printed Herringbone Ticking Stripe Farmhouse Drapes, Custom Blackout or Light Filtering Panels
TAUPE BEIGE AND IVORY PURE LINEN CURTAINS – PRINTED HERRINGBONE TICKING STRIPE FARMHOUSE DRAPES
Bring soft natural color, substantial linen texture and timeless European farmhouse character to your windows with these thick and heavy pure linen curtains.
The fabric features an understated vertical ticking-stripe pattern in mushroom taupe, warm beige, natural greige, muted brown-grey and creamy ivory. Broad neutral bands are combined with narrow pinstripes, grouped vertical lines and subtle herringbone or chevron-like printed details.
The result is a sophisticated neutral curtain that feels warmer than conventional grey drapes but cooler and more restrained than golden beige or camel curtains.
Inspired by antique French ticking, European grain-sack textiles and relaxed country-house interiors, these custom farmhouse curtains work beautifully in both traditional and contemporary rooms.
They can be purchased as one individual curtain panel or as a matching pair or set of two. Choose an unlined semi-sheer finish, an organic cotton light-filtering liner for additional privacy and complete opacity, or an OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified blackout polycotton liner for complete darkness through the fabric.
DETAILED COLOR DESCRIPTION
The lightest areas of the fabric are a warm natural ivory to creamy off-white. The ground is not a stark optical white and has the gentle warmth and organic variation associated with natural linen.
Depending on the surrounding light, the lighter sections may appear as:
• Warm ivory
• Natural cream
• Oatmeal white
• Soft off-white
• Pale flax
• Light biscuit
• Ivory beige
• Natural linen
The vertical stripes contain a closely related range of muted neutral colors:
• Mushroom taupe
• Warm greige
• Stone beige
• Putty beige
• Pale mocha
• Light cocoa
• Fawn brown
• Brown-grey
• Driftwood taupe
• Dusty beige
• Soft ash brown
• Muted oatmeal
The wider bands are mainly a pale mushroom-taupe or warm greige, while the narrow outlines and herringbone-like details appear in a slightly deeper brown-grey.
The overall color impression is:
WARM IVORY + MUSHROOM TAUPE + NATURAL BEIGE + SOFT GREIGE + MUTED BROWN-GREY
This tonal palette makes the fabric particularly easy to coordinate with cream, white, beige, taupe, brown, charcoal, black, warm grey and natural wood furnishings.
PATTERN DESCRIPTION
The design is a repeating vertical farmhouse stripe composed of wide and narrow elements.
The repeat includes:
• Broad mushroom-taupe vertical bands
• Slim taupe and brown-grey pinstripes
• Grouped double and triple vertical lines
• Generous creamy ivory spaces
• Subtle herringbone or chevron-like printed detail
• Softly weathered print edges
• Natural variation from the underlying linen weave
Several of the deeper taupe stripes contain a delicate zigzag or herringbone-style texture. This fine detail gives the design more visual depth than a completely flat stripe.
Please note that the herringbone-style detail is PRINTED onto the linen. It is not embroidery, appliqué or raised jacquard weaving.
From across the room, the curtains appear as elegant taupe and ivory striped drapes. At closer range, the grouped pinstripes and delicate herringbone-like print become more noticeable.
The alternating stripe widths create a relaxed vintage rhythm rather than the strict uniformity of a basic modern stripe.
MATERIAL AND WEIGHT
• Face fabric: Pure linen
• Fabric character: Thick, heavy and substantial
• Pattern technique: Printed vertical stripe
• Approximate fabric weight: 294 GSM
• Original supplied weight: 403 grams per linear meter
• Original fabric width used for conversion: 54 inches
• Converted weight: Approximately 294 grams per square meter
• Primary colors: Ivory, cream, beige, taupe, greige and brown-grey
• Surface: Naturally textured linen with visible yarn character
The 294 GSM figure has been calculated from the supplied weight of 403 grams per linear meter based on fabric measuring 54 inches wide.
This substantial linen has considerably more body than lightweight gauze or voile. It forms grounded, graceful folds and gives the finished curtains a rich, full appearance.
Natural linen may display:
• Small slubs
• Fine yarn variations
• Slightly thicker fibers
• Tiny natural flecks
• Minor woven irregularities
• Subtle changes in surface texture
These are authentic characteristics of genuine linen and should not be considered manufacturing defects.

HOW THE CURTAINS ARE SOLD
The curtains are available as:
• One single curtain panel
• One pair or set of two curtain panels
Please select the required quantity carefully.
Unless the variation specifically states “Pair” or “Set of 2,” the displayed option may represent one individual curtain panel.
IMPORTANT: Every selected width and height refers to the finished measurement of EACH INDIVIDUAL PANEL—not the combined measurement of a pair.
Examples:
• One 50-inch-wide panel measures approximately 50 inches wide when laid flat
• A pair of 50-inch-wide panels provides approximately 100 inches of combined flat width
• One 100-inch-wide panel measures approximately 100 inches wide when laid flat
• A pair of 100-inch-wide panels provides approximately 200 inches of combined flat width
AVAILABLE WIDTHS
• 50 inches wide / approximately 127 cm
• 100 inches wide / approximately 254 cm
The listed width is the actual finished flat fabric width before the curtain is gathered or arranged into folds.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT 100-INCH-WIDE PANELS
The original face fabric is approximately 54 inches wide. Therefore, a seamless 100-inch-wide curtain cannot be cut from one continuous fabric width.
Every 100-inch-wide curtain panel will be constructed by carefully joining two approximately 50-inch fabric sections.
This creates one vertical joining seam near the middle of the finished panel. We will match and align the vertical stripe pattern as carefully as the fabric repeat permits.
Once the curtain is installed and arranged into natural folds, the center seam generally blends into the striped design and is barely visible.
The centered seam is a normal and necessary construction detail of an extra-wide curtain and is not a manufacturing defect.
STANDARD HEIGHT OPTIONS
The following finished lengths are available:
• 36 inches / approximately 91 cm
• 48 inches / approximately 122 cm
• 60 inches / approximately 152 cm
• 72 inches / approximately 183 cm
• 84 inches / approximately 213 cm
• 96 inches / approximately 244 cm
• 108 inches / approximately 274 cm
• 120 inches / approximately 305 cm
• 132 inches / approximately 335 cm
• 144 inches / approximately 366 cm
• 156 inches / approximately 396 cm
• 168 inches / approximately 427 cm
• 180 inches / approximately 457 cm
This extensive size selection accommodates standard windows, floor-length drapes, tall ceilings, large doors, double-height rooms and dramatic extra-long curtain installations.
CUSTOM SIZES
Custom curtain widths and lengths are welcome.
To request custom finished measurements:
1. Determine the exact finished width and height required for each panel.
2. Select the next available standard size larger than your required measurements.
3. Enter the exact finished measurements in the order details email.
4. Enter your selected heading style.
5. Enter your chosen liner option.
6. Confirm whether you require one panel or a pair.
Personalization example:
“Set of 2 panels. Make each curtain exactly 47 inches wide × 93 inches long. Back Tabs. Organic Cotton Liner.”
Please do not purchase a standard size smaller than the custom dimensions required.
If the requested custom dimensions exceed the paid size option, we may contact you before beginning production.
HOW TO CHOOSE THE WIDTH
The displayed width is the actual flat width of each curtain. Extra fabric for gathers or fullness is not added automatically.
For attractive folds, the combined flat curtain width should generally be approximately 1.5 to 2 times the width of the curtain rod or track.
• Approximately 1.5× fullness creates a relaxed, lightly gathered look
• Approximately 2× fullness creates deeper and more luxurious folds
• Lower fullness creates a flatter, more tailored appearance
Example:
For a curtain rod measuring 100 inches wide, approximately 150 to 200 inches of total flat curtain width is generally recommended.
A pair of 50-inch-wide panels provides 100 inches of combined flat width and would look relatively flat over a 100-inch rod. A pair of 100-inch-wide panels provides 200 inches of combined flat width and would create a fuller gathered appearance.
Please measure the entire rod or track rather than only the glass portion of the window.
LINING OPTIONS
1. UNLINED – SEMI-SHEER PRIVACY
The unlined curtain preserves the most natural appearance of the linen and gently filters incoming daylight.
Because natural linen contains visible yarn intersections, the unlined curtain should be considered semi-sheer when illuminated by strong daylight or interior lighting.
It provides moderate daytime privacy but is not completely opaque. Silhouettes may be visible at night when the room is illuminated.
The unlined option works especially well in living rooms, dining rooms, kitchens and other spaces where softly filtered daylight is welcome.
2. ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT-FILTERING LINER
The organic cotton liner adds body and provides substantially greater privacy while continuing to allow soft, diffused natural light into the room.
With the cotton liner, the curtain becomes completely opaque for normal privacy purposes.
This option is suitable for:
• Bedrooms
• Nurseries
• Street-facing rooms
• Living rooms
• Dining rooms
• Home offices
• Guest rooms
The cotton liner also supports a fuller drape and softens the effect of strong sunlight behind the panel.
The organic cotton liner is light filtering and does not create complete darkness.
3. OEKO-TEX CERTIFIED 100% BLACKOUT POLYCOTTON LINER
Choose the OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified blackout polycotton liner when maximum light blocking is required.
This liner blocks light completely through the curtain fabric and is particularly suitable for:
• Bedrooms
• Nurseries
• Media rooms
• Home cinemas
• Night-shift sleepers
• Rooms receiving strong morning sunlight
• Rooms receiving intense afternoon sunlight
• Spaces requiring maximum privacy
The blackout liner is made from 50% cotton and 50% polyester.
Please remember that “100% blackout” refers to light passing through the lined fabric itself. Small amounts of light may still enter around the top, bottom or sides unless the curtain installation overlaps the surrounding wall and uses appropriate blackout hardware.
AVAILABLE HEADING STYLES
HOOKS TOP
Curtain heading tape is sewn onto the back of the panel for use with curtain hooks.
Hooks Top is compatible with:
• Curtain tracks
• Curtain rods fitted with rings
This versatile heading provides a tailored appearance and works particularly well with existing track systems.
BACK TABS
Concealed fabric tabs are sewn onto the back of the panel. The curtain rod passes through these hidden tabs.
Back Tabs create a clean front surface and soft, naturally arranged folds.
ROD POCKET
A sewn channel at the top allows the curtain rod to pass directly through the panel.
The Rod Pocket heading creates a simple, relaxed look well suited to farmhouse, cottage and French country interiors.
GROMMETS
Metal eyelets are fitted across the top of the panel. The curtain rod passes directly through the grommets.
This heading creates evenly spaced folds and allows smooth movement along a compatible rod.
Please confirm that your rod diameter is suitable for the selected grommets.

PATTERN PLACEMENT AND MATCHING
Each curtain is cut from a continuous length of patterned linen. The exact stripe appearing at the outside edge may vary depending on the requested finished width and the point from which the fabric is cut.
For a pair, the panels will be coordinated and pattern-matched as carefully as the fabric repeat permits.
For 100-inch-wide panels, we will also align the pattern across the centered joining seam as closely as reasonably possible. Absolute invisibility cannot be guaranteed, but the vertical stripe construction allows the seam to blend naturally into the folds.
COLOR DISCLAIMER
The fabric appears as creamy ivory with mushroom taupe, warm greige, beige and muted brown-grey vertical stripes.
The exact appearance may change depending on:
• Daylight
• Warm or cool interior lighting
• Camera exposure
• Screen brightness
• Monitor calibration
• Surrounding furnishings and wall colors
Under warm light, the stripes may look more beige, mushroom or pale mocha. Under cooler light, they may appear more greige, stone or brown-grey.
If exact color coordination is essential, purchasing a physical fabric swatch before ordering full custom curtains is recommended.
CARE
Professional dry cleaning is recommended, particularly for lined, extra-wide and extra-long curtains.
Do not bleach, expose to harsh stain-removing chemicals or tumble dry at high heat. Linen naturally develops soft creases. Packaging folds can generally be relaxed with careful steaming from the reverse side after installation.
