Widths shown are flat fabric widths per curtain, before gathering or pleating.

Measure for your curtains

Enter your width and height together, then apply your measurements.

Size-dropdown widths are flat fabric widths per curtain.

A gathered curtain covers less space than its flat fabric width. Choose fullness below; Grommet/Eyelet and Pinch pleats always need 2× your coverage width.

This selection also updates Heading style on the product page.

Choose your fullness

Multiply the rod / track coverage by your fullness, then divide by the number of curtains.

Photorealistic fullness examples; actual folds vary with fabric and heading.

Measure the usable span of your installed rod or track, from one end of the curtain coverage to the other. Exclude decorative finials.

A pair contains two curtains. The flat fabric width you order is per curtain, not the combined pair. Choosing a curtain count here updates Panel quantity on the product page.

Enter the full measured drop. For Hooks top only, we subtract 1 in (2.54 cm) because the curtain hangs slightly below the rod. Do not deduct it yourself.

Flat fabric width to order per curtainEnter your total coverage width above.
Finished curtain height to orderEnter the height you measured above.

Apply your measurements

We select the exact available flat-width × finished-height size, or the closest larger size fitting both dimensions. For a larger size, your exact request is added to Custom sizes / requirements, preserving your own notes. Your curtain-count choice also updates Panel quantity on the product page.

Review your heading and fullness before applying. This updates your selected size but does not add anything to your cart.

How to measure · illustrations and examples

Measure the space your curtains will cover

Measure the usable span of your installed rod or track, from one end of the curtain coverage to the other. Exclude decorative finials.

Measure the usable rod or track span—not the window glass or decorative finials.

Example: a 100 in (254 cm) rod, two curtains and 2× fullness need 100 in (254 cm) flat width per curtain.

Flat fabric width before gathering or pleating—not the hanging coverage.

Measure from the top of the rod to your chosen bottom

Measure straight down from the top of your installed curtain rod to where you want the curtains to end. For a track, use the top of the installed track.

Start at the top of the rod or track. Stop at your chosen bottom.

SOFT-WHITE RAINBOW CONFETTI EMBROIDERED PURE LINEN CURTAINS FOR NURSERY AND KIDS’ ROOMS

Add playful colour, genuine embroidered texture and the relaxed beauty of natural linen to your child’s room with these thick and heavy pure linen curtain panels.

The soft-white linen is decorated with small rainbow-coloured embroidered dashes scattered at different angles across the fabric. The tiny stitched marks resemble colourful sprinkles, pieces of confetti or miniature brushstrokes, creating a cheerful design that remains clean, airy and easy to coordinate.

These colourful embroidered curtains are designed for nurseries, baby rooms, toddler bedrooms, children’s rooms, playrooms, reading corners, creative spaces and gender-neutral interiors.

Order one individual curtain panel or a matching pair/set of two. Choose an unlined finish, an organic cotton light-filtering liner or an OEKO-TEX Standard 100-certified 100% blackout polycotton liner.

DETAILED COLOUR DESCRIPTION

PURE LINEN BACKGROUND

The base fabric is soft white.

It may also be described as:

• Muted white
• Natural soft white
• Gentle off-white
• Chalk white
• Pale neutral white

The background is softer and more natural than bright optical white. It does not have the strong yellow undertone of cream or the brown undertone of oatmeal-beige linen.

The visible linen weave creates gentle tonal variation across the surface. In bright natural daylight, the fabric may appear cleaner and lighter. Warm artificial lighting can give it a slightly softer off-white appearance.

RAINBOW-COLOURED EMBROIDERY

The embroidered dashes contain a cheerful mixture of bright and softly muted colours:

• Hot pink
• Fuchsia and magenta pink
• Violet and medium purple
• Deep purple
• Coral pink
• Soft salmon and terracotta-coral
• Bright yellow
• Lemon yellow
• Pale aqua blue
• Soft ice blue
• Deep teal blue
• Dark blue-green

The principal colour combination is:

SOFT-WHITE PURE LINEN
+
HOT PINK AND MAGENTA EMBROIDERY
+
VIOLET AND PURPLE EMBROIDERY
+
CORAL AND SALMON EMBROIDERY
+
BRIGHT YELLOW EMBROIDERY
+
PALE AQUA AND DEEP TEAL-BLUE EMBROIDERY

The word “rainbow” refers to the multicolour palette. The fabric does not contain embroidered rainbow arches.

DETAILED CONFETTI-DASH PATTERN

The design consists of small, narrow embroidered bars scattered freely across the soft-white linen.

The dashes are arranged in different directions:

• Vertical
• Horizontal
• Gently diagonal
• Slanting left or right

The varied directions and generous spacing prevent the embroidery from forming rigid rows. The result feels spontaneous and playful, like colourful sprinkles falling across a white background.

The design may be described as:

• Rainbow confetti embroidery
• Colourful sprinkle embroidery
• Scattered dash embroidery
• Abstract stitched marks
• Minimalist geometric embroidery
• Tiny embroidered brushstrokes
• Multicolour nursery embroidery

This is not a traditional polka-dot design because the individual motifs are elongated rather than circular. It is also not a striped fabric because the dashes do not connect to create continuous lines.

From across the room, the curtains appear soft white with a lively scattering of colour. At closer range, the separate stitch lines, raised embroidery, linen weave and varied dash angles become clearly visible.

The generous white spaces between the motifs keep the design fresh and uncluttered. Although the colours are bright, the sparse arrangement prevents the curtains from overwhelming the room.

GENUINE RAISED EMBROIDERY

Every coloured dash is genuinely embroidered into the linen.

The decorative pattern is not:

• Printed
• Painted
• Digitally transferred
• Woven jacquard
• Applied vinyl
• Flat imitation embroidery

Each dash contains densely worked thread with visible stitch direction, fine thread texture and slightly raised relief. Small shadows form around the edges of the embroidery as the light changes, creating a tactile appearance that cannot be achieved with a flat printed design.

Minor variations in individual stitches are normal characteristics of genuine embroidered fabric.

THICK AND HEAVY PURE LINEN

The face fabric is a substantial pure linen with a thick, heavy hand, visible woven texture and naturally structured drape.

The fabric specification is 403 grams per linear metre at a width of 54 inches. This converts to approximately 294 GSM.

Calculation:

54 inches = 1.3716 metres
403 grams ÷ 1.3716 metres = approximately 294 grams per square metre

The substantial weight allows the finished curtain panels to fall into attractive vertical folds while retaining the relaxed, organic character of linen.

Natural pure linen may contain:

• Small slubs
• Irregular yarn thickness
• Fine woven lines
• Subtle tonal variation
• Occasional natural fibre character

These are normal characteristics of genuine linen and should not be considered defects.

LINING OPTIONS

1. UNLINED

The unlined option preserves the natural movement, texture and lightest construction of the embroidered linen.

Although the linen is thick and substantial, its pale woven structure allows softened daylight to pass through. When strongly backlit, an unlined curtain may appear semi-sheer.

The unlined finish provides useful daytime privacy but is not designed for complete nighttime privacy. Silhouettes may be visible from outside when the room lights are switched on after dark.

Choose unlined curtains if you prefer:

• Natural linen movement
• Softly diffused daylight
• A semi-sheer privacy curtain
• The lightest available construction
• Visible linen character from both sides

2. ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT-FILTERING LINER

The organic cotton liner adds body, structure and greater privacy while continuing to admit a gentle natural glow.

It makes the curtain completely opaque during normal use, preventing the window and outside view from being seen through the fabric.

This option works especially well in nurseries, playrooms and children’s bedrooms where privacy is important but total darkness is unnecessary.

Choose the organic cotton liner if you prefer:

• Complete opacity
• Greater daytime and nighttime privacy
• Soft filtered natural light
• Additional curtain body
• A natural-fibre lining option

The organic cotton liner is light filtering rather than blackout.

3. OEKO-TEX-CERTIFIED 100% BLACKOUT POLYCOTTON LINER

The blackout option uses an OEKO-TEX Standard 100-certified polycotton liner composed of 50% cotton and 50% polyester.

It stops light from passing through the covered curtain fabric and is particularly suitable for:

• Nursery nap times
• Early bedtimes
• Light-sensitive children
• Rooms facing strong morning sunlight
• Bedrooms affected by streetlights
• Windows requiring maximum privacy
• Rooms where complete darkness is preferred

The blackout liner blocks the light totally through the covered fabric. However, a small amount of light may still enter around the sides, top, centre opening or bottom depending on the heading, rod or track position, curtain fullness and installation.

For the darkest result, install the rod or track above the window and extend it beyond both sides of the window frame.

The OEKO-TEX certification applies specifically to the blackout lining material.

SINGLE PANEL OR PAIR/SET OF TWO

These curtains are available as:

• One individual curtain panel
• One matching pair/set of two curtain panels

The selected width is the finished flat width of each individual panel, not the combined width of a pair.

Examples:

• One 50-inch-wide panel = 50 inches total flat width
• Pair of 50-inch-wide panels = 100 inches combined flat width
• One 100-inch-wide panel = 100 inches total flat width
• Pair of 100-inch-wide panels = 200 inches combined flat width

Listing photographs may show two curtains for styling. Please select the pair/set-of-two option if you require two finished panels.

AVAILABLE WIDTHS

• 50 inches / approximately 127 cm per curtain panel
• 100 inches / approximately 254 cm per curtain panel

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT 100-INCH-WIDE PANELS

A 100-inch-wide curtain is constructed by carefully joining two 50-inch-wide sections of the embroidered linen.

Each 100-inch-wide curtain will therefore contain one vertical joining seam near the centre. The fabric sections are joined carefully, and the embroidery is aligned wherever the repeat permits.

Once the curtain is installed and arranged into natural folds, the centre seam is barely visible.

The seam is a normal and necessary construction feature of an extra-wide curtain and is not a manufacturing defect.

When a pair of 100-inch-wide curtains is ordered, each individual curtain will contain its own centre seam.

AVAILABLE HEIGHTS

Standard finished heights are available from 36 inches to 180 inches in 12-inch increments:

• 36 inches / approximately 91 cm
• 48 inches / approximately 122 cm
• 60 inches / approximately 152 cm
• 72 inches / approximately 183 cm
• 84 inches / approximately 213 cm
• 96 inches / approximately 244 cm
• 108 inches / approximately 274 cm
• 120 inches / approximately 305 cm
• 132 inches / approximately 335 cm
• 144 inches / approximately 366 cm
• 156 inches / approximately 396 cm
• 168 inches / approximately 427 cm
• 180 inches / approximately 457 cm

CUSTOM CURTAIN SIZES

Custom widths and lengths can be made.

For a custom measurement, select the next available standard size larger than the finished size you require. Enter the exact required width and height in the order details email.

Example:

If you require one curtain measuring 76 inches wide × 90 inches long, select the 100-inch-wide × 96-inch-long option and write:

“Please make the finished curtain 76 inches W × 90 inches H.”

Please clearly state whether your measurements are in inches or centimetres.

FOUR AVAILABLE HEADING STYLES

1. HOOKS TOP

A woven heading tape is sewn across the reverse of the curtain for attaching curtain hooks.

The hooks-top heading is compatible with:

• Curtain tracks using suitable hooks or gliders
• Curtain rods fitted with rings and hooks

This is the most versatile heading option for both rods and tracks.

2. BACK TABS

Fabric tabs are sewn discreetly onto the reverse of the curtain. The rod passes through these concealed tabs, creating clean folds without visible loops across the front.

Back tabs are compatible with curtain rods but not standard curtain tracks.

3. ROD POCKET

A sewn channel across the top allows the curtain rod to pass directly through the heading.

The rod pocket creates a softly gathered appearance and works particularly well for nursery curtains, playroom curtains, cafe curtains and short window treatments.

4. GROMMETS

Metal eyelets are installed across the curtain heading, allowing the rod to pass directly through the panel.

Grommets create even contemporary folds and make the curtains easy to open and close. They are suitable for curtain rods rather than standard tracks.

PERSONALIZATION INFORMATION REQUIRED

Please provide the following information in the order details email:

• Required heading: hooks top, back tabs, rod pocket or grommets
• Required lining: unlined, organic cotton or blackout
• Exact finished width and height if ordering a custom size
• Whether the measurements are in inches or centimetres
• Any cafe-curtain request or additional instructions

Personalization example:

Finished size: 50 inches W × 84 inches H
Order: Pair/set of two
Heading: Hooks top
Lining: 100% blackout
Additional notes: None

MEASURING AND CURTAIN FULLNESS

Measure the complete width of your curtain rod or track rather than only the window glass.

For a softly gathered appearance, the combined flat width of the curtains is commonly approximately 1.5 times the covered width. For deeper and fuller folds, select approximately twice the covered width.

For example, a pair of 50-inch-wide panels provides 100 inches of combined flat fabric width.

Measure the required height from the intended hanging position to the point where you want the curtain to finish. Hooks top, back tabs, rod pockets and grommets sit differently on a rod or track, so please consider the selected heading while measuring.

CUSTOM CAFE CURTAINS

This embroidered linen can also be made as cafe curtains, kitchen cafe curtains, tier curtains, valances or short window curtains.

The bright rainbow-confetti embroidery is especially attractive on cafe curtains for:

• Nursery windows
• Playrooms
• Reading corners
• Craft rooms
• Creative studios
• Kitchen windows
• Breakfast rooms
• Small bathroom windows

For a custom cafe-curtain size, select the smallest standard option large enough to cover the required dimensions. Enter the exact finished width, length, heading and liner choice in the order details email.

For example, for a 47-inch-wide × 15-inch-long cafe curtain, select 50 inches W × 36 inches H and request the exact 47-inch × 15-inch finished size in Personalization.

SUITABLE FOR

• Nursery curtains
• Kids’ room curtains
• Baby girl or baby boy rooms
• Gender-neutral nurseries
• Colourful playrooms
• Rainbow nursery decor
• Creative and craft rooms
• Modern children’s interiors
• Minimalist kids’ rooms
• Scandinavian nursery decor
• Custom blackout curtains
• Light-filtering curtain panels
• Extra-long curtains
• Extra-wide curtain panels
• Cafe curtains and tier curtains

IMPORTANT NOTES

• Pattern placement varies according to the selected width and height.

• The exact positions, colours and angles of the embroidered dashes may differ between curtains because every panel is cut from a larger fabric repeat.

• Some motifs may be partially cropped at the side edges, heading, hem or joining seam.

• Exact embroidery matching cannot be guaranteed between two separate panels.

• The dashes are genuine raised embroidery rather than printed marks.

• Small variations in individual stitches are natural characteristics of embroidered fabric.

• Pure linen may contain slubs, fine woven lines and yarn-thickness variations.

• A 100-inch-wide curtain contains one carefully finished vertical centre seam, which becomes barely visible among the installed folds.

• Colours may vary slightly due to daylight, artificial lighting, photography, screen calibration and surrounding wall colours.

• The organic cotton liner makes the curtain opaque but does not provide complete darkness.

• The blackout liner prevents light from passing through the covered fabric, although installation gaps may permit some peripheral light.

• Please confirm whether you have selected one panel or a pair/set of two before completing the order.
