1. Measure the exact width and height required.
2. Select the width range containing your required width.
3. Select the height range containing your required height.

5. Mention whether your blind will be installed INSIDE RECESS or OUTSIDE RECESS.

The Roman shade will be manufactured according to the EXACT measurements entered in the order details email, not simply according to the upper or lower measurement of the selected size range.

HOW TO MEASURE – INSIDE RECESS INSTALLATION

An inside-recess Roman shade is installed inside the window opening for a clean and integrated appearance.

1. Measure the exact internal width of your window recess at the top where the Roman blind will be installed.

2. Measure the exact height of the recess from the top installation point to the required bottom position.

3. Use a rigid metal measuring tape wherever possible for accurate measurements.

4. Enter the exact recess width and exact recess height in the order details email.

5. Write “Inside Recess” in the order details email.

Please provide the actual recess measurements. Do not make your own deductions unless specifically discussed with us beforehand.

HOW TO MEASURE – OUTSIDE RECESS INSTALLATION

An outside-recess Roman blind is mounted outside and over the window opening.

For good coverage we recommend adding approximately:

2 inches / 5 cm to the LEFT side

2 inches / 5 cm to the RIGHT side

This gives approximately 4 inches / 10 cm additional overall width.

For height, measure from approximately 4 inches / 10 cm above the top of the window frame down to the point where you would like the Roman shade to finish.

The additional overlap offered by an outside-recess installation can improve privacy and reduce light entering around the sides of a blackout Roman blind.
