LINING OPTIONS

1. Unlined

The unlined option creates a semi-sheer privacy curtain that gently filters natural light while retaining the linen’s relaxed texture and natural drape.

Some silhouettes may remain visible at night when the room is illuminated. The amount of transparency will depend on the strength and direction of the light.

2. Organic cotton light-filtering liner

The organic cotton liner adds body, privacy and softness while still allowing filtered natural light into the room.

It makes the curtain completely opaque so the view through the fabric is concealed, but it is not intended to create complete darkness. This option works well for nurseries and children’s bedrooms where privacy is required without eliminating all daylight.

3. Total blackout liner

The blackout option uses an OEKO-TEX Standard 100-certified polycotton liner designed to block light completely through the covered curtain fabric.

This option is particularly suitable for nursery naps, early bedtimes, light-sensitive sleepers and rooms affected by early morning sunlight or street lighting.

For the most effective blackout result, the curtains should extend beyond the sides and top of the window. Small amounts of light may still enter around the edges, above the curtain rod or between two panels if the window is not sufficiently overlapped.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT 100-INCH WIDTHS

Every individual 100-inch-wide curtain will be constructed by joining two 50-inch-wide fabric sections. This creates one vertical seam near the centre of the finished curtain.

The joining seam is carefully finished and is barely visible once the curtain has been installed and arranged into natural folds. This construction is necessary because of the available fabric width and is not considered a defect.

CURTAIN FULLNESS

The listed widths are finished flat widths before gathering or arranging the curtains into folds.

For suitable coverage and attractive gathering, the combined curtain width is generally around 1.5 to 2 times the width of the curtain rod or track. Select additional width if you prefer especially deep, abundant folds.

HEADING STYLES

Choose from four heading styles:

• Hooks top — suitable for both curtain rods and curtain tracks
• Back tabs — concealed fabric tabs create clean, softly gathered folds
• Rod pocket — the curtain rod passes directly through a sewn fabric pocket
