LINING OPTIONS

1. Unlined

The unlined linen works as a semi-sheer privacy curtain. It gently filters daylight, softens the view through the window and keeps the fabric’s natural drape and texture visible.

Because the unlined option is semi-sheer, some silhouettes may remain visible at night when the room is illuminated. The amount of transparency will also vary according to the strength and direction of the light.

2. Organic cotton light-filtering liner

The organic cotton liner adds extra body, privacy and softness while still allowing filtered natural light into the room. It makes the curtain completely opaque so the view through the fabric is concealed, but it is not intended to create complete darkness.

This is a lovely option for nurseries and children’s bedrooms where privacy is important but a soft daytime glow is still desired.

3. Total blackout liner

The 100% blackout option uses an OEKO-TEX Standard 100-certified polycotton blackout liner. It blocks light through the covered curtain fabric and is designed for complete darkness, making it especially suitable for nursery naps, early bedtimes, light-sensitive sleepers and rooms affected by streetlights.

For the best room-darkening result, the curtains should extend beyond the sides and top of the window. Small amounts of light may enter around the edges, above the rod or between panels if the window is not fully overlapped.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT 100-INCH WIDTHS

Every individual 100-inch-wide curtain will be made by joining two 50-inch-wide fabric sections. This creates one vertical seam near the center of the finished curtain.

The seam is carefully finished and is barely visible after the curtain is installed and arranged into natural folds. This construction is necessary because of the available fabric width and is not considered a defect.

CURTAIN FULLNESS

The listed widths are finished flat fabric widths before gathering or forming folds.

For ordinary coverage, the combined curtain width is commonly approximately 1.5 to 2 times the width of the rod or track. For dense, luxurious folds similar to styled curtain photographs, consider a combined width of approximately 2.75 to 3 times the rod or track width.

HEADING STYLES

Choose from four heading styles:

• Hooks top — compatible with both curtain rods and curtain tracks
• Back tabs — concealed fabric tabs create soft, even folds on a rod
• Rod pocket — the rod passes directly through the sewn pocket
• Grommets — metal eyelets provide an easy-gliding contemporary finish
