These custom nursery curtains are available unlined, with an organic cotton light-filtering liner or with an OEKO-TEX Standard 100-certified polycotton blackout liner.

COLOR AND EMBROIDERED PATTERN

The base fabric is a soft white with a fine, visible linen weave. Across the fabric are scattered winged insects embroidered in several distinctive color combinations:

• Slender dragonflies in pale aqua, powder blue, denim blue and deep blue
• Small lemon-yellow spots along the blue wings
• Brown embroidered bodies and delicate antennae
• Butterfly and moth-like motifs with vivid pink and magenta upper wings
• Coral, chocolate brown and pale aqua lower-wing details
• Purple circular wing markings and tiny yellow accents
• Additional butterfly forms combining aqua, pink, yellow, coral and blue

The embroidery is intentionally scattered with plenty of open white space between the motifs. This creates a whimsical but uncluttered design suitable for colorful nurseries, nature-themed bedrooms, butterfly rooms, insect-themed playrooms and imaginative children’s interiors.

This is genuine dimensional embroidery stitched into the linen. The motifs have visible thread direction, softly raised texture and subtle stitch variation; they are not printed or painted onto the fabric.

THICK AND HEAVY LINEN

The substantial linen fabric has a naturally textured weave, attractive weight and an elegant drape. It is suitable for full-length nursery curtains, extra-long window panels and wide custom drapes.

The fabric weighs 403 grams per linear metre at a fabric width of 54 inches. This converts to approximately 294 GSM.

QUANTITY OPTIONS

The curtains are available as:

• One pair or set of two matching curtain panels

The selected width refers to the finished flat width of each individual curtain piece before gathering.

Examples:

• One 50-inch-wide panel provides 50 inches of total flat width
• A pair of 50-inch-wide panels provides 100 inches of total flat width
• One 100-inch-wide panel provides 100 inches of total flat width
• A pair of 100-inch-wide panels provides 200 inches of total flat width

LINING OPTIONS

1. Unlined

The unlined curtain is a semi-sheer privacy curtain that gently filters natural daylight and creates a soft, relaxed appearance.

Some silhouettes may remain visible at night when the room is illuminated. The exact transparency will depend on the strength and direction of the light.

2. Organic cotton light-filtering liner

The organic cotton liner provides additional privacy, structure and softness while continuing to filter daylight.

This lining makes the curtain completely opaque, so the view through the fabric is concealed, but it does not produce complete darkness. It is a suitable choice when privacy is required without removing all natural light.

3. Total blackout liner

The blackout option uses an OEKO-TEX Standard 100-certified polycotton liner designed to block light completely through the covered curtain fabric.

This option is especially suitable for nursery naps, early bedtimes, light-sensitive sleepers and bedrooms affected by streetlights or early morning sunlight.

For the best blackout result, the curtains should extend beyond the top and sides of the window. Light may still enter around the curtain edges, above the rod or through the space between two panels if the window is not sufficiently overlapped.

IMPORTANT 100-INCH WIDTH INFORMATION

Each individual 100-inch-wide curtain will be made by joining two 50-inch-wide fabric sections. This construction creates one vertical seam near the middle of the finished curtain.

The seam is carefully finished and is barely visible after the curtain has been installed and arranged into natural folds. It is a normal part of constructing the 100-inch width and is not considered a defect.

CURTAIN FULLNESS

The listed widths are finished flat widths before the curtains are gathered or arranged into folds.

For suitable coverage and attractive gathering, the combined curtain width is generally around 1.5 to 2 times the width of the curtain rod or track. Additional fabric may be selected when a denser, more luxurious gathered appearance is desired.

HEADING STYLES

Choose from four heading styles:

• Hooks top — suitable for both curtain rods and curtain tracks
• Back tabs — concealed fabric tabs create clean, softly gathered folds
• Rod pocket — the rod passes directly through a sewn fabric pocket
• Grommets — metal eyelets provide an easy-gliding modern heading
