The selected width refers to the finished flat width of each individual curtain panel. It is not the combined width of a pair and is not automatically the same as the window width.

For attractive gathering, the combined flat width of the curtains should be greater than the width of the pole or track being covered.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT 100-INCH-WIDE CURTAINS

Every 100-inch-wide curtain panel will be made by professionally joining two approximately 50-inch-wide sections of printed velvet.

This creates one vertical joining seam within the completed 100-inch-wide curtain.

The seam is carefully sewn and becomes barely visible after the curtain is installed, gathered and arranged into its natural folds.

This joining seam is a normal and necessary feature of an extra-wide 100-inch curtain panel and should not be considered a defect.

1. Measure the exact finished curtain width and length required.
2. Select the next available standard width and length that are equal to or larger than your required dimensions.
3. Enter the exact finished measurements in the Etsy order details email.
4. State clearly whether the dimensions are in inches or centimeters.
5. If ordering a pair, confirm whether the stated custom width is required for each individual panel.

For example:

If one finished curtain needs to measure 76 inches wide × 90 inches long, select the 100-inch width and 96-inch length. Enter the exact required size of 76 inches wide × 90 inches long in the order details email.

The selected standard size must be large enough to accommodate the requested custom measurements.

LINING OPTIONS

Choose from the following three finishes:

1. UNLINED

The unlined curtain is the lightest available finish and allows softly diffused daylight to pass through the printed velvet.

When placed against strong backlighting, the fabric may display a subtle semi-sheer effect. It provides a useful level of daytime privacy but does not provide complete nighttime privacy when the room is brightly illuminated from inside.

Choose the unlined option if you prefer:

• The natural appearance of the printed velvet
• Softly filtered daylight
• A lighter curtain construction
• A gentle semi-sheer effect under strong backlighting
• A relaxed decorative window treatment
• The reverse of the velvet to remain visible

2. ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT-FILTERING LINER

The organic cotton liner gives the curtains additional privacy, body and structure while continuing to admit softly diffused natural light.

It makes the curtains completely opaque in ordinary use, preventing a direct view through the window covering while allowing the room to retain a gentle daylight glow.

Choose the organic cotton liner if you prefer:

The organic cotton liner is light filtering, not blackout. The room will remain softly lit during daylight hours.

Choose the blackout lining for nursery nap times, early bedtimes or any room requiring maximum darkness.

The blackout liner is made from:

• 50% cotton
• 50% polyester

It is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified and tested for harmful substances.

The lining blocks incoming light completely through the curtain fabric and creates fabric-level 100% blackout when the curtains are fully closed.

This lining is particularly useful for:

• Daytime nursery naps
• Early children’s bedtimes
• Rooms receiving strong sunlight
• Reducing early-morning light
• Maximum nighttime privacy
• Creating a darker sleeping environment
• Adding further structure and weight

Although the lining blocks light completely through the material, small amounts of light may still enter around the outer edges, above the pole or through installation gaps. Overall room darkness also depends on curtain width, fullness, heading style and installation.

FOUR AVAILABLE HEADING STYLES

The required heading must be entered in the Etsy order details email.

1. HOOKS TOP

A woven heading tape is sewn securely across the back of the curtain.

Hooks top curtains are compatible with:

• Curtain rods when used with suitable rings and hooks
• Curtain tracks when used with suitable track gliders and hooks

This is a versatile option for customers using either a pole or track system.

2. BACK TABS

Hidden fabric tabs are sewn across the back of the curtain. The pole passes through the concealed tabs, leaving the hanging construction invisible from the front.

Back tabs create a clean appearance with soft and evenly spaced folds.

3. ROD POCKET

A fabric channel is sewn across the top of the curtain. The curtain pole passes directly through this channel.

Rod-pocket curtains create a softly gathered appearance and are particularly suitable for decorative panels and short cafe curtains.

4. GROMMETS

Metal grommets or eyelets are installed across the curtain heading. The pole passes directly through the grommets.

This style creates broad contemporary folds and generally allows the curtain to move more freely along the pole than a rod-pocket or back-tab heading.
