HOW TO MEASURE — INSIDE RECESS / INSIDE MOUNT

An inside-recess Roman shade fits inside the window opening for a clean and integrated appearance.

STEP 1 — WIDTH

Measure the exact internal width of the recess at the TOP where the Roman blind will be fitted.

Also check the middle and bottom to make sure the opening does not become narrower.

Enter the exact recess measurement.

Please do not make your own manufacturing deduction unless specifically requested by us.

STEP 2 — HEIGHT

Measure the exact internal height from the top of the recess to the required bottom position.

Check the left, centre and right sides if your window is not perfectly square.

An outside-recess Roman shade is fitted over the window opening.

This provides additional coverage around the window.

STEP 1 — MEASURE WINDOW WIDTH

Measure the width of your window or window frame.

STEP 2 — ADD SIDE OVERLAP

Where sufficient wall space is available, add approximately:

2 inches / 5 cm on the LEFT

and

2 inches / 5 cm on the RIGHT.

This adds approximately:

to the overall width.

OUTSIDE-MOUNT EXAMPLE
