Custom made thick pure linen Roman shade / Roman blind in a rich slate blue gray base with raised ivory embroidery. The fabric has an elegant damask inspired botanical pattern with large embroidered palmette motifs, scrolling acanthus leaves and a vintage floral medallion look. The woven linen background has a beautiful natural texture, while the ivory embroidery adds depth, softness and a refined handcrafted finish.

A non toxic blackout liner made from 50% cotton and 50% polyester. This liner blocks light completely and is ideal for bedrooms, nurseries, kids rooms, media rooms and any space where darkness and privacy are needed.

HOW TO MEASURE FOR INSIDE RECESS INSTALLATION
Inside recess means the Roman blind will fit within the window frame.

1. Measure the inside width of your window recess at the top, middle and bottom.

2. Use the smallest width measurement.

3. Measure the inside height of the recess from top to bottom at the left, middle and right side.

4. Use the longest height measurement.

5. Enter the exact width and height in the order details email.

6. Select the width and length range that includes your measurements.

Best for: a clean built in look, minimal projection from the wall and windows with enough recess depth.

HOW TO MEASURE FOR OUTSIDE RECESS INSTALLATION
Outside recess means the Roman blind will be fitted on the wall or frame outside the window opening.

1. Measure the full window opening width.

2. Add extra width on both sides for better coverage and privacy. We usually recommend adding 2–4 inches / 5–10 cm on each side where space allows.

3. Measure from where you want the blind to start above the window to where you want it to finish below the window.

4. Add extra height above the window if you want the folded blind to sit higher when raised.

5. Enter the final exact width and height in the order details email.

6. Select the width and length range that includes your final measurements.

Best for: better light coverage, blackout performance, larger looking windows and covering window trims.
