Measure for your curtains

Enter your width and height together, then apply your measurements.

Size-dropdown widths are flat fabric widths per curtain.

A gathered curtain covers less space than its flat fabric width. Choose fullness below; Grommet/Eyelet and Pinch pleats always need 2× your coverage width.

This selection also updates Heading style on the product page.

Choose your fullness

Multiply the rod / track coverage by your fullness, then divide by the number of curtains.

Photorealistic fullness examples; actual folds vary with fabric and heading.

Measure the usable span of your installed rod or track, from one end of the curtain coverage to the other. Exclude decorative finials.

A pair contains two curtains. The flat fabric width you order is per curtain, not the combined pair. Choosing a curtain count here updates Panel quantity on the product page.

Enter the full measured drop. For Hooks top only, we subtract 1 in (2.54 cm) because the curtain hangs slightly below the rod. Do not deduct it yourself.

Finished curtain height to orderEnter the height you measured above.

Apply your measurements

We select the exact available flat-width × finished-height size, or the closest larger size fitting both dimensions. For a larger size, your exact request is added to Custom sizes / requirements, preserving your own notes. Your curtain-count choice also updates Panel quantity on the product page.

Review your heading and fullness before applying. This updates your selected size but does not add anything to your cart.

How to measure · illustrations and examples

Measure the space your curtains will cover

Measure the usable span of your installed rod or track, from one end of the curtain coverage to the other. Exclude decorative finials.

Measure the usable rod or track span—not the window glass or decorative finials.

Example: a 100 in (254 cm) rod, two curtains and 2× fullness need 100 in (254 cm) flat width per curtain.

Flat fabric width before gathering or pleating—not the hanging coverage.

Measure from the top of the rod to your chosen bottom

Measure straight down from the top of your installed curtain rod to where you want the curtains to end. For a track, use the top of the installed track.

Start at the top of the rod or track. Stop at your chosen bottom.

Silver Grey & Blush Pure Linen Embroidered Curtains, Champagne Geometric Trellis, Custom Extra Long Blackout Drapes

SILVER GREY & BLUSH PURE LINEN EMBROIDERED CURTAINS WITH CHAMPAGNE GEOMETRIC TRELLIS

Bring sophisticated neutral colour, substantial natural texture and elegant embroidered detail to your windows with these custom-made thick and heavy pure linen curtains.

This distinctive fabric combines a soft ivory to warm off-white pure linen ground with a misty abstract background in dove grey, pearl grey, silver grey, pale greige and softly weathered neutral tones. Subtle dusty blush and muted rose accents appear throughout the background, adding gentle warmth without making the curtains strongly pink.

Across this softly painterly base is a large-scale embroidered geometric trellis made from elongated hexagonal and diamond-like forms.

The embroidery itself is beautifully multitone rather than one solid colour. Individual sections shift between champagne beige, warm taupe, mushroom grey, dusty blush, muted rose and pale mauve. This changing palette gives the geometric lattice a sophisticated hand-worked appearance and creates considerable depth when the curtains are viewed from different angles.

The overall colour effect is best described as:

Silver Grey + Dove Grey + Blush + Champagne Beige + Warm Taupe

The grey tones are clearly dominant within the abstract background. They are soft, muted and sophisticated rather than dark charcoal.

These curtains work especially well in neutral, contemporary, transitional, modern organic, quiet luxury, soft glam and sophisticated bedroom or living-room interiors.

They can be purchased as:

• One single curtain panel
• A pair / set of 2 matching curtain panels

Choose from:

• Unlined
• Organic cotton light-filtering lined
• 100% blackout OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified polycotton lined

COLOUR DESCRIPTION

MAIN LINEN GROUND

The underlying pure linen fabric is a soft warm ivory to natural off-white.

It is not a stark optical white.

The visible linen weave has subtle cream and natural flax undertones, creating a softer and more refined base for the embroidered design.

ABSTRACT BACKGROUND COLOURS

The softly blurred background contains tones of:

• Dove grey
• Pearl grey
• Silver grey
• Mist grey
• Pale greige
• Mushroom grey
• Warm ivory
• Soft taupe
• Dusty blush
• Muted rose

The grey colouring is deliberately subtle and layered rather than one completely flat shade.

Some portions are slightly cooler silver-grey, while other areas lean warmer towards greige or mushroom.

The dusty blush colour is subtle and appears as softly faded areas within the abstract background rather than as a bright pink print.

The effect resembles a loose watercolour or softly weathered painted surface.

EMBROIDERY COLOURS

The raised embroidered geometric trellis contains a sophisticated combination of:

• Champagne beige
• Warm taupe
• Mushroom
• Pale gold-beige
• Dusty blush
• Muted rose
• Pale mauve
• Soft grey-beige
• Natural flax

Sections of the embroidered line change colour as the trellis travels across the fabric.

This creates an artisan-style multitone effect instead of one continuous solid-colour geometric line.

Some stitched areas are warm champagne and taupe, while others contain subtle blush or mauve accents.

Because embroidery reflects light differently depending on stitch direction, some sections may appear lighter, warmer or slightly more lustrous at different viewing angles.

OVERALL COLOUR EFFECT

From normal viewing distance, these curtains read primarily as:

Soft Silver Grey + Ivory + Champagne Beige

with subtle:

Blush Pink + Taupe + Mauve accents.

They should not be described as green, sage or olive.

Depending on the room lighting, the background may appear:

• Silver grey
• Dove grey
• Mist grey
• Soft greige
• Pearl grey
• Warm ivory-grey

The embroidery may appear:

• Champagne
• Taupe
• Beige
• Dusty blush
• Muted rose
• Pale mauve

The overall result is calm, elegant and softly coloured rather than bold or highly contrasting.

GEOMETRIC TRELLIS PATTERN

The most prominent structural feature of the fabric is the oversized embroidered geometric lattice.

The pattern contains:

• Elongated hexagons
• Linked diamonds
• Tall angular frames
• Interlocking geometric forms
• Repeating architectural lines
• Large symmetrical trellis shapes

The elongated geometric forms run vertically and interconnect across the width of the fabric.

The design has elements of:

• Contemporary geometric decor
• Modern trellis patterns
• Transitional interior styling
• Art Deco-inspired geometry
• Quiet luxury interiors
• Soft-glam decor
• Modern organic styling

The structure of the embroidery provides a strong architectural pattern, while the softly blurred grey and blush background keeps the design from feeling too rigid.

This balance makes the curtains suitable for both highly contemporary homes and softer transitional spaces.

REAL EMBROIDERED DETAIL

The geometric trellis is embroidered directly onto the linen face fabric.

It is not simply printed onto the surface.

When viewed closely, you can see the raised embroidered threads and the individual changes in stitch direction.

This provides:

• Raised tactile detail
• Greater dimensionality
• A substantial designer appearance
• Natural variation in light reflection
• Additional structure
• A more luxurious surface than a simple printed curtain

The alternating champagne, taupe, blush and mauve embroidery gives the trellis a particularly distinctive textile character.

PURE LINEN FACE FABRIC

These curtains are made from thick and heavy pure linen face fabric.

The linen provides:

• Natural woven texture
• Organic character
• Visible linen grain
• Substantial weight
• Attractive draping
• A refined but relaxed appearance

Natural pure linen may contain:

• Slubs
• Small yarn irregularities
• Fine thick-and-thin fibres
• Natural textural variation
• Occasional visible woven imperfections

These are expected characteristics of genuine linen and should not be considered defects.

The embroidered design may also have tiny natural stitch variations.

These characteristics contribute to the rich textile appearance of the finished curtains.

FABRIC WEIGHT

The embroidered pure linen face fabric weighs 403 grams per linear metre at a fabric width of 54 inches.

54 inches equals approximately 1.3716 metres.

The conversion to GSM is:

403 grams ÷ 1.3716 square metres = approximately 294 grams per square metre.

The pure linen embroidered face fabric therefore weighs approximately:

294 GSM

This is a substantial and heavy linen curtain fabric.

The approximately 294 GSM construction provides considerably more body than lightweight linen while still retaining the beautiful natural movement associated with linen fibres.

Adding either lining option will further increase the weight and structure of the finished curtains.

SINGLE PANEL OR PAIR / SET OF 2

These curtains can be purchased as:

SINGLE PANEL

You will receive one curtain panel in the width and height selected.

PAIR / SET OF 2

You will receive two matching curtain panels.

Each curtain in the pair will be made in the width and height selected.

IMPORTANT:

The width shown in the listing is the FLAT FINISHED WIDTH OF EACH INDIVIDUAL PANEL BEFORE GATHERING.

Examples:

One 50-inch-wide curtain:
50 inches total flat width.

Pair of 50-inch-wide curtains:
50 inches wide each.
100 inches combined flat width.

One 100-inch-wide curtain:
100 inches total flat width.

Pair of 100-inch-wide curtains:
100 inches wide each.
200 inches combined flat width.

Please remember that curtains occupy less horizontal space after they have been gathered into folds on the curtain rod or track.

AVAILABLE WIDTHS

Standard finished widths:

• 50 inches / approximately 127 cm per curtain
• 100 inches / approximately 254 cm per curtain

These widths refer to the flat finished measurement of EACH curtain panel.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT 100-INCH-WIDE CURTAINS

Every 100-inch-wide curtain panel will be made by joining two approximately 50-inch-wide fabric sections.

There will therefore be one vertical joining seam near the centre of every 100-inch-wide curtain.

This seam is carefully sewn and is usually barely visible once the curtains are:

• Installed
• Gathered
• Arranged into natural folds
• Viewed from a normal distance

Joining two fabric widths is necessary because the original embroidered linen fabric is produced in a limited loom width.

If you purchase:

ONE 100-INCH-WIDE PANEL

That individual curtain will contain one joining seam.

A PAIR OF 100-INCH-WIDE PANELS

Each individual curtain will contain its own joining seam.

We will align the geometric trellis across the joined fabric widths as carefully as reasonably possible.

However, absolutely exact continuation of every embroidered section cannot always be guaranteed because the result depends on:

• Embroidery repeat
• Finished curtain width
• Finished curtain height
• Position from which the fabric is cut
• Heading construction

Once gathered into folds, the joining seam is normally very difficult to notice.

AVAILABLE HEIGHTS

Standard finished curtain heights are available from 36 inches to 180 inches in 12-inch increments:

• 36 inches / approximately 91 cm
• 48 inches / approximately 122 cm
• 60 inches / approximately 152 cm
• 72 inches / approximately 183 cm
• 84 inches / approximately 213 cm
• 96 inches / approximately 244 cm
• 108 inches / approximately 274 cm
• 120 inches / approximately 305 cm
• 132 inches / approximately 335 cm
• 144 inches / approximately 366 cm
• 156 inches / approximately 396 cm
• 168 inches / approximately 427 cm
• 180 inches / approximately 457 cm

The extensive height range makes these curtains suitable for:

• Standard windows
• Living-room windows
• Bedroom windows
• Dining-room windows
• French doors
• Large picture windows
• Sliding doors
• Floor-to-ceiling windows
• Tall windows
• Loft apartments
• High ceilings
• Double-height rooms
• Two-storey spaces
• Extra-long window treatments

CUSTOM CURTAIN SIZES

Custom curtain widths and heights are available.

If your required dimensions are not listed, select the NEXT STANDARD SIZE UP and write your exact finished measurements in the order details email.

EXAMPLE:

Required finished curtain size:

46 inches wide × 90 inches high per panel

Select:

50 inches wide × 96 inches high

Then write:

Finished Size Required: 46 inches wide × 90 inches high per panel
Quantity: Pair
Heading: Back Tabs
Lining: Organic Cotton Light Filtering

Always select the next larger listed option.

Please do not select a listed size smaller than the measurements you require because enough fabric must be included in the purchased option to make your customised finished size.

Please clearly specify whether your measurements are in:

INCHES

or

CENTIMETRES.

LINING OPTIONS

These curtains are available with three lining options:

1. UNLINED
2. ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT-FILTERING LINER
3. 100% BLACKOUT OEKO-TEX CERTIFIED POLYCOTTON LINER

Your selected liner must be entered in the order details email when ordering.

1. UNLINED

The unlined option retains the most natural appearance and drape of the embroidered pure linen fabric.

When unlined, these curtains are semi-sheer privacy curtains.

Although the fabric itself is thick and substantial, daylight can still pass through natural linen when it is strongly backlit.

The level of transparency will depend on:

• Strength of sunlight
• Direction of sunlight
• Time of day
• Curtain fullness
• Interior lighting
• Distance between the window and curtain
• Whether the fabric is being viewed from inside or outside

During daytime use, the unlined curtains soften the view through the window while still allowing pleasant natural daylight into the room.

At night, particularly when room lights are switched on, silhouettes or shadows may be visible from outside.

Choose UNLINED if you want:

• The most natural linen appearance
• Maximum visibility of the embroidery
• Soft filtered daylight
• Semi-sheer privacy
• A lighter finished curtain
• Natural relaxed draping
• Decorative living-room curtains
• Curtains layered with an existing blind or Roman shade

For complete visual privacy, choose one of the lined options.

2. ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT-FILTERING LINER

The organic cotton light-filtering liner is ideal when you want increased privacy and complete visual opacity without making the room completely dark.

Once the cotton liner is added, the finished curtain becomes completely opaque under normal use.

The embroidered face fabric will no longer appear semi-sheer.

The organic cotton liner:

• Makes the curtain opaque
• Provides increased daytime privacy
• Provides increased nighttime privacy
• Softens incoming daylight
• Diffuses strong sunlight
• Adds body
• Supports the substantial linen fabric
• Creates fuller curtain folds
• Gives the curtain a richer and more structured drape

This option is particularly suitable for:

• Living rooms
• Dining rooms
• Bedrooms
• Guest rooms
• Nurseries
• Home offices
• Street-facing rooms
• Rooms where privacy is important

Please note:

The organic cotton liner is LIGHT FILTERING rather than blackout.

Natural daylight will still enter through the completed curtain, but it will be significantly softened and diffused.

Choose this option when you want:

COMPLETE OPACITY + PRIVACY + SOFT NATURAL LIGHT

3. 100% BLACKOUT OEKO-TEX CERTIFIED LINER

Choose the blackout liner where maximum light control is required.

The blackout liner is a non-toxic OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified polycotton fabric composed of:

• 50% Cotton
• 50% Polyester

The blackout liner completely prevents light from passing directly THROUGH the body of the curtain.

This gives the finished curtain complete fabric opacity.

The blackout option is particularly suitable for:

• Bedrooms
• Nurseries
• Children’s rooms
• Guest bedrooms
• Media rooms
• Home cinemas
• Shift workers
• Street-facing bedrooms
• Rooms receiving strong direct sunlight
• Rooms where darkness is important for sleep

Please note the distinction between blackout FABRIC and the complete blackout of a ROOM.

The lining blocks light passing through the curtain itself.

However, light may still enter:

• Above the curtain
• Around the outside edges
• Below the curtain
• Through the centre opening between two panels

This depends on the installation.

For the darkest possible result:

• Use generous curtain fullness
• Extend the rod or track beyond the window sides
• Install the curtains higher than the window opening
• Allow two panels to overlap slightly at the centre
• Ensure the curtains fully cover the window height
• Position the curtains reasonably close to the wall

AVAILABLE HEADING STYLES

Four heading styles are available:

• Hooks Top
• Back Tabs
• Rod Pocket
• Grommets

Please enter your required heading style in the order details email.

HOOKS TOP

Hooks Top is compatible with both:

• Curtain tracks
• Curtain rods fitted with rings

For curtain tracks:

The hooks attach to the track runners or gliders.

For rods:

The hooks attach to suitable rings fitted around the curtain rod.

Hooks Top is particularly suitable for:

• Ceiling-mounted tracks
• Wall-mounted tracks
• Decorative curtain rods with rings
• Frequently opened curtains
• Wide windows
• Extra-long curtains
• Floor-to-ceiling curtains

This is the most versatile heading option.

BACK TABS

Back tabs are fabric loops sewn onto the reverse side of the curtain heading.

The curtain rod passes through these hidden tabs.

When viewed from the front, most of the rod remains concealed.

Back-tab curtains create:

• Soft structured folds
• Minimal visible hardware
• A clean tailored appearance
• A modern and elegant look

Back tabs require a curtain rod.

They are not intended for direct installation onto a standard curtain track.

ROD POCKET

A sewn fabric channel runs across the top of the curtain.

The curtain rod slides directly through this channel.

Rod-pocket curtains create:

• Soft gathered folds
• A relaxed appearance
• Minimal visible hardware
• A classic and versatile heading style

Rod pockets are especially suitable for:

• Living-room curtains
• Bedroom curtains
• Decorative panels
• Smaller windows
• Short curtains
• Cafe curtains

Please ensure that your curtain rod diameter is suitable for the rod-pocket opening.

GROMMETS

Grommets, also known as eyelets, are rings installed across the top of the curtain.

The curtain rod passes directly through these rings.

Grommet curtains create:

• Broad wave-like folds
• An even contemporary appearance
• Easy opening and closing
• Visible decorative hardware
• A more structured modern look

Grommet curtains require a curtain rod rather than a standard curtain track.

CURTAIN FULLNESS

The selected curtain width is the FLAT finished width before gathering.

To create attractive folds, the total combined curtain width should normally be greater than the usable width of the curtain rod or track.

General guide:

1.5 × FULLNESS

Creates a softer, more relaxed contemporary appearance.

2 × FULLNESS

Creates deeper, fuller and more luxurious folds.

EXAMPLE:

Curtain rod width:
50 inches

Pair of 50-inch-wide curtains:
100 inches combined flat width

This gives approximately 2 × fullness.

Another example:

Curtain rod width:
100 inches

Pair of 100-inch-wide curtains:
200 inches combined flat width

This also gives approximately 2 × fullness.

The amount of fullness noticeably changes the appearance of this large geometric embroidered design.

With MORE fullness:

• Curtains look richer
• Folds are deeper
• Portions of the geometric design move into the folds

With LESS fullness:

• Curtains hang flatter
• More complete geometric shapes remain visible

HOW TO MEASURE CURTAIN WIDTH

1. Measure the usable curtain rod or track width.
2. Exclude decorative finials.
3. Decide whether you want approximately 1.5 × or 2 × fullness.
4. Multiply the usable width by the desired fullness.
5. Divide the total by the number of curtain panels required.

EXAMPLE:

Usable rod width:
80 inches

Desired fullness:
2 ×

80 × 2 = 160 inches recommended combined curtain width.

A pair of 100-inch-wide panels provides 200 inches combined flat width and therefore gives generous fullness.

HOW TO MEASURE CURTAIN HEIGHT

Measure from the top of the installed curtain rod or track to where you want the curtains to end. For Hooks top only, subtract 1 in (2.54 cm) once from this measurement because the curtains hang slightly below the rod. Do not deduct or add an allowance for other heading styles.

HOOKS TOP:

Measure from the top of the installed curtain rod or track to where you want the curtains to end. For Hooks top only, subtract 1 in (2.54 cm) once from this measurement because the curtains hang slightly below the rod.

BACK TABS:

Measure from the top of the curtain rod.

Possible finished lengths include:

• Window-sill length
• Below-sill length
• Apron length
• Floor length
• Just touching the floor
• Slightly puddling on the floor

For floor-length curtains, we recommend measuring in several places because rods and floors are not always perfectly level.

CUSTOM CAFE CURTAINS

We can also make custom cafe curtains from this same silver-grey and blush embroidered pure linen fabric.

Cafe curtains are shorter curtains designed primarily to cover the lower part of a window while leaving the upper portion open for natural daylight.

They are particularly suitable for:

• Kitchen windows
• Breakfast nooks
• Breakfast rooms
• Dining areas
• Bathrooms
• Powder rooms
• Pantry windows
• Utility rooms
• French doors
• Street-facing windows
• Lower-half window privacy

This silver-grey, champagne and blush colourway works especially well as sophisticated cafe curtains because it remains soft and neutral while still offering much more pattern and detail than plain linen.

Cafe curtains can be made:

• Unlined
• Organic cotton light-filtering lined
• Blackout lined

Available heading choices include:

• Rod Pocket
• Back Tabs
• Hooks Top
• Grommets where suitable for the requested dimensions

To order cafe curtains:

Select the next available listed size larger than your exact finished size and write the required dimensions in the order details email.

EXAMPLE:

Cafe Curtain Finished Size:
44 inches wide × 29 inches high per panel

Quantity:
Pair

Heading:
Rod Pocket

Lining:
Unlined

Please clearly mention “CAFE CURTAINS” in the order details email.

PATTERN PLACEMENT

This fabric has a large embroidered geometric repeat.

The exact position of the trellis on each finished curtain may vary according to:

• Curtain width
• Curtain height
• Fabric repeat
• Heading style
• Custom measurements
• Point from which the fabric is cut
• Whether a joining seam is required

For a pair, we will position the pattern as consistently as reasonably possible.

However, exact mirror-image positioning of every embroidered shape cannot always be guaranteed.

Once gathered, some elongated geometric shapes will appear prominently across the front of the folds while others will move into the valleys between the folds.

This creates natural visual depth and movement.

ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT FILTERING

for greater privacy, complete opacity and softly diffused daylight.

BLACKOUT

for maximum light control through the curtain fabric and a heavier, more substantial finished drape.

BEDROOM CURTAINS

For bedrooms, the blackout-lined version provides the strongest light control.

The combination of:

• Heavy pure linen
• Raised embroidery
• Blackout lining

creates a particularly substantial finished curtain.

The soft silver-grey, champagne and blush palette works especially well in calm bedrooms, elegant guest rooms and sophisticated neutral interior schemes.

DINING ROOM CURTAINS

The large embroidered geometric design gives the curtains enough architectural presence for formal dining rooms while the muted colours keep the fabric refined.

They pair especially well with:

• Natural oak dining tables
• Walnut furniture
• Taupe upholstery
• Cream walls
• Champagne-metal lighting
• Brass fixtures
• Stone flooring

NURSERY CURTAINS

The muted grey and blush palette is also suitable for sophisticated nursery decor.
