Sage Olive Green Pure Linen Embroidered Curtains, Geometric Trellis Drapes, Custom Extra Long Blackout Panels
SAGE & OLIVE GREEN PURE LINEN EMBROIDERED CURTAINS WITH A LARGE GEOMETRIC TRELLIS PATTERN
Bring sophisticated natural colour, rich embroidered texture and contemporary pattern to your windows with these custom-made thick and heavy pure linen curtains.
The fabric combines a soft ivory to warm off-white pure linen ground with a subtle painterly background in pale sage green, celadon, muted olive, light moss and softly weathered beige-grey tones. Across this atmospheric background is a large-scale embroidered geometric trellis formed from elongated hexagons and linked diamond shapes.
The trellis embroidery is particularly distinctive because it is not one flat colour. Individual sections shift between sage green, olive, moss, forest green, khaki, muted chartreuse, warm taupe and natural beige. The tonal changes create depth and give the embroidery an artisan, almost hand-worked appearance.
The combination of the pale abstract background and stronger geometric embroidery makes these curtains equally suited to modern organic, transitional, contemporary, botanical, earthy, sophisticated farmhouse and nature-inspired interiors.
These curtains are individually made to order and can be purchased as:
• One single curtain panel
• A pair / set of 2 matching curtain panels
They can be ordered:
• Unlined
• With an organic cotton light-filtering liner
• With a 100% blackout OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified polycotton liner
COLOUR AND PATTERN
Main linen ground:
Soft ivory to warm off-white with a natural linen appearance.
Background colours:
• Pale sage green
• Soft celadon
• Misty grey-green
• Light moss
• Muted olive
• Pale khaki
• Soft beige-grey
• Natural flax tones
Embroidered trellis colours:
• Sage green
• Olive green
• Moss green
• Forest green
• Khaki
• Muted yellow-green
• Warm beige
• Mushroom taupe
Pattern style:
A large-scale embroidered geometric lattice composed of elongated hexagons, tapered diamonds and interconnected trellis lines.
Behind the embroidered lattice is a softly abstract, painterly design. The pale green and neutral shapes have an intentionally blurred, watercolour-like quality rather than a sharply defined floral print.
This creates an interesting contrast:
• Soft and organic background
• Structured geometric embroidery
• Pale tonal colouring
• Darker olive and forest-green accents
• Natural linen texture beneath the design
From a distance, the fabric appears as an elegant sage-and-ivory geometric curtain.
When viewed more closely, the individual embroidery stitches, tonal colour changes and abstract background become much more visible.
The embroidered lines contain alternating blocks of different green and neutral shades, including olive, moss, forest green, khaki and beige. These subtle variations give the geometric lattice considerable depth and prevent it from looking flat or machine-uniform.
Depending on your room lighting, the fabric may appear:
• Sage green and ivory
• Olive green and cream
• Celadon and natural linen
• Moss green and off-white
• Pale green and beige
Different portions of the embroidery may appear darker or lighter according to the direction of the stitches and the way light falls across the fabric.
Please remember that colours can also vary slightly due to:
• Natural daylight
• Artificial lighting
• Surrounding wall colours
• Furniture and flooring
• Screen brightness
• Screen colour calibration
• Photography
The fabric should therefore be viewed as a layered combination of sage, olive, moss, ivory and neutral earth tones rather than a single uniform green shade.
PURE LINEN EMBROIDERED FABRIC
These curtains are made from thick and heavy pure linen fabric with substantial geometric embroidery.
The natural linen ground gives the curtains visible woven texture, while the embroidery adds:
• Raised tactile detail
• Extra body
• Rich visual dimension
• Strong geometric definition
• Tonal colour variation
• An artisan textile appearance
• A more luxurious finish than a simple printed curtain
The trellis design is embroidered directly onto the face fabric rather than printed.
This means that the individual stitched sections can be seen and felt when the fabric is viewed closely.
The background beneath the embroidery has a softer painterly appearance, creating an attractive combination of structured stitching and loose organic colour.
Natural pure linen can contain:
• Slubs
• Small yarn variations
• Slightly thicker fibres
• Fine irregularities
• Minor variations in weave
These are characteristic features of genuine linen and should not be considered manufacturing defects.
FABRIC WEIGHT
The pure linen embroidered face fabric weighs approximately 403 grams per linear metre at a fabric width of 54 inches.
54 inches = approximately 1.3716 metres.
Therefore:
403 grams ÷ 1.3716 square metres = approximately 294 grams per square metre.
The face fabric is therefore approximately:
294 GSM
This is a substantial, heavy curtain fabric that has significantly more body than lightweight decorative linen.
The approximately 294 GSM weight helps the curtains form beautiful, substantial folds while retaining the natural movement and character associated with linen.
Adding the organic cotton or blackout liner will make the finished curtains even heavier, fuller and more structured.
SINGLE CURTAIN OR PAIR / SET OF 2
These curtains can be purchased as:
• Single Panel – one curtain
• Pair / Set of 2 – two matching curtains
Please check the quantity option carefully before ordering.
If you select SINGLE PANEL:
You will receive one individual curtain in the width and height selected.
If you select PAIR / SET OF 2:
You will receive two individual curtains, and EACH curtain will be made in the width and height selected.
The selected width refers to the flat finished width of EACH curtain before gathering.
Examples:
One 50-inch-wide curtain:
50 inches total flat width
Pair of 50-inch-wide curtains:
50 inches each
100 inches total combined flat width
One 100-inch-wide curtain:
100 inches total flat width
Pair of 100-inch-wide curtains:
100 inches each
200 inches total combined flat width
Please remember that curtains occupy less horizontal space once they are gathered onto a curtain rod or track.
AVAILABLE WIDTHS
Standard finished width options:
• 50 inches / approximately 127 cm per curtain
• 100 inches / approximately 254 cm per curtain
The selected width is the flat finished width of each individual curtain.
IMPORTANT – 100-INCH-WIDE CURTAINS
Every 100-inch-wide curtain will be made by joining two approximately 50-inch-wide fabric panels.
This means that each 100-inch-wide curtain will contain one vertical joining seam near the centre.
The seam is carefully sewn and is generally barely visible after the curtain is:
• Hung on the rod or track
• Gathered into folds
• Properly arranged
• Viewed from a normal distance
Joining fabric widths is necessary because the original embroidered linen is produced in a limited loom width.
If you order:
One 100-inch curtain:
There will be one joining seam in that curtain.
Pair of 100-inch curtains:
Each individual curtain will contain its own joining seam.
We will align the large geometric trellis across the joined sections as carefully as reasonably possible.
However, absolutely exact pattern matching cannot always be guaranteed because this depends on:
• Pattern repeat
• Finished curtain dimensions
• Position of the embroidery
• Heading style
• Fabric cutting position
AVAILABLE HEIGHTS
Standard finished heights are available from 36 inches to 180 inches in 12-inch increments:
• 36 inches / approximately 91 cm
• 48 inches / approximately 122 cm
• 60 inches / approximately 152 cm
• 72 inches / approximately 183 cm
• 84 inches / approximately 213 cm
• 96 inches / approximately 244 cm
• 108 inches / approximately 274 cm
• 120 inches / approximately 305 cm
• 132 inches / approximately 335 cm
• 144 inches / approximately 366 cm
• 156 inches / approximately 396 cm

• 180 inches / approximately 457 cm
The extensive height range makes these curtains suitable for:

• Floor-to-ceiling windows
• Tall windows
• Loft apartments
• High ceilings
• Double-height spaces
• Two-storey windows

Please always select the next size UP.
Do not select a smaller size than your required dimensions because sufficient fabric must be included in the purchased option to produce the requested finished size.
LINING OPTIONS
Three lining choices are available:
1. UNLINED
2. ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT-FILTERING LINER
3. 100% BLACKOUT OEKO-TEX CERTIFIED POLYCOTTON LINER
Your required lining choice must be entered in the order details email.
1. UNLINED
Choose the unlined option if you want to preserve the most natural appearance and movement of the embroidered pure linen fabric.
When unlined, these curtains are semi-sheer privacy curtains.
The substantial face fabric provides more coverage than lightweight sheer linen, but daylight can still pass through when the curtains are strongly backlit.
The amount of transparency depends on:
• Strength of sunlight
• Direction of sunlight
• Time of day
• Curtain fullness
• Room lighting
• Distance between curtain and window
During daytime use, the unlined curtain provides a useful level of privacy while allowing filtered natural daylight into the room.
When strong daylight shines directly behind the fabric, some outlines may be visible through it.
At night, when lights are switched on inside the room, silhouettes or shadows may be visible from outside.
If complete privacy is important, choose one of the lined options.
The unlined option is ideal if you want:
• Maximum visibility of the linen texture
• Maximum visibility of the embroidery
• Soft natural daylight
• A lighter drape
• Semi-sheer privacy
• Decorative living room curtains
• Layering with an existing blind or Roman shade
2. ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT-FILTERING LINER
Our organic cotton light-filtering liner is an excellent choice when you want greater privacy without completely darkening the room.
The cotton lining makes the finished curtain completely opaque under normal viewing conditions.
The main embroidered linen face fabric will no longer appear semi-sheer.
The organic cotton liner:
• Adds complete visual opacity
• Provides increased privacy
• Softens strong daylight
• Allows filtered natural light into the room
• Adds body to the curtains
• Helps the curtains hang more substantially
• Gives the folds greater structure
• Supports the embroidered linen face fabric
• Reduces visibility of shadows from outside
This option works particularly well for:
• Living rooms
• Dining rooms
• Bedrooms
• Guest rooms
• Nurseries
• Home offices
• Street-facing rooms
• Rooms where privacy is important
Please note:
The organic cotton liner is LIGHT FILTERING.
It is not blackout.
Natural daylight will still enter the room, but it will be softened and diffused.
Choose the organic cotton lining if you want:
OPAQUE CURTAINS + PRIVACY + SOFT NATURAL LIGHT
3. 100% BLACKOUT OEKO-TEX CERTIFIED LINER
For maximum darkness and privacy, choose the 100% blackout liner.
The blackout lining is an OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, non-toxic polycotton fabric composed of:
50% cotton
50% polyester
The blackout liner completely prevents light from passing directly through the body of the curtain fabric.
This makes the finished curtain:
• Fully opaque
• Suitable for bedrooms
• Suitable for nurseries
• Suitable for children’s rooms
• Suitable for guest bedrooms
• Suitable for media rooms
• Suitable for home cinemas
• Suitable for shift workers
• Suitable for rooms receiving strong sunlight
Please understand the distinction between BLACKOUT FABRIC and BLACKOUT INSTALLATION.
The blackout liner prevents light from passing THROUGH the curtain.
Light can still potentially enter:
• Above the curtain
• Along the outer edges
• Beneath the curtain
• Through the centre gap between two panels
This depends on how the curtains are installed.
For the darkest possible room:
• Order generous curtain fullness
• Extend the rod beyond both sides of the window
• Install the curtains above the window opening
• Allow two curtains to overlap slightly in the centre
• Ensure the curtain length fully covers the window
• Position the curtains reasonably close to the wall
HEADING STYLES
Four heading options are available:
• Hooks Top
• Back Tabs
• Rod Pocket
• Grommets
The required heading must be mentioned in the order details email.
HOOKS TOP
Hooks top is the most versatile option because it can be used with:
• Curtain tracks
• Curtain rods with rings
For a curtain track:
The hooks connect to the track runners or gliders.
For a curtain rod:
The hooks attach to suitable curtain rings fitted onto the rod.
This style is suitable for:
• Standard tracks
• Ceiling-mounted tracks
• Wall-mounted tracks
• Decorative rods with rings
• Frequently opened curtains
• Large windows
• Extra-long curtains
BACK TABS
Back tabs are fabric loops sewn to the reverse of the curtain heading.
The rod slides through these hidden tabs.
From the front, most of the curtain rod remains concealed.
Back tabs create:
• Clean folds
• A tailored appearance
• Minimal visible hardware
• A contemporary look
• Soft, evenly spaced gathering
Back tabs require a curtain rod.
They cannot be installed directly onto a standard curtain track.
ROD POCKET
A fabric channel is sewn across the top of the curtain.
The curtain rod passes directly through this channel.
Rod-pocket curtains create:
• Soft gathered folds
• A relaxed appearance
• Minimal visible hardware
• A classic curtain style
Rod pockets are especially suitable for:
• Bedroom curtains
• Living room curtains
• Smaller windows
• Decorative curtains
• Short curtains
• Custom cafe curtains
Please make sure the diameter of your curtain rod is suitable for the rod-pocket opening.
GROMMETS
Grommets, also called eyelets, are fitted across the top edge of the curtain.
The curtain rod slides directly through the rings.
Grommets create:
• Broad wave-like folds
• A clean contemporary appearance
• Easy opening and closing
• A structured curtain shape
• Visible decorative hardware
Grommet curtains require a curtain rod rather than a standard curtain track.
CURTAIN FULLNESS
The width selected in the listing refers to the FLAT finished curtain width.
For curtains to look properly gathered, the combined width should normally be greater than the usable width of your curtain rod or track.
General recommendation:
1.5 × fullness:
More relaxed and contemporary
2 × fullness:
Fuller and more luxurious
EXAMPLE:
Curtain rod width:
50 inches
Pair of 50-inch-wide panels:
100 inches combined flat width
This provides approximately 2 × fullness.
Another example:
Rod width:
100 inches
Pair of 100-inch-wide curtains:
200 inches combined flat width
This provides approximately 2 × fullness.
With this large geometric embroidered pattern, fuller curtains create deeper folds and a richer overall appearance.
Lower fullness allows more individual sections of the embroidered hexagonal trellis to remain fully visible.
HOW TO MEASURE CURTAIN WIDTH
1. Measure the usable width of your curtain rod or track.
2. Do not include decorative finials.
3. Decide the desired fullness.
4. Multiply the rod/track width by approximately 1.5 to 2.
5. Divide the resulting total by the number of curtain panels required.
Example:
Rod width:
80 inches
Desired fullness:
2 ×
80 × 2 = 160 inches combined curtain width.
A pair of 100-inch panels would provide 200 inches combined width and therefore generous fullness.
HOW TO MEASURE CURTAIN HEIGHT
Measure from the point where the finished curtain will actually hang to the point where you want it to finish.
HOOKS TOP:
Measure from the hook / ring hanging point.
BACK TABS:
Measure from the top of the curtain rod.
ROD POCKET:
Measure from the top of the rod.
GROMMETS:
Measure from the top of the rod while accounting for the small section of fabric extending above the grommets.
Possible curtain lengths include:
• Sill length
• Below sill
• Apron length
• Floor length
• Just touching the floor
• Slight puddle on the floor
For floor-length curtains, measure in several locations because floors and curtain rods are not always perfectly level.
CUSTOM CAFE CURTAINS
We can also make this fabric into custom cafe curtains.
Cafe curtains are shorter window curtains designed primarily to cover the lower portion of the window while leaving the upper portion open for natural daylight.
This sage and olive embroidered linen fabric is particularly attractive for cafe curtains because the green and ivory palette works beautifully with natural wood, cream kitchens, stone surfaces and earthy interiors.
Cafe curtains are suitable for:
• Kitchen windows
• Breakfast nooks
• Breakfast rooms
• Bathrooms
• Powder rooms
• Dining areas
• Pantry windows
• Utility rooms
• French doors
• Street-facing windows
• Small windows
• Half-window privacy
Cafe curtains can be made:
• Unlined
• Organic cotton lined
• Blackout lined
Available heading options include:
• Rod Pocket
• Back Tabs
• Hooks Top
• Grommets where appropriate for the requested dimensions
To order cafe curtains:
Select the next available listed size larger than your exact required size.
Then enter the exact required dimensions in the order details email.
Example:

44 inches wide × 28 inches high per curtain

Heading:

Please clearly mention “Cafe Curtains” when ordering.
PATTERN PLACEMENT
This fabric has a large geometric embroidered repeat.
The exact placement of the trellis on each finished curtain can vary depending on:
• Curtain width
• Curtain height
• Fabric repeat
• Heading style
• Custom dimensions
• Point from which the fabric is cut
• Whether a joining seam is required
For a pair of curtains, we will position the pattern as consistently as reasonably possible.
However, exact mirror-image positioning of every embroidered shape cannot always be guaranteed.
When the curtains are gathered, some elongated hexagons will appear prominently on the front of the folds while other portions of the pattern move into the valleys between folds.
This creates natural visual movement and makes the geometric design appear less rigid once installed.

LIVING ROOM CURTAINS
These curtains work especially well in living rooms where you want a natural colour palette with more character than plain linen.
For living rooms:
Choose UNLINED if you prefer the most natural appearance and softly filtered daylight.
Choose ORGANIC COTTON LINED if privacy is important while you still want natural light.
Choose BLACKOUT LINED for maximum opacity and stronger light control.
BEDROOM CURTAINS
For bedrooms, the 100% blackout lining provides the strongest light-blocking performance through the body of the curtain.
The combination of:
• Heavy linen
• Embroidery
• Blackout lining
creates a particularly substantial finished curtain.
The sage-and-olive palette is well suited to calm bedrooms, nature-inspired bedrooms and warm neutral interiors.
DINING ROOM CURTAINS
The large embroidered trellis gives the fabric enough structure for formal or contemporary dining rooms without looking overly decorative.
The pale ivory and green colouring coordinates especially well with:
• Natural wood dining tables
• Oak furniture
• Walnut furniture
• Stone floors
• Neutral rugs
• Brass lighting
• Green botanical accents
NURSERY CURTAINS
The muted sage and ivory palette is also suitable for a sophisticated neutral nursery.
For rooms used for daytime sleep, choose the blackout liner.
The geometric pattern is decorative without being specifically juvenile, allowing the curtains to remain suitable as the room changes over time.
