Sage Green Pure Linen Jacquard Curtains, Ivory Art Deco Geometric Drapes, Custom Extra Long Blackout Curtain Panels
SAGE GREEN PURE LINEN JACQUARD CURTAINS WITH IVORY ART DECO GEOMETRIC PATTERN
Bring elegant colour, architectural pattern and luxurious woven texture to your windows with these custom-made sage green pure linen jacquard curtains.
The fabric has a soft, muted sage green background with gentle seafoam, grey-green and pale duck-egg undertones. Across the linen ground is a large-scale pearl ivory and silver-white geometric jacquard design inspired by Art Deco interiors.
The woven pattern combines interlocking elongated octagons, linked geometric medallions and broad trellis lines. The raised ivory threads catch the light softly, creating subtle dimension and a refined pearl-like shimmer without appearing overly shiny or glittery.
These statement curtains work beautifully in modern, contemporary, transitional, Art Deco, Hollywood Regency, elegant coastal and sophisticated neutral interiors. They are suitable for living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, nurseries, guest rooms, home offices, dressing rooms, reading rooms and tall floor-to-ceiling windows.
Each curtain is individually made to order and can be purchased as one single curtain panel or as a pair/set of two panels.
COLOUR AND PATTERN
Background colour:
Soft muted sage green with pale seafoam, grey-green and subtle blue-green undertones.
Pattern colour:
Pearl ivory, soft white and lightly silver-toned woven yarn.
Pattern style:
Large-scale interlocking geometric trellis with elongated octagonal links and Art Deco-inspired medallions.
The light-coloured jacquard motif has a slightly raised woven texture. Depending on the lighting and viewing angle, the pattern may appear ivory, pearl white or softly silver.
Because the design is woven directly into the fabric rather than printed onto its surface, it has visible depth and texture. The geometric shapes become more pronounced when light moves across the folds of the curtains.
Please remember that colours can appear slightly different depending on natural daylight, artificial lighting, room surroundings, screen settings and photographic conditions. The sage background may look more green, grey-green, seafoam or blue-green in different interiors.
FABRIC COMPOSITION AND WEIGHT
These curtains are made from thick and heavy pure linen jacquard fabric.
The supplied fabric weight is 403 grams per linear metre at a fabric width of 54 inches. This converts to approximately 294 GSM.
Calculation:
54 inches = approximately 1.3716 metres wide
403 grams ÷ 1.3716 square metres = approximately 294 grams per square metre
The substantial 294 GSM construction gives the curtains a rich, structured drape while retaining the natural character and texture of linen.
The woven jacquard design also adds body and dimension to the fabric. When installed with generous fullness, the panels form deep folds that display the sage green background and pearl ivory geometric pattern beautifully.
Natural linen may contain occasional slubs, small yarn variations and subtle irregularities. These are characteristic of genuine linen fibres and are not considered defects.
CURTAIN QUANTITY
These curtains can be ordered as:
• One single curtain panel
• A pair or set of two matching curtain panels
Please check the quantity selection carefully before placing your order.
Selecting Single Panel provides one curtain.
Selecting Pair or Set of 2 provides two curtains in the selected width and height.
The selected width refers to the flat finished width of each individual curtain panel before gathering.
Examples:
• One 50-inch-wide panel provides 50 inches of total flat width
• A pair of 50-inch-wide panels provides 100 inches of total flat width
• One 100-inch-wide panel provides 100 inches of total flat width
• A pair of 100-inch-wide panels provides 200 inches of total flat width
The curtains will appear narrower once they are gathered or arranged into folds on the curtain rod or track.
AVAILABLE CURTAIN WIDTHS
Standard finished width options:
• 50 inches wide / approximately 127 cm per panel
• 100 inches wide / approximately 254 cm per panel
The selected width is the finished flat width of each curtain panel, not the width after gathering.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR 100-INCH-WIDE CURTAINS
A 100-inch-wide curtain panel is made by joining two approximately 50-inch fabric widths.
There will therefore be one carefully finished vertical joining seam near the centre of every 100-inch-wide curtain panel.
The seam is generally barely visible once the curtains are installed, gathered and arranged into natural folds. This construction method is necessary because the original linen jacquard fabric is woven in a limited loom width.
If you purchase one 100-inch panel, that panel will contain one joining seam.
If you purchase a pair of 100-inch panels, each individual panel will contain one joining seam.
We carefully align and position the fabric wherever reasonably possible, although exact pattern matching across a joining seam may vary depending on the fabric repeat and the finished dimensions ordered.
AVAILABLE CURTAIN HEIGHTS
Standard finished height options are available from 36 inches to 180 inches in 12-inch increments:
• 36 inches / approximately 91 cm
• 48 inches / approximately 122 cm
• 60 inches / approximately 152 cm
• 72 inches / approximately 183 cm
• 84 inches / approximately 213 cm
• 96 inches / approximately 244 cm
• 108 inches / approximately 274 cm
• 120 inches / approximately 305 cm
• 132 inches / approximately 335 cm
• 144 inches / approximately 366 cm
• 156 inches / approximately 396 cm
• 168 inches / approximately 427 cm
• 180 inches / approximately 457 cm
The longer options are ideal for:
• Floor-to-ceiling curtains
• Tall living room windows
• High-ceiling bedrooms
• Double-height rooms
• Loft apartments
• French doors
• Large picture windows
• Formal dining rooms
• Oversized or unusually tall windows
CUSTOM CURTAIN SIZES
Custom widths and custom heights can also be made.
To order a customised size:
1. Measure the exact finished width and height required.
2. Select the next available standard size larger than your required measurements.
3. Enter the exact finished measurements in the order details email.
4. Clearly state whether the measurements are in inches or centimetres.
5. Enter your required heading style.
6. Enter your required lining option.
7. Include any other relevant requirements.
Example:

In the order details email, write:
Finished size required: 44 inches wide x 90 inches high
Heading: Back Tabs
Lining: Organic Cotton Light Filtering
Please select the next size up rather than the next size down. The selected option must provide enough fabric to produce your requested finished dimensions.
If your custom size is larger than the available options, please contact us before placing the order.
LINING OPTIONS
These sage green jacquard curtains are available in three lining options:
1. Unlined
2. Organic Cotton Light-Filtering Lined
3. 100% Blackout OEKO-TEX Certified Polycotton Lined
Please enter your selected lining option in the order details email when ordering.
1. UNLINED CURTAINS
The unlined option preserves the natural drape, texture and softly filtered appearance of the pure linen jacquard.
When unlined, the curtains are semi-sheer privacy curtains. They allow natural daylight to filter through while partially softening the view through the window.
The exact level of transparency will depend on:
• The strength and direction of sunlight
• Whether the room is viewed during the day or at night
• The amount of gathering or fullness
• The colour and brightness of the room behind the curtains
• Whether indoor lights are switched on
During daylight hours, unlined curtains provide a useful degree of privacy while keeping the room bright.
At night, when indoor lights are switched on, shadows or silhouettes may be visible from outside. Unlined curtains are therefore not recommended where complete nighttime privacy is required.
Choose unlined curtains if you prefer:
• The natural appearance of linen
• A softer and lighter construction
• Filtered daylight
• Semi-sheer privacy
• Decorative window panels
• Curtains layered with a Roman shade or blind
• A more relaxed natural drape
2. ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT-FILTERING LINER
The organic cotton liner adds privacy, body and opacity while still allowing softly diffused daylight into the room.
The cotton lining makes the curtains opaque under normal use and prevents the main fabric from appearing semi-sheer. It is an excellent choice for living rooms, dining rooms, home offices, nurseries and bedrooms where privacy is important but complete darkness is not required.
The light-filtering cotton liner:
• Provides greater daytime and nighttime privacy
• Makes the curtain opaque
• Softens incoming daylight
• Adds structure and fullness
• Supports the heavy jacquard fabric
• Creates a more substantial finished curtain
• Reduces the visibility of shadows from outside
• Preserves a bright and comfortable room atmosphere
Please note that the organic cotton liner is light filtering rather than blackout. Some daylight will still pass through the completed curtain.
Choose this option when you want privacy and opacity without making the room completely dark.
3. 100% BLACKOUT OEKO-TEX CERTIFIED LINER
The blackout option uses a non-toxic OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified polycotton blackout lining made from:
• 50% cotton
• 50% polyester
This specialised lining blocks light from passing through the curtain fabric and creates complete fabric opacity.
The blackout option is recommended for:
• Bedrooms
• Children’s rooms
• Nurseries
• Guest bedrooms
• Media rooms
• Home cinemas
• Shift workers
• Street-facing rooms
• Rooms receiving strong direct sunlight
• Spaces where maximum privacy is required
The blackout liner prevents light from passing directly through the body of the curtain.
A small amount of light may still enter around the top, sides, bottom or centre opening of the curtains depending on the installation, selected width and amount of overlap. This is light entering around the curtains rather than passing through the lined fabric.
For the darkest result:
• Order sufficient fullness
• Extend the curtain rod beyond both sides of the window
• Install the rod high above the window
• Allow the panels to overlap at the centre
• Select a length that fully covers the window
• Consider a return-style rod or additional blind where complete room darkness is essential
CURTAIN HEADING STYLES
Four heading styles are available:
1. Hooks Top
2. Back Tabs
3. Rod Pocket
4. Grommets
Your required heading style must be entered in the order details email.
1. HOOKS TOP
The hooks-top heading is suitable for both curtain tracks and curtain rods.
For a curtain rod, the panels can be attached to curtain rings fitted with suitable hooks.
For a curtain track, the hooks can be connected to the runners or gliders on the track.
This is a versatile option for:
• Existing curtain tracks
• Decorative rods with rings
• Ceiling-mounted tracks
• Wall-mounted curtain tracks
• Traditional and contemporary interiors
The hooks-top construction creates a neat, adaptable curtain heading and allows the curtains to move smoothly across a suitable rod or track.
2. BACK TABS
Back tabs are fabric loops sewn onto the reverse of the curtain heading.
The curtain rod passes through the hidden tabs, allowing most of the rod to remain concealed when viewed from the front.
Back-tab curtains create:
• Soft, evenly spaced folds
• A clean tailored appearance
• A simple modern finish
• Minimal visible hardware
• A gently structured drape
Back tabs are intended for use with a curtain rod rather than a curtain track.
3. ROD POCKET
A rod pocket is a sewn fabric channel running across the top of the curtain.
The curtain rod slides directly through this channel.
Rod-pocket curtains create a softly gathered, relaxed appearance and work particularly well for:
• Decorative curtain rods
• Bedroom curtains
• Living room curtains
• Cafe curtains
• Smaller windows
• Layered window treatments
Please check that the diameter of your curtain rod will fit inside the rod pocket.
4. GROMMETS
Grommets, also known as eyelets, are rings fitted across the top of the curtain.
The curtain rod passes directly through the grommets, creating broad and evenly spaced folds.
Grommet curtains provide:
• A clean contemporary appearance
• Deep wave-like folds
• Easy opening and closing
• Visible decorative hardware
• A modern window treatment style
Grommet curtains require a curtain rod and cannot be attached directly to a standard track.
Please ensure that your rod diameter is compatible with the grommet opening.
CURTAIN FULLNESS
The selected curtain width is the flat finished width before gathering.
For a properly gathered appearance, the combined flat width of the curtains should be wider than the curtain rod, track or area being covered.
A general fullness guide is:
• Approximately 1.5 times fullness for a relaxed modern appearance
• Approximately 2 times fullness for a fuller and more luxurious appearance
Example:
For a 50-inch-wide curtain rod:
• One 50-inch panel provides approximately one times coverage and will appear relatively flat
• A pair of 50-inch panels provides 100 inches of combined width and approximately two times fullness
For a 100-inch-wide curtain rod:
• A pair of 100-inch panels provides 200 inches of combined flat width and approximately two times fullness
Greater fullness creates deeper folds and displays the woven geometric pattern more luxuriously.
Less fullness creates a flatter appearance and may reveal more of the individual geometric motifs.
Please measure the full width of the rod or track, excluding decorative finials, before choosing your curtain width.
HOW TO MEASURE THE WIDTH
1. Measure the usable width of your curtain rod or track.
2. Decide whether you prefer approximately 1.5 times or 2 times fullness.
3. Multiply the rod or track width by your preferred fullness.
4. Divide the resulting total width by the number of panels required.
Example:
Rod width: 80 inches
Desired fullness: 2 times
Required combined panel width: approximately 160 inches
A pair of 100-inch panels would provide 200 inches of combined width and create generous fullness.
HOW TO MEASURE THE HEIGHT
Measure from the top of the installed curtain rod or track to where you want the curtains to end. For Hooks top only, subtract 1 in (2.54 cm) once from this measurement because the curtains hang slightly below the rod. Do not deduct or add an allowance for other heading styles.
The correct starting point depends on the chosen heading:
• Hooks Top: Measure from the top of the installed curtain rod or track to where you want the curtains to end. For Hooks top only, subtract 1 in (2.54 cm) once from this measurement because the curtains hang slightly below the rod.
• Back Tabs: Measure from the top of the curtain rod
• Rod Pocket: Measure from the top of the curtain rod
• Grommets: Measure from the top of the installed curtain rod or track to where you want the curtains to end. Do not add an allowance above the eyelets.
Possible curtain lengths include:
• Window-sill length
• Below-sill length
• Apron length
• Floor length
• Lightly touching the floor
• Puddling on the floor
For floor-length curtains, measure carefully at several points because floors and curtain rods may not be completely level.
CAFE CURTAINS
These linen jacquard panels can also be custom made as cafe curtains.
Cafe curtains cover the lower part of a window while leaving the upper portion open for natural daylight.
They are ideal for:
• Kitchen windows
• Breakfast rooms
• Dining areas
• Bathrooms
• Powder rooms
• Utility rooms
• Street-facing windows
• French doors
• Pantry windows
• Half-window privacy
• Small decorative windows
The soft sage green background and pearl ivory geometric pattern give these cafe curtains a refined, modern appearance that works especially well in elegant kitchens, contemporary dining rooms and sophisticated powder rooms.
Custom cafe curtains can be made with:
• Rod Pocket
• Back Tabs
• Hooks Top
• Grommets, where suitable for the requested dimensions
They may be ordered:
• Unlined
• Organic cotton light-filtering lined
• Blackout lined
To order cafe curtains, select the next standard size larger than your required dimensions and enter the exact finished cafe curtain size in the order details email.
Example:
Cafe curtain size required: 42 inches wide x 30 inches high
Heading: Rod Pocket
Lining: Unlined
Cafe curtains are not listed as a separate title option, so please clearly mention that the order is for cafe curtains in the order details email.
PATTERN PLACEMENT
The positioning of the geometric pattern may vary between panels depending on:
• Curtain width
• Curtain height
• Fabric repeat
• Heading construction
• Custom measurements
• Where the fabric is cut
For a pair of curtains, we will arrange the panels as consistently as reasonably possible. However, exact mirror-image placement cannot always be guaranteed because of the size and repeat of the woven pattern.
The appearance of the pattern will also change when the curtains are gathered. Some geometric shapes will be visible across the front of the folds while others will move partially into the valleys between folds.
