Widths shown are flat fabric widths per curtain, before gathering or pleating.

Measure for your curtains

Enter your width and height together, then apply your measurements.

Size-dropdown widths are flat fabric widths per curtain.

A gathered curtain covers less space than its flat fabric width. Choose fullness below; Grommet/Eyelet and Pinch pleats always need 2× your coverage width.

This selection also updates Heading style on the product page.

Choose your fullness

Multiply the rod / track coverage by your fullness, then divide by the number of curtains.

Photorealistic fullness examples; actual folds vary with fabric and heading.

Measure the usable span of your installed rod or track, from one end of the curtain coverage to the other. Exclude decorative finials.

A pair contains two curtains. The flat fabric width you order is per curtain, not the combined pair. Choosing a curtain count here updates Panel quantity on the product page.

Enter the full measured drop. For Hooks top only, we subtract 1 in (2.54 cm) because the curtain hangs slightly below the rod. Do not deduct it yourself.

Finished curtain height to orderEnter the height you measured above.

Apply your measurements

We select the exact available flat-width × finished-height size, or the closest larger size fitting both dimensions. For a larger size, your exact request is added to Custom sizes / requirements, preserving your own notes. Your curtain-count choice also updates Panel quantity on the product page.

Review your heading and fullness before applying. This updates your selected size but does not add anything to your cart.

How to measure · illustrations and examples

Measure the space your curtains will cover

Measure the usable span of your installed rod or track, from one end of the curtain coverage to the other. Exclude decorative finials.

Measure the usable rod or track span—not the window glass or decorative finials.

Example: a 100 in (254 cm) rod, two curtains and 2× fullness need 100 in (254 cm) flat width per curtain.

Flat fabric width before gathering or pleating—not the hanging coverage.

Measure from the top of the rod to your chosen bottom

Measure straight down from the top of your installed curtain rod to where you want the curtains to end. For a track, use the top of the installed track.

Start at the top of the rod or track. Stop at your chosen bottom.

Rust Wildflower Embroidered Pure Linen Curtains, Oatmeal Botanical Drapes, Custom Blackout or Light Filtering Panels — image 1

Rust Wildflower Embroidered Pure Linen Curtains, Oatmeal Botanical Drapes, Custom Blackout or Light Filtering Panels

Product description
Shipping & returns

Rust wildflower embroidered pure linen curtains featuring delicate botanical sprigs across a soft oatmeal background, available as custom window panels with unlined, organic cotton light-filtering or complete blackout lining options.

Bring natural texture, earthy color and quiet botanical character into your home with these beautifully embroidered pure linen curtains. The substantial linen fabric has a pale oatmeal, light flax and softly warm off-white base, decorated with scattered meadow-inspired stems, tiny flower buds and abstract seed-head sprigs.

The embroidery combines rich rust red, burnt terracotta and muted brick tones with softer taupe, khaki, olive-brown and natural beige threads. Some stems are embroidered in warm rust while others appear in understated earthy neutrals, creating a layered botanical design that feels organic rather than overly formal.

The pattern is airy and delicately spaced, allowing the natural linen ground to remain visible between the embroidered branches. The slender, vertically growing wildflower stems give the curtains an elegant sense of height without creating a busy or heavily repeated appearance.

These curtains work beautifully in modern farmhouse, organic modern, cottagecore, rustic, botanical, earthy bohemian, country cottage and nature-inspired interiors. Their warm but restrained color palette complements natural wood furniture, creamy walls, terracotta accessories, woven rugs, stone finishes, muted greens and other neutral furnishings.

FABRIC AND WEIGHT

These curtains are made from thick, substantial and heavy pure linen embroidered fabric rather than lightweight synthetic voile.

The fabric weighs approximately 294 GSM. This has been converted from a weight of 403 grams per linear metre based on the fabric’s 54-inch width.

Although the linen has a substantial curtain-weight construction, the unlined fabric retains the naturally light-permeable character of woven linen. This creates a softly illuminated, semi-sheer effect when daylight passes through it.

Natural linen may contain small slubs, subtle variations in yarn thickness and slight tonal irregularities. These are normal characteristics of genuine linen and contribute to its organic texture rather than being considered defects.

COLOR AND EMBROIDERY DETAILS

Base color: Soft oatmeal, pale flax, warm off-white and light natural beige

Primary embroidery color: Rust red, burnt terracotta and muted brick red

Secondary embroidery colors: Taupe, khaki beige, muted olive-brown and natural tan

Pattern: Scattered wildflower stems, meadow sprigs, tiny botanical buds and abstract seed-head branches

Overall appearance: Earthy, botanical, softly rustic and naturally elegant

The embroidery is stitched directly into the linen surface, adding visible texture, depth and handcrafted character. The threadwork is intentionally delicate and irregular in appearance to resemble naturally growing meadow branches rather than a rigid geometric repeat.

Color appearance can vary slightly depending on daylight, indoor lighting and individual screen settings. Ordering or requesting a fabric sample before purchasing is recommended whenever an exact color match is essential.

SINGLE CURTAIN OR SET OF TWO

These curtains can be ordered as:

One single curtain panel

A pair or set of two curtain panels

The width and height selected from the size menu apply to each individual curtain panel.

For example:

A single 50-inch-wide curtain selection includes one curtain measuring 50 inches wide.

A set of two 50-inch-wide curtains includes two separate curtains, with each curtain measuring 50 inches wide.

The pair would therefore provide a combined flat fabric width of 100 inches before gathering.

Please check whether you require one curtain or a pair before completing your order.

STANDARD WIDTHS

50 inches wide per curtain Approximately 127 cm wide per curtain

100 inches wide per curtain Approximately 254 cm wide per curtain

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR 100-INCH-WIDE CURTAINS

The original embroidered linen fabric is woven in approximately 50-inch usable curtain widths. Therefore, every finished 100-inch-wide curtain will be made by carefully joining two approximately 50-inch fabric panels.

This construction creates one vertical seam near the middle of each 100-inch-wide curtain.

The embroidery and fabric will be aligned as carefully as the pattern repeat permits. Once the curtain is installed and arranged into natural folds, the joining seam is generally barely visible.

This seam is a necessary construction feature of extra-wide curtains and is not considered a manufacturing defect.

When ordering a pair of 100-inch-wide curtains, each of the two curtains will contain its own central joining seam.

STANDARD HEIGHTS

36 inches / approximately 91 cm

48 inches / approximately 122 cm

60 inches / approximately 152 cm

72 inches / approximately 183 cm

84 inches / approximately 213 cm

96 inches / approximately 244 cm

108 inches / approximately 274 cm

120 inches / approximately 305 cm

132 inches / approximately 335 cm

144 inches / approximately 366 cm

156 inches / approximately 396 cm

168 inches / approximately 427 cm

180 inches / approximately 457 cm

The extensive height range makes these curtains suitable for standard windows, doorways, tall ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows and extra-long curtain installations.

CUSTOM SIZES

Custom widths and lengths are available.

When your required measurement falls between two available standard sizes, please select and purchase the next larger size that accommodates your requested finished measurement.

For example, when you require a finished curtain height of 92 inches, select the 96-inch height and enter 92 inches as the required finished height in the order details email.

Please do not select a smaller size than the custom measurement required.

Enter the exact finished width and finished height required for each individual curtain. Measurements should not include additional allowances unless you specifically want those allowances included in the finished dimensions.

For unusually wide curtains, oversized windows or measurements outside the listed range, please request confirmation before placing the order.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE CURTAIN WIDTH

The listed width is the flat finished width of one curtain before it is gathered onto the rod or track.

For an attractive gathered appearance, the combined flat width of the curtains should generally be greater than the width of the rod or track.

A common guideline is to order a total flat curtain width approximately 1.5 to 2 times the width of the area being covered, depending on how full you would like the curtains to appear.

Example:

For a 70-inch-wide rod, a pair of 50-inch-wide curtains provides 100 inches of combined flat width and creates moderate gathering.

For a fuller and more luxurious appearance, a larger combined width may be selected.

The embroidered motif will naturally move into and out of view as the curtains form folds.

LINING OPTIONS

UNLINED

The unlined option displays the linen in its most natural form.

It allows softly diffused daylight to pass through the woven fabric and creates a relaxed, semi-sheer appearance.

Unlined curtains provide useful daytime privacy while preserving natural light. As with most semi-sheer curtains, indoor silhouettes may be more noticeable from outside at night when the room is brightly illuminated.

This option is ideal for living rooms, dining rooms, kitchens, sunrooms, offices and other spaces where soft light is desirable.

The reverse side of the embroidery and stitching will remain visible from the back of an unlined curtain.

ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT-FILTERING LINER

The organic cotton lining adds body, privacy and opacity while retaining a softly light-filtering effect.

It covers the reverse side of the embroidery and gives the curtains a more finished appearance when viewed from outside the window.

The cotton liner makes the curtains opaque for increased privacy and helps prevent clear silhouettes from being visible through the fabric.

It is an excellent choice for living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, nurseries and street-facing windows where privacy is important but complete darkness is not required.

The cotton lining also gives the curtains a fuller and more structured drape.

100% BLACKOUT LINER

The blackout option uses a non-toxic OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified polycotton blackout lining made from 50% cotton and 50% polyester.

The blackout lining fabric is designed to block incoming light completely through the curtain surface, making this option suitable for bedrooms, nurseries, media rooms, shift workers and other areas where maximum room darkening is desired.

The blackout liner also provides complete visual privacy and conceals the reverse side of the embroidery.

Although the lining itself blocks light, a small amount of light may still enter around the top, sides or bottom of the curtains depending on rod placement, curtain fullness and the installation method.

For the best room-darkening result, order sufficient curtain width and allow the curtains to extend beyond the window frame on both sides and above the window.

AVAILABLE HEADING STYLES

Please select one of the following four heading styles and enter your selection in the order details email.

HOOKS TOP

The hooks-top heading is suitable for curtain tracks as well as curtain rods fitted with rings.

A structured heading tape is sewn along the top of the curtain, and curtain hooks connect the panel to track gliders or curtain rings.

This option is versatile and works especially well for traditional tracks, ceiling-mounted systems and rods with separate rings.

BACK TABS

Fabric loops are sewn discreetly onto the reverse side of the curtain heading.

The curtain rod passes through these hidden back tabs, leaving the front of the curtain clean and uninterrupted.

Back-tab curtains create soft, evenly spaced folds and work particularly well in modern farmhouse, contemporary and minimalist interiors.

ROD POCKET

A sewn channel is formed across the top of the curtain, allowing the curtain rod to slide directly through the fabric pocket.

Rod-pocket curtains create a softly gathered, casual appearance and are a popular choice for bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens and cottage-style interiors.

Please make sure the curtain rod is compatible with the finished pocket size.

GROMMETS

Circular eyelets are fitted across the top of the curtain, allowing the rod to pass directly through the heading.

Grommet curtains are easy to open and close and naturally form broad, even folds.

This heading creates a neat, contemporary appearance suitable for living rooms, bedrooms and modern interiors.

CAFE CURTAINS AND SHORT WINDOW CURTAINS

This embroidered linen can also be made into custom cafe curtains, kitchen curtains, bathroom window curtains, half-window panels, short farmhouse curtains and door-window curtains.

Cafe curtains are particularly well suited to this scattered wildflower pattern because the delicate embroidery remains visible even on shorter panels.

For cafe curtains, select the next available size above the exact finished measurements and enter the required cafe-curtain width, height, heading style and lining preference in the order details email.

Cafe curtains can be made unlined for a softly illuminated kitchen or breakfast-room window, or cotton lined when additional privacy is required.

SUITABLE ROOMS AND INTERIOR STYLES

These embroidered linen drapes can be used as:

Living room curtains

Bedroom curtains

Dining room curtains

Nursery curtains

Kitchen cafe curtains

Bathroom privacy curtains

Office window panels

Door curtains

Floor-to-ceiling drapes

Extra-long curtains for high ceilings

Farmhouse window treatments

Cottagecore botanical curtains

Rustic country curtains

Earthy boho curtains

Organic modern window panels

The pale oatmeal base keeps the design light and adaptable, while the rust and terracotta embroidery adds warmth without overwhelming the room.

MADE TO ORDER

Every curtain is individually cut and sewn to the selected size, lining and heading specifications.

Because the embroidered design has a natural scattered repeat, the exact placement of each botanical sprig will vary between panels and sizes. Two curtains ordered as a pair will be coordinated and cut with care, but they may not be perfectly mirror-imaged.

Minor variations are part of the made-to-order character of the product.

MEASURING THE HEIGHT

Install or determine the final position of your curtain rod or track before measuring.

For rod-pocket, back-tab and grommet curtains, measure from the point where the top of the curtain will sit to the desired bottom edge.

For hooks-top curtains, measure from the appropriate hanging point of the track glider or curtain ring to the desired bottom edge.

For floor-length curtains, decide whether you prefer:

A floating finish slightly above the floor

A floor-touching finish

A small break at the floor

A decorative puddled finish

Measure more than once and use the smallest consistent measurement when the floor or ceiling is uneven.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Professional dry cleaning is recommended to protect the pure linen fabric, embroidery, heading construction and optional lining.

Avoid harsh bleach, strong stain removers and aggressive scrubbing.

Do not cut loose embroidery threads. If a small thread appears raised, gently guide it back into place rather than pulling it.

Linen naturally creases during packaging and transportation. Light creasing generally relaxes after hanging. A handheld steamer may be used carefully from the reverse side at a safe distance, following the appliance manufacturer’s instructions.

For lined curtains, avoid pressing directly over embroidery or blackout coating.
