Rust Red Floral Linen Curtains, Natural Beige Jacobean Embroidered Drapes, Custom Blackout Living Room Panels
Bring warm, heritage-inspired character to your windows with these rust red floral linen curtains, handmade from thick and heavy pure linen embroidered fabric. The natural beige linen background is covered with intricate rust, terracotta and brick-red botanical embroidery, creating an elegant statement curtain with the richness of vintage Jacobean textiles and the relaxed texture of natural linen.
The embroidery features gracefully winding vines, stylized floral blossoms, small rosette-like flowers, fern-shaped foliage, outlined leaves and large ornamental blooms. Fine embroidered lines form a detailed, airy botanical composition while allowing the warm oatmeal linen base to remain visible. The result is decorative and distinctive without appearing overly dense or visually heavy.
The base is best described as natural beige, oatmeal, flax or light tan linen. The embroidery is a warm rust red with terracotta, brick and burnt sienna undertones. These earthy shades work beautifully with cream, ivory, taupe, camel, walnut wood, antique brass, black metal, terracotta pottery, olive green, warm white and other natural home decor colors.
These embroidered linen drapes are well suited to vintage, farmhouse, cottage, French country, traditional, Arts and Crafts, grandmillennial, rustic, bohemian and warm transitional interiors. They can be used as living room curtains, bedroom curtains, dining room drapes, kitchen curtains, guest room curtains or decorative window panels for a home office, library or sitting room.

HEADING STYLE OPTIONS
Hooks Top
Designed for use with curtain hooks and compatible with both curtain rods and curtain tracks. This option creates a tailored appearance and works well where curtains need to move easily along a track or rings.
Back Tabs
Hidden fabric tabs are sewn behind the curtain heading. The rod passes through these tabs, creating a clean front appearance with structured folds and no visible loops.
Rod Pocket
A sewn pocket at the top allows the curtain rod to pass directly through the fabric. This creates a soft, gathered appearance and works particularly well for relaxed farmhouse, cottage and traditional interiors.
Grommets
Metal eyelets are fitted across the heading so the curtain can slide directly onto a rod. Grommets create even folds and a clean, contemporary hanging style.
Your required heading style must be written in the order details email.
LINING OPTIONS
Unlined
The unlined curtain has the most natural and relaxed appearance. Light passes softly through the linen, highlighting the embroidered floral pattern and woven texture.
When unlined, the curtains are semi-sheer privacy curtains. They soften direct sunlight and provide a degree of daytime privacy while keeping the room bright and airy. Because the fabric is semi-sheer, silhouettes may remain visible at night when interior lights are switched on.
Organic Cotton Light-Filtering Liner
The organic cotton liner adds body, privacy and opacity while allowing soft filtered daylight to enter the room.
This option makes the curtains completely opaque, prevents the window or objects behind the fabric from being clearly visible and gives the curtains a fuller, more structured drape. It is ideal for living rooms, dining rooms, guest rooms, kitchens and bedrooms where privacy is important but some natural light is still preferred.
100% Blackout Liner
The blackout option uses an OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, non-toxic polycotton liner made from 50% cotton and 50% polyester.
This liner blocks light passing through the curtain fabric completely and provides maximum privacy. It is particularly suitable for bedrooms, nurseries, children’s rooms, media rooms, home theaters, shift workers and light-sensitive sleepers.
For the darkest possible room, the curtains should extend beyond the sides and top of the window so that light cannot enter through gaps around the edges.
Please write one of the following liner choices in the order details email:

Organic Cotton Light Filtering
100% Blackout
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR 100-INCH-WIDE CURTAINS
A 100-inch-wide curtain will be constructed by carefully joining two 50-inch-wide sections of embroidered linen.
This means that each 100-inch-wide curtain will have one vertical joining seam. The seam is professionally finished and positioned to blend into the embroidered fabric. Once the curtain is installed and arranged into natural folds, the seam is barely visible.
The seam is necessary because the decorative fabric is produced in a limited loom width and cannot be cut as one continuous 100-inch-wide piece.
CAFE CURTAINS
We can also make cafe curtains from this natural beige and rust embroidered linen fabric.
Cafe curtains are ideal for kitchen windows, breakfast nooks, pantry windows, laundry rooms, bathrooms, cottage windows and other spaces where you want privacy across the lower portion of the window while keeping the upper section open to daylight.
For custom cafe curtains, select the next available size above your required measurements and write the exact finished width and length in the order details email. Also specify your preferred heading style and liner option.
HOW TO CHOOSE THE CURTAIN WIDTH
Measure the full width of your curtain rod or track, excluding decorative finials.
For a lightly gathered appearance, the combined curtain width should generally be approximately 1.5 times the rod or track width.
For a fuller and more luxurious appearance, the combined curtain width should generally be approximately 2 times the rod or track width.
Example:
For a 50-inch-wide rod, approximately 75 inches of combined curtain width creates lighter fullness, while approximately 100 inches creates richer folds.
The best fullness may vary depending on your chosen heading style and personal preference.
HOW TO MEASURE THE LENGTH
For Hooks Top, measure from the top of the installed curtain rod or track to where you want the curtains to end. For Hooks top only, subtract 1 in (2.54 cm) once from this measurement because the curtains hang slightly below the rod.
For Back Tabs, measure from the top of the curtain rod to the desired finished position.
For Rod Pocket, measure from the top of the curtain rod to the desired finished position.
For Grommets, measure from the top of the installed curtain rod or track to where you want the curtains to end. Do not add an allowance above the eyelets.
Decide whether you would like the curtains to finish at the windowsill, below the sill, just above the floor, lightly touching the floor or gently pooling.
Measure each window carefully, as floors, rods and window frames are not always perfectly level.

HANDMADE CHARACTER
Each curtain is individually made to order. Minor variations in embroidery placement may occur depending on the selected width, length and position from which the fabric is cut.
Natural linen may contain subtle slubs, fine irregular yarns and small variations in weave. These are characteristic features of genuine linen and should not be considered defects.
Colors may appear slightly different depending on daylight, artificial lighting, photography and individual screen settings. Ordering a fabric sample before placing a large custom order is recommended when an exact color match is essential.
