Pure Linen Curtains, Camel Tan & Charcoal Tribal Stripe, Heavy Boho Geometric Drapes, Custom Blackout or Light Filtering Panels
Transform your windows with these custom-made, thick and heavy pure linen curtains featuring a striking tribal-inspired striped pattern in warm camel tan, earthy brown, deep charcoal black and softly contrasting flax-grey tones.
The fabric has a bold yet sophisticated vertical layout composed of broad camel-tan and warm brown stripes alternating with narrower charcoal sections. Within the charcoal stripes are closely spaced horizontal flax-grey and muted beige markings, producing a textured, broken-line effect reminiscent of handwoven tribal textiles, African mudcloth patterns and vintage artisan weaving.
From a distance, the design reads as a strong vertical stripe, helping visually elongate the window and emphasise the height of the room. Viewed closely, the fine horizontal lines, slight colour variations and irregular woven-style detailing reveal the more intricate geometric character of the pattern.
The overall colour palette is warm, earthy and grounded rather than bright or highly saturated. The main brown tone appears as camel tan, tobacco brown and muted caramel, while the darker sections are deep charcoal rather than harsh solid black. The smaller contrasting markings appear in flax grey, taupe and subdued natural beige.
These linen curtain panels are ideal for bohemian, tribal, African-inspired, Southwestern, organic modern, modern rustic, earthy minimalist, eclectic, lodge, cabin, industrial, mid-century and contemporary interiors.
They work beautifully as:
Living room curtains
Bedroom curtains
Dining room drapes
Home office curtains
Floor-to-ceiling curtains
Extra-long curtains
Large window treatments
Blackout bedroom curtains
Decorative window panels
Doorway curtains
Studio or loft curtains
Cafe curtains
Kitchen curtains
Bathroom privacy curtains
Rustic cabin curtains
Bohemian window treatments
THICK AND HEAVY PURE LINEN FABRIC
The main curtain fabric is pure linen with a thick, substantial and heavy construction.
The supplied fabric weight of 403 grams per linear metre at a fabric width of 54 inches, approximately 137 cm, converts to approximately 294 GSM.
This heavier linen weight gives the curtains a substantial feel and helps them hang in rich, natural folds. The fabric is not a lightweight gauze or thin linen voile. It has enough body to display the geometric stripe pattern clearly while retaining the natural texture and relaxed character associated with pure linen.
The visible weave, subtle yarn variation and softly uneven printed detailing form part of the fabric’s organic appearance. Natural linen may contain minor slubs, thicker yarn areas and small textural variations. These are normal characteristics of the fibre and should not be considered manufacturing defects.
The face fabric is pure linen.
FABRIC COLOUR AND PATTERN
The curtain fabric contains the following principal colours:
Warm camel tan
Muted caramel brown
Tobacco brown
Deep charcoal black
Flax grey
Natural taupe
Subdued beige accents
The pattern consists of alternating vertical stripes.
Broad camel-tan bands create the warm foundation of the design. These are separated by charcoal-black bands filled with narrow, broken horizontal lines in grey, beige and flax tones.
The horizontal markings are intentionally fine and closely spaced. They give the charcoal areas a woven, textured appearance rather than looking like plain flat black stripes.
The combination creates a geometric tribal pattern with influences from mudcloth textiles, handloom fabric, Southwestern stripes and African-inspired decorative designs.
The stripe repeat is bold enough to make a visual statement while the muted colour palette allows the curtains to coordinate easily with natural and neutral furnishings.
Recommended coordinating colours and materials include:
Warm white walls
Cream upholstery
Oatmeal linen furniture
Natural jute rugs
Walnut furniture
Dark-stained wood
Black metal curtain rods
Aged brass accessories
Tan or cognac leather
Terracotta pottery
Stone and concrete finishes
Natural oak
Rattan and cane furniture
Camel, beige, charcoal and rust cushions
Please allow for slight differences in colour caused by screen settings, photography, room lighting and separate fabric production batches.
SINGLE CURTAIN OR PAIR OF CURTAINS
These custom linen curtains can be purchased as:
One single curtain panel
A pair or set of two matching curtain panels
The selected size refers to the finished size of each individual curtain panel.
For example:
If you select “Single Curtain” in 50 inches wide by 96 inches high, you will receive one curtain measuring approximately 50 × 96 inches.
If you select “Pair of Curtains” in 50 inches wide by 96 inches high, you will receive two separate curtain panels, each measuring approximately 50 × 96 inches.
The combined flat width of the pair in this example would be approximately 100 inches before gathering.
AVAILABLE WIDTHS
50 inches wide per panel – approximately 127 cm
100 inches wide per panel – approximately 254 cm
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR 100-INCH-WIDE CURTAIN PANELS
The base fabric is woven at approximately 54 inches wide. Therefore, every finished curtain panel ordered in the 100-inch width will be constructed by carefully joining two approximately 50-inch-wide fabric panels.
This produces one vertical joining seam within each 100-inch-wide finished curtain.
The fabric will be joined neatly, and the pattern will be aligned as closely as the fabric repeat permits. Once the curtain is installed, gathered and arranged into folds, the centre seam is generally barely visible.
The joining seam is a necessary and normal construction detail for an extra-wide curtain made from this fabric. It is not considered a defect.
When ordering a pair of 100-inch-wide curtains, each individual 100-inch panel will contain its own joining seam.
AVAILABLE CURTAIN HEIGHTS
36 inches – approximately 91 cm
48 inches – approximately 122 cm
60 inches – approximately 152 cm
72 inches – approximately 183 cm
84 inches – approximately 213 cm
96 inches – approximately 244 cm
108 inches – approximately 274 cm
120 inches – approximately 305 cm
132 inches – approximately 335 cm
144 inches – approximately 366 cm
156 inches – approximately 396 cm
168 inches – approximately 427 cm
180 inches – approximately 457 cm
The wide height range makes these curtains suitable for standard windows, short windows, tall living-room windows, floor-to-ceiling installations, high ceilings, lofts and double-height rooms.
CUSTOM CURTAIN SIZES
Custom widths and heights are available.
To order a custom size:
1. Measure the exact finished width and height required for each individual curtain panel.
2. Select the next available standard size that is equal to or larger than your required measurements.
3. Enter the exact finished dimensions in the order details email.
4. Confirm whether the dimensions are for each individual curtain or for the combined width of a pair.
5. Include your required heading style.
6. Include your required lining option.
Example:
If you require each curtain to measure 46 inches wide by 89 inches high, select the 50-inch width and 96-inch height option. Then write “Finished size of each curtain: 46 inches wide × 89 inches high” in the order details email.
Please do not select a standard size smaller than the custom size required.
LINING OPTIONS
These curtains are available in three lining configurations:
Unlined
Organic cotton light-filtering lined
OEKO-TEX certified 100% blackout lined
UNLINED CURTAINS
The unlined version retains the most natural appearance and drape of the pure linen fabric.
When unlined, the curtains are semi-sheer. They soften incoming daylight and provide a moderate degree of daytime privacy while allowing some light to pass through the fabric.
The printed tribal stripe pattern remains clearly visible from the front. When sunlight comes through the curtain, the colours may appear slightly lighter and the linen weave may become more noticeable.
Unlined curtains are recommended for:
Living rooms
Dining rooms
Home offices
Decorative window treatments
Rooms where natural daylight is preferred
Layering over blinds or shades
Low-privacy areas
Curtains used mainly for decoration
Because the unlined fabric is semi-sheer, shapes and silhouettes may be visible from outside at night when the interior lights are switched on.
ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT-FILTERING LINER
The organic cotton lining provides additional body, opacity and privacy while continuing to allow softly diffused daylight into the room.
With this liner, the curtain becomes opaque and offers significantly greater privacy than the unlined version. The lining also gives the linen curtain a fuller, more structured drape.
The organic cotton light-filtering liner is recommended for:
Living rooms requiring privacy
Dining rooms
Guest bedrooms
Home offices
Street-facing windows
Family rooms
Rooms where complete blackout is unnecessary
Buyers wanting a natural-fibre lining option
The cotton liner will soften incoming light rather than creating complete darkness.
100% BLACKOUT LINER
The blackout option uses a non-toxic, OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified polycotton liner made from:
50% cotton
50% polyester
The blackout lining blocks light completely through the covered fabric area and provides the highest level of privacy.
It is recommended for:
Bedrooms
Nurseries
Children’s rooms
Media rooms
Home cinemas
Night-shift sleepers
Street-facing rooms
Rooms affected by strong sunlight
Spaces where maximum darkness is required
The blackout liner also adds additional body and weight to the curtains, creating a fuller and more substantial finished window treatment.
A small amount of light may still enter around the top, sides or bottom of the curtains depending on the curtain installation, rod placement, wall clearance and selected heading style. For the darkest result, install the rod above and beyond the sides of the window opening and use sufficient curtain fullness.
AVAILABLE HEADING STYLES
Four curtain heading styles are available:
Hooks top
Back tabs
Rod pocket
Grommets
The required heading style must be entered in the order details email.
HOOKS TOP
The hooks-top heading is made with curtain heading tape sewn onto the reverse of the curtain.
Curtain hooks can be inserted into the heading tape, making this option compatible with:
Curtain tracks
Curtain rails
Curtain rods fitted with rings and hooks
This is a versatile heading suitable for both traditional and modern interiors. It creates neat, adjustable gathering and works particularly well on wide or tall windows.
Please note that the listing term “hooks top” refers to curtain heading tape designed to accept hooks.
BACK TABS
Back tabs are fabric loops sewn discreetly onto the reverse side of the curtain header.
The curtain rod slides through these hidden tabs, leaving the front of the curtain clean and uninterrupted.
Back-tab curtains create soft, regular folds and are ideal for:
Modern interiors
Organic modern homes
Earthy minimalist rooms
Bedrooms
Living rooms
Decorative rods
A clean, tailored appearance
Back tabs are designed for curtain rods and are not intended for track installation.
ROD POCKET
A fabric channel is sewn across the curtain header so the rod can slide directly through the top of the curtain.
Rod-pocket curtains create a soft, gathered appearance and are particularly suitable for:
Bohemian interiors
Rustic rooms
Decorative curtain rods
Small windows
Kitchen windows
Cafe curtains
Stationary or lightly operated curtains
Please ensure that the rod diameter is suitable for the finished rod-pocket opening.
GROMMETS
Metal grommets are fitted across the curtain header, allowing the curtain rod to pass directly through the eyelets.
This heading creates broad, even folds and allows the curtains to slide easily across the rod.
Grommet curtains are suitable for:
Modern living rooms
Bedrooms
Large windows
Contemporary interiors
Frequently opened curtains
Wide decorative rods
Grommets are intended for use with a curtain rod and are not compatible with a curtain track.

Any additional custom instructions
Example:
“Pair of curtains. Each curtain to measure 50 inches wide × 96 inches high. Back-tab heading. Organic cotton light-filtering liner.”
Missing heading or lining information may delay production while we contact you for clarification.
HOW TO MEASURE THE CURTAIN WIDTH
Measure the usable width of the installed curtain rod or track rather than measuring only the glass.
Curtains need additional width to create attractive folds when closed.
For light gathering:
Order a combined flat curtain width of approximately 1.5 times the rod or track width.
For a fuller appearance:
Order a combined flat curtain width of approximately twice the rod or track width.
Example:
For a 72-inch-wide rod, a combined flat curtain width of approximately 108 to 144 inches will create gathering.
When ordering a pair, divide the required combined width between two panels.
A pair of 72-inch-wide panels would provide a combined flat width of 144 inches.
The listed curtain width is the flat finished width before gathering. It is not the width after the curtain has been gathered onto the rod.
HOW TO MEASURE THE CURTAIN HEIGHT
First decide where the curtain should finish.
Common finishing positions include:
At the windowsill
Below the windowsill
Just above the floor
Lightly touching the floor
Resting slightly on the floor
With an intentional decorative puddle
For hooks-top curtains:
Measure from the top of the installed curtain rod or track to where you want the curtains to end. For Hooks top only, subtract 1 in (2.54 cm) once from this measurement because the curtains hang slightly below the rod.
For back-tab curtains:
Measure from the top of the curtain rod to the desired finishing point.
For rod-pocket curtains:
Measure from the top of the installed curtain rod or track to where you want the curtains to end.
For grommet curtains:
Measure from the top of the installed curtain rod or track to where you want the curtains to end. Do not add an allowance above the eyelets.
Always measure each window separately, even when two windows appear identical.
CUSTOM CAFE CURTAINS
This fabric can also be made into custom cafe curtains.
Cafe curtains are shorter window panels designed to cover the lower part of a window while leaving the upper section open for daylight.
They are ideal for:
Kitchen windows
Breakfast rooms
Bathroom windows
Utility rooms
Laundry rooms
Pantry windows
Small cottage windows
Door windows
Street-facing lower windows
Cafe curtains provide privacy at eye level while keeping the room bright and open.
They can be ordered as a single cafe curtain or a pair. Rod-pocket and back-tab headings are especially suitable for cafe-curtain installations, although other heading styles can also be requested where practical.
To order cafe curtains, select the next larger available standard size and enter the exact finished cafe-curtain measurements in the order details email.
PATTERN PLACEMENT AND MATCHING
The exact position of the camel-tan and charcoal stripes may vary according to the selected width and the point at which the fabric is cut.
For a pair of curtains, the pattern placement will be coordinated as closely as reasonably possible.
For 100-inch-wide curtains, the pattern will be aligned carefully across the joining seam wherever the fabric repeat permits.
Due to the nature of the design and the width of the repeat, exact mirror-image placement cannot always be guaranteed.
Slight differences in stripe positioning are a normal feature of custom-made curtains and do not affect their overall appearance once installed and gathered.
CURTAIN FULLNESS
The curtains are supplied in the flat finished width selected from the menu.
The amount of visual fullness depends on:
The total flat curtain width ordered
The width of the rod or track
Whether one panel or a pair is used
The chosen heading style
How tightly the curtains are gathered
For a rich, luxurious appearance, we recommend ordering sufficient combined width to produce visible folds even when the curtains are closed.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Professional dry cleaning is recommended to help preserve:
The pure linen fabric
The printed pattern
The lining
The curtain heading
The custom measurements
Avoid bleach and harsh stain-removal products.
Do not soak the curtains.
Avoid high-temperature tumble drying, which may cause shrinkage or distortion.
Minor creasing can be reduced using a garment steamer on a gentle setting. Steam from the reverse side where possible and avoid holding the steamer too close to the printed surface.
Natural linen develops a relaxed, softly creased appearance, which forms part of its character.
