Measure for your curtains

Enter your width and height together, then apply your measurements.

Size-dropdown widths are flat fabric widths per curtain.

A gathered curtain covers less space than its flat fabric width. Choose fullness below; Grommet/Eyelet and Pinch pleats always need 2× your coverage width.

This selection also updates Heading style on the product page.

Choose your fullness

Multiply the rod / track coverage by your fullness, then divide by the number of curtains.

Photorealistic fullness examples; actual folds vary with fabric and heading.

Measure the usable span of your installed rod or track, from one end of the curtain coverage to the other. Exclude decorative finials.

A pair contains two curtains. The flat fabric width you order is per curtain, not the combined pair. Choosing a curtain count here updates Panel quantity on the product page.

Enter the full measured drop. For Hooks top only, we subtract 1 in (2.54 cm) because the curtain hangs slightly below the rod. Do not deduct it yourself.

Apply your measurements

We select the exact available flat-width × finished-height size, or the closest larger size fitting both dimensions. For a larger size, your exact request is added to Custom sizes / requirements, preserving your own notes. Your curtain-count choice also updates Panel quantity on the product page.

Review your heading and fullness before applying. This updates your selected size but does not add anything to your cart.

Measure the space your curtains will cover

Measure the usable span of your installed rod or track, from one end of the curtain coverage to the other. Exclude decorative finials.

Measure the usable rod or track span—not the window glass or decorative finials.

Example: a 100 in (254 cm) rod, two curtains and 2× fullness need 100 in (254 cm) flat width per curtain.

Flat fabric width before gathering or pleating—not the hanging coverage.

Measure from the top of the rod to your chosen bottom

Measure straight down from the top of your installed curtain rod to where you want the curtains to end. For a track, use the top of the installed track.

Start at the top of the rod or track. Stop at your chosen bottom.

Powder Blue Pure Linen Jacquard Curtains, Silver Grey Geometric Trellis Drapes, Custom Extra Long Blackout Option

Product description

POWDER BLUE PURE LINEN JACQUARD CURTAINS WITH A SILVER-GREY GEOMETRIC TRELLIS PATTERN

Introduce calm colour, luxurious woven texture and an elegant architectural pattern to your windows with these custom-made powder blue pure linen jacquard curtains.

The thick and heavy linen fabric features a soft powder-blue to icy blue-grey ground with a beautifully weathered woven effect in pearl white, mist grey, silver grey and pale slate blue. Fine steel-blue and darker grey outlines create a large repeating geometric trellis across the surface.

The pattern is composed of elongated hexagons, tapered diamonds and vertically linked geometric frames. Its clean structure gives the fabric a modern Art Deco influence, while the softly distressed texture keeps the design subtle, relaxed and easy to coordinate with a wide range of interiors.

Depending on the room lighting and viewing angle, the background may appear powder blue, pale grey-blue, icy blue, mist blue or soft silver grey. The raised geometric outlines may appear steel blue, slate grey, pewter or cool charcoal grey.

These pure linen jacquard curtains are individually made to order and are available as one single curtain panel or as a pair/set of two matching panels.

Choose from an unlined finish, an organic cotton light-filtering liner or an OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified 100% blackout polycotton liner.

COLOUR AND PATTERN

Main background colour:

A soft powder blue with icy blue, mist blue, pale silver and cool grey undertones.

Woven secondary colours:

Pearl white, silver grey, cloudy blue-grey, pale slate and softly weathered grey.

Geometric outline colour:

Steel blue, slate grey, pewter grey and muted charcoal-blue.

Pattern style:

A large-scale repeating geometric trellis made from elongated hexagons, tapered diamonds and vertically connected architectural shapes.

The pattern is woven directly into the fabric rather than printed onto the surface. This jacquard construction creates visible depth, raised texture and subtle colour changes as light moves across the curtain.

From a distance, the design appears as an organised geometric lattice. When viewed closely, the softly mottled woven surface, linen texture and layered blue-grey threads become more noticeable.

The weathered areas within each geometric shape are intentional and form part of the woven design. They create a softly aged, painterly appearance and should not be mistaken for fading, uneven printing or fabric damage.

The overall colour should be viewed as a layered combination of powder blue, icy blue-grey, silver grey and pearl white rather than one completely flat shade.

Please remember that colours may appear slightly different depending on:

• Natural daylight
• Warm or cool artificial lighting
• The direction from which the fabric is viewed
• Surrounding wall and furniture colours
• Screen brightness and colour calibration
• Photography and camera settings

PURE LINEN JACQUARD FABRIC

These curtains are made from thick and heavy pure linen jacquard fabric.

Jacquard fabric is created by weaving the pattern directly into the textile. The geometric design is therefore an integral part of the fabric rather than a surface print.

The woven construction provides:

• A substantial and luxurious drape
• A tactile, raised geometric pattern
• Natural depth and colour variation
• A structured appearance when gathered
• A softly reflective woven surface
• Greater visual richness than a flat printed fabric
• Beautiful interaction with changing light

The substantial linen fabric forms rich, attractive folds when installed with suitable fullness. The pale blue-grey background and darker geometric outlines move naturally across the folds, allowing different parts of the pattern to become visible as the curtains are opened or closed.

Natural linen can contain occasional slubs, fine yarn variations, thicker threads and small irregularities. These are normal characteristics of genuine linen fibres and should not be considered defects.

FABRIC WEIGHT

The supplied fabric weight is 403 grams per linear metre at a fabric width of 54 inches.

A fabric width of 54 inches equals approximately 1.3716 metres.

The approximate GSM calculation is:

403 grams ÷ 1.3716 square metres = approximately 294 grams per square metre

The pure linen jacquard fabric therefore weighs approximately 294 GSM.

This substantial weight gives the curtain body and structure while retaining the natural movement, texture and character associated with pure linen.

Adding an organic cotton or blackout liner will make the completed curtain heavier, fuller and more structured.

SINGLE CURTAIN PANEL OR PAIR

These curtains can be purchased as:

• One single curtain panel
• A pair or set of two matching curtain panels

Please check the selected quantity carefully before placing your order.

Selecting “Single Panel” provides one curtain in the selected width and height.

Selecting “Pair” or “Set of 2” provides two separate curtain panels, with each panel made in the selected width and height.

The width shown in the variation menu is the flat finished width of each individual curtain panel before gathering.

Examples:

• One 50-inch-wide panel provides 50 inches of flat curtain width
• A pair of 50-inch-wide panels provides 100 inches of combined flat width
• One 100-inch-wide panel provides 100 inches of flat curtain width
• A pair of 100-inch-wide panels provides 200 inches of combined flat width

Curtains occupy less horizontal space after they are gathered or arranged into folds on the curtain rod or track.

AVAILABLE WIDTHS

The standard finished-width options are:

• 50 inches wide / approximately 127 cm per panel
• 100 inches wide / approximately 254 cm per panel

The selected width refers to the flat finished width of each individual curtain panel before gathering.

For example, selecting a pair of 50-inch-wide curtains provides two separate panels measuring 50 inches wide each, giving a combined flat width of 100 inches.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT 100-INCH-WIDE PANELS

Every 100-inch-wide curtain panel will be made by joining two approximately 50-inch-wide fabric sections.

There will therefore be one carefully sewn vertical joining seam near the middle of each 100-inch-wide curtain panel.

The seam is generally barely visible after the curtain has been:

• Installed on the curtain rod or track
• Gathered to the appropriate fullness
• Arranged into natural folds
• Viewed from a normal distance

This construction method is necessary because the original linen jacquard fabric is woven in a limited loom width.

If you purchase one 100-inch-wide panel, that panel will contain one joining seam.

If you purchase a pair of 100-inch-wide panels, each individual curtain panel will contain its own joining seam.

We will align the geometric design across the joined fabric widths as carefully as reasonably possible. However, exact pattern matching at the seam may vary according to the size of the fabric repeat, the selected heading style and the finished measurements ordered.

AVAILABLE HEIGHTS

Standard finished curtain heights are available from 36 inches to 180 inches in 12-inch increments:

• 36 inches / approximately 91 cm
• 48 inches / approximately 122 cm
• 60 inches / approximately 152 cm
• 72 inches / approximately 183 cm
• 84 inches / approximately 213 cm
• 96 inches / approximately 244 cm
• 108 inches / approximately 274 cm
• 120 inches / approximately 305 cm
• 132 inches / approximately 335 cm
• 144 inches / approximately 366 cm
• 156 inches / approximately 396 cm
• 168 inches / approximately 427 cm
• 180 inches / approximately 457 cm

The extra-long height options are suitable for:

• Floor-to-ceiling curtains
• Tall living room windows
• High-ceiling bedrooms
• Double-height rooms
• Two-storey windows
• Loft apartments
• Large picture windows
• French doors
• Formal dining rooms
• Oversized custom window treatments
• Extra-long living room drapes

CUSTOM CURTAIN SIZES

Custom widths and custom heights can also be made.

To order a customised size:

1. Measure the exact finished width and height required for each curtain panel.
2. Select the next available standard width and height larger than your required measurements.
3. Enter the exact required finished measurements in the order details email.
4. Clearly state whether the measurements are in inches or centimetres.
5. Enter your preferred heading style.
6. Enter your preferred lining option.
7. Mention whether the order is for one single panel or a pair.
8. Include any other important customisation instructions.

Example:

If each curtain needs to measure 46 inches wide by 90 inches high, select the 50-inch width and 96-inch height.

Enter the following information in the order details email:

Finished size required: 46 inches wide × 90 inches high per panel
Quantity: Pair
Heading: Back Tabs
Lining: Organic Cotton Light Filtering

Please select the next available size up rather than a smaller option. The purchased size must provide enough fabric to make your exact required finished dimensions.

If your measurements fall between two available options, always select the larger option and write the precise finished measurements in the order details email.

LINING OPTIONS

These powder blue pure linen jacquard curtains are available with three lining choices:

1. Unlined
2. Organic Cotton Light-Filtering Lined
3. 100% Blackout OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Certified Polycotton Lined

Your chosen lining option must be entered in the order details email when placing the order.

1. UNLINED CURTAINS

The unlined option preserves the natural movement, woven texture and softly filtered appearance of the pure linen jacquard fabric.

When unlined, these curtains provide semi-sheer privacy. They soften the view through the window while allowing natural daylight to filter gently into the room.

Although the linen jacquard is thick and substantial, some light can pass through it when the fabric is strongly backlit.

The precise level of transparency will depend on:

• The strength and direction of the sunlight
• The amount of curtain fullness
• Whether the curtains are viewed during the day or at night
• The brightness of the room behind the curtains
• Whether interior lights are switched on
• The distance between the curtain and the window

During daylight hours, the unlined curtains provide moderate privacy while keeping the room naturally bright.

At night, particularly when interior lights are switched on, silhouettes or shadows may be visible from outside. A lined option is recommended where complete nighttime privacy is required.

Choose the unlined option when you prefer:

• The most natural linen appearance
• Softly filtered daylight
• Semi-sheer privacy
• A lighter completed curtain
• Decorative curtain panels
• Curtains layered with an existing blind or Roman shade
• A relaxed and natural drape
• Maximum visibility of the woven jacquard texture

2. ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT-FILTERING LINER

The organic cotton light-filtering liner provides additional privacy, opacity, body and structure while still allowing softly diffused natural light into the room.

Adding the organic cotton liner makes the completed curtain completely opaque under normal viewing conditions. The main jacquard fabric will no longer appear semi-sheer.

The cotton lining supports the heavy linen fabric and helps the curtains form fuller and more structured folds.

The organic cotton liner:

• Makes the completed curtain opaque
• Provides greater daytime privacy
• Provides greater nighttime privacy
• Softens incoming daylight
• Adds body and structure
• Supports the heavy jacquard fabric
• Creates fuller and more defined folds
• Reduces the visibility of shadows from outside
• Maintains a softly illuminated room

This option is suitable for:

• Living rooms
• Dining rooms
• Bedrooms
• Guest rooms
• Nurseries
• Home offices
• Street-facing windows
• Rooms where privacy is important
• Spaces where natural daylight is still desired

Please note that the organic cotton liner is light filtering rather than blackout.

Daylight will continue to enter through the completed curtain, but it will be softened and diffused. Choose this lining when you want complete visual opacity and privacy without making the room completely dark.

3. 100% BLACKOUT OEKO-TEX CERTIFIED LINER

The blackout option uses a non-toxic OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified polycotton blackout liner composed of:

• 50% cotton
• 50% polyester

This specialised liner blocks light from passing through the body of the curtain and makes the completed curtain fully opaque.

The blackout option is recommended for:

• Bedrooms
• Nurseries
• Children’s rooms
• Guest bedrooms
• Media rooms
• Home cinemas
• Shift workers
• Street-facing windows
• Rooms receiving strong direct sunlight
• Spaces requiring maximum privacy
• Rooms where darkness is important for sleep

The blackout liner prevents light from passing through the curtain fabric itself.

A small amount of light may still enter around the top, sides, bottom or centre opening depending on the curtain installation, selected width and amount of overlap.

This is light entering around the curtains rather than passing through the blackout-lined fabric.

For the darkest possible result:

• Order generous curtain fullness
• Extend the rod or track beyond both sides of the window
• Install the rod or track above the top of the window frame
• Allow the two curtains to overlap at the centre
• Select a length that fully covers the window
• Position the curtains close to the wall where practical
• Ensure the panels cover the entire window opening

AVAILABLE HEADING STYLES

Four curtain heading styles are available:

1. Hooks Top
2. Back Tabs
3. Rod Pocket
4. Grommets

The required heading style must be entered in the order details email when placing the order.

1. HOOKS TOP

The hooks-top heading is compatible with both curtain rods and curtain tracks.

For installation on a curtain rod, the curtain hooks can be attached to suitable curtain rings fitted to the rod.

For installation on a curtain track, the hooks can be connected to the runners or gliders fitted to the track.

Hooks top is suitable for:

• Curtain tracks
• Decorative rods fitted with rings
• Ceiling-mounted tracks
• Wall-mounted tracks
• Curtains that need to open and close regularly
• Traditional interiors
• Contemporary interiors
• Large or tall windows

This is the most versatile heading option for customers who need compatibility with either a curtain track or a rod-and-ring arrangement.

2. BACK TABS

Back tabs are fabric loops sewn onto the reverse of the curtain heading.

The curtain rod passes through the concealed tabs, allowing most of the rod to remain hidden when viewed from the front.

Back-tab curtains create:

• Soft and evenly spaced folds
• A clean tailored appearance
• Minimal visible hardware
• A simple modern finish
• A gently structured drape

Back tabs are intended for installation on a curtain rod and cannot be attached directly to a standard curtain track.

3. ROD POCKET

A rod pocket is a sewn fabric channel running across the top of the curtain.

The curtain rod slides directly through the pocket, creating a softly gathered and relaxed appearance.

Rod-pocket curtains are particularly suitable for:

• Decorative curtain rods
• Living room curtains
• Bedroom curtains
• Smaller windows
• Short curtains
• Layered window treatments
• Curtains that do not need to be opened frequently
• Custom cafe curtains

Please ensure that the curtain rod diameter is suitable for the rod-pocket opening.

4. GROMMETS

Grommets, also known as eyelets, are rings fitted across the top of the curtain.

The curtain rod passes directly through the grommets, creating broad and evenly spaced folds.

Grommet curtains provide:

• A clean contemporary appearance
• Deep wave-like folds
• Easy opening and closing
• Visible decorative hardware
• A modern window-treatment style

Grommet curtains require a curtain rod and cannot be attached directly to a standard curtain track.

Please ensure that the curtain rod diameter is compatible with the grommet opening.

CURTAIN FULLNESS

The selected curtain width is the flat finished width of each individual panel before gathering.

For an attractive gathered appearance, the combined flat width of the curtains should normally be wider than the usable width of the curtain rod or track.

As a general guide:

• Approximately 1.5 times fullness creates a relaxed contemporary appearance
• Approximately 2 times fullness creates deeper folds and a fuller, more luxurious appearance

Example for a 50-inch-wide curtain rod:

• One 50-inch-wide panel provides nearly flat coverage with minimal gathering
• A pair of 50-inch-wide panels provides 100 inches of combined flat width and approximately twice fullness

Example for a 100-inch-wide curtain rod:

• A pair of 100-inch-wide panels provides 200 inches of combined flat width and approximately twice fullness

Greater fullness creates deeper folds and allows the large powder-blue and silver-grey geometric pattern to flow attractively across the window.

Lower fullness creates a flatter appearance and displays more complete sections of the elongated trellis design.

HOW TO MEASURE THE CURTAIN WIDTH

1. Measure the usable width of the curtain rod or track, excluding decorative finials.
2. Decide whether you prefer approximately 1.5 times or 2 times fullness.
3. Multiply the usable rod or track width by your preferred fullness.
4. Divide the resulting combined width by the number of curtain panels required.

Example:

Usable curtain rod width: 80 inches
Preferred fullness: 2 times
Recommended combined curtain width: approximately 160 inches

A pair of 100-inch-wide panels would provide 200 inches of combined flat width and create generous fullness.

HOW TO MEASURE THE CURTAIN HEIGHT

Measure from the top of the installed curtain rod or track to where you want the curtains to end. For Hooks top only, subtract 1 in (2.54 cm) once from this measurement because the curtains hang slightly below the rod. Do not deduct or add an allowance for other heading styles.

The correct starting point depends on the chosen heading style:

• Hooks Top: Measure from the top of the installed curtain rod or track to where you want the curtains to end. For Hooks top only, subtract 1 in (2.54 cm) once from this measurement because the curtains hang slightly below the rod.
• Back Tabs: Measure from the top of the curtain rod
• Rod Pocket: Measure from the top of the curtain rod
• Grommets: Measure from the top of the installed curtain rod or track to where you want the curtains to end. Do not add an allowance above the eyelets.

Possible finished curtain lengths include:

• Window-sill length
• Below-sill length
• Apron length
• Floor length
• Lightly touching the floor
• Slightly puddling on the floor

For floor-length curtains, take measurements at several points because curtain rods and floors may not be perfectly level.

CUSTOM CAFE CURTAINS

These pure linen jacquard panels can also be custom made as cafe curtains, kitchen cafe curtains, half-window curtains or short privacy curtains.

Cafe curtains cover the lower section of a window while leaving the upper section open for natural daylight.

They are suitable for:

• Kitchen windows
• Breakfast rooms
• Dining areas
• Bathrooms
• Powder rooms
• Utility rooms
• Pantry windows
• Street-facing windows
• French doors
• Small decorative windows
• Lower-half window privacy

The soft powder-blue, silver-grey and pearl-white colour palette gives these cafe curtains a calm and refined appearance suitable for elegant kitchens, coastal-inspired rooms, contemporary bathrooms and softly coloured dining spaces.

Custom cafe curtains can be made with:

• Rod Pocket
• Back Tabs
• Hooks Top
• Grommets where suitable for the requested dimensions

They can be ordered:

• Unlined
• Organic cotton light-filtering lined
• Blackout lined

To order cafe curtains, select the next available standard size larger than the required finished dimensions and enter the exact cafe-curtain measurements in the order details email.

Example:

Cafe curtain size required: 42 inches wide × 30 inches high per panel
Quantity: Pair
Heading: Rod Pocket
Lining: Unlined

Please clearly state in the order details email that the panels are required as cafe curtains.

PATTERN PLACEMENT

The exact placement of the large geometric trellis may vary according to:

• Curtain width
• Curtain height
• Fabric repeat
• Heading construction
• Custom measurements
• The point from which the fabric is cut
• Whether the panel contains a joining seam

When making a pair of curtains, we will position the design as consistently as reasonably possible. However, exact mirror-image pattern placement cannot always be guaranteed.

The appearance of the geometric design will also change after the curtains are gathered.

Some shapes will remain visible across the front of the folds, while other parts of the pattern will move into the valleys between the folds. This movement gives the woven design a naturally dimensional appearance.
