Powder Blue Linen Curtains, Ivory Jacobean Floral Embroidered Drapes, Custom Blackout Bedroom & Living Room Panels
Bring soft color, intricate botanical detail and the luxurious natural texture of linen into your home with these powder blue linen curtains, handmade from thick and heavy pure linen embroidered fabric. The softly textured blue background is decorated with detailed ivory floral embroidery, creating an elegant custom window treatment that combines the beauty of traditional Jacobean textiles with the relaxed character of natural linen.
The linen base is a soft powder blue with dusty sky-blue, pale denim and subtle gray-blue undertones. It is neither an intense royal blue nor a bright turquoise shade. Its calm, lightly faded appearance gives the fabric a refined and timeless quality that works beautifully in bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens, nurseries, guest rooms and other peaceful interior spaces.
The embroidery is worked in soft ivory and warm off-white thread. It creates a fresh yet gentle contrast against the powder-blue linen without appearing stark. The embroidered threadwork is slightly raised from the woven surface, giving the curtains visible depth, texture and a carefully handcrafted appearance.
The design features graceful trailing vines, stylized Jacobean flowers, rounded rosette blooms, fern-like leaves, outlined foliage, small floral buds and ornamental botanical motifs. The vines travel organically across the fabric rather than appearing in rigid rows, producing an elegant hand-drawn effect with plenty of open blue linen visible between the embroidered elements.
The intricate pattern feels decorative and distinctive without becoming visually overwhelming. From a distance, the curtains create a soft blue-and-ivory botanical impression. At closer range, the fine embroidery reveals individual leaves, petals, stems, stitched outlines and textural details.
These floral embroidered linen curtains are ideal for coastal, cottage, French country, English country, farmhouse, vintage, grandmillennial, botanical, traditional and softly romantic interiors. Their powder-blue and ivory palette can also soften modern or transitional rooms where natural texture and understated pattern are preferred.
The colors pair beautifully with warm white walls, ivory upholstery, cream bedding, natural oak, walnut furniture, antique brass, brushed gold, rattan, jute, pale gray, muted navy, soft sage green, dusty rose and other calm neutral shades.
Use these panels as living room curtains, bedroom curtains, kitchen curtains, nursery curtains, guest room drapes, dining room curtains, home-office curtains or decorative panels for a library, sitting room, dressing room or sunroom.
FABRIC DETAILS
Material: Thick and heavy pure linen embroidered fabric
Base color: Powder blue, dusty sky blue and pale denim blue
Embroidery color: Ivory, warm white and soft off-white
Pattern: Jacobean-inspired floral vine with ornamental flowers, rosette blooms, leaves, fern-like foliage, buds and trailing botanical stems
Fabric weight: Approximately 294 GSM
The approximate fabric weight of 294 GSM has been converted from 403 grams per linear meter for fabric measuring 54 inches wide.
This substantial embroidered linen feels considerably heavier and richer than lightweight linen. It has a visible woven texture, a beautiful natural fall and enough body to form elegant folds once installed.
The raised ivory embroidery adds further structure and visual depth. In natural daylight, the floral design becomes brighter and more prominent. Under softer evening lighting, the embroidery appears gentler and more textural.

HEADING STYLE OPTIONS
HOOKS TOP
The hooks-top heading is compatible with both curtain rods and curtain tracks.
Curtain hooks can be attached to rings on a rod or fitted into compatible runners or gliders on a track. This option creates an elegant, versatile and tailored appearance and is particularly practical when the curtains will be opened and closed regularly.
BACK TABS
Hidden fabric tabs are sewn behind the upper edge of the curtain. The curtain rod passes through these concealed tabs, leaving the front of the heading clean and uninterrupted.
Back tabs create soft, structured folds and work beautifully in coastal, farmhouse, cottage, transitional and relaxed traditional rooms.
ROD POCKET
A fabric channel is sewn across the curtain heading so the curtain rod can pass directly through it.
Rod-pocket curtains produce a gently gathered appearance and are especially suitable for bedrooms, nurseries, cottage homes, vintage interiors and decorative windows where the curtains will not need to slide frequently.
GROMMETS
Metal eyelets are fitted across the curtain heading so the rod passes directly through the grommets.
This style creates regular folds, allows the panels to slide easily along the rod and gives the embroidered fabric a clean, slightly more contemporary appearance.
Please write one of the following heading choices in the order details email:

LINING OPTIONS
UNLINED
The unlined option displays the natural woven texture of the pure linen and allows daylight to illuminate the ivory embroidered pattern.
When unlined, these panels function as semi-sheer privacy curtains. They soften direct sunlight and provide a degree of daytime privacy while keeping the room bright, airy and welcoming.
The ivory flowers and vines become especially attractive when softly backlit by a window. Because the unlined linen is semi-sheer, silhouettes may remain visible at night when the room is brightly illuminated from inside.
Choose the unlined version when preserving natural daylight, linen texture and a relaxed appearance is more important than complete nighttime privacy.
ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT-FILTERING LINER
The organic cotton light-filtering liner adds privacy, opacity, body and structure while continuing to allow softly filtered natural daylight into the room.
This option makes the curtains completely opaque, preventing the window and objects behind the fabric from being clearly visible through the panel.
The organic cotton liner also gives the curtains a fuller, more substantial fall and allows the embroidered linen to form deeper, more defined folds.
It is an excellent choice for living rooms, dining rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, guest rooms, nurseries and home offices where privacy is required without creating complete darkness.
100% BLACKOUT LINER
The blackout option uses an OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, non-toxic polycotton liner made from 50% cotton and 50% polyester.
This liner is designed to block the light passing through the curtain fabric completely while also providing maximum privacy.
It is especially suitable for:
Bedrooms
Nurseries
Children’s rooms
Guest rooms
Home theaters
Media rooms
Shift workers
Light-sensitive sleepers
For the darkest possible result, allow enough curtain width for generous overlap and extend the curtains sufficiently beyond the top and sides of the window. This helps reduce light entering through gaps around the edges.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR 100-INCH-WIDE CURTAINS
A 100-inch-wide curtain will be constructed by carefully joining two 50-inch-wide sections of embroidered linen.
Each individual 100-inch-wide curtain will therefore have one vertical joining seam in the middle.
The seam is professionally sewn and neatly finished. Once the curtain is installed, gathered and arranged into natural folds, the center seam is barely visible. The detailed ivory embroidery and textured blue linen also help the joining line blend naturally into the finished curtain.
This construction is necessary because the decorative embroidered fabric is manufactured in a limited loom width and cannot be cut as one continuous 100-inch-wide piece.
When ordering a pair of 100-inch-wide curtains, both individual panels will be made using this joined construction.
CAFE CURTAINS
We can also make cafe curtains from this powder-blue and ivory embroidered linen fabric.
Cafe curtains are ideal for kitchen windows, breakfast nooks, pantry windows, laundry rooms, bathroom windows, cottage windows and smaller windows where privacy is required across the lower portion while the upper section remains open to daylight.
The pale blue background and delicate ivory embroidery are particularly suitable for coastal kitchens, cottage breakfast areas, traditional pantries and calm country-inspired interiors.
For customized cafe curtains, select the next available size that is equal to or larger than the measurements you require. Enter the exact finished width and length in the order details email together with your chosen heading style and liner preference.
HOW TO CHOOSE THE CORRECT CURTAIN WIDTH
Measure the usable width of your curtain rod or track. Do not include decorative finials when calculating the usable width.
For a lightly gathered appearance, the combined curtain width should generally be approximately 1.5 times the usable rod or track width.
For fuller and more luxurious folds, the combined curtain width should generally be approximately twice the usable rod or track width.
Example:
For a rod measuring 50 inches wide, approximately 75 inches of combined curtain width creates lighter gathering.
Approximately 100 inches of combined curtain width creates fuller, richer folds.
When purchasing a pair, calculate the combined width of both curtain panels.
For example:
Two curtains measuring 50 inches wide each provide a total combined width of 100 inches.
The ideal fullness may vary according to your heading style, window dimensions, frequency of use and preferred finished appearance.
HOW TO MEASURE THE CURTAIN LENGTH
HOOKS TOP
Measure from the position where the curtain hook will hang to the required finished point.
BACK TABS
Measure from the top of the curtain rod to the required finished point.
ROD POCKET
Measure from the top of the curtain rod to the required finished point.
GROMMETS
Measure from the top of the curtain rod to the required finished point. Remember that a small amount of fabric will remain visible above the grommets.
Possible finished positions include:
At the windowsill
Slightly below the windowsill
Just above the floor
Lightly touching the floor
Gently pooling on the floor
Measure every window carefully because curtain rods, ceilings, floors and window frames may not be perfectly level.

NATURAL LINEN AND HANDMADE CHARACTER
Each curtain is individually made to order. The exact placement of flowers, leaves and vines may vary depending on the selected curtain dimensions and the portion of fabric from which each panel is cut.
Natural linen may contain subtle slubs, fine irregular yarns, occasional thicker threads and minor variations in the woven surface. These are characteristic features of natural linen and contribute to its organic appearance.
Small variations in finished measurements may occur because linen is a natural woven textile and every curtain is individually cut and sewn.
Colors may appear slightly different depending on daylight, artificial lighting, photography, camera settings and individual screen displays.
The base is best described as powder blue, dusty sky blue or pale denim blue rather than a bright or saturated blue. The embroidery is soft ivory and warm off-white rather than stark optical white.
