The base linen fabric is approximately 54 inches wide.

For this reason, a finished 100-inch-wide curtain is made by professionally joining two approximately 50-inch fabric panels.

There will therefore be a vertical joining seam approximately through the centre of each 100-inch-wide curtain.

Once the curtain is installed, gathered and falling naturally into folds, the centre seam is generally barely visible.
