Pale Olive Green & Ivory Pure Linen Jacquard Curtains, Art Deco Geometric Chevron Drapes, Custom Extra Long Blackout Panels
PALE OLIVE GREEN & IVORY PURE LINEN JACQUARD CURTAINS WITH ART DECO GEOMETRIC CHEVRON PATTERN
Bring sophisticated colour, substantial natural texture and elegant woven geometry to your windows with these custom-made thick and heavy pure linen jacquard curtains.
This distinctive fabric combines a beautifully muted pale olive-green to celery-olive ground with contrasting warm ivory, pearl cream and soft off-white jacquard detailing.
The overall green is light, muted and sophisticated rather than bright or saturated. It sits between pale olive, celery, light khaki and softly yellowed olive, giving the curtains an understated natural colour that coordinates particularly well with warm whites, creams, greige, natural wood and other earthy neutrals.
Across the fabric is a large-scale woven geometric pattern made from elongated diamonds, angular chevrons, vertical ribbon-like forms and fine parallel diagonal lines.
The geometry has a clean architectural character with subtle Art Deco and mid-century influences. Some sections form tall faceted diamonds while others create opposing diagonal lines and broad chevron shapes. The use of multiple narrow parallel stripes within parts of the design adds further dimension and prevents the pattern from appearing flat.
Because the pattern is woven directly into the linen as a jacquard rather than printed onto the surface, the ivory sections have a beautiful textural contrast against the pale olive ground.
From a normal viewing distance, the overall colour impression is:
PALE OLIVE GREEN + IVORY
with softer undertones of:
CELERY + LIGHT KHAKI + CREAM + PEARL + NATURAL FLAX
These made-to-order curtains can be purchased as:
• One Single Curtain Panel
• Pair / Set of 2 Matching Curtain Panels
Choose from:
• Unlined
• Organic Cotton Light-Filtering Liner
• 100% Blackout OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Certified Polycotton Liner
COLOUR DESCRIPTION
MAIN PALE OLIVE COLOUR
The main coloured areas are best described as a soft pale olive green.
This is not:
• Dark forest green
• Emerald green
• Bright lime
• Saturated grass green
Instead, the shade has muted yellow and neutral undertones.
Depending on lighting, it may appear as:
• Pale olive green
• Celery green
• Light khaki
• Soft yellow-olive
• Muted lichen
• Very pale chartreuse-olive
The colour becomes slightly warmer under warm artificial light and can appear more neutral or softly olive in natural daylight.
The muted nature of the colour makes it much easier to coordinate than a vivid green curtain.
IVORY JACQUARD COLOUR
The contrasting woven pattern is a soft warm ivory rather than brilliant optical white.
Depending on the viewing angle and lighting, it may appear:
• Pearl ivory
• Warm off-white
• Soft cream
• Natural white
• Pale flax
Because the pattern is woven, different yarn directions catch the light differently.
Some sections can therefore look brighter or slightly more lustrous than others even though they are made from the same colour family.
This changing appearance is part of the character of a jacquard textile.
OVERALL COLOUR EFFECT
From across the room, the curtains read primarily as:
PALE OLIVE GREEN + IVORY
The colouring is light, calm and understated.
It works particularly well for customers who want a green curtain without the heaviness of dark olive or forest green.
The combination can coordinate beautifully with:
• Warm-white walls
• Ivory walls
• Cream
• Natural beige
• Greige
• Taupe
• Mushroom
• Pale olive
• Khaki
• Natural oak
• Walnut
• Rattan
• Cane
• Brass
• Antique brass
• Matte-black curtain rods
Please remember that textile colours can look slightly different according to:
• Natural daylight
• Warm artificial lighting
• Cool artificial lighting
• Nearby wall colours
• Flooring and furniture
• Screen brightness
• Screen calibration
• Photography
• Viewing direction
ART DECO GEOMETRIC JACQUARD PATTERN
The fabric has a bold but elegant geometric repeat.
The woven design contains:
• Elongated diamond shapes
• Tall faceted geometric forms
• Angular chevrons
• Repeating V shapes
• Ribbon-like vertical sections
• Parallel diagonal lines
• Abstract architectural geometry
Several of the elongated shapes appear to interlock vertically.
Within portions of the pattern, groups of fine parallel lines create additional diagonal movement.
The result has influences from:
• Art Deco geometry
• Mid-century modern pattern
• Contemporary geometric decor
• Modern luxury interiors
• Transitional styling
• Quiet luxury decor
• Modern organic homes
The pattern is large enough to make a statement on full-length curtains while remaining restrained because the fabric uses only closely related pale olive and ivory colours.
WOVEN JACQUARD – NOT A FLAT PRINT
The geometric pattern is woven directly into the fabric.
It is not printed onto the surface.
Jacquard weaving creates the design by changing the structure and arrangement of the yarns themselves.
This gives the curtain:
• Visible woven dimension
• Tactile surface variation
• Subtle changes in sheen
• Greater visual depth
• A richer designer-textile appearance
• More character than a completely flat printed pattern
When light falls across the curtain, some woven ivory areas can appear brighter while adjacent olive sections remain softer and more matte.
This natural variation adds depth to the geometric pattern.
THICK & HEAVY PURE LINEN
These curtains are made from substantial pure linen jacquard face fabric.
The natural linen gives the curtains:
• Visible woven texture
• A substantial hand feel
• Beautiful natural folds
• Organic fibre character
• A relaxed yet sophisticated appearance
• Excellent visual depth
Pure linen naturally contains occasional characteristics including:
• Slubs
• Slightly thicker yarns
• Fine thick-and-thin areas
• Minor weave irregularities
• Natural fibre variation
These characteristics are normal for genuine linen and are not considered manufacturing defects.
FABRIC WEIGHT – APPROXIMATELY 294 GSM
The supplied face-fabric weight is approximately:
403 grams per linear metre
at a fabric width of:
54 inches / approximately 137 cm
This converts to approximately:
294 GSM
The approximately 294 GSM face fabric is substantial and considerably heavier than lightweight decorative linen.
This weight helps the curtains form rich folds while still retaining the natural movement associated with linen.
Please note:
294 GSM refers to the PURE LINEN FACE FABRIC itself.
Adding either the organic cotton liner or blackout liner will make the completed curtains heavier, fuller and more structured.
SINGLE PANEL OR PAIR / SET OF 2
These curtains can be purchased as:
SINGLE PANEL
You will receive one individual curtain panel in the width and height selected.
PAIR / SET OF 2
You will receive two matching individual curtain panels.

The width selected refers to the FLAT FINISHED WIDTH OF EACH INDIVIDUAL CURTAIN before gathering.
Examples:
ONE 50-INCH-WIDE CURTAIN
You receive one curtain measuring approximately:
50 inches / 127 cm wide.
PAIR OF 50-INCH-WIDE CURTAINS
You receive two curtains measuring:
50 inches / 127 cm wide EACH.
Combined flat width:
100 inches / approximately 254 cm.
ONE 100-INCH-WIDE CURTAIN
You receive one curtain approximately:
100 inches / 254 cm wide.
PAIR OF 100-INCH-WIDE CURTAINS
You receive two curtains measuring:
100 inches / 254 cm wide EACH.
Combined flat width:
200 inches / approximately 508 cm.
Please remember that curtains occupy less horizontal space after they are gathered into folds on a curtain rod or track.
AVAILABLE WIDTHS
Standard finished widths are:
• 50 inches / approximately 127 cm per curtain
• 100 inches / approximately 254 cm per curtain
The selected width is the finished FLAT width of EACH individual curtain panel before gathering.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT 100-INCH-WIDE CURTAINS
Every 100-inch-wide curtain panel will be made by joining two approximately 50-inch-wide fabric sections.
There will therefore be one carefully sewn vertical joining seam near the middle of every 100-inch-wide curtain panel.
The seam is normally barely visible after the curtain has been:
• Installed
• Gathered into folds
• Properly dressed and arranged
• Viewed from a normal distance
Joining two fabric widths is necessary because the original pure linen jacquard fabric is produced in a limited loom width.
If you purchase:
ONE 100-INCH-WIDE CURTAIN
That individual curtain will contain one joining seam.
PAIR OF 100-INCH-WIDE CURTAINS
Each individual curtain will contain its own joining seam.
We will align the geometric jacquard pattern across the joined fabric widths as carefully as reasonably possible.
However, exact continuation of every individual diamond, chevron or diagonal line cannot always be guaranteed because the final result depends on:
• Fabric pattern repeat
• Exact finished curtain dimensions
• Cutting position
• Heading construction
• Placement of the woven motif
Once the curtains are installed and gathered, the joining seam is generally very difficult to notice amongst the natural folds.

LINING OPTIONS
These pure linen jacquard curtains are available with three options:
1. UNLINED
2. ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT-FILTERING LINER
3. 100% BLACKOUT OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 CERTIFIED POLYCOTTON LINER
Please enter your required lining choice in the order details email.
1. UNLINED CURTAINS
The unlined option preserves the most natural appearance, texture and movement of the pure linen jacquard face fabric.
When unlined, these curtains provide semi-sheer privacy.
Although the linen itself is thick and substantial, natural light can still pass through the fabric when it is strongly backlit.
The precise amount of transparency depends on:
• Strength of sunlight
• Direction of daylight
• Time of day
• Curtain fullness
• Interior lighting
• Distance between curtain and window
• Whether the curtain is viewed from inside or outside
During daytime use, the unlined curtain softens the view through the window while allowing pleasant natural daylight into the room.
The unlined version provides privacy but should not be considered completely opaque.
At night, especially when interior lights are switched on, shadows or silhouettes may potentially be visible from outside.
Choose UNLINED if you prefer:
• The most natural linen appearance
• Maximum visibility of the jacquard texture
• Soft filtered daylight
• Semi-sheer privacy
• A lighter completed curtain
• Natural relaxed folds
• Decorative window panels
• Curtains layered with an existing blind or Roman shade
2. ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT-FILTERING LINER
Choose the organic cotton light-filtering liner when you want increased privacy and complete visual opacity while still retaining softly diffused daylight.
Adding the organic cotton liner makes the completed curtain opaque under normal viewing conditions.
The linen face fabric will no longer appear semi-sheer.
The organic cotton liner:
• Makes the curtain visually opaque
• Provides greater daytime privacy
• Provides greater nighttime privacy
• Softens direct sunlight
• Diffuses natural daylight
• Adds body
• Supports the substantial linen face fabric
• Helps create fuller folds
• Gives the curtain a more structured finished drape
This option works particularly well for:
• Living rooms
• Dining rooms
• Bedrooms
• Guest rooms
• Home offices
• Nurseries
• Street-facing windows
• Spaces where privacy is important
IMPORTANT:
The organic cotton liner is LIGHT FILTERING.
It is not blackout.
Natural daylight will continue to enter the room through the completed curtain, but it will be softened and diffused.
Choose this option when you want:
COMPLETE OPACITY + PRIVACY + SOFT NATURAL LIGHT.
3. 100% BLACKOUT OEKO-TEX CERTIFIED LINER
Choose the blackout liner where maximum light blocking through the curtain fabric is required.
The blackout liner is an OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, non-toxic polycotton fabric composed of:
• 50% Cotton
• 50% Polyester
The specialised liner blocks light from passing through the body of the curtain.
The completed curtain fabric itself therefore becomes fully opaque.
The blackout option is especially suitable for:
• Bedrooms
• Nurseries
• Children's rooms
• Guest bedrooms
• Shift workers
• Media rooms
• Home cinemas
• Street-facing bedrooms
• Rooms receiving strong sunlight
• Rooms where darkness is important for sleep
• Spaces requiring maximum privacy
IMPORTANT BLACKOUT INFORMATION
The blackout lining blocks light passing THROUGH the curtain fabric.
However, light can still potentially enter AROUND the curtain depending on the installation.
Possible areas include:
• Above the curtain
• Around the outside edges
• Beneath the curtain
• Through the centre gap between two panels
For the darkest possible result:
• Order generous curtain fullness
• Extend the curtain rod or track beyond both sides of the window
• Install the curtains above the top of the window opening
• Allow two curtain panels to overlap slightly in the centre
• Select sufficient finished curtain length
• Position the curtains reasonably close to the wall
• Make sure the complete window opening is covered
AVAILABLE HEADING STYLES
Four heading styles are available:
• Hooks Top
• Back Tabs
• Rod Pocket
• Grommets
Please enter your required heading style in the order details email.
HOOKS TOP
Hooks Top is compatible with BOTH:
• Curtain rods fitted with rings
• Curtain tracks
For installation on a curtain rod:
The hooks attach to suitable curtain rings fitted around the rod.
For installation on a curtain track:
The hooks attach to the runners or gliders fitted to the track.
Hooks Top is particularly suitable for:
• Ceiling-mounted curtain tracks
• Wall-mounted tracks
• Decorative curtain rods with rings
• Frequently opened curtains
• Wide windows
• Tall windows
• Extra-long curtains
• Floor-to-ceiling installations
Hooks Top is the most versatile heading option.
BACK TABS
Back tabs are fabric loops sewn onto the reverse of the curtain heading.
The curtain rod passes through the hidden tabs.
When viewed from the front, most of the rod remains concealed.
Back-tab curtains create:
• Soft structured folds
• Minimal visible hardware
• A clean tailored appearance
• Contemporary styling
• A relaxed but elegant drape
Back Tabs require a curtain rod.
They cannot be installed directly onto a standard curtain track.
ROD POCKET
A fabric channel is sewn across the top of the curtain.
The curtain rod slides directly through this channel.
Rod-pocket curtains create:
• Soft gathered folds
• Minimal visible hardware
• A relaxed appearance
• A classic curtain style
Rod Pocket is particularly suitable for:
• Living-room curtains
• Bedroom curtains
• Decorative panels
• Smaller windows
• Short curtains
• Custom cafe curtains
Please ensure that the diameter of your curtain rod is compatible with the rod-pocket opening.
GROMMETS
Grommets, also known as eyelets, are rings fitted across the top of the curtain.
The curtain rod passes directly through these rings.
Grommet curtains create:
• Broad wave-like folds
• A clean contemporary appearance
• Easy opening and closing
• Even gathering
• Visible decorative hardware
Grommet curtains require a curtain rod.
They cannot be attached directly to a standard curtain track.
CURTAIN FULLNESS
The selected curtain width refers to the FLAT FINISHED WIDTH before gathering.
For attractive finished curtains, the combined flat width should normally be greater than the usable width of your curtain rod or track.
As a general guide:
1.5 × FULLNESS
Creates a more relaxed contemporary appearance.
2 × FULLNESS
Creates deeper, fuller and more luxurious folds.
EXAMPLE:
Curtain rod width:
50 inches
Pair of 50-inch-wide curtains:
100 inches combined flat width
This provides approximately 2 × fullness.
Another example:
Curtain rod width:
100 inches
Pair of 100-inch-wide curtains:
200 inches combined flat width
This also provides approximately 2 × fullness.
HOW FULLNESS AFFECTS THIS GEOMETRIC JACQUARD
The fabric has a large architectural geometric repeat.
WITH GREATER FULLNESS:
• Curtains appear richer
• Folds become deeper
• Portions of the diamonds and chevrons move naturally into the folds
• The pattern becomes softer and more dimensional
WITH LOWER FULLNESS:
• Curtains hang flatter
• More complete geometric forms remain visible
• The pattern appears stronger and more graphic
HOW TO MEASURE CURTAIN WIDTH
1. Measure the usable width of your curtain rod or track.
2. Do not include decorative finials.
3. Decide whether you want approximately 1.5 × or 2 × fullness.
4. Multiply your rod or track width by your chosen fullness.
5. Divide the resulting total by the number of individual curtain panels required.
EXAMPLE:
Usable curtain rod width:
80 inches
Preferred fullness:
2 ×
80 × 2 = 160 inches recommended combined flat curtain width.
A pair of 100-inch-wide curtains provides 200 inches combined flat width and therefore creates generous fullness.
HOW TO MEASURE CURTAIN HEIGHT
Measure from the top of the installed curtain rod or track to where you want the curtains to end. For Hooks top only, subtract 1 in (2.54 cm) once from this measurement because the curtains hang slightly below the rod. Do not deduct or add an allowance for other heading styles.
HOOKS TOP:
Measure from the top of the installed curtain rod or track to where you want the curtains to end. For Hooks top only, subtract 1 in (2.54 cm) once from this measurement because the curtains hang slightly below the rod.
BACK TABS:
Measure from the top of the curtain rod.
ROD POCKET:
Measure from the top of the curtain rod.
GROMMETS:
Measure from the top of the installed curtain rod or track to where you want the curtains to end. Do not add an allowance above the eyelets.
Possible finished curtain lengths include:
• Window-sill length
• Below-sill length
• Apron length
• Floor length
• Just touching the floor
• Slightly puddling on the floor
For floor-length curtains, measure in several positions because curtain rods and floors are not always perfectly level.
CUSTOM CAFE CURTAINS
This same pale olive and ivory pure linen jacquard fabric can also be made into custom cafe curtains.
Cafe curtains are shorter curtains designed primarily to cover the lower portion of a window while leaving the upper part open for natural daylight.
The pale olive and ivory colourway is especially attractive for kitchen cafe curtains because it introduces gentle colour without making a smaller space feel dark.
Cafe curtains are suitable for:
• Kitchen windows
• Breakfast nooks
• Breakfast rooms
• Dining areas
• Bathrooms
• Powder rooms
• Pantry windows
• Utility rooms
• French doors
• Street-facing windows
• Small windows
• Lower-half window privacy
Cafe curtains can be made:
• Unlined
• Organic cotton light-filtering lined
• 100% blackout lined

PATTERN PLACEMENT
The exact position of the geometric jacquard pattern can vary according to:
• Curtain width
• Curtain height
• Pattern repeat
• Custom measurements
• Heading style
• Point from which the fabric is cut
• Whether a joining seam is required
When making a pair, we will position the pattern as consistently as reasonably possible.
However, exact mirror-image placement of every geometric shape cannot always be guaranteed.
Once gathered, some sections of the elongated diamonds and chevrons will appear prominently across the front of the folds while other areas will move naturally into the valleys between the folds.
This creates additional depth and movement.
