Choose inside recess if you want the Roman shade to fit neatly inside the window opening.

Step 1: Measure the inside width of your window recess in three places: top, middle, and bottom.

Step 2: Use the smallest width measurement.

Step 3: Measure the inside height / drop of the window recess in three places: left, center, and right.

Step 4: Use the height you want the blind to cover from top to bottom inside the recess.

Step 5: Enter the exact inside recess measurements in the order details email.

Step 6: Clearly write “inside recess” or “inside mount” with your measurements.

Step 7: Please make sure your recess has enough depth for the Roman shade, folds, and hardware.

Step 1: Measure the full width of the area you want the shade to cover.

Step 2: For better privacy and light control, add extra overlap on both sides of the window where possible.

Step 3: Measure from the top point where you want the shade to start down to the point where you want it to finish.

Step 4: For better coverage, allow the shade to extend above and below the window opening where possible.

Step 5: Enter the exact finished blind width and finished blind height in the order details email.

Step 6: Clearly write “outside recess” or “outside mount” with your measurements.
