Oatmeal Ivory & Charcoal Tribal Stripe Pure Linen Curtains, Heavy Boho Geometric Drapes, Custom Blackout or Light Filtering Panels
Bring bold graphic pattern, rich natural texture and a sophisticated neutral colour palette to your windows with these custom-made, thick and heavy pure linen curtains.
The fabric features a striking tribal-inspired vertical stripe pattern in warm oatmeal ivory, natural beige, deep charcoal black and softly contrasting flax-grey tones. Wide oatmeal-ivory bands alternate with dark charcoal sections filled with closely spaced horizontal broken lines. These fine linear details create a textured, handwoven appearance inspired by traditional tribal textiles, artisan handloom fabrics, mudcloth patterns and relaxed bohemian interiors.
From across the room, the pattern appears as a bold vertical stripe that visually lengthens the window and draws the eye upward. When viewed closely, the smaller horizontal lines reveal a much more detailed geometric design with a woven and handcrafted character.
The lighter sections are best described as warm oatmeal ivory or natural beige ivory. They are not pale green, bright white or yellow cream. The colour has a subdued flax, stone and beige undertone that complements the natural texture of the linen.
The darker areas appear as deep charcoal black rather than a completely flat jet black. Fine warm-grey, flax and muted beige markings soften the darker sections and create a layered textile effect.
These custom linen curtain panels are well suited to bohemian, tribal, organic modern, earthy minimalist, modern rustic, Southwestern, African-inspired, eclectic, industrial, contemporary, cabin and neutral interiors.
They can be used as:
Living room curtains
Bedroom drapes
Dining room curtains
Home-office curtains
Extra-long curtains
Floor-to-ceiling drapes
Large-window treatments
Custom blackout curtains
Decorative window panels
Doorway curtains
Loft and studio curtains
Rustic cabin curtains
Kitchen curtains
Bathroom privacy curtains
Custom cafe curtains
COLOUR AND PATTERN
The principal colours visible in the fabric are:
Warm oatmeal ivory
Natural beige ivory
Soft flax beige
Deep charcoal black
Muted warm grey
Subtle taupe-grey accents
The design consists of alternating vertical bands.
The broader bands have a warm oatmeal-ivory base with subtle woven-looking tonal variation. These lighter stripes are separated by dark charcoal sections filled with very fine horizontal dashes and broken lines in grey, flax and natural beige.
The horizontal markings are deliberately slightly irregular rather than appearing mechanically perfect. This creates a more relaxed, artisan-inspired appearance similar to handwoven or handloom textiles.
The pattern may be described as:
Tribal stripe
Boho geometric stripe
Textured vertical stripe
Mudcloth-inspired pattern
Handwoven-inspired design
Artisan geometric print
Modern ethnic stripe
The neutral oatmeal-ivory and charcoal palette makes these curtains highly versatile. They can become a statement feature in a minimalist room or blend naturally into a layered bohemian interior.
The fabric coordinates especially well with:
Warm white walls
Oatmeal upholstery
Natural linen furniture
Beige and taupe textiles
Black metal curtain rods
Walnut and dark-stained wood
Natural oak furniture
Tan or cognac leather
Aged brass accessories
Jute and sisal rugs
Rattan and cane furniture
Stone, concrete and limewashed walls
Charcoal, black, ivory, beige and brown cushions
Terracotta pottery and earthy accessories
Please remember that colours may appear slightly different depending on screen settings, room lighting, surrounding wall colours, photography and separate fabric production batches.
THICK AND HEAVY PURE LINEN FABRIC
The main curtain fabric is pure linen with a thick, heavy and substantial construction.
The supplied fabric weight is 403 grams per linear metre at a fabric width of 54 inches, approximately 137 cm. This converts to approximately 294 GSM.
This substantial weight gives the finished curtains an elegant fall and allows them to form rich, natural folds after installation. The fabric is not a lightweight linen voile, gauze or thin sheer material.
The heavier construction helps the printed pattern remain clearly visible while retaining the relaxed texture and organic character associated with genuine linen.
The natural linen weave adds depth to the oatmeal-ivory and charcoal print, preventing the surface from appearing flat or overly uniform.
Pure linen may naturally contain:
Small slubs
Slightly thicker yarn areas
Subtle weave variations
Minor surface irregularities
Soft tonal differences
These are normal characteristics of natural linen fibres and are not considered defects.
SINGLE CURTAIN OR PAIR OF CURTAINS
These linen curtains can be ordered as:
One single curtain panel
A pair or set of two matching curtain panels
The selected width and height refer to the finished dimensions of each individual curtain panel.
For example:
When you order a single curtain in the size 50 inches wide by 96 inches high, you will receive one curtain measuring approximately 50 × 96 inches.
When you order a pair in the size 50 inches wide by 96 inches high, you will receive two separate curtains, each measuring approximately 50 × 96 inches.
The combined flat width of the pair in this example will be approximately 100 inches before the curtains are gathered.
AVAILABLE WIDTHS
50 inches wide per curtain panel – approximately 127 cm
100 inches wide per curtain panel – approximately 254 cm
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT 100-INCH-WIDE CURTAINS
Every finished 100-inch-wide curtain panel will be made by carefully joining two approximately 50-inch-wide fabric sections.
This means each 100-inch-wide curtain will contain one vertical joining seam.
The fabric will be joined neatly, and the striped pattern will be aligned as closely as the design repeat permits. After the curtain is installed, gathered and arranged into natural folds, the joining seam is generally barely visible.
This seam is a normal and necessary construction detail for an extra-wide curtain made from fabric woven at approximately 54 inches wide. It is not considered a defect.
When a pair of 100-inch-wide curtains is ordered, each individual 100-inch-wide curtain panel will contain its own joining seam.
AVAILABLE CURTAIN HEIGHTS
36 inches – approximately 91 cm
48 inches – approximately 122 cm
60 inches – approximately 152 cm

144 inches – approximately 366 cm
156 inches – approximately 396 cm

The large range of available lengths makes these curtains suitable for standard windows, short windows, floor-length installations, tall living-room windows, high ceilings, loft apartments and double-height rooms.
CUSTOM CURTAIN SIZES
Custom widths and heights are available.
To order a custom curtain size:
1. Measure the exact finished width and height required for each individual curtain panel.
2. Select the next available standard size that is equal to or larger than your required measurements.
3. Enter the exact finished width and height in the order details email.
4. Confirm whether the measurements apply to each individual curtain or to the combined width of the complete pair.
5. Include the required heading style.
6. Include the required lining choice.
For example:
When you require each curtain to measure 46 inches wide by 89 inches high, select the 50-inch width and 96-inch height option.
Then write the following in the order details email:
“Finished size of each curtain: 46 inches wide × 89 inches high.”
Please do not select a standard size smaller than the required custom dimensions.
LINING OPTIONS
The curtains are available with three lining choices:
Unlined
Organic cotton light-filtering lined
OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified 100% blackout lined
UNLINED CURTAINS
The unlined option preserves the most natural drape and appearance of the pure linen fabric.
When unlined, these curtains are semi-sheer. They soften incoming daylight and provide a moderate level of daytime privacy while allowing natural light to pass through the linen.
The oatmeal-ivory sections may appear lighter when strong sunlight shines through the curtains, and the natural linen weave may become more visible.
Unlined curtains are recommended for:
Living rooms
Dining rooms
Home offices
Decorative window treatments
Rooms where natural daylight is preferred
Curtains layered over blinds or shades
Windows that do not require complete privacy
Please note that shapes or silhouettes may be visible from outside at night when interior lights are switched on.
ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT-FILTERING LINER
The organic cotton liner adds privacy, opacity, weight and body while continuing to allow softly diffused daylight into the room.
With this lining, the curtains become completely opaque and provide substantially greater privacy than the unlined version.
The organic cotton backing also gives the curtains a fuller and more structured fall.
This lining option is recommended for:
Living rooms requiring privacy
Dining rooms
Guest bedrooms
Home offices
Family rooms
Street-facing windows
Rooms where complete blackout is unnecessary
Buyers who prefer a natural-fibre lining
The organic cotton liner filters and softens daylight but does not create complete darkness.
100% BLACKOUT LINER
The blackout option uses a non-toxic, OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified polycotton lining made from:
50% cotton
50% polyester
This lining blocks light completely through the covered fabric area and provides the highest degree of privacy.
It is particularly suitable for:
Bedrooms
Nurseries
Children’s rooms
Media rooms
Home cinemas
Night-shift sleepers
Street-facing rooms
Rooms receiving strong sunlight
Spaces where maximum darkness is required
The blackout lining also adds additional body, structure and weight to the finished curtains.
Small amounts of light may still enter around the top, bottom or sides of the curtains depending on the curtain-rod position, wall clearance, heading style and installation method.
For the darkest result, install the curtain rod above the window and extend it beyond both sides of the frame. Order enough combined curtain width to retain generous folds when the curtains are fully closed.
AVAILABLE HEADING STYLES
Four curtain heading styles are available:
Hooks top
Back tabs
Rod pocket
Grommets
The required heading style must be written in the order details email.
HOOKS TOP
The hooks-top heading is finished with curtain heading tape sewn onto the reverse of the curtain.
Curtain hooks can be inserted into the heading tape, making this option compatible with:
Curtain tracks
Curtain rails
Curtain rods fitted with rings and hooks
This versatile heading works well in traditional, transitional and contemporary interiors. It creates adjustable gathering and is particularly suitable for wide or tall windows.
The listing term “hooks top” refers to curtain heading tape designed to hold curtain hooks.
BACK TABS
Back tabs are fabric loops sewn discreetly onto the reverse side of the curtain header.
The curtain rod passes through the hidden tabs, leaving the front of the curtain clean and uninterrupted.
Back-tab curtains form soft, evenly spaced folds and are ideal for:
Modern interiors
Organic modern homes
Earthy minimalist rooms
Bedrooms
Living rooms
Decorative curtain rods
A clean and tailored appearance
Back tabs are designed for curtain rods rather than curtain tracks.
ROD POCKET
A fabric channel is sewn across the top of the curtain, allowing the curtain rod to slide directly through the header.
Rod-pocket curtains create a softly gathered and relaxed appearance.
They are especially suitable for:
Bohemian interiors
Rustic rooms
Decorative curtain rods
Small windows
Kitchen windows
Custom cafe curtains
Curtains that remain mostly stationary
Please ensure that the curtain-rod diameter is suitable for the finished rod-pocket opening.
GROMMETS
Metal grommets are installed across the curtain header, allowing the curtain rod to pass directly through the eyelets.
This heading produces broad, evenly spaced folds and allows the curtains to move easily across the rod.
Grommet curtains are suitable for:
Modern living rooms
Bedrooms
Large windows
Contemporary interiors
Frequently opened curtains
Wide decorative curtain rods
Grommets are intended for curtain rods and are not compatible with curtain tracks.
INFORMATION REQUIRED IN THE order details email
Please include all of the following information:
Exact finished width of each curtain panel
Exact finished height of each curtain panel
Heading style: hooks top, back tabs, rod pocket or grommets
Liner choice: unlined, organic cotton light filtering or blackout
Whether you are ordering one panel or a pair
Whether the dimensions refer to each individual panel or the combined pair
Any additional custom instructions
Example:
“Pair of curtains. Each curtain to measure 50 inches wide × 96 inches high. Back-tab heading. Organic cotton light-filtering liner.”
Missing heading, lining or measurement information may delay production while clarification is requested.
HOW TO MEASURE THE CURTAIN WIDTH
Measure the usable width of the installed curtain rod or track rather than measuring only the glass portion of the window.
Curtains require additional width to create attractive folds when closed.
For gentle gathering:
Order a combined flat curtain width of approximately 1.5 times the usable rod or track width.
For a fuller and more luxurious appearance:
Order a combined flat curtain width of approximately twice the usable rod or track width.
Example:
For a curtain rod measuring 72 inches wide, a combined flat curtain width of approximately 108 to 144 inches will create visible gathering.
When ordering a pair, divide the desired combined width between the two curtain panels.
A pair of 72-inch-wide panels would provide a combined flat width of 144 inches.
The listed curtain width is the flat finished width before gathering. It is not the width after the curtains have been gathered onto the rod or track.
HOW TO MEASURE THE CURTAIN HEIGHT
First decide where you want the curtains to finish.
Common finishing positions include:
At the windowsill
Just below the windowsill
Just above the floor
Lightly touching the floor
Resting slightly on the floor
With an intentional decorative puddle
For hooks-top curtains:
Measure from the intended hook position on the curtain track or ring to the required finishing point.
For back-tab curtains:
Measure from the top of the curtain rod to the required finishing point.
For rod-pocket curtains:
Measure from the top of the rod or from the point where the curtain header will begin.
For grommet curtains:
Measure from the top of the curtain rod to the required finish. Remember that a small section of fabric will extend above the grommets.
Measure every window individually, even when two windows appear to be the same size.
CUSTOM CAFE CURTAINS
This oatmeal-ivory and charcoal linen fabric can also be made into custom cafe curtains.
Cafe curtains are shorter curtain panels designed to cover the lower section of a window while leaving the upper part open for natural daylight.
They are especially suitable for:
Kitchen windows
Breakfast rooms
Bathroom windows
Utility rooms
Laundry rooms
Pantry windows
Small cottage windows
Door windows
Street-facing lower windows
Cafe curtains provide privacy at eye level while allowing the room to remain bright and open.
They can be ordered as one single cafe-curtain panel or as a pair. Rod-pocket and back-tab headings are especially suitable for cafe-curtain installations, although other heading styles may be requested where practical.
To order custom cafe curtains, select the next available standard size that is larger than the required dimensions and enter the exact finished measurements in the order details email.
PATTERN PLACEMENT AND MATCHING
The exact position of the oatmeal-ivory and charcoal stripes may vary depending on the selected curtain width and the point at which the fabric is cut.
For a pair of curtains, the pattern placement will be coordinated as closely as reasonably possible.
For 100-inch-wide panels, the vertical pattern will be aligned carefully across the joining seam wherever the fabric repeat permits.
Exact mirror-image placement cannot always be guaranteed because of the design repeat, fabric width and selected custom dimensions.
Small variations in stripe placement are normal in custom-made curtains and become much less noticeable after the panels are gathered into folds.
CURTAIN FULLNESS
The curtains are supplied in the flat finished width selected from the menu.
The final appearance depends on:
The total curtain width ordered
The width of the curtain rod or track
Whether one curtain or a pair is installed
The selected heading style
The amount of gathering used
For a rich and luxurious appearance, order enough combined curtain width to maintain visible folds when the curtains are fully closed.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Professional dry cleaning is recommended to help preserve:
The pure linen fabric
The printed pattern
The lining
The selected heading style
The custom measurements
Avoid bleach and harsh stain removers.
Do not soak the curtains.
Avoid high-temperature tumble drying, as excessive heat may cause shrinkage, distortion or damage to the lining.
Minor creasing may be reduced using a garment steamer on a gentle setting. Steam from the reverse side whenever possible and avoid holding the steamer too close to the printed surface.
Natural linen develops a softly relaxed and slightly creased appearance over time. This is part of the fabric’s character and is not considered a defect.
