Oatmeal Beige Pure Linen Curtains, Ivory Printed Herringbone Ticking Stripe Farmhouse Drapes, Custom Blackout or Light Filtering
Bring relaxed French farmhouse character and quiet, natural warmth to your windows with these thick, heavy pure linen curtains. The understated printed stripe combines warm oatmeal beige, soft ivory and muted light taupe in a beautifully balanced neutral palette. Designed for both classic and contemporary interiors, these custom linen drapes are available unlined, with an organic cotton light-filtering liner, or with an OEKO-TEX certified total-blackout liner.
The fabric features alternating vertical bands in oatmeal, biscuit beige, warm ivory and light greige. Broad tonal stripes are interspersed with slender pinstripes, while selected taupe bands contain a subtle herringbone or chevron-like printed texture. The result resembles vintage French ticking fabric and European grain-sack linen, but with a softer, more refined finish.
Because the colors are intentionally low contrast, the design adds pattern without making the room feel busy. From a distance, it reads as an elegant warm-neutral striped curtain; at closer range, the herringbone detailing and variations in stripe width become more apparent.
COLOR AND PATTERN
• Base colors: warm ivory, cream and oatmeal beige
• Accent colors: light taupe, mushroom beige, biscuit and warm greige
• Pattern: alternating wide and narrow vertical stripes
• Detail: fine pinstripes and subtle herringbone-textured bands
• Overall appearance: soft, tonal, warm and naturally understated
• Style associations: French country, European farmhouse, vintage grain sack, ticking stripe, Belgian farmhouse, organic modern, coastal farmhouse and quiet-luxury décor
• Pattern method: printed design on pure linen; this pattern is not embroidered or jacquard woven
Please remember that screen settings, photography, room lighting and surrounding furnishings may make the color appear slightly warmer, cooler, lighter or darker. We recommend requesting or purchasing a fabric swatch whenever an exact color match is important.
PURE LINEN FABRIC
These curtains are made from thick, substantial pure linen with the natural texture, body and relaxed movement associated with genuine linen. Unlike lightweight gauze or voile panels, this fabric has a heavier hand and hangs in structured, elegant folds.
The supplied fabric weight is 403 grams per linear metre at a fabric width of 54 inches. Converted by area, this is approximately 294 GSM. This weight is stated for the main pure linen face fabric and does not include the additional weight of an optional liner.
Linen naturally contains small slubs, knots, subtle yarn variations and irregularities. These are characteristic features of linen rather than defects. They give every finished curtain a slightly individual, organic appearance.
LIGHT AND PRIVACY OPTIONS
Choose one of the following three finishes and enter your selection in the order details email:
1. UNLINED
The unlined pure linen curtain provides softly filtered daylight and daytime privacy while retaining the most natural linen drape. In this form, the panel is semi-sheer rather than transparent.
The precise level of visibility depends on the intensity and direction of the light. At night, when interior lights are switched on, outlines or silhouettes may be visible from outside. Choose a lined option if strong nighttime privacy is required.
2. ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT-FILTERING LINER
The organic cotton liner adds extra body, softness and privacy while continuing to admit gentle, diffused daylight. It makes the finished curtain completely opaque for privacy and helps the fabric hang in fuller, more substantial folds.
This is an excellent option for living rooms, dining rooms, nurseries, guest rooms, home offices and bedrooms where privacy is important but natural light is still welcome.
3. 100% BLACKOUT LINER
For maximum darkness, select our OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified blackout liner. This polycotton lining is made from 50% cotton and 50% polyester and is designed to block light completely through the curtain fabric.
It is especially suitable for bedrooms, nurseries, media rooms, shift workers and other spaces where strong room darkening is required. Please note that small amounts of light may still enter around the top, sides or bottom of a curtain depending on the rod placement, curtain fullness and window installation. For the darkest result, extend the curtain beyond the window frame and use generous fullness.
QUANTITY OPTIONS
These curtains may be purchased as:
• One individual curtain panel
• A pair or set of two matching curtain panels
Please select the required quantity carefully. All listed measurements refer to the size of each individual finished panel, not the combined dimensions of a pair.
For example, a pair of 50-inch-wide panels provides a combined flat fabric width of 100 inches before gathering.
STANDARD WIDTHS
• 50 inches wide — approximately 127 cm
• 100 inches wide — approximately 254 cm
The selected width is the flat finished width of one panel before the curtain is gathered or pleated.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR 100-INCH-WIDE PANELS
The usable fabric width is approximately 50 inches. Therefore, every 100-inch-wide curtain panel is constructed by carefully joining two approximately 50-inch fabric widths.
There will be a vertical joining seam near the center of the finished 100-inch panel. The fabric is aligned and joined as neatly as the stripe repeat permits. Once the curtain is installed, gathered and hanging in folds, the seam is generally barely visible.
This construction applies separately to each 100-inch-wide panel. If you purchase a pair of 100-inch panels, each panel will contain its own joining seam.
STANDARD LENGTHS
Available finished lengths are:
• 36 inches — approximately 91 cm
• 48 inches — approximately 122 cm
• 60 inches — approximately 152 cm
• 72 inches — approximately 183 cm
• 84 inches — approximately 213 cm
• 96 inches — approximately 244 cm
• 108 inches — approximately 274 cm
• 120 inches — approximately 305 cm
• 132 inches — approximately 335 cm
• 144 inches — approximately 366 cm
• 156 inches — approximately 396 cm
• 168 inches — approximately 427 cm
• 180 inches — approximately 457 cm
These options accommodate short windows, standard windows, tall ceilings, double-height spaces and dramatic extra-long curtains.
CUSTOM-SIZE CURTAINS
Custom widths and lengths are welcome.
To order a customized measurement:
1. Select the next available standard size larger than your required finished measurement.
2. Enter the exact finished width and length required in the order details email.
3. Include whether the measurement is for each individual panel or for the entire pair.
4. Also enter your heading style and liner choice.
Example:
“Pair of curtains. Each panel 47 inches wide × 91 inches long. Back tabs. Organic cotton liner.”
Please contact us before ordering if you require a size larger than the biggest available option or if you are uncertain which size to select.
AVAILABLE HEADING STYLES
Choose one of four heading styles and enter it in the order details email:
• Hooks Top — compatible with both curtain rods and curtain tracks; creates a tailored drapery appearance
• Back Tabs — concealed fabric tabs create clean, even folds while keeping the rod mostly hidden
• Rod Pocket — the curtain rod passes through a sewn fabric channel for a relaxed, gathered farmhouse look
• Grommets — metal eyelets create broad contemporary folds and allow the panel to move smoothly along a rod
Hooks, rings, rods and tracks are not included unless specifically stated elsewhere in the listing.
PERSONALIZATION IS REQUIRED
Please enter the following information in the order details email:
• Heading: Hooks Top, Back Tabs, Rod Pocket or Grommets
• Finish: Unlined, Organic Cotton Liner or Blackout Liner
• Exact custom finished measurement, if applicable
• Any other relevant installation details
Example:
“Hooks Top / Blackout Liner / Standard size.”
If personalization information is missing, we may contact you before production, which could delay completion of the order.
HOW TO CHOOSE CURTAIN WIDTH
For an attractive gathered appearance, the combined flat width of the curtains should usually equal approximately 1.5 to 2 times the width of the curtain rod or track.
For a 60-inch rod, for example, a pair of 50-inch panels provides a combined flat width of 100 inches and comfortable fullness. A more tailored appearance may use less fullness, while a fuller, more luxurious treatment may require additional fabric.
Always measure the entire rod or track rather than measuring only the glass. For an inside installation or an unusually wide window, contact us for sizing assistance before ordering.
CUSTOM CAFÉ CURTAINS
This fabric can also be made into custom linen café curtains for kitchens, breakfast nooks, bathrooms, pantry windows, laundry rooms and cottage interiors. Café curtains cover the lower portion of a window, providing privacy while leaving the upper section open to daylight.
For a café-curtain order, select the next available size above your required dimensions and write the exact finished measurements in the order details email. Please clearly state “café curtain” along with the heading and liner selection.
The short 36-inch and 48-inch lengths are especially suitable for many café-curtain and kitchen-window applications, although fully customized dimensions are available.
SUITABLE ROOMS AND INTERIOR STYLES
The oatmeal and ivory ticking-stripe palette works beautifully in:
• Farmhouse living rooms
• French country bedrooms
• Rustic or cottage kitchens
• Neutral dining rooms
• Organic modern interiors
• Coastal farmhouse homes
• Belgian farmhouse spaces
• Modern country houses
• Guest rooms and nurseries
• Reading rooms and home offices
• Tall-window and extra-long curtain installations
• Kitchen and bathroom café windows
The warm beige palette coordinates naturally with antique wood, white oak, stone, rattan, aged brass, black iron, cream upholstery, warm white paint and other earth-toned textiles.
PATTERN PLACEMENT AND WIDE-PANEL MATCHING
Pattern placement may vary slightly between individual panels because every curtain is cut from a larger repeating fabric design. For pairs, we make reasonable efforts to coordinate the stripe placement for a balanced appearance.
On joined 100-inch-wide panels, the print will be aligned as closely as the repeat and available fabric permit. Small changes in stripe position are a natural result of custom cutting and should not be interpreted as defects.
CARE
Because these are made-to-order, structured pure linen curtains—particularly when lined—we recommend professional dry cleaning. Spot clean gently when appropriate.
Avoid harsh bleach, vigorous rubbing and high heat. Natural linen can shrink if washed or dried at unsuitable temperatures. Follow any care instructions supplied with the finished order.
