Measure for your curtains

Enter your width and height together, then apply your measurements.

Size-dropdown widths are flat fabric widths per curtain.

A gathered curtain covers less space than its flat fabric width. Choose fullness below; Grommet/Eyelet and Pinch pleats always need 2× your coverage width.

This selection also updates Heading style on the product page.

Choose your fullness

Multiply the rod / track coverage by your fullness, then divide by the number of curtains.

Photorealistic fullness examples; actual folds vary with fabric and heading.

Measure the usable span of your installed rod or track, from one end of the curtain coverage to the other. Exclude decorative finials.

A pair contains two curtains. The flat fabric width you order is per curtain, not the combined pair. Choosing a curtain count here updates Panel quantity on the product page.

Enter the full measured drop. For Hooks top only, we subtract 1 in (2.54 cm) because the curtain hangs slightly below the rod. Do not deduct it yourself.

Apply your measurements

We select the exact available flat-width × finished-height size, or the closest larger size fitting both dimensions. For a larger size, your exact request is added to Custom sizes / requirements, preserving your own notes. Your curtain-count choice also updates Panel quantity on the product page.

Review your heading and fullness before applying. This updates your selected size but does not add anything to your cart.

How to measure · illustrations and examples

Measure the space your curtains will cover

Measure the usable span of your installed rod or track, from one end of the curtain coverage to the other. Exclude decorative finials.

Measure the usable rod or track span—not the window glass or decorative finials.

Example: a 100 in (254 cm) rod, two curtains and 2× fullness need 100 in (254 cm) flat width per curtain.

Flat fabric width before gathering or pleating—not the hanging coverage.

Measure from the top of the rod to your chosen bottom

Measure straight down from the top of your installed curtain rod to where you want the curtains to end. For a track, use the top of the installed track.

Start at the top of the rod or track. Stop at your chosen bottom.

Navy Blue Pure Linen Stripe Curtains, Beige Cream Farmhouse Drapes, Custom Blackout or Light Filtering — image 1

Navy Blue Pure Linen Stripe Curtains, Beige Cream Farmhouse Drapes, Custom Blackout or Light Filtering

Product description
Shipping & returns

NAVY BLUE, DENIM BLUE, BEIGE & CREAM PURE LINEN FARMHOUSE STRIPE CURTAINS

Bring rich natural linen texture, timeless vertical stripes and a sophisticated blue-and-neutral palette to your windows with these custom-made thick and heavyweight pure linen curtains.

The fabric has a warm ivory, cream and natural-flax pure linen ground woven with an elegant arrangement of vertical stripes in deep navy blue, softer denim blue, dusty blue, sand beige and natural flax.

The stripe pattern varies in width throughout the fabric.

Some lines are fine and delicate pinstripes, some are medium-width dusty-blue or beige bands, and others form deeper navy-blue vertical stripes.

This variation gives the textile significantly more character than a simple evenly spaced blue-and-white curtain.

The strongest overall colour combination is:

WARM IVORY / CREAM
+
DEEP NAVY BLUE
+
DENIM / DUSTY BLUE
+
SAND BEIGE / NATURAL FLAX

The finished look is relaxed, timeless and slightly vintage-inspired, with the character of classic ticking, French farmhouse linen and traditional country textiles.

The muted beige and flax lines soften the stronger blues, preventing the fabric from looking overly nautical or stark.

The result works beautifully in:

• Farmhouse interiors
• French-country rooms
• English-country homes
• Coastal farmhouse spaces
• Cottage interiors
• Rustic rooms
• Organic-modern homes
• Warm-minimal interiors
• Transitional spaces
• Neutral bedrooms
• Living rooms
• Dining rooms
• Country kitchens

These curtains are custom made from substantial PURE LINEN curtain fabric.

They are available as:

• ONE SINGLE CURTAIN PANEL

or

• A PAIR / SET OF TWO MATCHING CURTAIN PANELS

LINING OPTIONS

Choose from:

• UNLINED
• ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT-FILTERING LINER
• OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 CERTIFIED 100% BLACKOUT POLYCOTTON LINER

A wide selection of standard finished sizes is available.

Custom widths and lengths can also be made.

COLOR DESCRIPTION

WARM CREAM / IVORY PURE LINEN GROUND

The lightest areas of the fabric are best described as:

• Warm cream
• Ivory
• Natural linen
• Ecru
• Pale oatmeal
• Natural flax ivory
• Warm off-white

The ground is not a cold or stark optical white.

The natural flax yarn contains small tonal variations and subtle speckling that give the lighter sections an authentic woven appearance.

In bright natural daylight, the ground may look lighter and closer to ivory.

Under warm interior lighting, it may appear creamier and slightly more oatmeal toned.

DEEP NAVY BLUE STRIPES

The darkest coloured stripes are rich blue rather than black.

They can appear as:

• Navy blue
• Deep indigo blue
• Ink blue
• Midnight navy
• Dark denim blue
• Deep marine blue

The colour is strong and saturated but still softened by the natural linen texture.

In lower light, the deepest navy bands can appear extremely dark.

Under brighter daylight, their blue character becomes much clearer.

These darker lines give the fabric definition and make the vertical pattern especially effective on full-length curtains.

DENIM & DUSTY BLUE STRIPES

A second family of blue stripes is softer and more muted.

These can appear as:

• Denim blue
• Dusty blue
• Faded blue
• Slate blue
• Soft French blue
• Weathered blue
• Muted steel blue

These lighter blue bands provide a transition between the deep navy stripes and the cream linen background.

Their slightly weathered quality reinforces the relaxed farmhouse and French-country character of the textile.

SAND BEIGE & FLAX STRIPES

Fine warm neutral stripes run between many of the blue sections.

Depending on lighting, they may appear as:

• Sand beige
• Natural flax
• Oatmeal
• Camel beige
• Wheat
• Warm taupe
• Pale tan
• Biscuit beige

These beige and flax accents are important to the overall colour balance.

Without them, the design would read much more strongly as a navy-and-white nautical stripe.

Their presence makes the fabric warmer, earthier and easier to coordinate with natural wood and neutral furnishings.

OVERALL COLOR IMPRESSION

The curtain reads primarily as:

NAVY BLUE + CREAM

with supporting:

DENIM BLUE + DUSTY BLUE + BEIGE + NATURAL FLAX.

This palette coordinates beautifully with:

• Warm white
• Ivory
• Cream
• Oatmeal
• Beige
• Greige
• Taupe
• Camel
• Cognac
• Natural oak
• White oak
• Walnut
• Reclaimed timber
• Rattan
• Cane
• Jute
• Travertine
• Limestone
• Antique brass
• Aged bronze
• Matte black
• Sage green
• Olive green
• Rust
• Terracotta
• Dusty blue

MULTI-WIDTH VERTICAL STRIPE PATTERN

The defining feature of this fabric is its layered vertical stripe.

Rather than repeating one identical line, the design combines:

• Deep navy-blue bands
• Medium denim-blue stripes
• Fine dusty-blue pinstripes
• Narrow beige lines
• Natural-flax accents
• Warm cream spaces
• Alternating wide and narrow stripes

The changing widths create visual rhythm across the cloth.

Some blue bands are strong and clearly defined.

Others are much finer and more delicate.

The beige stripes introduce warmth between the cooler blue tones.

This creates a sophisticated textile with considerably more visual depth than a basic two-colour striped curtain.

TICKING-INSPIRED FARMHOUSE DESIGN

Traditional ticking fabrics are known for repeated narrow vertical stripes, often in blue, red or neutral colours.

This linen has a related visual character but combines those fine lines with some wider navy and denim bands.

It can therefore accurately be described as:

• Farmhouse stripe
• Blue ticking stripe
• Ticking-inspired linen
• French farmhouse stripe
• French-country stripe
• Country linen stripe
• Navy stripe
• Blue and cream stripe
• Cottage stripe
• Coastal farmhouse stripe
• Vintage-inspired stripe

FRENCH COUNTRY CHARACTER

Blue-and-cream striped linen has a particularly strong association with relaxed French-country and European farmhouse interiors.

This fabric works beautifully with:

• Weathered oak
• Cream-painted furniture
• Limestone
• Antique brass
• Natural linen upholstery
• Wicker
• Vintage ceramics
• Neutral rugs
• Painted cabinetry
• Traditional timber furniture

The mix of deep navy, washed blue and warm beige gives the curtain a collected appearance rather than the crisp graphic quality of a modern synthetic stripe.

COASTAL WITHOUT LOOKING OVERLY NAUTICAL

The navy-and-cream palette also works naturally in coastal interiors.

However, the presence of dusty blue, sand beige and natural flax prevents the design from becoming an obvious nautical navy-and-white stripe.

It can therefore work beautifully in:

• Coastal farmhouse homes
• Beach houses
• Hamptons-inspired rooms
• Relaxed seaside interiors
• Coastal cottages
• Neutral coastal bedrooms

Pair it with pale oak, rattan, jute, warm white walls and soft natural textiles for a more understated coastal look.

VERTICAL STRIPES & WINDOW HEIGHT

Vertical striped curtains naturally guide the eye upward.

This makes the fabric especially attractive for:

• Floor-length curtains
• Tall bedroom windows
• Living-room windows
• Dining-room windows
• High ceilings
• French doors
• Sliding doors
• Floor-to-ceiling windows
• Extra-long custom curtains

The continuous vertical pattern can visually emphasise the height of a room.

Once gathered, alternating navy, dusty blue, cream and beige stripes move in and out of the folds, creating even greater texture and depth.

PURE HEAVYWEIGHT LINEN — APPROXIMATELY 294 GSM

The decorative face fabric is PURE LINEN.

The supplied fabric weight is:

403 GRAMS PER LINEAR METRE

on fabric measuring:

54 INCHES WIDE.

54 inches equals approximately 1.3716 metres.

At this fabric width:

403 grams per linear metre = approximately 294 GSM

or approximately:

294 GRAMS PER SQUARE METRE.

This is substantial curtain-weight pure linen rather than lightweight linen voile or gauze.

The approximately 294 GSM construction provides:

• Excellent fabric body
• A substantial natural fall
• Defined vertical folds
• Rich natural texture
• Strong visual presence
• A premium heavyweight appearance
• Suitability for wide windows
• Suitability for extra-long curtains
• Beautiful drape on floor-length panels

NATURAL PURE LINEN CHARACTER

Pure linen is made from natural flax fibre.

It should not be expected to have the perfectly uniform appearance of a synthetic fabric.

Normal characteristics can include:

• Linen slubs
• Slight yarn-thickness variations
• Occasional thicker fibres
• Occasional finer fibres
• Small weave irregularities
• Natural tonal changes
• Visible woven texture
• Gentle natural creasing

These variations are inherent characteristics of genuine linen rather than manufacturing defects.

They are part of the relaxed organic character of the fabric.

UNLINED — SEMI-SHEER PRIVACY CURTAINS

Choose UNLINED when you want to experience the pure linen in its most natural form.

Although this is thick and substantial approximately 294 GSM linen, genuine woven linen can still allow daylight through its structure when strongly illuminated from behind.

The unlined curtain therefore has a naturally:

SEMI-SHEER / LIGHT-FILTERING / PRIVACY CURTAIN QUALITY.

These curtains are considerably thicker and heavier than lightweight voile or gauze sheers.

However, unlined natural linen does not provide complete opacity.

The unlined option provides:

• Softly filtered natural daylight
• Moderate daytime privacy
• Maximum visibility of the natural linen weave
• A relaxed drape
• Beautiful illumination of the stripe pattern
• A lighter finished window treatment

HOW THE STRIPES APPEAR WHEN BACKLIT

When daylight passes through the curtain:

• Cream areas become brighter and more luminous
• Deep navy stripes remain substantially darker
• Dusty-blue stripes become softly defined
• Beige and flax pinstripes can become more noticeable

This creates a beautiful layered striped effect that changes subtly according to the direction and strength of daylight.

UNLINED PRIVACY NOTE

Strong backlighting may allow silhouettes to remain visible through unlined linen.

At night, privacy can also decrease when room lights are switched on while it is dark outside.

If complete opacity and stronger privacy are required, choose the organic cotton liner.

ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT-FILTERING LINER

Choose the ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT-FILTERING LINER when you want greater privacy while retaining softly filtered natural daylight.

The organic cotton liner is fitted behind the striped pure linen face.

This option makes the completed curtain completely opaque rather than semi-sheer.

Benefits include:

• Complete visual opacity through the curtain body
• Increased privacy
• Reduced visibility of silhouettes
• Softly filtered daylight
• Additional curtain body
• Fuller-looking folds
• A more substantial finished drape

This lining works particularly well for:

• Living rooms
• Bedrooms
• Guest bedrooms
• Dining rooms
• Home offices
• Children's rooms
• Nurseries
• Street-facing windows

Choose organic cotton lining when privacy and opacity are important but complete darkness is not required.

OEKO-TEX® CERTIFIED 100% BLACKOUT LINER

Choose the OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 CERTIFIED 100% BLACKOUT POLYCOTTON LINER when maximum light blocking is required.

The blackout lining is designed to prevent transmitted light from passing through the curtain body.

This option is especially suitable for:

• Bedrooms
• Nurseries
• Children's bedrooms
• Guest rooms
• Media rooms
• Home cinemas
• Windows exposed to strong morning sunlight
• Rooms affected by exterior lighting
• Shift workers
• Customers who prefer a very dark sleeping environment

The decorative navy, blue, beige and cream linen remains visible inside the room.

The blackout layer sits behind the face fabric and performs the light-blocking function.

The curtain body itself provides complete blackout.

Please remember that complete ROOM darkness also depends on installation.

Light can still enter around:

• Outer edges
• Centre opening
• Top
• Bottom

if gaps remain around the curtains.

For the strongest room-darkening effect, allow generous curtain coverage around the window.

SOLD AS A SINGLE CURTAIN OR PAIR / SET OF TWO

These curtains can be purchased individually or as a matching pair.

SINGLE PIECE

Selecting SINGLE PIECE means you receive:

ONE FINISHED CURTAIN PANEL.

PAIR / SET OF TWO

Selecting PAIR / SET OF TWO means you receive:

TWO MATCHING FINISHED CURTAIN PANELS.

A pair is generally installed with one panel on either side of the window.

Please carefully check whether you have selected a single panel or pair before completing your order.

STANDARD WIDTH OPTIONS

Available standard finished widths are:

• 50 INCHES
• 100 INCHES

The selected width refers to the approximate FLAT FINISHED WIDTH OF EACH INDIVIDUAL CURTAIN before gathering.

CURTAIN FULLNESS

Flat curtain width is different from the amount of window space the curtain occupies once gathered.

Curtains generally look fuller and more luxurious when their combined flat width exceeds the width of the curtain rod or track.

The ideal amount of fullness depends on:

• Curtain rod width
• Curtain track width
• Number of panels
• Heading style
• Preferred amount of gathering

For example:

A PAIR OF 50-INCH-WIDE CURTAINS provides approximately 100 inches of combined flat finished width before gathering.

IMPORTANT — 100-INCH-WIDE CURTAINS

The face linen is approximately 50 inches wide for curtain construction.

Therefore:

EVERY 100-INCH-WIDE CURTAIN WILL BE MADE BY JOINING TWO APPROXIMATELY 50-INCH FABRIC PANELS.

The two fabric widths are professionally sewn together.

This creates one vertical joining seam through the finished 100-inch-wide curtain.

Once the curtain is installed and naturally gathered into folds, the seam is generally BARELY VISIBLE.

Joining fabric widths is a standard professional curtain-making method for producing extra-wide curtains.

If you purchase a PAIR of 100-inch curtains, each individual 100-inch curtain will contain its own joining seam.

STRIPE ALIGNMENT AT THE JOIN

Because this is continuously striped fabric, the two sections will be joined as neatly and harmoniously as practical.

The stripe arrangement will be considered during construction so the finished panel remains visually balanced.

Once the curtain is installed and gathered, the joining seam generally sits naturally within the folds and becomes considerably less noticeable.

STANDARD HEIGHT OPTIONS

Finished curtain heights are available from:

36 INCHES TO 180 INCHES

in 12-inch increments.

Available standard heights are:

• 36 inches
• 48 inches
• 60 inches
• 72 inches
• 84 inches
• 96 inches
• 108 inches
• 120 inches
• 132 inches
• 144 inches
• 156 inches
• 168 inches
• 180 inches

This extensive range makes the curtains suitable for smaller standard windows as well as dramatic floor-to-ceiling installations.

• Cream sofas
• Oatmeal upholstery
• Natural oak
• Reclaimed timber

• Linen upholstery
• Limestone
• Antique brass
• Wicker

For coastal interiors, combine these curtains with:

• Warm white
• Pale oak
• Natural rattan
• Jute
• Cream upholstery
• Soft blue accents
• Linen furniture

The beige and flax stripes keep the fabric relaxed and prevent the navy from feeling too formal.

ENGLISH COUNTRY & COTTAGE INTERIORS

This stripe can also be layered beautifully with:

• Botanical cushions
• Floral fabrics
• Plaid accessories
• Antique timber
• Painted furniture
• Traditional lamps
• Vintage rugs
• Blue-and-white ceramics

Its structured stripe gives balance to more organic floral patterns.

ORGANIC MODERN INTERIORS

The natural pure linen also makes the curtain suitable for organic-modern spaces.

Pair it with:

• Pale oak
• Walnut
• Travertine
• Limestone
• Cream boucle
• Natural linen upholstery
• Handmade ceramics
• Woven fibres
• Minimal furniture

The blue provides gentle colour while the linen and beige tones preserve the organic character.

BEDROOM CURTAINS

For bedrooms:

Choose UNLINED for softly filtered daylight and the most natural linen appearance.

Choose ORGANIC COTTON LINED for complete opacity and increased privacy while retaining softly filtered ambient light.

Choose BLACKOUT LINED when maximum light blocking is required.

LIVING ROOM CURTAINS

These striped curtains pair beautifully with:

• Cream sofas
• Beige upholstery
• Oatmeal linen
• Cognac leather
• Natural oak
• Walnut
• Travertine
• Limestone

The navy adds visual definition while the lighter blues and beige stripes keep the overall effect balanced.

DINING ROOM CURTAINS

Coordinate them with:

• Oak dining tables
• Walnut furniture
• Cane chairs
• Cream upholstery
• Antique-brass lighting
• Blue-and-white ceramics
• Natural stone
• Woven rugs

The vertical pattern gives a dining room subtle architectural structure.

EXTRA-LONG CURTAINS

Standard lengths extend up to 180 inches.

This makes the fabric suitable for:

• Floor-to-ceiling windows
• High ceilings
• Double-height rooms
• Tall bedrooms
• Large living rooms
• French doors
• Sliding doors
• Architectural glazing

The uninterrupted vertical stripes are particularly attractive on very long curtain drops because they naturally emphasise height.

PATTERN PLACEMENT

Each curtain is individually cut from continuously striped fabric.

The exact position of particular navy, dusty-blue, beige and cream stripes relative to the side edges may vary according to the selected finished width.

When a pair is ordered, the panels will coordinate beautifully, although exact mirror-image stripe placement should not be expected.

COLOR & SCREEN DISCLAIMER

Blue and neutral shades can change noticeably depending on lighting.

The darkest stripes may appear:

• Navy blue
• Indigo
• Dark denim
• Midnight blue

The medium stripes may appear:

• Denim blue
• Dusty blue
• Slate blue
• Soft French blue

The neutral lines may appear:

• Beige
• Sand
• Camel
• Natural flax

The lighter ground can shift between:

• Cream
• Ivory
• Oatmeal
• Natural linen

Phone, tablet and computer screens can reproduce these subtle shades differently.

If precise coordination with existing upholstery, cabinetry, wallpaper or paint is important, viewing a physical fabric swatch before ordering multiple large custom curtain panels is recommended.

NATURAL CREASING

Pure linen naturally develops creases during folding, handling and shipping.

Many softer creases relax naturally once the curtains are installed and allowed to hang.

The finished curtains are intended to retain the authentic relaxed character of linen rather than look unnaturally rigid or synthetic.

CARE

Professional dry cleaning is recommended, especially for lined curtains.

Avoid:

• Aggressive machine washing
• High-temperature washing
• Bleach
• Harsh detergents
• Excessive mechanical agitation

Professional care provides the safest way to preserve the natural linen face fabric, lining and custom finished dimensions.
