Natural Beige Linen Curtains: Teal Indigo Indian Mughal Floral Bird Print, Custom Blackout Drapes
NATURAL BEIGE, TEAL & INDIGO MUGHAL-INSPIRED PRINTED LINEN CURTAINS
Bring the rich character of traditional Indian textile design into your home with these thick and substantial printed linen curtains, featuring an intricate Mughal-inspired botanical and bird pattern in teal, turquoise and deep indigo-blue against a warm natural flax beige background.
These custom linen curtains are available as either a SINGLE CURTAIN PANEL or a PAIR / SET OF 2 and can be ordered unlined, with an organic cotton light-filtering liner, or with a 100% blackout OEKO-TEX certified polycotton liner.
With their natural linen texture, ornamental floral design and sophisticated blue-green color palette, these curtains work beautifully in living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, home offices, kitchens, guest rooms and globally inspired interiors.
They can also be made as CAFE CURTAINS / SHORT WINDOW CURTAINS on request.
COLOR & PATTERN
BASE COLOR:
The linen ground is a warm NATURAL FLAX BEIGE / OATMEAL BEIGE.
It is not a bright white or stark cream.
Depending on the lighting and surrounding furnishings, the background may also appear as:
Natural linen
Flax beige
Oatmeal
Warm stone
Sand beige
Light greige
Muted mushroom beige
The naturally textured linen weave creates subtle variation throughout the background and gives the curtain a relaxed, organic appearance.
TEAL & TURQUOISE DETAILS:
A rich teal to turquoise blue-green is used throughout the botanical motifs.
These areas include:
Stylized flowers
Flower centers
Leaves
Small geometric diamonds
Decorative border details
Horizontal stripe accents
Bird details
The teal is rich but slightly muted rather than neon or overly bright.
INDIGO & DEEP BLUE DETAILS:
Much of the fine outlining and ornamental linework is printed in a muted deep indigo / navy-blue tone.
This darker blue creates definition around the flowers, architectural frames, birds, geometric borders and decorative bands.
Because the color is softly weathered rather than very dark black, the overall look remains gentle and textile-like.
MUGHAL-INSPIRED BOTANICAL & BIRD PATTERN
The design is arranged in decorative horizontal sections rather than as one simple repeating flower.
The main sections contain framed Mughal-inspired flowering trees and stylized botanical plants.
Some panels feature rounded flower heads arranged around branching stems, while others contain tulip-like and leaf-shaped motifs.
Narrow architectural borders divide the botanical panels and feature repeating geometric diamond and lattice shapes.
Between the floral sections are multiple horizontal striped bands in teal, indigo and natural beige.
One of the most distinctive sections features a small outlined bird surrounded by an irregular pebble, scallop or stone-like pattern.
The combination of:
Mughal floral motifs
Indian-inspired botanical forms
Decorative architectural frames
Geometric borders
Horizontal stripes
Bird motifs
Teal and indigo coloring
creates the appearance of a traditional Indian textile interpreted as a sophisticated printed linen drapery fabric.
The pattern has a collected, globally inspired character that can complement:
Indian-inspired interiors
Bohemian homes
Eclectic interiors
Global decor
Traditional interiors
Farmhouse spaces
Natural linen interiors
Blue and green rooms
Coastal-inspired rooms
Vintage-inspired decor
Mediterranean interiors
Earthy neutral spaces
THICK & HEAVY LINEN FABRIC
These curtains are made from a substantial printed linen fabric with a fabric weight of approximately 294 GSM.
The original fabric specification is 403 grams per linear meter at approximately 54 inches / 137 cm wide, which converts to approximately 294 grams per square meter.
The heavier linen construction gives the curtains:
Beautiful natural drape
Visible woven linen texture
More substance than lightweight linen sheers
Soft structured folds
A premium textile appearance
Better privacy than very lightweight sheer curtains
The fabric still retains the characteristic natural texture and slight irregularity associated with linen.
LINING OPTIONS
Choose from three finishing options:
1. UNLINED
The unlined version allows natural daylight to filter through the linen.
It has a semi-sheer privacy effect rather than behaving like a completely transparent sheer curtain.
This option is ideal when you want:
Natural filtered daylight
A relaxed linen appearance
Soft daytime privacy
Visible linen texture
A lighter window treatment
2. ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT-FILTERING LINER
Add an organic cotton liner when greater privacy and opacity are required.
The cotton lining helps make the curtain fully opaque from normal viewing while still allowing softly filtered natural light into the room.
This option is especially suitable for:
Living rooms
Dining rooms
Bedrooms where complete darkness is not required
Street-facing windows
Rooms needing additional privacy
3. 100% BLACKOUT OEKO-TEX CERTIFIED POLYCOTTON LINER
Choose the blackout liner when maximum light blocking is required.
The OEKO-TEX certified polycotton blackout lining is designed to block light completely through the curtain fabric.
This option is ideal for:
Bedrooms
Nurseries
Media rooms
Guest bedrooms
Shift workers
Rooms receiving strong morning or afternoon sunlight
The blackout lining is concealed behind the decorative linen face so the Mughal-inspired print remains the visible feature of the finished curtain.
