Measure for your curtains

Enter your width and height together, then apply your measurements.

Size-dropdown widths are flat fabric widths per curtain.

A gathered curtain covers less space than its flat fabric width. Choose fullness below; Grommet/Eyelet and Pinch pleats always need 2× your coverage width.

This selection also updates Heading style on the product page.

Choose your fullness

Multiply the rod / track coverage by your fullness, then divide by the number of curtains.

Photorealistic fullness examples; actual folds vary with fabric and heading.

Measure the usable span of your installed rod or track, from one end of the curtain coverage to the other. Exclude decorative finials.

A pair contains two curtains. The flat fabric width you order is per curtain, not the combined pair. Choosing a curtain count here updates Panel quantity on the product page.

Enter the full measured drop. For Hooks top only, we subtract 1 in (2.54 cm) because the curtain hangs slightly below the rod. Do not deduct it yourself.

Finished curtain height to orderEnter the height you measured above.

Apply your measurements

We select the exact available flat-width × finished-height size, or the closest larger size fitting both dimensions. For a larger size, your exact request is added to Custom sizes / requirements, preserving your own notes. Your curtain-count choice also updates Panel quantity on the product page.

Review your heading and fullness before applying. This updates your selected size but does not add anything to your cart.

Measure the space your curtains will cover

Measure the usable span of your installed rod or track, from one end of the curtain coverage to the other. Exclude decorative finials.

Measure the usable rod or track span—not the window glass or decorative finials.

Example: a 100 in (254 cm) rod, two curtains and 2× fullness need 100 in (254 cm) flat width per curtain.

Flat fabric width before gathering or pleating—not the hanging coverage.

Measure from the top of the rod to your chosen bottom

Measure straight down from the top of your installed curtain rod to where you want the curtains to end. For a track, use the top of the installed track.

Start at the top of the rod or track. Stop at your chosen bottom.

Natural Beige Linen Curtains, Taupe Jacobean Floral Embroidered Drapes, Custom Blackout Bedroom & Living Room Panels — image 1

Natural Beige Linen Curtains, Taupe Jacobean Floral Embroidered Drapes, Custom Blackout Bedroom & Living Room Panels

Product description
Shipping & returns

Bring warm natural texture, quiet elegance and intricate heritage-inspired detail into your home with these natural beige linen curtains, handmade from thick and heavy pure linen embroidered fabric. The warm oatmeal-beige background is decorated with delicate taupe and soft brown Jacobean floral embroidery, creating an elegant custom window treatment with the organic character of natural linen and the refined appearance of an antique botanical textile.

The base fabric is best described as natural beige, oatmeal, flax and soft greige. Its lightly variegated woven surface gives it the relaxed appearance of undyed linen rather than a flat solid color. The embroidery is a muted taupe brown with mushroom, cocoa, warm gray and antique beige undertones. Because the embroidery sits close in tone to the linen background, the overall effect is sophisticated and subtly tonal rather than bold or high contrast.

The embroidered pattern features winding botanical vines, ornamental flowers, small rosette-like blossoms, fern-shaped leaves, outlined foliage, decorative seed heads and large stylized Jacobean floral motifs. The vines move organically across the fabric rather than following rigid rows, creating the appearance of a hand-drawn heritage textile.

The larger flowers contain beautifully detailed embroidered sections, including curved bands, scalloped fills, leaf-like stitching, lattice textures and fine outlined petals. Smaller blossoms, leaves and trailing stems fill the spaces between the larger motifs while allowing plenty of the natural linen background to remain visible.

From across the room, these curtains create a soft beige-and-taupe botanical impression. At closer range, the detailed threadwork reveals individual petals, fine stems, leaves, textured floral centers and carefully embroidered outlines. The design is decorative enough to add visual interest while remaining neutral and versatile enough for everyday interiors.

These embroidered linen curtains are particularly well suited to English country, French country, farmhouse, cottage, vintage, grandmillennial, botanical, traditional, rustic, transitional and warm neutral interiors. Their restrained natural palette also works beautifully in modern homes where texture and subtle pattern are preferred over bright color.

The beige and taupe tones coordinate especially well with:

Warm white and cream walls

Ivory upholstery and bedding

Natural oak, walnut and reclaimed wood furniture

Black metal curtain rods

Antique brass and brushed gold hardware

Stone, travertine and ceramic accessories

Sage green and muted olive accents

Dusty blue and charcoal decor

Rattan, cane and woven baskets

Jute, wool and natural-fiber rugs

Use these custom linen panels as living room curtains, bedroom curtains, dining room drapes, kitchen curtains, guest room curtains, home-office curtains, nursery curtains or decorative window panels for a library, sitting room, dressing room or sunroom.

FABRIC DETAILS

Material: Thick and heavy pure linen embroidered fabric

Base color: Natural beige, oatmeal, flax and soft greige

Embroidery color: Taupe brown, mushroom, warm gray and antique beige

Pattern: Jacobean-inspired floral vine with ornamental blossoms, rosettes, fern-like leaves, seed heads, scrolling stems and large botanical motifs

Fabric weight: Approximately 294 GSM

The approximate 294 GSM weight has been converted from the supplied weight of 403 grams per linear meter for fabric measuring 54 inches wide.

This substantial embroidered linen is considerably heavier and richer than lightweight linen. It has a visible natural weave, excellent body and a soft but structured fall. Once installed, the fabric forms elegant folds while retaining the slightly relaxed character associated with genuine linen.

The raised embroidery adds further texture, dimension and visual depth. In bright natural daylight, the floral details become clearer and more pronounced. Under softer evening lighting, the embroidery blends more gently into the beige base and creates an elegant tonal effect.

HEADING STYLE OPTIONS

HOOKS TOP

The hooks-top heading is compatible with both curtain rods and curtain tracks.

Curtain hooks can be attached to rings on a rod or fitted into compatible gliders or runners on a curtain track. This option creates a versatile and tailored appearance and is practical for curtains that will be opened and closed frequently.

The hooks are positioned behind the curtain heading so that the embroidered front remains neat and uninterrupted.

BACK TABS

Fabric tabs are sewn discreetly behind the upper edge of the curtain. The rod passes through these hidden tabs, leaving the front of the heading clean and free from visible loops.

Back tabs create soft, structured folds and work especially well in farmhouse, cottage, transitional, botanical and relaxed traditional interiors.

ROD POCKET

A fabric channel is sewn across the top of the curtain, allowing the curtain rod to pass directly through the heading.

Rod-pocket curtains create a gently gathered appearance and are particularly suitable for bedrooms, nurseries, kitchens, cottage homes and decorative windows where the panels will not need to slide frequently.

GROMMETS

Metal eyelets are fitted across the curtain heading so that the rod passes directly through the grommets.

This style creates evenly spaced folds, allows the panels to move easily along the rod and gives the traditional embroidered linen a cleaner and slightly more contemporary appearance.

LINING OPTIONS

UNLINED

The unlined option best showcases the natural woven texture of the pure linen and allows daylight to softly illuminate the embroidered floral pattern.

When unlined, these panels function as semi-sheer privacy curtains. They gently soften direct sunlight and provide a degree of daytime privacy while keeping the room bright, airy and welcoming.

The taupe botanical details become especially attractive when softly backlit by a window. Because the unlined linen is semi-sheer, silhouettes may remain visible at night when the room is brightly illuminated from inside.

Choose the unlined version when natural light, visible linen texture and a relaxed decorative appearance are more important than complete nighttime privacy.

ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT-FILTERING LINER

The organic cotton light-filtering liner adds privacy, opacity, body and structure while continuing to allow soft natural daylight into the room.

This option makes the curtains completely opaque, preventing the window, furniture or objects behind the fabric from being clearly visible through the panels.

The organic cotton liner also gives the curtains a fuller and more substantial fall, helping the embroidered linen form deeper and more defined folds.

This lining is an excellent choice for living rooms, dining rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, guest rooms, nurseries and home offices where privacy is required without creating complete darkness.

100% BLACKOUT LINER

The blackout option uses an OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, non-toxic polycotton liner made from 50% cotton and 50% polyester.

This liner is designed to completely block the light passing through the curtain fabric while also providing maximum privacy.

The blackout option is especially suitable for:

Bedrooms

Nurseries

Children’s rooms

Guest rooms

Home theaters

Media rooms

Shift workers

Light-sensitive sleepers

For the darkest possible room, the curtains should extend sufficiently beyond the top and sides of the window. Generous panel width and adequate overlap will help reduce light entering through gaps around the edges.

100% Blackout

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR 100-INCH-WIDE CURTAINS

A 100-inch-wide curtain will be constructed by carefully joining two 50-inch-wide sections of embroidered linen.

Each individual 100-inch-wide curtain will therefore have one vertical joining seam in the middle.

The seam is professionally sewn and neatly finished. Once the curtain is installed, gathered and arranged into natural folds, the center seam is barely visible. The detailed embroidery and textured linen surface also help the joining line blend naturally into the finished curtain.

This construction is necessary because the decorative embroidered fabric is produced in a limited loom width and cannot be cut as one continuous 100-inch-wide piece.

When ordering a pair of 100-inch-wide curtains, both individual curtain panels will be made using this joined construction.

CAFE CURTAINS

We can also make cafe curtains from this natural beige and taupe embroidered linen fabric.

Cafe curtains are ideal for kitchen windows, breakfast nooks, pantry windows, laundry rooms, bathroom windows, cottage windows and other smaller windows where privacy is needed across the lower section while the upper part remains open to daylight.

The understated beige background and tonal taupe embroidery make this fabric particularly attractive for farmhouse kitchens, English country breakfast rooms, traditional pantries and warm neutral utility spaces.

For customized cafe curtains, select the next available size that is equal to or larger than your required measurements. Enter the exact finished width and length in the order details email together with your preferred heading style and liner option.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE CORRECT CURTAIN WIDTH

Measure the usable width of your curtain rod or track. Do not include decorative finials when calculating the usable width.

For a lightly gathered appearance, the combined curtain width should generally be approximately 1.5 times the usable rod or track width.

For fuller and more luxurious folds, the combined curtain width should generally be approximately twice the usable rod or track width.

Example:

For a rod measuring 50 inches wide, approximately 75 inches of combined curtain width creates lighter gathering.

Approximately 100 inches of combined curtain width creates fuller and richer folds.

When purchasing a pair, calculate the combined width of both panels.

For example:

Two curtain panels measuring 50 inches wide each provide a total combined width of 100 inches.

The ideal fullness may vary depending on your chosen heading style, window dimensions, frequency of use and preferred final appearance.

HOW TO MEASURE THE CURTAIN LENGTH

HOOKS TOP

Measure from the point where the curtain hook will hang to your required finished position.

BACK TABS

Measure from the top of the curtain rod to your required finished position.

Measure from the top of the curtain rod to your required finished position.

Possible finished positions include:

At the windowsill

Slightly below the windowsill

NATURAL LINEN AND HANDMADE CHARACTER

Each curtain is individually made to order. The exact placement of flowers, foliage and trailing vines may vary depending on the selected curtain dimensions and the portion of fabric from which each panel is cut.

Natural linen may contain subtle slubs, fine irregular yarns, occasional thicker threads and minor variations in the woven surface. These are normal characteristics of genuine linen and contribute to its natural, organic appearance.

Small variations in finished measurements may occur because linen is a natural woven textile and each curtain is individually measured, cut and sewn.

Colors can appear slightly different depending on daylight, artificial lighting, photography, camera settings and individual screen displays.

The base fabric is best described as natural beige, oatmeal or flax rather than bright white or yellow cream. The embroidery is a soft taupe brown with warm gray and mushroom undertones rather than a dark chocolate brown.
