STEP 1 — WIDTH

Measure the exact internal width of the recess at the TOP where the Roman shade will be installed.

Also check the middle and bottom to ensure that the window opening does not become narrower.

STEP 2 — HEIGHT

Measure the exact internal height from the top of the recess to the required bottom position.

Measure the width of the window or window frame.
