The fabric has a beautiful matte texture with natural linen character and a refined chevron/herringbone pattern that reads elegant up close and softly textured from a distance. MEASURING GUIDE (STEP-BY-STEP)
A) INSIDE RECESS / INSIDE MOUNT (shade fits within the window frame)
1. Measure the inside width at the TOP, MIDDLE, and BOTTOM of the recess.
2. Use the smallest width measurement.
3. Measure the inside height at the LEFT, CENTER, and RIGHT.
4. Use the largest height measurement.
Tip: Ensure your recess depth is sufficient for a Roman shade (message us if unsure). Accurate measuring ensures a neat, built-in look.
B) OUTSIDE RECESS / OUTSIDE MOUNT (shade mounts above/over the frame)
1. Measure the width of the area you want to cover (frame + extra coverage).
2. For better light and privacy coverage, many customers add 2–4 inches (5–10 cm) on each side.
3. Measure the drop/height from where you want the shade to start to where you want it to end (sill, below sill, or longer).
