Ivory Teal Blue Silk Jacquard Curtains, Taupe Abstract Botanical Drapes, Custom Blackout or Light Filtering Panels
IVORY, TEAL BLUE AND TAUPE SILK JACQUARD CURTAINS WITH AN ABSTRACT PAINTERLY BOTANICAL DESIGN
Bring the expressive beauty of an abstract landscape painting and the luxurious luminosity of silk jacquard to your windows with these custom-made, thick and heavy curtain panels.
The substantial silk jacquard face fabric has a softly lustrous pearl-ivory ground woven with large, fragmented botanical forms in deep teal, petrol blue, slate blue, pale aqua, muted sage, taupe, sand, mushroom brown and subtle dusty-rose accents.
The design resembles overlapping tree canopies, painterly foliage, soft floral masses and sweeping dark branches viewed through atmospheric light. Its irregular, broken edges create the impression of watercolor washes or weathered brushstrokes, while the close-up view reveals that this character is created within the woven jacquard surface.
The result is artistic and contemporary without feeling harsh or overly graphic. From across the room, the curtains create a calm abstract botanical statement. At closer range, the changes in weave, silk-thread reflection and textured pattern become increasingly visible.
COLOR DESCRIPTION
The background is best described as:
• Pearl ivory
• Soft cream
• Warm off-white
• Pale champagne ivory
• Light natural beige
• Subtle oyster
It is not a stark optical white. The ground has a gentle warmth and a soft silk-like luminosity that changes according to the direction of the light.
The cooler pattern colors include:
• Deep teal
• Petrol blue
• Slate blue
• Dusty blue
• Steel blue
• Soft blue-grey
• Pale aqua
• Muted seafoam
• Cool sage
• Blue-green
The warmer pattern colors include:
• Mushroom taupe
• Sand beige
• Oatmeal
• Stone
• Warm grey-brown
• Cocoa brown
• Soft mocha
• Muted caramel
• Faint dusty rose
• Weathered blush-brown
The pattern is predominantly ivory, teal blue, sage and taupe. The darker petrol-blue and brown areas provide definition, while the pale cream and aqua sections soften the overall composition.
Depending on the room lighting, the teal sections may appear more blue, green-blue or petrol. The taupe areas may shift between mushroom, sand, beige and warm grey-brown. The lustrous ivory ground can appear creamier under warm artificial light and more pearl-white in cool daylight.
PATTERN DESCRIPTION
The jacquard has a large-scale abstract botanical or woodland pattern.
Broad, irregular clusters resemble:
• Layered tree canopies
• Soft foliage masses
• Abstract flowers
• Painterly leaves
• Weathered branches
• Misty garden forms
• Atmospheric watercolor brushstrokes
A number of darker curved lines read as natural branches or trunks running through the softer surrounding foliage.
The design is intentionally impressionistic. It does not depict one identifiable flower, plant or tree species. Instead, it creates the feeling of a serene garden, hazy woodland or abstract botanical painting.
The edges of the colored forms are broken, faded and irregular rather than sharply outlined. This gives the curtains an artistic, softly aged appearance and prevents the large-scale pattern from becoming overly formal.
GENUINE JACQUARD CONSTRUCTION
This textile has a woven jacquard appearance rather than an ordinary surface print.
The pattern is created through changes in colored yarn, weave direction, thread density and surface reflection. Some areas appear smoother and more luminous, while other sections have a more textured, broken or tapestry-like appearance.
The close-up photographs reveal:
• Fine lustrous yarns
• Changes in weave direction
• Raised and recessed woven areas
• Small irregular blocks of color
• Textured cream highlights
• Dense teal and blue woven sections
• Fragmented taupe and beige details
As light moves across the curtains, the smoother silk areas may reflect more strongly than the textured jacquard areas. The apparent depth and color of the pattern can therefore change throughout the day.
This natural changeability is a defining characteristic of silk jacquard and is part of its visual appeal.
FABRIC AND WEIGHT
• Face fabric: Silk jacquard
• Construction: Woven multicolored jacquard
• Approximate face-fabric weight: 294 GSM
• Original supplied specification: 403 grams per linear meter at 54 inches wide
• Overall weight: Thick, heavy and substantial
• Surface: Textured with softly lustrous woven areas
• Pattern scale: Large-scale abstract botanical or woodland composition
• Finish: Custom made in your selected size, quantity, heading and lining option
The supplied weight of 403 grams per linear meter for 54-inch-wide fabric converts to approximately 294 grams per square meter.
This substantial weight gives the curtains considerably more presence than lightweight silk voile or thin decorative sheers. The fabric forms elegant vertical folds and has enough body to display its large painterly pattern clearly.
SINGLE PANEL OR PAIR OF TWO
These custom curtains are available as:
• One individual curtain panel
• One pair or set of two curtain panels
Please select the appropriate quantity from the variation menu.
The width and length selected in the size menu refer to EACH INDIVIDUAL PANEL, not the combined measurement of a pair.
Examples:
• One 50-inch panel provides 50 inches of flat fabric width
• A pair of 50-inch panels provides 100 inches of combined flat width
• One 100-inch panel provides 100 inches of flat fabric width
• A pair of 100-inch panels provides 200 inches of combined flat width
AVAILABLE WIDTHS
• 50 inches wide — approximately 127 cm
• 100 inches wide — approximately 254 cm
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR 100-INCH-WIDE PANELS
The silk jacquard fabric is produced in approximately 50-inch usable widths.
Every finished 100-inch-wide curtain panel will therefore be constructed by carefully joining two approximately 50-inch sections of fabric.
There will be one vertical joining seam near the middle of each 100-inch-wide curtain panel.
The seam is professionally sewn and generally becomes barely visible after the curtain is installed, gathered and arranged into folds. It may remain visible when the curtain is laid completely flat or examined closely.
This joining method is necessary for producing extra-wide panels from the available fabric width and is a normal feature of custom drapery construction.
AVAILABLE LENGTHS
Finished lengths are available from 36 inches to 180 inches in 12-inch increments:
• 36 inches — approximately 91 cm
• 48 inches — approximately 122 cm
• 60 inches — approximately 152 cm
• 72 inches — approximately 183 cm
• 84 inches — approximately 213 cm
• 96 inches — approximately 244 cm
• 108 inches — approximately 274 cm
• 120 inches — approximately 305 cm
• 132 inches — approximately 335 cm
• 144 inches — approximately 366 cm
• 156 inches — approximately 396 cm
• 168 inches — approximately 427 cm
• 180 inches — approximately 457 cm
These options are suitable for short windows, standard residential windows, floor-length drapery, patio doors, tall windows, double-height rooms and extra-high ceilings.
CUSTOM CURTAIN SIZES
Custom finished measurements are welcome.
If your exact size is not shown in the menu, select the next available standard width and length larger than the finished size you require. Enter your exact measurements in the order details email.
Example:
If you require a finished curtain measuring 50 inches wide × 89 inches long, select the 50 × 96-inch option and write:
“Exact finished size required: 50 W × 89 L inches.”
Please do not select a standard size smaller than your required finished measurements. The selected option must provide enough fabric for the requested customization.
LINING OPTIONS
Choose from three light-control and privacy options.
1. UNLINED — SEMI-SHEER PRIVACY
The unlined silk jacquard allows softly filtered daylight to pass through the lighter woven areas while displaying the fabric’s natural sheen and most fluid drape.
Because this is a thick, substantial jacquard rather than a lightweight sheer, it provides useful daytime privacy. However, the unlined curtain should still be considered semi-sheer rather than completely opaque.
At night, silhouettes may be visible from outside when the room is illuminated.
The unlined option is especially suitable for:
• Living rooms
• Dining rooms
• Studies
• Formal sitting rooms
• Kitchens
• Rooms where softly filtered daylight is desired
2. ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT-FILTERING LINER
The organic cotton liner increases privacy, adds body and makes the curtain completely opaque while still allowing softly diffused natural light into the room.
Choose the cotton liner if you want:
• Complete visual privacy
• Opaque curtain coverage
• A fuller, more structured drape
• Soft light filtration
• A natural-fiber lining option
• Additional protection for the reverse of the jacquard
The cotton liner reduces the semi-sheer quality of the unlined silk while preserving a softly illuminated appearance.
3. 100% BLACKOUT OEKO-TEX CERTIFIED POLYCOTTON LINER
Choose the blackout liner for maximum darkness.
The OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified blackout liner is made from polycotton comprising 50% cotton and 50% polyester. It is designed to block light completely through the lined curtain fabric.
This option is recommended for:
• Bedrooms
• Nurseries
• Children’s rooms
• Media rooms
• Home theaters
• Shift workers
• Light-sensitive sleepers
• Rooms where complete darkness is required
As with all blackout window treatments, a small amount of light may remain visible around the outer edges if there are gaps between the curtains and the wall or window.
For the darkest result, install the curtains above and beyond the window opening and choose enough width to create overlapping, full folds.
FOUR AVAILABLE HEADING STYLES
Please specify one of the following curtain-top styles.
HOOKS TOP
The hooks-top heading is compatible with curtain rods and curtain tracks.
It can be hung from rings on a rod or from compatible gliders on a track. This is an excellent option for bay windows, ceiling tracks and traditional curtain-ring installations.
BACK TABS
Fabric tabs are sewn discreetly across the reverse of the heading. The curtain rod slides through the hidden tabs, leaving the front clean and uncluttered.
Back tabs create soft, evenly spaced folds and work particularly well with contemporary, transitional and organic-modern interiors.
ROD POCKET
A fabric channel is sewn across the top of the curtain so it can slide directly onto a suitable rod.
Rod-pocket curtains create a softly gathered, relaxed finish and are suitable for both traditional and casual spaces.
GROMMETS
Metal grommets or eyelets are installed across the curtain heading. The rod passes directly through the openings.
Grommets create broad, regular folds and allow the curtains to move easily along a suitable rod.

Missing heading or liner information may delay production while we contact you for clarification.
HOW TO CHOOSE CURTAIN WIDTH AND FULLNESS
Measure the full width of the curtain rod or track rather than measuring only the glass.
For a lightly gathered appearance, the combined flat width of the curtains should generally be approximately 1.5 times the width being covered.
For a fuller and more luxurious appearance, the combined flat width should generally be approximately twice the rod or track width.
Example for a 100-inch-wide rod:
• Two 50-inch panels provide 100 inches of combined flat width and a relatively tailored appearance
• Two 100-inch panels provide 200 inches of combined flat width and a considerably fuller appearance
Allow additional width for center overlap, side coverage and the amount of gathering you prefer.

JACQUARD PATTERN PLACEMENT
This is a large-scale, organically arranged design. The exact position of the teal, blue, taupe and brown sections will vary according to the selected panel size and the location from which the fabric is cut.
Every curtain will contain a balanced section of the overall design, but the pattern placement will not be identical to the small fabric swatch.
For pairs, the panels will be coordinated for a balanced overall presentation. Exact mirror-image placement may not always be possible because of the jacquard repeat and custom panel measurements.
SILK AND JACQUARD CHARACTERISTICS
Silk yarns naturally reflect light and can appear lighter, darker or more lustrous when viewed from different angles.
The jacquard construction also contains transitions between smoother woven areas and denser textured areas. Small variations in yarn, weave and reflectivity are expected characteristics of this type of decorative fabric.
These should not be regarded as printing flaws or damage.
COLOR DISCLAIMER
The ground may appear pearl ivory, warm cream, oyster or pale champagne depending on the light.
The blue-green pattern may appear teal, petrol blue, dusty blue, slate, sage or seafoam under different conditions. The warmer areas may read as taupe, beige, mushroom, sand, cocoa or muted rose-brown.
Screen calibration, phone brightness and surrounding wall colors can alter how these nuanced shades appear. Ordering a fabric swatch before purchasing multiple or extra-large custom panels is recommended when precise color matching is essential.
