Measure for your curtains

Enter your width and height together, then apply your measurements.

Size-dropdown widths are flat fabric widths per curtain.

A gathered curtain covers less space than its flat fabric width. Choose fullness below; Grommet/Eyelet and Pinch pleats always need 2× your coverage width.

This selection also updates Heading style on the product page.

Choose your fullness

Multiply the rod / track coverage by your fullness, then divide by the number of curtains.

Photorealistic fullness examples; actual folds vary with fabric and heading.

Measure the usable span of your installed rod or track, from one end of the curtain coverage to the other. Exclude decorative finials.

A pair contains two curtains. The flat fabric width you order is per curtain, not the combined pair. Choosing a curtain count here updates Panel quantity on the product page.

Enter the full measured drop. For Hooks top only, we subtract 1 in (2.54 cm) because the curtain hangs slightly below the rod. Do not deduct it yourself.

Finished curtain height to orderEnter the height you measured above.

Apply your measurements

We select the exact available flat-width × finished-height size, or the closest larger size fitting both dimensions. For a larger size, your exact request is added to Custom sizes / requirements, preserving your own notes. Your curtain-count choice also updates Panel quantity on the product page.

Review your heading and fullness before applying. This updates your selected size but does not add anything to your cart.

How to measure · illustrations and examples

Measure the space your curtains will cover

Measure the usable span of your installed rod or track, from one end of the curtain coverage to the other. Exclude decorative finials.

Measure the usable rod or track span—not the window glass or decorative finials.

Example: a 100 in (254 cm) rod, two curtains and 2× fullness need 100 in (254 cm) flat width per curtain.

Flat fabric width before gathering or pleating—not the hanging coverage.

Measure from the top of the rod to your chosen bottom

Measure straight down from the top of your installed curtain rod to where you want the curtains to end. For a track, use the top of the installed track.

Start at the top of the rod or track. Stop at your chosen bottom.

IVORY, SAGE & OLIVE PURE LINEN EMBROIDERED CURTAINS WITH MUSTARD-GOLD IKAT GEOMETRIC EMBROIDERY

Bring sophisticated earthy colour, substantial natural linen texture and distinctive embroidered pattern to your windows with these custom-made thick and heavy pure linen curtains.

This beautiful fabric combines a warm ivory to natural off-white pure linen ground with an atmospheric abstract background in muted sage-grey, pale olive, soft moss, stone, greige and natural beige. Across this softly washed background is a large-scale embroidered geometric design in mustard gold, muted olive, khaki, grey-green, champagne beige and warm ivory.

The embroidery forms oversized diamonds, broken chevrons, angular peaks and large zigzag shapes with intentionally feathered and irregular edges.

Rather than looking like a perfectly sharp modern geometric print, the edges of the embroidered motifs appear softly blurred, distressed and brushstroke-like. This gives the fabric the visual character of traditional ikat textiles while retaining the tactile depth and dimensionality of genuine embroidery.

From a normal viewing distance, the curtains read primarily as:

IVORY + SAGE OLIVE + MUSTARD GOLD

with softer supporting shades of:

GREY GREEN + KHAKI + CHAMPAGNE BEIGE + GREIGE + STONE

The overall green is muted and earthy rather than bright emerald or vivid grass green. It sits between sage, olive and grey-green, making the curtains particularly easy to coordinate with neutral interiors and natural materials.

These made-to-order curtains can be purchased as:

• One Single Curtain Panel
• Pair / Set of 2 Matching Curtain Panels

Choose from:

• Unlined
• Organic Cotton Light-Filtering Liner
• 100% Blackout OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Certified Polycotton Liner

COLOUR DESCRIPTION

MAIN LINEN BACKGROUND

The underlying pure linen ground is a warm ivory to natural off-white.

It is not a bright optical white.

The visible linen weave has soft cream and natural flax undertones that give the fabric a relaxed, organic character.

Depending on the lighting, the lightest areas may appear:

• Warm ivory
• Natural off-white
• Soft cream
• Pale flax
• Pearl beige

The linen texture remains visible throughout the design and helps soften the colours of both the abstract background and embroidery.

SAGE, OLIVE & GREY-GREEN BACKGROUND

The background beneath the embroidered pattern has an intentionally soft, painterly appearance.

It contains muted areas of:

• Sage grey
• Soft olive
• Grey green
• Pale moss
• Dusty khaki
• Stone grey
• Light greige
• Natural beige

The background does not appear as one flat green colour.

Some sections are distinctly sage-grey, while others lean more olive, khaki or neutral stone.

There are also lighter ivory areas between the coloured washes, creating an airy and softly layered textile.

The effect resembles a faded watercolour or hand-painted abstract surface rather than a sharply defined print.

MUSTARD-GOLD EMBROIDERY

One of the most distinctive accent colours within the embroidery is a muted mustard-gold.

Depending on the lighting, these areas may appear:

• Mustard
• Ochre
• Antique gold
• Wheat gold
• Golden khaki
• Muted saffron

The colour is warm and earthy rather than bright yellow.

It introduces enough contrast to define the geometric pattern while remaining harmonious with the sage, olive and ivory background.

OLIVE & GREY-GREEN EMBROIDERY

Other sections of the embroidered geometric design move through cooler earthy shades such as:

• Muted olive
• Sage grey
• Grey green
• Soft moss
• Dusty khaki
• Lichen grey-green

These colours often sit alongside the mustard and champagne embroidery, creating subtle colour variation along each geometric line.

The variation prevents the design from looking like a flat single-colour stripe.

CHAMPAGNE & IVORY EMBROIDERY

Large sections of the pattern are also embroidered in pale neutral shades including:

• Champagne beige
• Warm ivory
• Natural flax
• Pale oatmeal
• Soft cream

These lighter sections make the overall geometric design feel sophisticated and balanced rather than heavy.

They also help connect the stronger mustard and olive embroidery back to the natural linen ground.

OVERALL COLOUR EFFECT

From across the room, the fabric has a soft earthy neutral appearance.

The strongest colour combination is:

Ivory + Sage Olive + Mustard Gold

with supporting tones of:

Khaki + Grey Green + Champagne Beige + Stone + Greige.

This makes the fabric especially suitable for interiors that use natural or muted colours.

It works beautifully with:

• Warm whites
• Ivory
• Cream
• Beige
• Greige
• Taupe
• Sage
• Olive
• Moss
• Natural wood
• Mustard or ochre accents

Please remember that colours can appear slightly different depending on:

• Natural daylight
• Warm or cool artificial lighting
• Surrounding wall colours
• Furniture and flooring
• Screen brightness
• Screen colour calibration
• Photography
• Viewing distance
• Direction from which the embroidery is viewed

IKAT-INSPIRED GEOMETRIC PATTERN

The dominant pattern is a large-scale geometric design inspired by traditional ikat textiles.

The embroidered forms include:

• Oversized diamonds
• Broken diamond shapes
• Chevron peaks
• Angular zigzags
• Large V-shaped forms
• Geometric mountain-like peaks
• Feathered embroidered edges

The edges of the pattern are intentionally irregular.

Rather than ending in perfectly straight lines, the embroidery tapers into rough, brushstroke-like points.

This creates the softened appearance typically associated with ikat-inspired textile designs.

The result feels less rigid than a conventional geometric curtain and works especially well in interiors that combine modern structure with natural materials.

The pattern can complement:

• Modern organic decor
• Bohemian interiors
• Organic modern homes
• Transitional interiors
• Contemporary neutral rooms
• Modern farmhouse interiors
• Earthy minimalist spaces
• Quiet luxury styling
• Global-inspired interiors
• Modern Mediterranean decor

REAL EMBROIDERED TEXTURE

The geometric design is embroidered directly onto the pure linen face fabric.

It is not simply printed onto the surface.

When viewed closely, the individual embroidery threads and directional stitching are visible.

The embroidery creates:

• Raised tactile detail
• Genuine textile dimension
• Additional body
• Subtle changes in light reflection
• Richer colour variation
• More depth than a flat geometric print
• A substantial designer-fabric appearance

Because embroidered threads reflect light differently according to their direction, certain sections may appear slightly lighter or darker as you move around the room.

This is a natural characteristic of embroidered fabric.

THICK & HEAVY PURE LINEN

These curtains are made from substantial pure linen face fabric.

The natural linen provides:

• Visible woven texture
• Organic fibre character
• Beautiful natural drape
• A substantial hand feel
• Rich curtain folds
• A relaxed yet sophisticated appearance

Natural pure linen may contain:

• Small slubs
• Slight thick-and-thin yarn variations
• Minor weave irregularities
• Occasional natural fibre variations
• Subtle tonal differences

These are normal characteristics of genuine linen and should not be considered manufacturing defects.

FABRIC WEIGHT – APPROXIMATELY 294 GSM

The pure linen embroidered face fabric is approximately 403 grams per linear metre at a fabric width of 54 inches.

At a width of 54 inches, this converts to approximately:

294 GSM

This is a substantial curtain fabric with considerably more body than lightweight decorative linen.

The approximately 294 GSM face fabric allows the curtains to create rich, defined folds while retaining the natural movement associated with linen.

Please note that the approximately 294 GSM figure refers to the FACE FABRIC itself.

Adding either the organic cotton light-filtering liner or the blackout liner will increase the total finished curtain weight, fullness and structure.

SINGLE PANEL OR PAIR / SET OF 2

These curtains are available as:

SINGLE PANEL

You will receive one individual curtain in the selected width and height.

PAIR / SET OF 2

You will receive two matching individual curtain panels.

IMPORTANT:

The width selected in the listing refers to the FLAT FINISHED WIDTH OF EACH INDIVIDUAL CURTAIN before gathering.

Examples:

One 50-inch-wide curtain:
50 inches total flat width.

Pair of 50-inch-wide curtains:
50 inches wide each.
100 inches combined flat width.

One 100-inch-wide curtain:
100 inches total flat width.

Pair of 100-inch-wide curtains:
100 inches wide each.
200 inches combined flat width.

Please remember that curtains occupy less horizontal space once they have been gathered into folds on a curtain rod or track.

AVAILABLE WIDTHS

Standard finished widths are:

• 50 inches / approximately 127 cm per curtain
• 100 inches / approximately 254 cm per curtain

The width selected is the flat finished width of EACH individual curtain panel before gathering.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT 100-INCH-WIDE CURTAINS

Every 100-inch-wide curtain panel will be made by joining two approximately 50-inch-wide sections of fabric.

There will therefore be one carefully sewn vertical joining seam near the centre of each 100-inch-wide curtain.

The joining seam is normally barely visible once the curtain has been:

• Installed
• Gathered into folds
• Properly dressed and arranged
• Viewed from a normal distance

Joining two fabric widths is necessary because the original embroidered linen is produced in a limited loom width.

If you purchase:

ONE 100-INCH-WIDE CURTAIN

That individual curtain will contain one joining seam.

PAIR OF 100-INCH-WIDE CURTAINS

Each individual curtain will contain its own joining seam.

We will align the embroidered geometric design across the joined sections as carefully as reasonably possible.

However, absolutely seamless continuation of every individual diamond or chevron cannot always be guaranteed because this depends on:

• Pattern repeat
• Exact finished curtain dimensions
• Point from which the fabric is cut
• Heading construction
• Placement of the embroidered motif

Once the curtain is installed and gathered into folds, the seam is generally very difficult to notice.

AVAILABLE HEIGHTS

Standard finished curtain heights are available from 36 inches through 180 inches at 12-inch intervals:

• 36 inches / approximately 91 cm
• 48 inches / approximately 122 cm
• 60 inches / approximately 152 cm
• 72 inches / approximately 183 cm
• 84 inches / approximately 213 cm
• 96 inches / approximately 244 cm
• 108 inches / approximately 274 cm
• 120 inches / approximately 305 cm
• 132 inches / approximately 335 cm
• 144 inches / approximately 366 cm
• 156 inches / approximately 396 cm
• 168 inches / approximately 427 cm
• 180 inches / approximately 457 cm

This extensive height range makes the curtains suitable for:

• Standard windows
• Living-room windows
• Bedroom windows
• Dining rooms
• Guest rooms
• Home offices
• French doors
• Large picture windows
• Sliding doors
• Floor-to-ceiling windows
• Tall windows
• Loft apartments
• High ceilings
• Double-height rooms
• Two-storey spaces
• Oversized window treatments
• Extra-long curtains

LINING OPTIONS

These pure linen embroidered curtains are available with three lining choices:

1. UNLINED
2. ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT-FILTERING LINER
3. 100% BLACKOUT OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 CERTIFIED POLYCOTTON LINER

Please enter your selected lining option in the order details email.

1. UNLINED CURTAINS

Choose the unlined option if you prefer the most natural appearance and movement of the embroidered pure linen face fabric.

When unlined, these curtains provide semi-sheer privacy.

Although the linen is thick and substantial, natural daylight can still pass through when the fabric is strongly backlit.

The precise amount of transparency depends on:

• Strength of sunlight
• Direction of sunlight
• Time of day
• Curtain fullness
• Interior lighting
• Distance between curtain and window
• Whether the curtain is being viewed from inside or outside

During daytime use, the unlined curtains soften the view through the window while allowing pleasant natural daylight into the room.

They provide a useful amount of privacy but should not be considered completely opaque.

At night, particularly when interior lights are switched on, silhouettes or shadows may be visible from outside.

Choose UNLINED when you prefer:

• Maximum natural linen character
• Maximum visibility of the embroidery
• Soft filtered daylight
• Semi-sheer privacy
• A lighter completed curtain
• Natural relaxed folds
• Decorative living-room panels
• Curtains layered with an existing Roman shade or blind

For complete visual opacity and increased privacy, choose one of the lined options.

2. ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT-FILTERING LINER

The organic cotton light-filtering liner is ideal where you want greater privacy and complete visual opacity while retaining soft natural daylight.

When the organic cotton liner is added, the completed curtain becomes opaque under normal viewing conditions.

The face fabric will no longer appear semi-sheer.

The organic cotton liner:

• Makes the completed curtain opaque
• Provides increased daytime privacy
• Provides increased nighttime privacy
• Softens incoming sunlight
• Diffuses natural daylight
• Adds body to the curtain
• Supports the substantial embroidered linen
• Helps create fuller folds
• Gives the completed curtain a richer and more structured drape

This lining works particularly well for:

• Living rooms
• Dining rooms
• Bedrooms
• Guest rooms
• Nurseries
• Home offices
• Street-facing windows
• Rooms requiring privacy without complete darkness

IMPORTANT:

The organic cotton lining is LIGHT FILTERING.

It is not blackout.

Natural daylight will still enter the room through the curtain, but it will be softened and diffused.

Choose the organic cotton liner if you want:

COMPLETE VISUAL OPACITY + PRIVACY + SOFT NATURAL DAYLIGHT

3. 100% BLACKOUT OEKO-TEX CERTIFIED LINER

Choose the blackout option where maximum light blocking through the curtain fabric is required.

The blackout liner is an OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, non-toxic polycotton fabric composed of:

• 50% Cotton
• 50% Polyester

This specialised liner completely blocks light from travelling through the body of the curtain.

The completed curtain itself therefore becomes fully opaque.

The blackout option is especially suitable for:

• Bedrooms
• Nurseries
• Children's rooms
• Guest bedrooms
• Media rooms
• Home cinemas
• Shift workers
• Street-facing bedrooms
• Rooms receiving strong direct sunlight
• Rooms where darkness is important for sleeping
• Spaces requiring maximum privacy

IMPORTANT BLACKOUT INFORMATION

The 100% blackout liner prevents light from passing THROUGH the completed curtain fabric.

It does not necessarily mean every room will become completely dark because light may still enter AROUND the curtain installation.

Possible areas include:

• Above the curtain
• Around the outer sides
• Beneath the curtain
• Through the centre gap between two panels

For the darkest possible result:

• Order generous curtain fullness
• Extend the curtain rod or track beyond both sides of the window
• Install the curtain above the window opening
• Allow two curtains to overlap slightly at the centre
• Select enough curtain length to fully cover the window
• Position the curtain reasonably close to the wall
• Ensure the complete window opening is covered

AVAILABLE HEADING STYLES

Four heading options are available:

• Hooks Top
• Back Tabs
• Rod Pocket
• Grommets

Your required heading style must be entered in the order details email.

HOOKS TOP

Hooks Top is compatible with BOTH:

• Curtain rods fitted with rings
• Curtain tracks

When installing on a rod:

The hooks attach to suitable curtain rings fitted around the rod.

When installing on a track:

The hooks attach to the runners or gliders fitted to the curtain track.

Hooks Top is particularly suitable for:

• Wall-mounted curtain tracks
• Ceiling-mounted tracks
• Decorative rods fitted with rings
• Frequently opened curtains
• Wide windows
• Tall curtains
• Extra-long panels
• Floor-to-ceiling window treatments

This is the most versatile heading option.

BACK TABS

Back tabs are fabric loops sewn onto the reverse of the curtain heading.

The curtain rod passes through these concealed loops.

When viewed from the front, most of the rod remains hidden.

Back-tab curtains create:

• Soft structured folds
• Minimal visible hardware
• A clean tailored appearance
• Contemporary styling
• A relaxed yet elegant drape

Back tabs require a curtain rod.

They cannot be installed directly onto a standard curtain track.

ROD POCKET

A fabric channel is sewn across the top of the curtain.

The curtain rod passes directly through this channel.

Rod-pocket curtains create:

• Soft gathered folds
• Minimal visible hardware
• A relaxed appearance
• A timeless curtain style

Rod pockets work especially well for:

• Living-room curtains
• Bedroom curtains
• Guest rooms
• Small windows
• Decorative curtain panels
• Short curtains
• Custom cafe curtains

Please ensure your curtain rod diameter is compatible with the rod-pocket opening.

GROMMETS

Grommets, also known as eyelets, are rings installed across the top of the curtain.

The curtain rod passes directly through these rings.

Grommets create:

• Broad wave-like folds
• A clean contemporary look
• Easy opening and closing
• Even gathering
• Visible decorative hardware

Grommet curtains require a curtain rod.

They cannot be attached directly to a standard curtain track.

CURTAIN FULLNESS

The width selected in this listing refers to the FLAT FINISHED WIDTH before gathering.

For attractive curtain folds, the combined curtain width should normally be wider than the usable width of your curtain rod or track.

As a general guide:

1.5 × FULLNESS

Creates a relaxed and more contemporary appearance.

2 × FULLNESS

Creates deeper, fuller and more luxurious folds.

EXAMPLE:

Curtain rod width:
50 inches

Pair of 50-inch-wide curtains:
100 inches combined flat width

This gives approximately 2 × fullness.

Another example:

Curtain rod width:
100 inches

Pair of 100-inch-wide curtains:
200 inches combined flat width

This also provides approximately 2 × fullness.

HOW FULLNESS AFFECTS THIS GEOMETRIC DESIGN

Because this fabric has a large-scale embroidered diamond and chevron pattern, fullness noticeably changes the final appearance.

WITH MORE FULLNESS:

• Curtains appear richer
• Folds become deeper
• Portions of the embroidered diamonds move naturally into the valleys between folds
• The geometric design appears softer and more layered

WITH LESS FULLNESS:

• Curtains hang flatter
• More complete geometric forms remain visible
• The ikat pattern looks stronger and more graphic

HOW TO MEASURE CURTAIN WIDTH

1. Measure the usable width of your curtain rod or track.
2. Do not include decorative finials.
3. Choose approximately 1.5 × or 2 × fullness.
4. Multiply the usable rod or track width by the chosen fullness.
5. Divide the combined curtain width by the number of panels required.

EXAMPLE:

Usable rod width:
80 inches

Desired fullness:
2 ×

80 × 2 = approximately 160 inches combined flat curtain width recommended.

A pair of 100-inch-wide panels provides 200 inches combined width and therefore creates generous fullness.

HOW TO MEASURE CURTAIN HEIGHT

Measure from the top of the installed curtain rod or track to where you want the curtains to end. For Hooks top only, subtract 1 in (2.54 cm) once from this measurement because the curtains hang slightly below the rod. Do not deduct or add an allowance for other heading styles.

HOOKS TOP:

Measure from the top of the installed curtain rod or track to where you want the curtains to end. For Hooks top only, subtract 1 in (2.54 cm) once from this measurement because the curtains hang slightly below the rod.

Possible finished lengths include:

• Window-sill length
• Below-sill length
• Apron length
• Floor length
• Just touching the floor
• Slightly puddling on the floor

For floor-length curtains, we recommend measuring in several places because curtain rods and floors are not always completely level.

CUSTOM CAFE CURTAINS

This same embroidered pure linen fabric can also be made into custom cafe curtains.

Cafe curtains are shorter curtains intended primarily to cover the lower portion of a window while leaving the upper section open for natural daylight.

The soft ivory, sage, olive and mustard-gold palette works beautifully for cafe curtains in neutral and earthy interiors.

Cafe curtains are suitable for:

• Kitchen windows
• Breakfast nooks
• Breakfast rooms
• Dining areas
• Bathrooms
• Powder rooms
• Pantry windows
• Utility rooms
• French doors
• Street-facing windows
• Small windows
• Lower-half window privacy

Cafe curtains can be made:

• Unlined
• Organic cotton light-filtering lined
• 100% blackout lined

Available heading options include:

• Rod Pocket
• Back Tabs
• Hooks Top
• Grommets where suitable for the requested measurements

TO ORDER CAFE CURTAINS:

Select the next available listed size larger than your exact required finished dimensions.

Then enter the precise measurements in the order details email.

EXAMPLE:

Cafe Curtain Finished Size:
44 inches wide × 29 inches high per curtain

Quantity:
Pair

Heading:
Rod Pocket

Lining:
Unlined

Please clearly write “CAFE CURTAINS” in the order details email.

PATTERN PLACEMENT

The exact positioning of the embroidered geometric pattern may vary according to:

• Curtain width
• Curtain height
• Embroidery repeat
• Custom finished measurements
• Heading style
• Point from which the fabric is cut
• Whether a joining seam is required

When producing a pair, we will position the pattern as consistently as reasonably possible.

However, exact mirror-image placement of every embroidered diamond cannot always be guaranteed.

When the curtains are gathered, some geometric forms will remain prominently visible across the fronts of the folds while others will move naturally into the valleys between folds.

This creates additional visual movement and depth after installation.

MODERN ORGANIC INTERIORS

The combination of muted sage, olive, ivory and mustard makes this fabric particularly well suited to modern organic rooms.

The large embroidered geometry gives the curtains enough definition to serve as a statement window treatment, while the softly washed colours prevent them from feeling harsh.

Pair with:

• Natural oak
• Cream boucle
• Stone
• Travertine
• Handmade ceramics
• Woven rugs
• Brass accents
• Warm-white walls

for a calm layered interior.

BOHO & GLOBAL-INSPIRED INTERIORS

The feathered ikat-style embroidery also makes the curtains highly suitable for bohemian and global-inspired decor.

Unlike highly saturated traditional ikat fabrics, this colourway uses subdued earthy tones, making it easier to integrate into sophisticated adult spaces.

It can coordinate especially well with:

• Rattan
• Cane
• Walnut
• Linen upholstery
• Vintage wood
• Ochre cushions
• Sage accessories
• Natural woven textiles

LIVING ROOM CURTAINS

These curtains work particularly well in living rooms where you want more pattern than plain linen while retaining an understated earthy palette.

Choose:

UNLINED

for the most natural linen appearance and softly filtered daylight.

ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT FILTERING

for complete opacity and greater privacy while retaining softly diffused light.

100% BLACKOUT

for maximum light blocking through the curtain fabric and a heavier, more substantial finished drape.

BEDROOM CURTAINS

For bedrooms, the 100% blackout-lined option provides maximum light blocking through the curtain itself.

The combination of:

• Heavy pure linen
• Raised geometric embroidery
• Blackout lining

creates a particularly substantial completed curtain.

The muted ivory, sage, olive and mustard palette works beautifully in calm bedrooms with:

• Cream bedding
• Natural wood furniture
• Olive accents
• Warm-white walls
• Taupe upholstery
• Brass lighting
• Woven rugs

DINING ROOM CURTAINS

The oversized geometric embroidery gives the fabric enough structure for sophisticated dining spaces while remaining warm and natural.

It coordinates particularly well with:

• Oak dining tables
• Walnut furniture
• Cream walls
• Linen dining chairs
• Natural stone floors
• Brass lighting
• Olive or mustard accessories

NURSERY & CHILDREN'S ROOM CURTAINS

The muted natural palette can also work in a sophisticated nursery or child's room.

The geometric pattern is not specifically juvenile, allowing the curtains to continue working as the room changes over time.

Choose the blackout lining where reduced light is required for daytime sleep.
