Ivory Pure Linen Embroidered Curtains, Champagne Gold Ikat Diamond Drapes, Custom Extra Long Blackout Panels
IVORY PURE LINEN EMBROIDERED CURTAINS WITH CHAMPAGNE GOLD IKAT DIAMOND GEOMETRIC EMBROIDERY
Bring soft neutral luxury, substantial natural linen texture and striking geometric embroidery to your windows with these custom-made thick and heavy pure linen curtains.
The fabric features a warm ivory to pearl off-white linen ground with subtle vertical tonal movement in pale greige, champagne beige, soft taupe and natural flax. Across this softly textured background is an oversized embroidered geometric design in champagne gold, antique beige, pale wheat gold and softly muted golden-taupe tones.
The embroidery forms large ikat-inspired diamonds, broken chevrons, angular zigzags and abstract geometric shapes with intentionally feathered and irregular edges.
Unlike a perfectly sharp geometric print, the edges of the embroidered motifs have a softly distressed, brushstroke-like appearance. This gives the fabric the visual character of traditional ikat textiles while retaining the raised texture and dimensional appearance of genuine embroidery.
From a normal viewing distance, the curtains read primarily as:
IVORY + CHAMPAGNE GOLD + WARM BEIGE
At closer range, subtle shades of:
GREIGE + TAUPE + NATURAL FLAX + PALE ANTIQUE GOLD
become visible throughout the background and embroidery.
The result is a sophisticated neutral curtain that adds pattern without introducing strong colour.
These made-to-order curtains can be purchased as:
• One Single Curtain Panel
• Pair / Set of 2 Matching Curtain Panels
Choose from:
• Unlined
• Organic Cotton Light-Filtering Liner
• 100% Blackout OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Certified Polycotton Liner
COLOUR DESCRIPTION
MAIN LINEN BACKGROUND
The main background is a warm ivory to pearl off-white.
It is not a bright optical or brilliant white.
The visible natural linen weave has subtle warm undertones and fine tonal variation that may appear as:
• Warm ivory
• Pearl white
• Natural off-white
• Pale cream
• Light flax
Running through the background are very subtle vertical areas that can appear:
• Pale greige
• Champagne beige
• Soft taupe
• Light mushroom
• Natural oatmeal
These vertical variations are understated and form part of the overall textile appearance.
They prevent the background from looking completely flat and give the curtains a softly layered, designer-fabric character.
EMBROIDERY COLOUR
The large geometric embroidery is predominantly:
• Champagne gold
• Antique beige
• Pale wheat gold
• Golden flax
• Light warm taupe
The embroidery is muted and elegant rather than bright yellow-gold.
Depending on natural and artificial lighting, it may appear more:
• Champagne beige
• Pale gold
• Antique gold
• Warm sand
• Wheat beige
• Golden taupe
The pale metallic-looking warmth comes from the colour and texture of the embroidery rather than from a highly reflective metallic foil.
The finished effect is subtle enough for neutral rooms while still giving the curtains a luxurious decorative presence.
OVERALL COLOUR PALETTE
The overall visual impression is:
Warm Ivory + Champagne Gold + Beige
with subtle:
Greige + Taupe + Natural Flax
This makes the fabric particularly versatile for interiors using:
• Ivory
• Cream
• Warm white
• Beige
• Greige
• Taupe
• Mushroom
• Champagne
• Gold
• Natural wood tones
The curtain can therefore work in both cool-neutral and warm-neutral spaces.
Please remember that colour appearance can change according to:
• Natural daylight
• Warm or cool artificial lighting
• Surrounding wall colours
• Furniture and flooring
• Screen brightness
• Screen colour calibration
• Photography conditions
• The direction from which the embroidery is viewed
IKAT-INSPIRED GEOMETRIC PATTERN
The most distinctive feature of this fabric is its oversized embroidered geometric design.
The pattern combines:
• Large diamond forms
• Broken diamonds
• Angular chevrons
• Zigzag sections
• V-shaped forms
• Abstract geometric peaks
• Feathered ikat-style edges
Rather than having perfectly crisp and uniform outlines, the shapes have intentionally uneven, painterly edges.
The embroidery appears to taper, feather and break at the edges of the motifs.
This gives the design an ikat-inspired appearance.
The pattern has visual influences from:
• Ikat textiles
• Contemporary geometric decor
• Modern bohemian interiors
• Abstract textile design
• Transitional decor
• Organic modern homes
• Quiet luxury interiors
• Modern Mediterranean styling
• Subtle Art Deco geometry
The combination of large geometry and neutral colouring creates a statement fabric that does not overwhelm the room.
REAL EMBROIDERED TEXTURE
The champagne-gold geometric pattern is embroidered directly onto the pure linen face fabric.
It is not simply a flat printed diamond design.
When viewed closely, the raised embroidery threads and individual stitched texture become visible.
This creates:
• Tactile raised detail
• Visible textile depth
• Additional body
• Subtle changes in appearance as light moves across the fabric
• A more luxurious surface than a basic printed curtain
• Greater definition within the geometric pattern
The direction and density of the embroidery can cause some sections to appear slightly lighter or darker when viewed from different angles.
This is a natural characteristic of embroidered fabric.
THICK & HEAVY PURE LINEN
These curtains are made from substantial pure linen face fabric.
The linen provides:
• Natural woven texture
• Organic fibre character
• Substantial body
• Attractive curtain folds
• A relaxed yet luxurious appearance
• Beautiful interaction with natural daylight
Pure linen naturally contains small variations such as:
• Linen slubs
• Fine thick-and-thin yarn differences
• Occasional slightly thicker fibres
• Small weave irregularities
• Natural tonal variations
These characteristics are expected in genuine linen and should not be considered manufacturing defects.
FABRIC WEIGHT – APPROXIMATELY 294 GSM
The pure linen embroidered face fabric weighs 403 grams per linear metre at a fabric width of 54 inches.
A 54-inch fabric width is approximately 1.3716 metres.
This converts to approximately:
294 GSM
The approximately 294 GSM construction makes this a substantial curtain fabric with significantly more body than lightweight sheer linen.
It allows the curtains to form rich natural folds while retaining the characteristic movement of linen.
Please note that 294 GSM refers to the FACE FABRIC itself.
Adding either the organic cotton lining or the blackout lining will increase the overall weight, body and structure of the completed curtain.
SINGLE CURTAIN PANEL OR PAIR / SET OF 2
These curtains can be ordered as:
SINGLE PANEL
You will receive one individual curtain in the width and height selected.
PAIR / SET OF 2
You will receive two matching individual curtain panels.
IMPORTANT:
The width selected in the listing refers to the FLAT FINISHED WIDTH OF EACH INDIVIDUAL CURTAIN PANEL before gathering.
Examples:
One 50-inch-wide curtain:
50 inches total flat width.
Pair of 50-inch-wide curtains:
50 inches wide each.
100 inches combined flat width.
One 100-inch-wide curtain:
100 inches total flat width.
Pair of 100-inch-wide curtains:
100 inches wide each.
200 inches combined flat width.
Please remember that the horizontal space occupied by a curtain becomes narrower after it is gathered into folds on a curtain rod or track.
AVAILABLE WIDTHS
Standard finished width options:
• 50 inches / approximately 127 cm per curtain
• 100 inches / approximately 254 cm per curtain
The width selected is the flat finished width of EACH individual curtain panel.
IMPORTANT – 100-INCH-WIDE CURTAINS
Every 100-inch-wide curtain panel will be made by joining two approximately 50-inch-wide fabric sections.
There will therefore be one carefully sewn vertical joining seam near the middle of every 100-inch-wide curtain.
The joining seam is usually barely noticeable after the curtain has been:
• Installed
• Gathered into folds
• Properly dressed and arranged
• Viewed from a normal distance
Joining two fabric widths is necessary because the original embroidered linen is manufactured in a limited fabric width.
If you order:
ONE 100-INCH-WIDE CURTAIN
That individual curtain will contain one joining seam.
PAIR OF 100-INCH-WIDE CURTAINS
Each of the two individual curtains will contain its own joining seam.
We will align the large embroidered geometric design across the joined fabric sections as carefully as reasonably possible.
However, completely seamless continuation of every individual embroidered diamond or chevron cannot always be guaranteed because this depends on:
• Pattern repeat
• Exact curtain dimensions
• Position from which the fabric is cut
• Heading construction
• Placement of the embroidered motif
After installation and gathering, the joining seam generally disappears visually amongst the curtain folds.
AVAILABLE HEIGHTS
Standard finished curtain heights are available from 36 inches through 180 inches in 12-inch increments:
• 36 inches / approximately 91 cm
• 48 inches / approximately 122 cm
• 60 inches / approximately 152 cm
• 72 inches / approximately 183 cm
• 84 inches / approximately 213 cm
• 96 inches / approximately 244 cm
• 108 inches / approximately 274 cm
• 120 inches / approximately 305 cm
• 132 inches / approximately 335 cm
• 144 inches / approximately 366 cm
• 156 inches / approximately 396 cm
• 168 inches / approximately 427 cm
• 180 inches / approximately 457 cm
This extensive size range makes these curtains suitable for:
• Standard windows
• Living-room windows
• Bedroom windows
• Dining rooms
• Guest rooms
• French doors
• Sliding doors
• Large picture windows
• Floor-to-ceiling windows
• Tall windows
• Loft apartments
• High ceilings

LINING OPTIONS
These embroidered pure linen curtains are available with three lining choices:
1. UNLINED
2. ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT-FILTERING LINER
3. 100% BLACKOUT OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 CERTIFIED POLYCOTTON LINER
Your chosen lining option must be entered in the order details email.
1. UNLINED CURTAINS
The unlined option preserves the most natural appearance, movement and texture of the pure linen embroidered face fabric.
When unlined, these curtains provide semi-sheer privacy.
Although the linen is thick and substantial, some natural daylight can still pass through the fabric when it is strongly backlit.
The exact degree of transparency depends on:
• Strength of sunlight
• Direction of sunlight
• Time of day
• Curtain fullness
• Interior lighting
• Distance between the curtain and window
• Whether the curtains are being viewed from inside or outside
During daytime use, the unlined curtains soften the view through the window while retaining beautiful natural daylight.
They provide a degree of privacy but should not be considered fully opaque.
At night, particularly when room lights are switched on, silhouettes or shadows may be visible from outside.
Choose UNLINED when you prefer:
• The most natural pure linen appearance
• Maximum visibility of the embroidered texture
• Soft filtered daylight
• Semi-sheer privacy
• A lighter completed curtain
• Relaxed natural folds
• Decorative living-room panels
• Curtains layered with an existing blind or Roman shade
For complete visual opacity and greater privacy, choose one of the lined options.
2. ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT-FILTERING LINER
The organic cotton light-filtering liner is ideal when you want additional privacy and complete visual opacity while retaining softly diffused natural daylight.
When the organic cotton lining is added, the finished curtain becomes opaque under normal viewing conditions.
The face fabric will no longer appear semi-sheer.
The organic cotton liner:
• Makes the completed curtain opaque
• Provides greater daytime privacy
• Provides greater nighttime privacy
• Softens incoming daylight
• Diffuses direct sunlight
• Adds body
• Supports the substantial embroidered linen
• Helps create fuller folds
• Gives the curtains a richer and more structured drape
This option is particularly suitable for:
• Living rooms
• Dining rooms
• Bedrooms
• Guest rooms
• Nurseries
• Home offices
• Street-facing rooms
• Rooms where privacy is important
Please note:
The organic cotton liner is LIGHT FILTERING.
It is not blackout.
Natural daylight will still enter the room through the completed curtain, but the light will be softened and diffused.
Choose this lining if you want:
COMPLETE VISUAL OPACITY + PRIVACY + SOFT NATURAL DAYLIGHT
3. 100% BLACKOUT OEKO-TEX CERTIFIED LINER
Choose the blackout liner where maximum light blocking through the curtain fabric is required.
The blackout liner is a non-toxic OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified polycotton fabric composed of:
• 50% Cotton
• 50% Polyester
This specialised lining completely blocks light from passing directly through the body of the curtain.
The finished curtain fabric itself therefore becomes fully opaque.
The blackout option is particularly suitable for:
• Bedrooms
• Nurseries
• Children’s rooms
• Guest bedrooms
• Media rooms
• Home cinemas
• Shift workers
• Street-facing bedrooms
• Rooms receiving strong sunlight
• Spaces where darkness is important for sleeping
• Rooms requiring maximum privacy
IMPORTANT BLACKOUT INFORMATION
The 100% blackout liner prevents light from passing THROUGH the curtain fabric itself.
A completely blackout-lined curtain does not necessarily mean that every room will become completely dark because light can still enter AROUND the curtain installation.
Possible areas include:
• Above the curtain
• Around the outer sides
• Beneath the curtain
• Through the centre opening between two panels
For the darkest possible installation:
• Order generous curtain fullness
• Extend the curtain rod or track beyond both sides of the window
• Install the curtains above the top of the window
• Allow two curtains to overlap slightly in the centre
• Select sufficient finished curtain length
• Position the curtains reasonably close to the wall
• Ensure the complete window opening is covered
AVAILABLE HEADING STYLES
Four heading styles are available:
• Hooks Top
• Back Tabs
• Rod Pocket
• Grommets
Please enter the required heading style in the order details email.
HOOKS TOP
Hooks Top is compatible with BOTH:
• Curtain rods
• Curtain tracks
For installation on a curtain rod:
The hooks attach to suitable curtain rings fitted around the rod.
For installation on a curtain track:
The hooks attach to the runners or gliders fitted to the track.
Hooks Top is particularly suitable for:
• Wall-mounted tracks
• Ceiling-mounted tracks
• Decorative curtain rods with rings
• Frequently opened curtains
• Wide windows
• Tall curtains
• Floor-to-ceiling curtains
• Extra-long curtain panels
This is the most versatile heading option.
BACK TABS
Back tabs are fabric loops sewn onto the reverse side of the curtain heading.
The curtain rod passes through the concealed tabs.
Most of the curtain rod therefore remains hidden when viewed from the front.
Back-tab curtains create:
• Clean structured folds
• Minimal visible hardware
• A tailored appearance
• Soft contemporary styling
• An elegant casual drape
Back Tabs require a curtain rod.
They are not designed for direct installation onto a standard curtain track.
ROD POCKET
A fabric channel is sewn across the top of the curtain.
The curtain rod slides directly through this channel.
Rod-pocket curtains create:
• Soft gathered folds
• A relaxed appearance
• Minimal visible hardware
• A classic curtain style
Rod pockets work particularly well for:
• Living-room curtains
• Bedroom curtains
• Decorative panels
• Smaller windows
• Short curtains
• Custom cafe curtains
Please ensure that your curtain rod diameter is compatible with the rod-pocket opening.
GROMMETS
Grommets, also known as eyelets, are rings fitted across the top of the curtain.
The curtain rod passes directly through these rings.
Grommet curtains create:
• Broad wave-like folds
• A clean contemporary appearance
• Easy opening and closing
• Even gathering
• Visible decorative hardware
Grommet curtains require a curtain rod.
They cannot be attached directly to a standard curtain track.
CURTAIN FULLNESS
The width selected in this listing is the FLAT FINISHED WIDTH before gathering.
To create attractive curtain folds, the combined flat curtain width should normally be greater than the usable width of your curtain rod or track.
As a general guide:
1.5 × FULLNESS
Creates a more relaxed contemporary appearance.
2 × FULLNESS
Creates deeper, fuller and more luxurious folds.
EXAMPLE:
Curtain rod width:
50 inches
Pair of 50-inch-wide curtains:
100 inches combined flat width.
This provides approximately 2 × fullness.
Another example:
Curtain rod width:
100 inches
Pair of 100-inch-wide curtains:
200 inches combined flat width.
This also provides approximately 2 × fullness.
HOW FULLNESS AFFECTS THIS GEOMETRIC DESIGN
Because this fabric has a large-scale embroidered pattern, curtain fullness changes the way the design appears after installation.
WITH GREATER FULLNESS:
• Curtains appear richer and more luxurious
• Folds become deeper
• Portions of the embroidered diamonds move into the valleys between folds
• The pattern appears softer and more layered
WITH LOWER FULLNESS:
• Curtains hang flatter
• More complete diamonds and chevrons remain visible
• The geometric pattern appears stronger and more graphic
HOW TO MEASURE CURTAIN WIDTH
1. Measure the usable width of your curtain rod or track.
2. Do not include decorative finials.
3. Decide whether you prefer approximately 1.5 × or 2 × fullness.
4. Multiply the usable rod or track width by the desired fullness.
5. Divide the resulting combined width by the number of individual curtain panels required.
EXAMPLE:
Usable curtain rod width:
80 inches
Desired fullness:
2 ×
80 × 2 = 160 inches recommended combined curtain width.
A pair of 100-inch-wide panels provides 200 inches of combined flat width and therefore creates generous fullness.
HOW TO MEASURE CURTAIN HEIGHT
Measure from the top of the installed curtain rod or track to where you want the curtains to end. For Hooks top only, subtract 1 in (2.54 cm) once from this measurement because the curtains hang slightly below the rod. Do not deduct or add an allowance for other heading styles.
HOOKS TOP:

Possible finished curtain lengths include:
• Window-sill length
• Below-sill length
• Apron length
• Floor length
• Just touching the floor
• Slightly puddling on the floor
For floor-length curtains, we recommend measuring at several positions because curtain rods and floors are not always completely level.
CUSTOM CAFE CURTAINS
We can also make this same champagne-gold embroidered pure linen fabric into custom cafe curtains.
Cafe curtains are short curtains designed primarily to cover the lower portion of a window while leaving the upper section open for natural daylight.
The ivory, champagne and beige palette is particularly well suited to cafe curtains because it remains bright, neutral and elegant in smaller spaces.
Cafe curtains are suitable for:
• Kitchen windows
• Breakfast nooks
• Breakfast rooms
• Dining areas
• Bathrooms
• Powder rooms
• Pantry windows
• Utility rooms
• French doors
• Street-facing windows
• Small windows
• Lower-half window privacy
Cafe curtains can be made:
• Unlined
• Organic cotton light-filtering lined
• 100% blackout lined
Available headings include:
• Rod Pocket
• Back Tabs
• Hooks Top
• Grommets where suitable for the required size
TO ORDER CAFE CURTAINS:
Select the next available listed size larger than the exact measurements you require.
Then enter your precise finished dimensions in the order details email.

Please clearly write “CAFE CURTAINS” in your Personalisation instructions.
PATTERN PLACEMENT
The exact placement of the oversized embroidered geometric pattern may vary according to:
• Curtain width
• Curtain height
• Embroidery repeat
• Heading style
• Custom finished measurements
• Position from which the fabric is cut
• Whether a joining seam is required
When making a pair, we will position the design as consistently as reasonably possible.
However, exact mirror-image placement of every embroidered diamond cannot always be guaranteed.
When the curtains are gathered, some diamond and chevron motifs will remain prominently visible on the front of the folds while other areas naturally move into the valleys between folds.
This gives the geometric embroidery additional movement and dimension after installation.

UNLINED
for the most natural pure linen appearance and softly filtered daylight.
ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT FILTERING
for complete visual opacity, increased privacy and softly diffused natural light.
100% BLACKOUT
for maximum light blocking through the curtain fabric and a heavier, more structured finished drape.
BEDROOM CURTAINS
For bedrooms, the blackout-lined version provides the strongest light control.
The combination of:

• Raised geometric embroidery
• Blackout lining
creates a substantial and luxurious completed curtain.
The ivory and champagne-gold colouring works particularly well with:
• Cream bedding
• Beige bedding
• Warm-white walls
• Natural wood furniture
• Taupe upholstery
• Brass lighting
• Neutral rugs
DINING ROOM CURTAINS
The large geometric embroidery adds architectural interest to dining rooms without introducing a strong multicolour pattern.

• Brass lighting
• Champagne-metal accessories
BEDROOM, NURSERY & GUEST ROOM USE
Because the colour palette is neutral, these curtains can work across many room types.
For nurseries or children's rooms where darkness is required for daytime sleeping, choose the 100% blackout liner.
The geometric pattern is not specifically child-themed, so the curtains can remain suitable as the room changes over time.
