Ivory Pure Linen Embroidered Curtains, Burnt Orange Blue Floral Vine Drapes, Custom Extra Long Blackout Panels
IVORY PURE LINEN EMBROIDERED CURTAINS WITH BURNT ORANGE, DUSTY BLUE & MULTICOLOUR FLORAL VINE EMBROIDERY
Bring the beauty of an embroidered garden indoors with these custom-made thick and heavy pure linen curtains.
The soft warm ivory linen ground is decorated with an intricate flowing botanical embroidery composed of burnt-orange flowers, rust and coral blossoms, dusty turquoise-blue and teal leaves, soft lavender-grey flowers, muted sage and olive foliage and elegant grey embroidered stems.
Rather than being arranged as rigid bouquets, the flowers and leaves travel organically across the fabric on delicate curving vines. Small buds, open blossoms, leafy sprigs and larger statement flowers appear throughout the design, creating the feeling of a hand-drawn wildflower garden.
The overall colour combination is fresh, sophisticated and distinctive:
Warm Ivory + Burnt Orange + Dusty Blue + Teal
with supporting accents of:
Rust + Coral + Dove Grey + Lavender Grey + Muted Sage/Olive.
The warm orange embroidery provides beautiful contrast against the pale linen, while the dusty blues, soft greens and grey stems balance the warmer tones and prevent the fabric from appearing excessively bright.
These curtains work beautifully in spaces where you want more colour and character than plain linen while retaining a refined, natural appearance.
They can be purchased as:
• One Single Curtain Panel
• Pair / Set of 2 Matching Curtain Panels
Choose from:
• Unlined
• Organic Cotton Light-Filtering Liner
• 100% Blackout OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Certified Polycotton Liner
COLOUR DESCRIPTION
LINEN BACKGROUND
The underlying pure linen is a soft warm ivory to natural off-white.
It is not a brilliant optical white.
Its subtle warm undertones give the fabric a softer appearance and complement the multicoloured embroidery.
Depending on your room lighting, the linen may appear:
• Ivory
• Warm off-white
• Natural white
• Soft cream
• Pale flax
The visible woven texture of the linen also creates gentle tonal variation across the background.
BURNT ORANGE & RUST EMBROIDERY
The strongest warm colour within the design is a vivid but sophisticated burnt orange.
Different flowers contain variations of:
• Burnt orange
• Rust orange
• Coral orange
• Terracotta-orange
• Warm paprika
• Persimmon orange
Some blossoms are almost completely orange, while others combine orange centres or petals with cooler grey or blue embroidery.
This creates much more visual depth than a simple two-colour floral pattern.
DUSTY BLUE & TEAL EMBROIDERY
Cool blue tones appear throughout the embroidered flowers, leaves and buds.
These range between:
• Dusty turquoise
• Muted teal blue
• Mineral blue
• Soft petrol blue
• Blue grey
• Pale aqua-blue
The blues are muted rather than highly saturated, allowing them to sit comfortably beside the warmer burnt-orange flowers.
These cool colours are particularly visible within the leaves and smaller botanical details.
GREY & LAVENDER-GREY EMBROIDERY
A soft grey family provides an important neutral component within the pattern.
The slender winding stems are primarily embroidered in a muted grey, while a number of flowers and leaves use:
• Dove grey
• Silver grey
• Lavender grey
• Soft slate grey
Some of the larger flowers combine lavender-grey petals with bright burnt-orange centres, producing a particularly attractive contrast.
MUTED GREEN ACCENTS
Small amounts of subdued botanical green appear within some of the leaves and sprigs.
These accents range from:
• Muted sage
• Soft olive
• Mossy green
• Grey-green
Green is a supporting colour rather than the dominant colour of the fabric.
The overall curtain should therefore be viewed primarily as an ivory, orange and blue multicolour floral curtain.
FLORAL & BOTANICAL DESIGN
The embroidery forms a graceful all-over botanical vine rather than a formal repeating floral medallion.
The design contains:
• Delicate winding stems
• Wildflower-style blossoms
• Small daisylike flowers
• Larger five-petal flowers
• Fan-shaped blooms
• Flower buds
• Curling leaves
• Fine leafy sprigs
• Small seedpod-like forms
• Scattered botanical details
The stems curve naturally across the linen and connect different flowers and leaves together.
This creates an airy composition with plenty of visible ivory linen between the motifs.
The result is decorative without becoming visually overcrowded.
The pattern has elements that work beautifully with:
• Wildflower interiors
• Botanical decor
• Cottage decor
• French-country interiors
• Bohemian homes
• Modern farmhouse styling
• Transitional interiors
• Contemporary eclectic decor
• Colourful organic interiors
• English-country-inspired rooms
The orange and blue combination also gives the fabric enough personality to work in more contemporary interiors where traditional pastel floral curtains might feel too delicate.
REAL EMBROIDERED TEXTURE
The flowers, leaves and stems are embroidered directly onto the pure linen face fabric.
They are not simply printed onto the surface.
When viewed closely, individual threads and differences in stitch direction can be seen.
This creates:
• Raised tactile detail
• Genuine textile dimension
• Visible thread texture
• Additional fabric body
• Changes in appearance as light strikes the stitches
• A richer finish than flat printed florals
Some embroidered areas appear slightly lighter or darker depending on the direction from which they are viewed.
This is a natural feature of embroidery because different stitch directions reflect light differently.
THICK & HEAVY PURE LINEN
These curtains are made from substantial pure linen face fabric.
The natural linen provides:
• Visible woven texture
• Organic character
• Excellent drape
• Natural fibre variation
• A luxurious but relaxed appearance
Because linen is made from natural fibres, occasional characteristics such as slubs, slightly thicker yarns, fine irregularities and small differences within the weave are normal.
These are part of the character of genuine linen and should not be considered manufacturing defects.
FABRIC WEIGHT — APPROXIMATELY 294 GSM
The embroidered pure linen face fabric weighs approximately 403 grams per linear metre at a fabric width of 54 inches.
A 54-inch fabric width equals approximately 1.3716 metres.
The resulting fabric weight is approximately:
294 GSM
This makes it a substantial curtain fabric with considerably more body than lightweight linen.
The approximately 294 GSM face fabric helps the curtains form attractive folds while retaining the natural movement associated with linen.
Adding the organic cotton liner or blackout liner will make the finished curtain even heavier, fuller and more structured.
SINGLE PANEL OR PAIR / SET OF 2
These curtains are available as:
SINGLE PANEL
You will receive one curtain panel in your selected width and height.
PAIR / SET OF 2
You will receive two individual matching curtain panels.
IMPORTANT:
The selected width refers to the FLAT FINISHED WIDTH OF EACH INDIVIDUAL CURTAIN before gathering.
For example:
One 50-inch-wide curtain:
50 inches total flat width.
Pair of 50-inch-wide curtains:
50 inches each.
100 inches combined flat width.
One 100-inch-wide curtain:
100 inches total flat width.
Pair of 100-inch-wide curtains:
100 inches each.
200 inches combined flat width.
Please remember that curtains occupy less horizontal space after they have been gathered into folds.
AVAILABLE WIDTHS
Standard finished width options:
• 50 inches / approximately 127 cm per curtain
• 100 inches / approximately 254 cm per curtain
The width selected is the flat finished width of EACH individual curtain panel.
IMPORTANT — 100-INCH-WIDE CURTAINS
Every 100-inch-wide curtain will be made by joining two approximately 50-inch-wide sections of fabric.
As a result, there will be one carefully sewn vertical joining seam near the centre of every 100-inch-wide curtain panel.
This seam is generally barely visible after the curtain has been:
• Installed
• Gathered into folds
• Properly dressed
• Viewed from a normal distance
Joining two widths is necessary because the original embroidered linen fabric is produced in a limited loom width.
If you purchase:
ONE 100-INCH-WIDE CURTAIN
That curtain will contain one joining seam.
PAIR OF 100-INCH-WIDE CURTAINS
Each individual curtain will contain its own joining seam.
We will align the floral embroidery across the joined widths as carefully as reasonably possible.
However, exact continuation of every flower, stem or leaf cannot always be guaranteed because this depends on:
• Embroidery repeat
• Finished curtain dimensions
• Fabric cutting position
• Heading style
• Placement of individual motifs
Once the curtains are installed and gathered, the centre seam normally becomes very difficult to notice among the folds.
AVAILABLE HEIGHTS
Standard finished heights are available from 36 inches through 180 inches at 12-inch intervals:
• 36 inches / approximately 91 cm
• 48 inches / approximately 122 cm
• 60 inches / approximately 152 cm
• 72 inches / approximately 183 cm
• 84 inches / approximately 213 cm
• 96 inches / approximately 244 cm
• 108 inches / approximately 274 cm
• 120 inches / approximately 305 cm
• 132 inches / approximately 335 cm
• 144 inches / approximately 366 cm
• 156 inches / approximately 396 cm
• 168 inches / approximately 427 cm
• 180 inches / approximately 457 cm
This extensive range makes the curtains suitable for:
• Standard windows
• Living-room windows
• Bedroom windows
• Dining rooms
• Guest rooms
• Nurseries
• French doors
• Large picture windows
• Sliding doors
• Floor-to-ceiling windows
• Tall windows

LINING OPTIONS
Three lining options are available:
1. UNLINED
2. ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT-FILTERING LINER
3. 100% BLACKOUT OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 CERTIFIED POLYCOTTON LINER
Your lining choice must be entered in the order details email.
1. UNLINED
Choose the unlined option if you prefer the most natural appearance and movement of the pure linen embroidered fabric.
When unlined, these curtains provide semi-sheer privacy.
Although the face fabric is thick and heavy, natural light can still pass through linen when it is strongly backlit.
The exact transparency depends on:
• Strength of sunlight
• Direction of daylight
• Time of day
• Curtain fullness
• Interior lighting
• Distance between curtain and window
During the daytime, unlined curtains soften the view through the window while still allowing pleasant daylight into the room.
They provide privacy, but they are not completely opaque.
At night, particularly when the interior lights are switched on, shadows or silhouettes may be visible from outside.
Choose UNLINED if you want:
• The most natural linen appearance
• Maximum visibility of the embroidery
• Soft filtered natural light
• Semi-sheer privacy
• A lighter completed curtain
• Natural relaxed folds
• Decorative window panels
• Curtains layered with an existing Roman shade or blind
For complete visual opacity, choose the organic cotton or blackout lining.
2. ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT-FILTERING LINER
Choose the organic cotton light-filtering liner when you want greater privacy and an opaque finished curtain without making the room completely dark.
Adding the organic cotton liner makes the completed curtain completely opaque under normal viewing conditions.
The main linen fabric will no longer appear semi-sheer.
The organic cotton liner:
• Provides complete visual opacity
• Increases daytime privacy
• Increases nighttime privacy
• Softens incoming sunlight
• Diffuses natural daylight
• Adds body to the curtain
• Supports the substantial embroidered linen
• Gives folds more structure
• Creates a fuller and more luxurious finished drape
This option is particularly suitable for:
• Living rooms
• Dining rooms
• Bedrooms
• Guest rooms
• Nurseries
• Home offices
• Street-facing windows
• Rooms requiring privacy
Please note:
The organic cotton liner is LIGHT FILTERING.
It is not blackout.
Natural daylight will continue to enter the room, but it will be softened and diffused.
Choose this lining when you want:
COMPLETE OPACITY + PRIVACY + SOFT NATURAL DAYLIGHT
3. 100% BLACKOUT OEKO-TEX CERTIFIED LINER
Choose the blackout option where maximum light blocking is required.
The blackout liner is an OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified non-toxic polycotton fabric made from:
• 50% Cotton
• 50% Polyester
The specialised lining prevents light from passing through the body of the completed curtain.
The curtain fabric itself therefore becomes fully opaque.
The blackout option is particularly suitable for:
• Bedrooms
• Children’s rooms
• Nurseries
• Guest bedrooms
• Media rooms
• Home cinemas
• Shift workers
• Street-facing windows
• Rooms receiving strong sunlight
• Rooms where darkness is important for sleep
• Spaces requiring maximum privacy
Please remember:
100% blackout lining prevents light from passing THROUGH the curtain.
A small amount of light can still enter AROUND the curtain depending on its installation.
Possible light gaps include:
• Above the curtain
• Around the outside edges
• Beneath the curtain
• Between two curtain panels in the centre
For the darkest possible installation:
• Order sufficient fullness
• Extend the rod or track beyond both sides of the window
• Install the curtains above the window opening
• Allow the two panels to overlap slightly at the centre
• Make sure the curtains fully cover the window vertically
• Position the curtain reasonably close to the wall
AVAILABLE HEADING STYLES
Four heading styles are available:
• Hooks Top
• Back Tabs
• Rod Pocket
• Grommets
Please enter the required heading style in the order details email.
HOOKS TOP
Hooks Top is compatible with BOTH curtain rods and curtain tracks.
For use with a curtain rod:
The hooks attach to suitable curtain rings fitted around the rod.
For use with a curtain track:
The hooks attach to the runners or gliders fitted to the track.
Hooks Top works well with:
• Wall-mounted curtain tracks
• Ceiling-mounted tracks
• Decorative curtain rods with rings
• Frequently opened curtains
• Wide windows
• Tall windows
• Extra-long curtains
• Floor-to-ceiling window treatments
This is the most versatile heading option.
BACK TABS
Back tabs are fabric loops sewn onto the reverse of the curtain heading.
The curtain rod passes through these hidden loops.
When viewed from the front, most of the rod is concealed.
Back tabs create:
• Clean structured folds
• Minimal visible hardware
• A tailored appearance
• Soft contemporary styling
Back tabs require a curtain rod.
They cannot be installed directly onto a standard curtain track.
ROD POCKET
A fabric channel is sewn across the top of the curtain.
The rod slides directly through this channel.
Rod-pocket curtains create:
• Soft gathered folds
• A relaxed appearance
• Minimal visible hardware
• A timeless curtain style
Rod pockets work particularly well for:
• Living-room curtains
• Bedroom curtains
• Decorative panels
• Small windows
• Short curtains
• Cafe curtains
Please ensure that your curtain rod diameter is compatible with the rod-pocket opening.
GROMMETS
Grommets, also known as eyelets, are rings fitted across the top of the curtain.
The curtain rod passes directly through these rings.
Grommets create:
• Broad wave-like folds
• A clean contemporary appearance
• Easy opening and closing
• Consistent gathering
• Visible decorative hardware
Grommet curtains require a curtain rod.
They cannot be installed directly onto a standard curtain track.
CURTAIN FULLNESS
The curtain width selected is the FLAT FINISHED WIDTH before gathering.
For attractive curtain folds, the combined curtain width should normally be greater than the usable width of your curtain rod or track.
A general guide is:
1.5 × FULLNESS
Creates a relaxed contemporary appearance with shallower folds.
2 × FULLNESS
Creates deeper and more luxurious curtain folds.
EXAMPLE:
Curtain rod width:
50 inches
Pair of 50-inch-wide curtains:
100 inches combined flat width.
This gives approximately 2 × fullness.
Another example:
Curtain rod width:
100 inches
Pair of 100-inch-wide curtains:
200 inches combined flat width.
This also provides approximately 2 × fullness.
The fullness particularly affects the appearance of this flowing floral pattern.
WITH MORE FULLNESS:
• Curtains appear richer
• Folds become deeper
• Flowers and leaves move naturally in and out of the folds
• The embroidery appears more layered
WITH LOWER FULLNESS:
• Curtains hang flatter
• More complete floral vines remain visible
• Individual embroidered motifs are easier to see
HOW TO MEASURE WIDTH
Measure the usable width of your curtain rod or track.
Do not include decorative finials.
Multiply the usable width by approximately 1.5 to 2 depending on your desired fullness.
Example:
Usable curtain rod:
80 inches
Desired fullness:
2 ×
80 × 2 = approximately 160 inches combined curtain width required.
A pair of 100-inch-wide panels provides 200 inches combined width and therefore creates generous fullness.
HOW TO MEASURE HEIGHT
Measure from the point from which the curtain will actually hang to where you want the completed curtain to finish.
HOOKS TOP:
Measure from the hook or curtain-ring hanging point.
BACK TABS:
Measure from the top of the curtain rod.
ROD POCKET:
Measure from the top of the curtain rod.
GROMMETS:
Measure from the top of the curtain rod while accounting for the small amount of fabric extending above the grommet rings.
Curtains can finish:
• At the sill
• Below the sill
• At apron length
• At floor length
• Just touching the floor
• With a small puddle on the floor
For floor-length curtains, measuring in several locations is recommended because rods and floors are not always perfectly level.
CUSTOM CAFE CURTAINS
This same floral embroidered linen fabric can also be made into custom cafe curtains.
Cafe curtains cover the lower section of a window while leaving the upper portion open for natural daylight.
The lively burnt-orange, dusty-blue and ivory floral embroidery makes this fabric especially attractive for cafe curtains in kitchens and breakfast spaces.
Cafe curtains can be used for:
• Kitchen windows
• Breakfast nooks
• Breakfast rooms
• Dining areas
• Bathrooms
• Powder rooms
• Pantry windows
• Utility rooms
• French doors
• Street-facing windows
• Lower-half window privacy
Cafe curtains can be made:
• Unlined
• Organic cotton light-filtering lined
• Blackout lined
Heading options include:
• Rod Pocket
• Back Tabs
• Hooks Top
• Grommets where appropriate for the requested dimensions

Please clearly write “CAFE CURTAINS” in your Personalisation instructions.
PATTERN PLACEMENT
The exact placement of the embroidered floral vines can vary depending on:
• Curtain width
• Curtain height
• Embroidery repeat
• Custom measurements
• Heading style
• Position from which the fabric is cut
• Whether a joining seam is required
For a pair, we will position the embroidered design as consistently as reasonably possible.
However, exact mirror-image positioning of every flower, bud and leaf cannot always be guaranteed.
Once the curtains are gathered, certain flowers will appear prominently across the front of the folds while others move naturally into the valleys between folds.
This creates beautiful depth and movement after installation.

LIVING ROOM CURTAINS
These embroidered floral curtains are especially suitable for living rooms where you want a statement pattern without a dark background.
The ivory base keeps the fabric feeling airy while the multicoloured embroidery brings character and warmth.
Choose:
UNLINED
for natural linen character and filtered daylight.
ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT FILTERING
for complete opacity and privacy with softened daylight.
BLACKOUT
for maximum light blocking through the curtain fabric and a heavier finished drape.
BEDROOM CURTAINS
For bedrooms, the blackout-lined version provides maximum light blocking through the body of the curtain.
The combination of:
• Heavy pure linen
• Substantial embroidery
• Blackout lining
creates a rich and luxurious completed curtain.
The multicolour botanical design works particularly well in bedrooms using natural wood, cream bedding, blue accents, terracotta accessories or warm neutral walls.
DINING ROOM CURTAINS
The flowing botanical pattern creates an elegant garden-inspired appearance suitable for both formal and relaxed dining rooms.
It coordinates particularly well with:
• Oak dining tables
• Walnut furniture
• Natural linen upholstery
• Cream walls
• Brass lighting
• Terracotta accessories
• Blue ceramics
• Stone flooring
NURSERY CURTAINS
The multicolour floral design can also make a beautiful nursery curtain.
Its combination of orange, blue, soft green, grey and ivory creates a colourful but sophisticated alternative to conventional nursery prints.
For daytime sleeping, choose the blackout liner.
Because the botanical pattern is not specifically child-themed, it can continue to work beautifully as the room matures.
