Measure for your curtains

Enter your width and height together, then apply your measurements.

Size-dropdown widths are flat fabric widths per curtain.

A gathered curtain covers less space than its flat fabric width. Choose fullness below; Grommet/Eyelet and Pinch pleats always need 2× your coverage width.

This selection also updates Heading style on the product page.

Choose your fullness

Multiply the rod / track coverage by your fullness, then divide by the number of curtains.

Photorealistic fullness examples; actual folds vary with fabric and heading.

Measure the usable span of your installed rod or track, from one end of the curtain coverage to the other. Exclude decorative finials.

A pair contains two curtains. The flat fabric width you order is per curtain, not the combined pair. Choosing a curtain count here updates Panel quantity on the product page.

Enter the full measured drop. For Hooks top only, we subtract 1 in (2.54 cm) because the curtain hangs slightly below the rod. Do not deduct it yourself.

Finished curtain height to orderEnter the height you measured above.

Apply your measurements

We select the exact available flat-width × finished-height size, or the closest larger size fitting both dimensions. For a larger size, your exact request is added to Custom sizes / requirements, preserving your own notes. Your curtain-count choice also updates Panel quantity on the product page.

Review your heading and fullness before applying. This updates your selected size but does not add anything to your cart.

How to measure · illustrations and examples

Measure the space your curtains will cover

Measure the usable span of your installed rod or track, from one end of the curtain coverage to the other. Exclude decorative finials.

Measure the usable rod or track span—not the window glass or decorative finials.

Example: a 100 in (254 cm) rod, two curtains and 2× fullness need 100 in (254 cm) flat width per curtain.

Flat fabric width before gathering or pleating—not the hanging coverage.

Measure from the top of the rod to your chosen bottom

Measure straight down from the top of your installed curtain rod to where you want the curtains to end. For a track, use the top of the installed track.

Start at the top of the rod or track. Stop at your chosen bottom.

IVORY PURE LINEN CURTAINS WITH CHARCOAL GRAY AND TAUPE GEOMETRIC EMBROIDERY

Add architectural pattern, luxurious linen texture and sophisticated neutral color to your windows with these made-to-order pure linen embroidered curtains.

The curtain fabric has a warm ivory to soft off-white pure linen background decorated with a repeating charcoal gray, stone gray and natural taupe-beige geometric embroidery. Large interlocking stepped-square motifs are arranged in a balanced all-over repeat, with closely spaced embroidered lines forming diagonal sections inside each shape. Small taupe embroidered squares appear between the larger motifs, adding rhythm and definition to the design.

The combination of crisp geometric forms, muted neutral colors and visible hand-crafted textile texture gives the fabric a refined mid-century modern appearance with subtle Art Deco and contemporary architectural influences.

These curtains are suitable for modern, mid-century, minimalist, transitional, Scandinavian, contemporary, modern farmhouse, Art Deco-inspired and neutral interiors. They work beautifully with warm white walls, natural oak, walnut, black metal, brushed brass, stone, rattan, woven rugs and understated neutral furnishings.

THICK AND HEAVY PURE LINEN FABRIC

These curtains are made from substantial pure linen embroidered fabric rather than lightweight linen-look material.

The fabric weighs approximately 294 GSM.

This has been converted from a fabric weight of 403 grams per linear metre at a fabric width of 54 inches, approximately 137 cm:

403 grams ÷ 1.3716 metres = approximately 293.8 grams per square metre

Rounded fabric weight: approximately 294 GSM

The substantial fabric weight gives the curtains:

• A rich and luxurious drape
• Beautifully defined vertical folds
• More body than lightweight linen curtains
• Clear visibility of the embroidered design
• A premium upholstered-textile appearance
• A softly structured rather than flimsy finish

Despite its substantial weight, the linen retains the natural movement, visible woven texture and relaxed character associated with genuine linen.

Natural linen may contain occasional slubs, fine yarn variations, small knots and subtle irregularities in the weave. These are normal characteristics of genuine linen and contribute to its organic appearance. They should not be considered defects.

COLOR DESCRIPTION

Base fabric:

Warm ivory, creamy off-white or very light natural linen

Main embroidery:

Charcoal gray and medium stone gray

Secondary embroidery:

Natural taupe, beige and flax

The charcoal gray embroidery creates definition without appearing harsh black. The taupe-beige thread softens the pattern and coordinates naturally with the warm ivory background.

The colors are muted and sophisticated rather than bright or highly saturated. Depending on the surrounding light, the gray embroidery may appear slightly darker, softer, warmer or cooler.

Natural daylight may make the base appear lighter and more off-white. Warm artificial lighting may make it appear creamier, while cool lighting may make it look closer to pale ivory.

Computer screens and mobile displays may reproduce colors differently. Slight color variations may also occur between separate fabric dye lots. When purchasing curtains for the same room, we recommend ordering all required panels together for the closest possible color match.

GEOMETRIC EMBROIDERED PATTERN

The fabric features an all-over repeating arrangement of interlocking stepped-square motifs.

Each large motif contains:

• A stepped rectangular outline
• Fine vertical embroidered lines
• Diagonal divisions created through graduated line lengths
• Charcoal and stone-gray stitched detailing
• Taupe-beige embroidered outlines and accents

Smaller square motifs are positioned between the larger geometric shapes. These small details connect the overall pattern and give the repeat an orderly architectural appearance.

From a distance, the curtains create a calm geometric rhythm across the window. From nearby, the detailed embroidery, individual stitches and natural linen weave become visible.

The pattern can be described as:

• Geometric
• Interlocking square
• Stepped square
• Architectural
• Mid-century modern
• Art Deco inspired
• Abstract linear
• Modern neutral
• Embroidered lattice

The design is distinctive enough to create a focal point while remaining neutral and versatile for long-term interior use.

SINGLE CURTAIN OR SET OF TWO CURTAINS

The curtains are available as:

• One single curtain panel
• One pair or set of two curtain panels

Please check the selected quantity carefully before completing your order.

All dimensions shown in the size menu refer to the finished flat size of EACH individual curtain before gathering.

Example:

If you select:

Set of 2 Curtains
50 inches wide × 84 inches high

You will receive two separate curtain panels.

Each individual panel will measure approximately:

50 inches wide × 84 inches high

The total combined flat width of both curtains will therefore be approximately 100 inches.

If you select:

Single Curtain
50 inches wide × 84 inches high

You will receive one curtain measuring approximately:

50 inches wide × 84 inches high

AVAILABLE CURTAIN WIDTHS

The standard flat finished widths available for each individual curtain are:

• 50 inches wide — approximately 127 cm
• 100 inches wide — approximately 254 cm

The selected width is the finished flat width before the curtain is gathered, folded or arranged on the rod or track.

Curtains generally look more luxurious and full when the combined flat width of the panels is wider than the rod, track or window being covered.

Please consider your preferred fullness when deciding whether to order:

• One 50-inch curtain
• Two 50-inch curtains
• One 100-inch curtain
• Two 100-inch curtains

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR 100-INCH-WIDE CURTAINS

The embroidered linen fabric is approximately 54 inches wide.

A single uninterrupted piece of fabric is therefore not wide enough to produce a finished 100-inch-wide curtain.

Every 100-inch-wide curtain will be constructed by carefully joining two approximately 50-inch-wide fabric sections.

Each completed 100-inch-wide curtain will have one professionally finished vertical seam near the middle of the panel.

The embroidered pattern will be aligned as neatly as the fabric repeat and selected curtain dimensions permit. Once the curtain is installed and arranged into natural folds, the central joining seam is generally barely visible.

The joining seam is a normal and necessary part of constructing an extra-wide curtain from this embroidered linen fabric.

When a set of two 100-inch-wide curtains is ordered, each individual curtain will have its own central joining seam.

AVAILABLE CURTAIN HEIGHTS

Standard finished heights are available from 36 inches to 180 inches in increments of 12 inches:

• 36 inches — approximately 91 cm
• 48 inches — approximately 122 cm
• 60 inches — approximately 152 cm
• 72 inches — approximately 183 cm
• 84 inches — approximately 213 cm
• 96 inches — approximately 244 cm
• 108 inches — approximately 274 cm
• 120 inches — approximately 305 cm
• 132 inches — approximately 335 cm
• 144 inches — approximately 366 cm
• 156 inches — approximately 396 cm
• 168 inches — approximately 427 cm
• 180 inches — approximately 457 cm

The extensive height range makes these curtains suitable for:

• Standard windows

• Wide living room windows
• Dining room windows
• Patio and French doors
• Tall ceilings
• Floor-to-ceiling installations
• Double-height rooms
• Extra-long custom drapes
• Short kitchen and cafe curtains

The measurements entered in Personalization will be treated as the required finished curtain dimensions unless you clearly state otherwise.

FOUR AVAILABLE HEADING STYLES

The curtains can be made with any of the following four heading styles:

1. HOOKS TOP

The curtain is finished with heading tape across the back of the top edge.

Curtain hooks are inserted into the heading tape.

Hooks-top curtains are compatible with:

• Curtain tracks
• Curtain rods fitted with rings and hooks

This is the best option when you already have a conventional curtain track or a rod fitted with curtain rings.

The hooks are positioned behind the curtain, allowing the embroidered linen to remain the main visible feature.

2. BACK TABS

Fabric tabs are sewn onto the reverse side of the curtain heading.

The curtain rod passes through the concealed tabs. When installed, the tabs remain largely hidden from the front.

Back tabs create:

• A clean modern appearance
• Softly structured folds
• Minimal visible hardware
• A tailored yet relaxed finish

Back-tab curtains are designed for use with a curtain rod and are not intended to run directly on a standard curtain track.

3. ROD POCKET

A continuous fabric channel is sewn across the curtain heading.

The curtain rod passes directly through the pocket.

Rod-pocket curtains create:

• Soft gathering
• A relaxed decorative appearance
• Minimal visible hardware
• A traditional yet versatile finish

Rod-pocket curtains are suitable for curtain rods. They are not intended for conventional curtain tracks.

4. GROMMETS

Metal grommets, also known as eyelets, are installed across the curtain heading.

The curtain rod passes directly through the grommets.

Grommet curtains create:

• Regular vertical folds
• Easy movement along the rod
• A clean contemporary appearance
• Clearly defined gathering

Grommets are suitable for curtain rods and are not designed for conventional curtain tracks.

HEADING STYLE REQUIRED IN PERSONALIZATION

Please enter one of the following heading choices in the order details email:

• Hooks Top
• Back Tabs
• Rod Pocket
• Grommets

When using a curtain track, select Hooks Top.

LINING OPTIONS

Three finishing options are available:

1. UNLINED

The unlined option preserves the most natural appearance and movement of the embroidered linen.

Because linen has a naturally open woven structure, the unlined curtains are semi-sheer when strong daylight passes through them.

Unlined curtains:

• Gently soften incoming daylight
• Retain the natural linen texture
• Have a lighter and more relaxed drape
• Provide a degree of daytime privacy
• Work well when layered with blinds or shades
• Allow some visibility of the embroidery from the reverse

Unlined linen curtains should not be relied upon for complete nighttime privacy. Shapes and silhouettes may be visible from outside when interior lights are switched on after dark.

Choose unlined curtains when you prefer a light, natural and softly filtered window treatment.

2. ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT-FILTERING LINER

An organic cotton liner can be added for increased privacy, opacity and fabric body.

The cotton liner allows softly diffused daylight to enter while making the completed curtain substantially more opaque.

The organic cotton liner provides:

• Increased daytime privacy
• Increased nighttime privacy
• A completely opaque curtain appearance under normal conditions
• Softly filtered natural light
• Additional curtain body
• A cleaner appearance from outside the window
• Reduced visibility of the reverse of the embroidery
• A natural-fibre lining option

The organic cotton liner is light filtering rather than blackout.

It reduces and diffuses incoming light but does not create complete darkness.

Choose this liner when you want privacy and opacity while still retaining gentle natural daylight.

3. 100% BLACKOUT OEKO-TEX CERTIFIED POLYCOTTON LINER

The blackout option uses an OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified polycotton liner made from approximately:

• 50% cotton
• 50% polyester

The liner is designed to block 100% of light from passing directly through the lined curtain fabric.

The blackout liner provides:

• Complete opacity
• Maximum light blocking through the curtain
• Greater nighttime privacy
• Additional weight and structure
• Reduced glare
• Better room darkening
• A clean appearance from the exterior
• Improved suitability for sleeping areas

The blackout option is particularly suitable for:

• Bedrooms
• Nurseries
• Children’s rooms
• Guest rooms
• Media rooms
• Rooms exposed to street lighting
• Daytime sleepers
• Shift workers
• Windows receiving strong sunlight

The liner blocks light through the body of the curtain. A small amount of light may still enter around the top, sides, bottom or centre opening depending on the installation, rod position and curtain fullness.

For the strongest room-darkening result, the curtains should extend beyond the window opening and should have sufficient width to close without being pulled completely flat.

LINER CHOICE REQUIRED IN PERSONALIZATION

Please enter one of the following choices:

• Unlined
• Organic Cotton Light Filtering
• 100% Blackout

The lining choice should be entered together with the heading style and exact finished measurements.

PERSONALIZATION INFORMATION REQUIRED

Please include all of the following information in the order details email:

• Exact finished width required per curtain
• Exact finished height required per curtain
• Heading style
• Liner choice
• Any special requests

Example personalization:

50 inches wide × 96 inches high per curtain
Set of 2 curtains
Hooks top
100% blackout liner

Please make sure that your personalization details correspond with the quantity and size selected from the variation menus.

CAFE CURTAINS AND SHORT CURTAINS

We can also make custom cafe curtains from this pure linen embroidered fabric.

The ivory, charcoal gray and taupe geometric design works especially well as:

• Linen cafe curtains
• Kitchen tier curtains
• Half-window curtains
• Breakfast nook curtains
• Bathroom privacy curtains
• Utility room curtains
• Cabinet curtains
• Short office curtains
• Small window panels

Cafe curtains can be made in custom widths and drops.

To order cafe curtains:

1. Measure the exact finished width and drop required.
2. Select the next available standard size up.
3. Enter the exact required cafe-curtain measurements in Personalization.
4. Add the required heading style.
5. Add the required lining choice.

Cafe curtains can be ordered unlined for a lighter, softly filtered appearance or with an organic cotton liner for additional privacy and opacity.

A blackout liner can also be selected when maximum light blocking is required.

PATTERN PLACEMENT AND MATCHING

The embroidered design has a repeating geometric pattern.

Because each curtain is individually cut according to the selected dimensions, the exact position at which the pattern begins and ends may vary slightly between finished panels.

When a pair of curtains is ordered, we will make every reasonable effort to coordinate the pattern placement and create a balanced appearance across both curtains.

Exact mirror-image placement cannot always be guaranteed because pattern alignment depends on:

• The embroidered fabric repeat
• Selected curtain width
• Selected curtain height
• Heading construction
• Hem allowances
• Usable fabric edges
• Whether a joining seam is required

For 100-inch-wide curtains, the embroidered pattern will be aligned across the central joining seam as neatly as the repeat permits.

MADE TO ORDER

Every curtain is made to order according to the selected:

• Quantity
• Width
• Height
• Heading style
• Liner choice
• Custom instructions

The curtains are individually measured, cut, pattern-positioned, joined where required, lined when selected, hemmed and finished.

These are not thin, standard packaged curtains taken from mass-produced inventory. The substantial pure linen, detailed geometric embroidery and custom construction create a distinctive made-to-order window treatment.

SUITABLE ROOMS

These embroidered linen curtains are suitable for:

• Living rooms
• Bedrooms
• Dining rooms
• Home offices
• Guest rooms
• Kitchens
• Breakfast rooms
• Reading rooms
• Entryways
• Studios
• Media rooms
• Tall-window installations
• Patio doors
• Floor-to-ceiling windows
• Custom cafe-curtain installations

INTERIOR STYLING

The neutral ivory, gray and taupe palette coordinates particularly well with:

• Warm white and cream walls
• Light natural oak
• Dark walnut furniture
• Black metal curtain rods
• Brushed brass hardware
• Beige and gray upholstery
• Charcoal accents
• Natural stone
• Rattan and cane furniture
• Woven neutral rugs
• Minimalist artwork
• Mid-century furniture
• Contemporary neutral décor

The geometric embroidery adds pattern without overwhelming the room, making the curtains suitable for both understated interiors and more layered decorative spaces.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Professional dry cleaning is recommended to protect the pure linen, embroidery and selected lining.

For routine maintenance:

• Gently vacuum using a clean upholstery attachment
• Use low suction around embroidered areas
• Do not pull or aggressively rub the embroidery
• Treat small marks promptly
• Do not bleach
• Do not use strong stain-removal chemicals
• Do not tumble dry
• Avoid prolonged storage in damp conditions
• Use a protective pressing cloth when ironing
• Iron from the reverse wherever possible
• Follow the care information supplied with the finished curtains

Natural creasing is a normal characteristic of linen and contributes to its relaxed appearance.
