COLOUR & PATTERN DETAILS

The background is a soft ivory/off-white with a subtle cream undertone. Narrow horizontal and vertical lines form an open windowpane grid, leaving generous areas of the pale background visible.

The lines alternate between dusty sky blue, muted blue-teal, sage green, pale mint, sandy beige, taupe and grey with a soft mauve undertone. Small groups of crosswise stripes add detail along sections of the grid.

The result is a relaxed, multicoloured plaid with gently irregular lines and an understated geometric feel. It pairs naturally with cream bedding, light wood furniture, sage accessories and blue accents.

UNLINED — SEMI-SHEER & LIGHT FILTERING

Unlined curtains gently soften daylight while retaining a semi-sheer finish. They provide light daytime privacy and allow natural light into the room.

Privacy depends on the lighting inside and outside. Silhouettes may remain visible when the room is brighter than outdoors, particularly at night.

ORGANIC COTTON LINING — OPAQUE PRIVACY

Add an organic cotton light-filtering liner to make the curtains completely opaque and provide extra privacy.

This option prevents a see-through appearance while allowing softly diffused daylight. Choose cotton lining when you want privacy and a fuller curtain without blackout darkness.

100% BLACKOUT LINING — COMPLETE LIGHT BLOCKING THROUGH THE FABRIC

The OEKO-TEX certified polycotton blackout liner blocks 100% of light passing through the lined curtain fabric.

This option is suited to nursery blackout curtains, children’s bedrooms and spaces where stronger daylight control is needed.

For the darkest result, allow sufficient curtain coverage above and beside the window and overlap where panels meet. Overall room darkness also depends on light entering around the curtain edges.

The OEKO-TEX certification applies to the blackout liner.

SINGLE PANEL OR PAIR

Choose the quantity required for your window:

• Single piece: one curtain panel.
• Pair / set of 2: two curtain panels.

All listed widths refer to EACH panel measured flat before gathering.

For example, a pair of 50-inch-wide curtains includes two panels, each 50 inches wide, giving a combined flat fabric width of 100 inches.

A pair of 100-inch-wide curtains includes two panels, each 100 inches wide, giving a combined flat fabric width of 200 inches.

IMPORTANT: 100-INCH-WIDE PANELS

Each 100-inch-wide curtain is made by joining two 50-inch panels. There will be a vertical seam in the middle of each curtain, which is barely visible after the curtains are installed and arranged in folds.

4. Include your heading style and lining choice.

Example:
For a finished panel measuring 47 inches wide × 90 inches high, select the 50-inch width and 96-inch height. Enter “47 W × 90 H inches per panel” in the order details email.

FOUR HEADING STYLES

HOOKS TOP
Woven heading tape is sewn across the back of the curtain. This heading works with both curtain rods using suitable rings and curtain tracks using suitable gliders.

BACK TABS
Concealed tabs on the back allow the rod to pass through, creating a clean front appearance and soft folds.

ROD POCKETS
The curtain rod slides through a sewn pocket at the top for a gathered finish.

GROMMETS
Eyelets at the top slide onto a curtain rod and create defined, even folds.

CAFE CURTAINS & SHORT WINDOW PANELS

We can also make cafe curtains from this same ivory, blue and sage windowpane fabric.

Custom cafe curtains work well for smaller windows or covering the lower portion of a window while leaving the upper section open to daylight. The understated plaid also complements kitchens, breakfast nooks and family rooms.

Choose unlined cafe curtains for gentle light filtering, organic cotton lining for opaque privacy, or blackout lining for light blocking through the covered area. Partial-window curtains will still allow light through the uncovered portion of the window.

MEASURING YOUR CURTAINS

Measure the area you want the curtains to cover and allow additional fabric width for your preferred fullness. A curtain’s flat width differs from the width it covers when gathered.

Measure the finished drop with your chosen heading and hardware in mind. When ordering a pair, specify the required width of each individual panel.
