Ivory Greige Pure Linen Roman Shade, Geometric Trellis Jacquard, Custom Blackout or Light Filtering Window Blind
IVORY AND GREIGE PURE LINEN ROMAN SHADE – GEOMETRIC TRELLIS JACQUARD CUSTOM WINDOW BLIND
Bring luxurious texture, understated pattern and elegant neutral colour to your windows with this custom-made pure linen Roman shade.
The thick, heavyweight jacquard fabric features an oversized interlocking geometric trellis formed from elongated diamonds, angular hexagons and softly faceted octagonal shapes. Each motif is defined by a precise double woven outline in light greige, warm stone grey and muted taupe, creating an elegant architectural pattern across a soft ivory and warm off-white background.
Within the geometric shapes, delicately mottled areas of ivory, parchment, pale greige, oatmeal, mushroom taupe and soft stone grey create a gently distressed appearance. This subtle tonal variation gives the fabric depth and character without making the pattern feel busy or overpowering.
The neutral colour palette makes this Roman blind highly versatile. It works beautifully with warm white walls, cream upholstery, natural linen textiles, oak or walnut furniture, beige rugs, stone surfaces, brushed brass, antique bronze, matte black hardware and soft grey decorative accents.
The structured trellis design has a subtle Art Deco influence, while its restrained neutral colours also suit contemporary, organic-modern, transitional, minimalist and modern luxury interiors.
Each Roman shade is individually made to the exact width and height entered in the order details email.

COLOUR DESCRIPTION
The dominant colour is a soft, warm ivory rather than a bright optical white.
The fabric contains a layered neutral palette of:
• Warm ivory
• Soft off-white
• Light cream
• Pale greige
• Mushroom taupe
• Oatmeal beige
• Warm stone grey
• Subtle silver-grey accents
The background is woven from warm ivory and softly neutral yarns, creating a natural, lightly textured appearance. The large geometric shapes contain subtle mottled areas of beige, greige and stone grey, giving the fabric a softly aged or distressed finish.
The double outlines around each geometric motif appear slightly deeper than the background. Depending on the lighting, they may look light taupe, warm grey, greige or softly silvered.
The detailing is woven into the jacquard and is not metallic foil, glitter or a flat printed border. The yarns may catch the light gently, allowing the geometric pattern to appear stronger or softer from different viewing angles.
Colour appearance can vary according to:
• Natural daylight
• Warm or cool artificial lighting
• The direction of sunlight
• The angle from which the fabric is viewed
• Screen brightness
• Individual screen colour settings
A fabric sample is recommended when an exact colour match is required for existing paint, wallpaper, bedding, upholstery or furniture.
GEOMETRIC TRELLIS PATTERN
The fabric displays a continuous large-scale geometric lattice composed of vertically connected angular shapes.
The design includes:
• Elongated diamond forms
• Angular hexagonal shapes
• Faceted octagonal motifs
• Fine parallel double outlines
• Vertically interlocking trellis repeats
• Symmetrical architectural lines
• Softly distressed tonal interiors
Each shape connects to the next through a narrow central section, creating a flowing chain-like lattice across the fabric.
The precise double borders contrast beautifully with the softly mottled interiors. This combination gives the design a tailored and architectural appearance while preserving the relaxed character of natural linen.
The elongated diamonds and balanced symmetry give the pattern a subtle Art Deco influence. However, the restrained ivory and greige palette also allows it to complement modern, transitional and organic interiors.
JACQUARD-WOVEN DESIGN
The geometric design is created through jacquard weaving rather than being applied as a flat surface print.
Different yarn colours and woven structures form the design within the fabric itself. This creates:
• Visible woven depth
• A tactile textured surface
• Subtly raised geometric outlines
• Tonal colour variation
• A luxurious designer-quality appearance
• Gentle changes in appearance as the light moves
The trellis pattern may appear more defined in angled natural light and softer in diffused daylight or evening lighting.
THICK PURE LINEN FACE FABRIC
The face fabric is made from thick, substantial pure linen with a luxurious heavyweight feel.
Its natural body helps the completed Roman shade form neat, structured horizontal folds when raised and creates a polished, tailored appearance when fully lowered.
Unlike thin imitation-linen fabrics, this material has visible woven character, natural texture and a substantial designer-quality finish.
The linen is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified.
The neutral geometric design is ideal for customers searching for:
• Ivory Roman shades
• Greige Roman blinds
• Neutral window treatments
• Pure linen Roman shades

• Trellis-pattern window shades
• Jacquard window treatments
• Art Deco Roman shades

LINING OPTIONS
Please enter your required liner choice in the order details email.
OPTION 1: ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT-FILTERING LINER
The organic cotton liner gently filters incoming daylight while allowing the room to remain softly and naturally illuminated.
This option is suitable when you would like:
• Softened natural daylight
• Reduced glare from direct sunlight
• Additional daytime privacy
• A bright and comfortable room
• A neat, fully lined finish
• Protection for the reverse of the linen
• A natural organic cotton lining
• Gentle rather than complete light control
The organic cotton liner is light filtering, not blackout. Daylight will continue to pass softly through the completed blind, particularly when the window receives strong direct sunlight.
The exact amount of visible light will depend on:
• The direction of the window
• The intensity of the sunlight
• The time of day
• Exterior lighting
• Interior lighting
• Whether the blind is mounted inside or outside the recess
Night-time privacy may vary when strong interior lights are switched on after dark.
OPTION 2: 100% BLACKOUT OEKO-TEX CERTIFIED POLYCOTTON LINER
The blackout liner is made from non-toxic OEKO-TEX certified polycotton containing:
• 50% cotton
• 50% polyester
This liner is designed to prevent light from passing through the fabric itself.
The blackout option is recommended for:
• Bedrooms
• Nurseries
• Children’s rooms
• Guest bedrooms
• Media rooms
• Home cinemas
• Shift workers
• Light-sensitive sleepers
• Rooms receiving strong sunlight
• Rooms requiring greater privacy
• Spaces where stronger light control is preferred
The blackout liner also adds additional body and structure to the Roman blind.
IMPORTANT BLACKOUT INFORMATION
“100% blackout” refers to the light-blocking performance of the liner fabric itself.
A Roman shade does not create an airtight seal around the complete window opening. A small amount of light may remain visible around the outer edges, particularly when the blind is installed inside the recess.
For stronger overall room darkening, an outside-recess installation is recommended. Allowing the blind to overlap the window opening on each side helps reduce light entering around the edges.

HOW TO MEASURE FOR AN INSIDE-RECESS ROMAN SHADE
An inside-recess Roman blind is installed within the window opening.
This fitting method creates a clean, integrated appearance and leaves the surrounding wall or decorative window trim visible.
Before measuring, check that the recess is sufficiently deep for the Roman blind and its mounting hardware.
Also check carefully for:
• Window handles
• Window locks
• Opening windows
• Projecting trim
• Decorative mouldings
• Tiles
• Vents
• Other obstructions
STEP 1: MEASURE THE EXACT INSIDE WIDTH
Measure the exact recess width at the top. Do not make any deductions
• Exact recess width at the top
• Record the exact top width
• Do not make deductions
Measure the exact recess width at the top. Do not make any deductions
Enter the exact inside-recess width without making any deduction yourself. The necessary manufacturing allowance will be made when the blind is produced.
STEP 2: MEASURE THE EXACT INSIDE HEIGHT
Measure the exact recess height. Do not make any deductions
• Exact recess height
• Record the exact height
• Do not make deductions
Measure the exact recess height. Do not make any deductions.
STEP 3: CHECK THE RECESS DEPTH
Confirm that there is enough unobstructed depth for the mounting clamps, upper mechanism and folded blind.
Pay particular attention to handles, locks or other projections that could interfere with the blind while it is raised or lowered.
STEP 4: CONFIRM THE INSTALLATION TYPE
Clearly enter the following in the order details email:
Installation: Inside recess
Inside-recess and outside-recess installations use different mounting clamps, so the fitting method must be stated correctly.
HOW TO MEASURE FOR AN OUTSIDE-RECESS ROMAN SHADE
An outside-recess Roman blind is installed on the wall or decorative trim above and around the window opening.
This fitting method can:
• Make the window appear larger
• Cover a shallow or uneven recess
• Avoid obstructions inside the recess
• Increase privacy around the sides
• Reduce light entering around the edges
• Provide greater overall window coverage
STEP 1: MEASURE THE REQUIRED FINISHED WIDTH
Measure the complete width you want the finished Roman blind to cover.
For proper coverage, the finished blind should be at least 4 inches or approximately 10 cm wider than the window opening, where sufficient wall space is available.
This provides approximately:
• 2 inches / 5 cm overlap on the left
• 2 inches / 5 cm overlap on the right
A greater overlap can be selected when stronger privacy or room darkening is required.
Enter the complete finished width, including the desired overlap.
Do not enter only the glass width or window-opening width unless that is the exact finished coverage you require.
STEP 2: CHOOSE THE INSTALLATION POSITION
Decide exactly where the top of the blind will be installed above the window.
Check that:
• The mounting surface is suitable
• There is sufficient room above the opening
• The blind will not interfere with the ceiling
• The raised folds will not conflict with a curtain pole
• The mounting surface can safely support the blind
• The blind will clear projecting window handles
STEP 3: MEASURE THE REQUIRED FINISHED HEIGHT
Measure vertically from the exact point where the blind will be installed to the point where you want the blind to end when fully lowered.
This complete measurement is the required finished height.
Do not provide only the height of the glass or window opening unless that is the exact coverage required.
STEP 4: CONFIRM THE INSTALLATION TYPE
Clearly enter the following in the order details email:
Installation: Outside recess
The correct outside-mount clamps will then be included with the order.
IMPORTANT MEASURING ADVICE
• Use a rigid metal measuring tape rather than a soft fabric tape.
• Measure every window separately, even when the windows appear identical.
• Take every measurement at least twice.
• Clearly state whether the measurements are in inches or centimetres.
• Always enter width first and height second.
• Do not make your own deduction for an inside-recess order.
• For an outside mount, enter the complete finished coverage required.
• Check carefully for handles, locks and other obstructions.
• Do not rely only on architectural plans or the size of an existing blind.
• Review every measurement carefully before submitting the order.
INSTALLATION HARDWARE INCLUDED
Installation hardware is included with the completed Roman shade.
Depending on the installation type entered in the order details email, the package will contain:
• Inside-recess mounting clamps, or
• Outside-recess mounting clamps
• Installation screws
Inside-recess and outside-recess installations require different clamps. It is therefore essential to provide the correct installation method when placing the order.
The suitability of the included screws may depend on the construction of the mounting surface.
Brick, concrete, plasterboard, stone, tile, timber and other materials may require different wall plugs, anchors or specialised fixings obtained locally.
When uncertain about the mounting surface or installation method, please consult a competent local installer.
CORDED ROMAN SHADE OPERATION
This is a functional cord-operated Roman shade.
The operating cord allows the blind to be raised into neat horizontal folds and lowered across the window. When fully lowered, the large-scale geometric jacquard pattern is displayed across the front of the blind.
Operating cords must always be secured and kept completely out of the reach of babies, young children and pets.
The blind should be installed and used according to all window-covering and child-safety requirements applicable in the destination country.
PATTERN PLACEMENT
Every Roman shade is individually cut according to the exact dimensions provided by the customer.
The position of the diamonds, octagons and trellis outlines will vary according to:
• The ordered width
• The ordered height
• The natural size of the pattern repeat
• The position from which the fabric is cut
Individual motifs may not appear in exactly the same position as shown in the listing photographs. This is a normal characteristic of a custom-made product created from a large-scale patterned fabric.
When multiple blinds are ordered together, every reasonable effort will be made to create a visually coordinated overall appearance. Exact identical motif placement cannot always be guaranteed.
NATURAL LINEN CHARACTERISTICS
Pure linen is a natural textile and may contain:
• Small slubs
• Occasional knots
• Slightly thicker or thinner yarns
• Minor woven irregularities
• Subtle variations in texture
• Gentle variations in yarn colour
These features are natural characteristics of genuine linen and should not be considered manufacturing defects.
The jacquard construction also creates subtle variations in texture and light reflection. The pattern may appear slightly stronger or softer according to the lighting and viewing angle.
