Measure for your curtains

Enter your width and height together, then apply your measurements.

Size-dropdown widths are flat fabric widths per curtain.

A gathered curtain covers less space than its flat fabric width. Choose fullness below; Grommet/Eyelet and Pinch pleats always need 2× your coverage width.

This selection also updates Heading style on the product page.

Choose your fullness

Multiply the rod / track coverage by your fullness, then divide by the number of curtains.

Photorealistic fullness examples; actual folds vary with fabric and heading.

Measure the usable span of your installed rod or track, from one end of the curtain coverage to the other. Exclude decorative finials.

A pair contains two curtains. The flat fabric width you order is per curtain, not the combined pair. Choosing a curtain count here updates Panel quantity on the product page.

Enter the full measured drop. For Hooks top only, we subtract 1 in (2.54 cm) because the curtain hangs slightly below the rod. Do not deduct it yourself.

Apply your measurements

We select the exact available flat-width × finished-height size, or the closest larger size fitting both dimensions. For a larger size, your exact request is added to Custom sizes / requirements, preserving your own notes. Your curtain-count choice also updates Panel quantity on the product page.

Review your heading and fullness before applying. This updates your selected size but does not add anything to your cart.

How to measure · illustrations and examples

Measure the space your curtains will cover

Measure the usable span of your installed rod or track, from one end of the curtain coverage to the other. Exclude decorative finials.

Measure the usable rod or track span—not the window glass or decorative finials.

Example: a 100 in (254 cm) rod, two curtains and 2× fullness need 100 in (254 cm) flat width per curtain.

Flat fabric width before gathering or pleating—not the hanging coverage.

Measure from the top of the rod to your chosen bottom

Measure straight down from the top of your installed curtain rod to where you want the curtains to end. For a track, use the top of the installed track.

Start at the top of the rod or track. Stop at your chosen bottom.

IVORY GREIGE PURE LINEN JACQUARD CURTAINS WITH A SILVER-TAUPE GEOMETRIC TRELLIS PATTERN

Bring refined neutral colour, substantial natural texture and an elegant architectural pattern to your windows with these custom-made pure linen jacquard curtains.

This thick and heavy linen fabric features a soft ivory and warm off-white ground layered with a beautifully weathered woven texture in pale greige, silver grey, mushroom taupe and natural flax. Slim pewter-grey outlines form a large repeating geometric trellis across the fabric.

The pattern is composed of elongated hexagons, tapered diamonds and vertically linked geometric frames. Its strong symmetrical structure gives the design a modern Art Deco influence, while the softly distressed woven effect keeps the overall appearance relaxed, subtle and easy to coordinate with a wide variety of interiors.

From a distance, the curtains create a clean and balanced geometric lattice. Viewed more closely, the layered ivory, greige and silver-taupe threads reveal a gently mottled, almost antique-textile effect. This intentional variation prevents the fabric from looking flat or overly uniform.

These made-to-order curtains are suitable for living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, nurseries, guest rooms, home offices, dressing rooms, lofts, high-ceiling spaces, French doors and floor-to-ceiling windows.

They can be purchased as one single curtain panel or as a pair/set of two matching curtain panels.

Choose from:

• Unlined
• Organic cotton light-filtering lined
• 100% blackout OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified polycotton lined

COLOUR AND PATTERN

Main background colour:

A soft warm ivory with off-white, natural flax and pale parchment undertones.

Woven secondary colours:

A weathered blend of pale greige, silver grey, mushroom taupe, light stone and natural linen beige.

Geometric outline colour:

Pewter grey, soft charcoal grey, cool taupe and muted silver.

Pattern style:

A large-scale repeating geometric trellis composed of elongated hexagons, tapered diamonds and linked architectural shapes.

The design is woven directly into the fabric rather than printed onto the surface. This jacquard construction gives the pattern visible depth, texture and subtle variations as light moves across the curtains.

The central areas of the geometric shapes have a softly distressed woven appearance. This weathered effect is intentional and forms part of the design. It should not be mistaken for fading, staining, uneven printing or fabric damage.

Depending on the room lighting and viewing angle:

• The background may appear ivory, warm white, parchment or natural flax
• The textured areas may appear greige, pale taupe, mushroom or silver beige
• The geometric outlines may appear pewter, soft grey, charcoal grey or cool taupe
• The lightest woven areas may reflect the light and appear pearl white

The fabric should be viewed as a layered neutral textile rather than a completely flat or uniform colour.

Please remember that colours may appear slightly different depending on:

• Natural daylight
• Warm or cool artificial lighting
• The direction from which the fabric is viewed
• Nearby wall and furniture colours
• Screen brightness and colour calibration
• Photography and camera settings

PURE LINEN JACQUARD FABRIC

These curtains are made from thick and heavy pure linen jacquard fabric.

Jacquard fabric is created by weaving the pattern into the construction of the textile. The geometric design is therefore an integral part of the fabric rather than a surface print.

The woven construction provides:

• A substantial and luxurious drape
• A tactile geometric pattern
• Visible depth and dimension
• Natural tonal variation
• A softly structured appearance
• Rich folds when installed with suitable fullness
• Greater visual depth than a flat printed textile
• Beautiful interaction with changing daylight

The combination of the warm ivory ground, weathered silver-taupe texture and pewter geometric outlines creates an understated statement fabric. It adds pattern to a room without introducing a strong or difficult-to-coordinate colour.

When installed with generous fullness, the curtain forms deep folds that alternately reveal and conceal sections of the large geometric design. This gives the fabric a naturally changing appearance as the curtains are opened, closed or viewed from different angles.

Natural linen may contain occasional slubs, small yarn variations, fine thick-and-thin areas and subtle irregularities. These are normal characteristics of genuine linen fibres and should not be considered manufacturing defects.

FABRIC WEIGHT

The face fabric weighs 403 grams per linear metre at a fabric width of 54 inches.

A width of 54 inches is approximately 1.3716 metres.

The approximate conversion is:

403 grams ÷ 1.3716 square metres = approximately 294 grams per square metre

The pure linen jacquard face fabric therefore weighs approximately 294 GSM.

This substantial weight gives the curtains body and structure while preserving the natural movement and tactile character associated with linen.

Adding an organic cotton or blackout liner will make the completed curtains heavier, fuller and more structured.

SINGLE PANEL OR PAIR

These curtains can be ordered as:

• One single curtain panel
• A pair or set of two matching curtain panels

Please check the quantity option carefully before placing your order.

Selecting “Single Panel” provides one curtain in the selected width and height.

Selecting “Pair” or “Set of 2” provides two individual curtain panels, with each panel made in the selected width and height.

The selected width is the flat finished width of each individual curtain panel before gathering.

Examples:

• One 50-inch-wide panel provides 50 inches of flat curtain width
• A pair of 50-inch-wide panels provides 100 inches of combined flat width
• One 100-inch-wide panel provides 100 inches of flat curtain width
• A pair of 100-inch-wide panels provides 200 inches of combined flat width

Curtains occupy less horizontal space after they have been gathered or arranged into folds on a curtain rod or track.

AVAILABLE WIDTHS

The standard finished-width options are:

• 50 inches wide / approximately 127 cm per panel
• 100 inches wide / approximately 254 cm per panel

The width selected in the variation menu is the flat finished width of each individual curtain panel before gathering.

For example, selecting a pair of 50-inch-wide curtains provides two separate panels measuring 50 inches wide each, giving a total combined flat width of 100 inches.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT 100-INCH-WIDE CURTAINS

Every 100-inch-wide curtain panel will be made by joining two approximately 50-inch-wide fabric sections.

There will therefore be one carefully sewn vertical joining seam near the middle of each 100-inch-wide curtain panel.

The seam is generally barely visible once the curtain has been:

• Installed on the curtain rod or track
• Gathered into the appropriate fullness
• Arranged into natural folds
• Viewed from a normal distance

This construction method is necessary because the original pure linen jacquard fabric is woven in a limited loom width.

If you purchase one 100-inch-wide panel, that panel will contain one joining seam.

If you purchase a pair of 100-inch-wide panels, each individual panel will contain its own joining seam.

We will align the geometric design across the joined fabric widths as carefully as reasonably possible. However, exact pattern matching at the seam may vary according to the fabric repeat, finished measurements and selected heading style.

AVAILABLE HEIGHTS

Standard finished curtain heights are available from 36 inches to 180 inches in 12-inch increments:

• 36 inches / approximately 91 cm
• 48 inches / approximately 122 cm
• 60 inches / approximately 152 cm
• 72 inches / approximately 183 cm
• 84 inches / approximately 213 cm
• 96 inches / approximately 244 cm
• 108 inches / approximately 274 cm
• 120 inches / approximately 305 cm
• 132 inches / approximately 335 cm
• 144 inches / approximately 366 cm
• 156 inches / approximately 396 cm
• 168 inches / approximately 427 cm
• 180 inches / approximately 457 cm

The extra-long height options are ideal for:

• Floor-to-ceiling curtains
• Tall living-room windows
• High-ceiling bedrooms
• Double-height rooms
• Two-storey windows
• Loft apartments
• Large picture windows
• French doors
• Formal dining rooms
• Oversized custom window treatments
• Extra-long living-room drapes

CUSTOM CURTAIN SIZES

Custom widths and heights can also be made.

To order a customised size:

1. Measure the exact finished width and height required for each curtain panel.
2. Select the next available standard width and height larger than your required measurements.
3. Enter the exact finished measurements in the order details email.
4. Clearly state whether the measurements are in inches or centimetres.
5. Enter your required heading style.
6. Enter your required lining option.
7. Mention whether the order is for one panel or a pair.
8. Include any other important customisation requirements.

Example:

If each curtain panel needs to measure 46 inches wide by 90 inches high, select the 50-inch width and 96-inch height.

Enter the following in the order details email:

Finished size required: 46 inches wide × 90 inches high per panel
Quantity: Pair
Heading: Back Tabs
Lining: Organic Cotton Light Filtering

Please select the next available size up rather than a smaller option. The purchased size must provide enough fabric to make the exact required finished dimensions.

If your measurements fall between two available options, always select the larger option and enter the precise finished size in the order details email.

LINING OPTIONS

These pure linen jacquard curtains are available with three lining options:

1. Unlined
2. Organic Cotton Light-Filtering Lined
3. 100% Blackout OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Certified Polycotton Lined

Your selected lining option must be entered in the order details email when placing the order.

1. UNLINED CURTAINS

The unlined option preserves the natural movement, woven texture and softly filtered appearance of the pure linen jacquard fabric.

When unlined, the curtains provide semi-sheer privacy. They soften the view through the window while allowing natural daylight to filter gently into the room.

Although the linen jacquard fabric is thick and substantial, some light can pass through it when it is strongly backlit.

The precise level of transparency will depend on:

• The strength and direction of the sunlight
• The amount of curtain fullness
• Whether the curtains are viewed during the day or at night
• The brightness of the room behind the curtains
• Whether interior lights are switched on
• The distance between the curtains and the window

During daylight hours, the unlined curtains provide moderate privacy while keeping the room feeling naturally bright and open.

At night, particularly when interior lights are switched on, silhouettes or shadows may be visible from outside. A lined option is recommended where complete nighttime privacy is required.

Choose the unlined option when you prefer:

• The most natural linen appearance
• Softly filtered daylight
• A lighter completed curtain
• Semi-sheer privacy
• Decorative curtain panels
• Curtains layered with a blind or Roman shade
• A relaxed natural drape
• Maximum visibility of the jacquard texture

2. ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT-FILTERING LINER

The organic cotton light-filtering liner provides additional privacy, opacity, body and structure while still allowing softly diffused daylight into the room.

Adding the organic cotton liner makes the completed curtain completely opaque under normal viewing conditions. The main linen jacquard fabric will no longer appear semi-sheer.

The cotton lining also supports the substantial face fabric and helps the curtains form fuller and more structured folds.

The organic cotton lining:

• Makes the completed curtain opaque
• Provides greater daytime privacy
• Provides greater nighttime privacy
• Softens and diffuses incoming daylight
• Adds body and structure
• Supports the heavy jacquard fabric
• Creates fuller and more defined folds
• Reduces the visibility of shadows from outside
• Maintains a softly illuminated room

This lining is suitable for:

• Living rooms
• Dining rooms
• Bedrooms
• Guest rooms
• Nurseries
• Home offices
• Street-facing windows
• Rooms where privacy is important
• Spaces where natural daylight is still desired

Please note that the organic cotton liner is light filtering rather than blackout.

Daylight will continue to enter through the completed curtain, but it will be softened and diffused. Choose this option when you want an opaque privacy curtain without making the room completely dark.

3. 100% BLACKOUT OEKO-TEX CERTIFIED LINER

The blackout option uses a non-toxic OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified polycotton blackout liner composed of:

• 50% cotton
• 50% polyester

This specialised lining blocks light from passing through the body of the curtain and makes the completed curtain fully opaque.

The blackout option is recommended for:

• Bedrooms
• Nurseries
• Children’s rooms
• Guest bedrooms
• Media rooms
• Home cinemas
• Shift workers
• Street-facing windows
• Rooms receiving strong direct sunlight
• Spaces requiring maximum privacy
• Rooms where darkness is important for sleep

The blackout liner prevents light from passing through the curtain fabric itself.

A small amount of light may still enter around the top, sides, bottom or centre opening depending on the installation, curtain width and amount of overlap.

This is light entering around the curtains rather than passing through the blackout-lined fabric.

For the darkest possible result:

• Order generous curtain fullness
• Extend the rod or track beyond both sides of the window
• Install the rod or track above the top of the window frame
• Allow two curtain panels to overlap at the centre
• Select a length that fully covers the window
• Position the curtains close to the wall where practical
• Ensure the panels cover the entire window opening

AVAILABLE HEADING STYLES

Four heading styles are available:

1. Hooks Top
2. Back Tabs
3. Rod Pocket
4. Grommets

Your required heading style must be entered in the order details email when placing the order.

1. HOOKS TOP

The hooks-top heading is compatible with both curtain rods and curtain tracks.

For installation on a curtain rod, the curtain hooks can be attached to suitable rings fitted to the rod.

For installation on a curtain track, the hooks can be connected to the runners or gliders fitted to the track.

Hooks top is suitable for:

• Curtain tracks
• Decorative rods fitted with rings
• Ceiling-mounted tracks
• Wall-mounted tracks
• Curtains that need to open and close regularly
• Traditional interiors
• Contemporary interiors
• Large or tall windows

This is the most versatile heading option for customers who require compatibility with either a curtain track or a rod-and-ring arrangement.

2. BACK TABS

Back tabs are fabric loops sewn onto the reverse of the curtain heading.

The curtain rod passes through the concealed tabs, allowing most of the rod to remain hidden when viewed from the front.

Back-tab curtains create:

• Soft and evenly spaced folds
• A clean tailored appearance
• Minimal visible hardware
• A simple contemporary finish
• A gently structured drape

Back tabs are intended for installation on a curtain rod and cannot be attached directly to a standard curtain track.

3. ROD POCKET

A rod pocket is a sewn fabric channel running across the top of the curtain.

The curtain rod slides directly through the pocket, creating a softly gathered and relaxed appearance.

Rod-pocket curtains are particularly suitable for:

• Decorative curtain rods
• Living-room curtains
• Bedroom curtains
• Smaller windows
• Short curtain panels
• Layered window treatments
• Curtains that do not need to be opened frequently
• Custom cafe curtains

Please ensure that your curtain rod diameter is suitable for the rod-pocket opening.

4. GROMMETS

Grommets, also known as eyelets, are rings fitted across the top of the curtain.

The curtain rod passes directly through the grommets, creating broad and evenly spaced folds.

Grommet curtains provide:

• A clean contemporary appearance
• Deep wave-like folds
• Easy opening and closing
• Visible decorative hardware
• A modern window-treatment style

Grommet curtains require a curtain rod and cannot be attached directly to a standard curtain track.

Please ensure that your curtain rod diameter is compatible with the grommet opening.

CURTAIN FULLNESS

The selected width is the flat finished width of each curtain panel before gathering.

For an attractive gathered appearance, the combined flat width of the curtains should normally be wider than the usable width of the curtain rod or track.

As a general guide:

• Approximately 1.5 times fullness creates a relaxed contemporary appearance
• Approximately 2 times fullness creates deeper folds and a fuller, more luxurious appearance

Example for a 50-inch-wide curtain rod:

• One 50-inch-wide panel provides nearly flat coverage with minimal gathering
• A pair of 50-inch-wide panels provides 100 inches of combined flat width and approximately twice fullness

Example for a 100-inch-wide curtain rod:

• A pair of 100-inch-wide panels provides 200 inches of combined flat width and approximately twice fullness

Greater fullness creates deeper folds and allows the large ivory, greige and pewter geometric pattern to flow attractively across the window.

Lower fullness produces a flatter appearance and displays more complete sections of the elongated trellis design.

HOW TO MEASURE THE CURTAIN WIDTH

1. Measure the usable width of your curtain rod or track, excluding decorative finials.
2. Decide whether you prefer approximately 1.5 or 2 times fullness.
3. Multiply the usable rod or track width by your preferred fullness.
4. Divide the resulting total width by the number of curtain panels required.

Example:

Usable curtain rod width: 80 inches
Preferred fullness: 2 times
Recommended combined curtain width: approximately 160 inches

A pair of 100-inch-wide curtain panels would provide 200 inches of combined flat width and create generous fullness.

HOW TO MEASURE THE CURTAIN HEIGHT

Measure from the top of the installed curtain rod or track to where you want the curtains to end. For Hooks top only, subtract 1 in (2.54 cm) once from this measurement because the curtains hang slightly below the rod. Do not deduct or add an allowance for other heading styles.

The correct starting point depends on your selected heading:

• Hooks Top: Measure from the top of the installed curtain rod or track to where you want the curtains to end. For Hooks top only, subtract 1 in (2.54 cm) once from this measurement because the curtains hang slightly below the rod.
• Back Tabs: Measure from the top of the curtain rod
• Rod Pocket: Measure from the top of the curtain rod
• Grommets: Measure from the top of the installed curtain rod or track to where you want the curtains to end. Do not add an allowance above the eyelets.

Possible finished lengths include:

• Window-sill length
• Below-sill length
• Apron length
• Floor length
• Lightly touching the floor
• Slightly puddling on the floor

For floor-length curtains, take measurements at several points because curtain rods and floors may not be perfectly level.

CUSTOM CAFE CURTAINS

These pure linen jacquard curtain panels can also be custom made as cafe curtains, kitchen cafe curtains, half-window curtains or short privacy curtains.

Cafe curtains cover the lower section of a window while leaving the upper section open for natural daylight.

They are suitable for:

• Kitchen windows
• Breakfast rooms
• Dining areas
• Bathrooms
• Powder rooms
• Utility rooms
• Pantry windows
• Street-facing windows
• French doors
• Small decorative windows
• Lower-half window privacy

The soft ivory, pale greige, silver-taupe and pewter colour palette gives these cafe curtains a refined neutral appearance suitable for modern kitchens, contemporary bathrooms, calm dining spaces and natural-toned interiors.

Custom cafe curtains can be made with:

• Rod Pocket
• Back Tabs
• Hooks Top
• Grommets where suitable for the requested dimensions

They can be ordered:

• Unlined
• Organic cotton light-filtering lined
• Blackout lined

To order cafe curtains, select the next available standard size larger than your required finished dimensions and enter the exact cafe-curtain measurements in the order details email.

Example:

Cafe curtain size required: 42 inches wide × 30 inches high per panel
Quantity: Pair
Heading: Rod Pocket
Lining: Unlined

Please clearly state in the order details email that the panels are required as cafe curtains.

PATTERN PLACEMENT

The exact placement of the large geometric trellis may vary according to:

• Curtain width
• Curtain height
• Fabric repeat
• Heading construction
• Custom measurements
• The point from which the fabric is cut
• Whether the panel contains a joining seam

When making a pair, we will position the pattern as consistently as reasonably possible. However, exact mirror-image pattern placement cannot always be guaranteed.

The appearance of the geometric design will also change after the curtains are gathered.

Some elongated shapes will remain visible across the front of the folds, while other parts of the pattern will move into the valleys between the folds. This movement gives the woven design a naturally dimensional appearance.
