Ivory Greige Pure Linen Curtains, Blue Grey Botanical Leaf Embroidered Drapes, Custom Blackout or Light Filtering Panels
IVORY-GREIGE PURE LINEN CURTAINS WITH BLUE-GREY BOTANICAL LEAF EMBROIDERY
Bring graceful botanical detail, substantial natural linen and a calm designer colour palette to your windows with these luxurious custom-made embroidered curtain panels.
The thick and heavy pure linen face fabric has a warm ivory to pale natural-greige ground embellished with an intricate, layered botanical pattern.
Large tonal ivory-white branches and feathery leaf silhouettes flow softly across the background. Over this subtle foundation, finer branching stems and small leaves are embroidered in several complementary shades of dusty blue, powder blue, slate blue-grey, charcoal grey and soft taupe.
This combination creates a beautiful sense of depth. The large ivory foliage blends gently into the linen from across the room, while the raised blue-and-grey branches become more visible at closer range.
The coloured botanical design is genuinely embroidered onto the textile. It is not a flat printed imitation.
Each curtain is individually made to order and can be purchased as:
• One single curtain panel
• One pair/set of two curtain panels
Please check whether you have selected a single panel or a set of two before completing your order.
DETAILED COLOUR DESCRIPTION
The main pure linen ground is a softly warm neutral rather than bright optical white.
Depending on the room lighting, it may appear as:
• Warm ivory
• Natural off-white
• Pale greige
• Light oatmeal
• Soft flax
• Ivory beige
• Parchment
• Pale stone
• Light mushroom
• Natural linen
The ground contains subtle warm grey and beige undertones. It is lighter and more neutral than conventional tan or brown linen but warmer than stark white.
TONAL IVORY BOTANICAL BACKGROUND
The large background foliage is worked in closely related pale neutral shades, including:
• Soft ivory
• Warm white
• Natural cream
• Pale flax
• Chalk white
• Light oatmeal
• Silvery ivory
Because these background branches are close in colour to the linen ground, they create an understated tone-on-tone effect.
Some of the large leaves and feathery botanical forms are strongly visible, while others appear faded into the surrounding linen. This tonal variation gives the fabric depth without making the pattern feel overly busy.
BLUE AND GREY EMBROIDERY
The more prominent branching design combines:
• Dusty blue
• Powder blue
• Muted sky blue
• Slate blue
• Denim blue
• Steel blue
• Blue grey
• Charcoal grey
• Mushroom grey
• Warm taupe
• Soft greige
The brighter leaves are muted medium blue rather than vivid cobalt or turquoise. Some contain a slightly lighter powder-blue centre, while others use darker denim or slate-blue thread.
The stems and supporting leaves use grey, charcoal, taupe and mushroom-toned threads. These neutral branches balance the blue leaves and connect them visually to the ivory-greige linen background.
The strongest overall colour impression is:
WARM IVORY + PALE GREIGE + DUSTY BLUE + SLATE BLUE-GREY + SOFT TAUPE
The fabric does not have a strong green cast. Any blue-green appearance seen under particular lighting comes from the interaction of muted blue embroidery with the warm natural-linen ground.
Natural daylight generally makes the blue leaves appear clearer and fresher. Warm artificial lighting may emphasise the greige, taupe and oatmeal undertones.
Photography, room lighting, phone displays and monitor calibration can reproduce colours differently. If an exact colour match is important, we strongly recommend ordering a fabric swatch before purchasing finished curtains.
LAYERED BOTANICAL PATTERN
The pattern is an elegant arrangement of widely spreading botanical branches, slender stems, small leaves and pale feathery foliage.
The complete design includes:
• Large ivory-white leafy silhouettes
• Pale feathery branches
• Long, gently curving botanical stems
• Raised grey and taupe embroidered branches
• Small dusty-blue leaves
• Powder-blue leaf tips
• Darker slate and denim-blue accents
• Small grey and mushroom-coloured leaves
• Overlapping tonal foliage
• Generous areas of visible natural linen
The branches vary in direction and scale. Some extend diagonally upward, while others spread outward or curve gently across the fabric.
The small leaves are arranged individually along slender stems rather than forming dense floral bouquets. Their tapered oval and seed-like shapes give the pattern an airy wild-botanical appearance.
The design is botanical and leaf-based rather than a conventional rose, blossom or large floral print.
From across the room, the curtains read as elegant ivory-greige botanical drapes with soft blue-grey accents. At closer range, the layered foliage, individual embroidery stitches and natural linen weave become clearly visible.
The tonal background prevents the large-scale pattern from feeling visually heavy, while the blue embroidery gives the curtains enough definition to create a distinctive focal point.
GENUINE RAISED EMBROIDERY
The blue, grey and taupe botanical branches are embroidered directly onto the linen surface.
The close stitching creates:
• Clearly raised stems
• Tactile leaf shapes
• Visible thread direction
• Subtle stitch-density variations
• Defined botanical outlines
• Gentle highlights and shadows
• A dimensional handcrafted appearance
The embroidery is not printed, painted, glued or digitally reproduced.
The tonal ivory foliage uses a softer integrated textile construction, while the coloured foreground branches sit more prominently above the surface. This contrast gives the fabric its distinctive layered appearance.
THICK AND HEAVY PURE LINEN
These curtains are made from thick, heavy and luxurious pure linen face fabric.
The supplied face-fabric weight is:
403 grams per linear metre at 54 inches wide
A width of 54 inches equals approximately 1.3716 metres. Converted by surface area, the fabric weight is approximately:
294 GSM
This is a substantial curtain-weight linen rather than a lightweight linen gauze or voile.
The heavy linen provides:
• Substantial textile body
• Full and graceful vertical folds
• A premium custom-drapery appearance
• Better definition around the embroidery
• A structured yet naturally relaxed drape
• Beautiful depth on tall and extra-long curtains
• Greater visual presence than lightweight linen
Genuine linen naturally contains slubs, small yarn-thickness variations, woven irregularities and slight tonal changes. These characteristics are part of the natural textile and should not be treated as manufacturing faults.
LINING OPTIONS
Choose from three finishing options:
1. UNLINED – SEMI-SHEER PRIVACY CURTAINS
Without a liner, the pure linen curtains are naturally semi-sheer.
The substantial linen and layered embroidery soften incoming daylight while maintaining an airy, relaxed appearance. The fabric provides a useful degree of privacy during daylight, but silhouettes and shapes may remain visible when viewed from outside at night with the room lights switched on.
Choose unlined curtains if you prefer:
• Soft natural light
• A relaxed linen appearance
• Daytime privacy
• Semi-sheer window panels
• Maximum visibility of the natural drape
• Light and airy living-room curtains
• Decorative layered window treatments
Unlined curtains do not provide complete nighttime privacy or complete opacity.
2. ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT-FILTERING LINER
The organic cotton liner makes the curtains completely opaque and provides substantially increased privacy while still allowing softly filtered daylight into the room.
Choose the cotton liner if you require:
• Complete opacity
• Improved daytime and nighttime privacy
• Soft light filtering
• A natural cotton-backed finish
• Additional curtain body
• Reduced visibility of outside silhouettes
• Protection for the embroidered face fabric
The organic cotton liner is light filtering rather than blackout. It will soften incoming daylight but will not create complete darkness.
3. OEKO-TEX CERTIFIED 100% BLACKOUT LINER
The blackout option uses a non-toxic OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified polycotton liner.
The liner is designed to block light completely through the area covered by the curtain fabric.
Choose blackout lining for:
• Bedroom curtains
• Nursery curtains
• Children’s bedrooms
• Media rooms
• Shift workers
• Rooms receiving strong sunlight
• Maximum privacy
• Complete darkness through the covered fabric
• Blackout living-room panels
The blackout liner blocks light through the curtain itself. As with any curtain installation, small amounts of light may enter around the top, sides, bottom or centre opening depending on the selected fullness, heading style, hardware position and distance between the curtain and wall.
SINGLE CURTAIN OR PAIR
This listing allows you to order:
• One single curtain panel
• One pair/set of two curtain panels
All selected dimensions apply to each individual curtain panel.
For example:
A set of two curtains in the 50″ W × 96″ H option includes two separate curtain panels, each measuring approximately 50 inches wide by 96 inches high.
AVAILABLE WIDTHS
Standard finished-width choices per curtain:
• 50 inches wide – approximately 127 cm
• 100 inches wide – approximately 254 cm
IMPORTANT CONSTRUCTION INFORMATION FOR 100-INCH-WIDE CURTAINS
The face fabric is manufactured at approximately 54 inches wide.
A finished 100-inch-wide curtain must therefore be constructed by carefully joining two 50-inch fabric sections.
Each 100-inch-wide curtain will have one discreet vertical joining seam near the middle of the panel.
The botanical pattern will be matched and aligned as carefully as the available fabric permits. Once the curtain is installed and arranged into natural folds, the centre seam is barely visible.
The joining seam is a necessary construction feature of the 100-inch width and is not considered a defect.
AVAILABLE HEIGHTS
Standard finished-height options are available from 36 inches to 180 inches in 12-inch increments:
• 36″ – approximately 91 cm
• 48″ – approximately 122 cm
• 60″ – approximately 152 cm
• 72″ – approximately 183 cm
• 84″ – approximately 213 cm
• 96″ – approximately 244 cm
• 108″ – approximately 274 cm
• 120″ – approximately 305 cm
• 132″ – approximately 335 cm
• 144″ – approximately 366 cm
• 156″ – approximately 396 cm
• 168″ – approximately 427 cm
• 180″ – approximately 457 cm
The selected dimensions are the approximate finished dimensions of each curtain, not the amount of flat fabric used before sewing.

Please contact us before ordering if the custom size is wider or longer than the largest available option or if you need help calculating the correct number of panels.
HOW TO CHOOSE CURTAIN WIDTH
The listed width is the flat finished width of each panel before it is gathered onto the rod or track.
Curtains generally look best when their combined flat width is approximately 1.5 to 2 times the width of the rod, track or area being covered.
For example:
For a 100-inch-wide curtain rod, two 50-inch panels provide approximately one-times coverage and will appear relatively flat when closed.
For fuller folds, two 100-inch panels provide approximately twice the rod width and create a more luxurious gathered appearance.
The ideal fullness depends on your selected heading style, desired visual effect and whether the curtains will remain decorative or will regularly be opened and closed.
FOUR AVAILABLE HEADING STYLES
1. HOOKS TOP
Hooks are fitted along the reverse of the curtain heading.
Hooks-top curtains are:
• Compatible with curtain rods when used with curtain rings
• Compatible with curtain tracks
• Easy to open and close
• Suitable for traditional or contemporary interiors
• Designed to form attractive gathered folds
Curtain rings, tracks and rods are not included unless specifically stated.
2. BACK TABS
Fabric tabs are sewn discreetly onto the reverse of the curtain heading.
Back-tab curtains:
• Slide directly onto a curtain rod
• Conceal the tabs from the front
• Create soft and regular vertical folds
• Provide a clean, tailored appearance
• Do not require separate curtain rings
Back tabs are compatible with curtain rods rather than standard curtain tracks.

Rod-pocket curtains provide:
• Simple installation
• A softly gathered appearance
• Traditional cottage or farmhouse character
• No requirement for separate curtain rings
• An attractive finish for decorative curtain rods
Rod pockets are compatible with rods rather than standard tracks.

MADE TO ORDER
Every curtain is individually cut and sewn according to the selected dimensions, heading style and lining option.
Because the botanical pattern is large and organically arranged, exact motif placement will vary between curtain sizes and panels. A particular branch or leaf visible in the swatch may appear in a different position on the completed curtain.
When ordering a pair, we will coordinate the pattern placement as carefully as the available fabric permits. Exact mirror-image matching cannot be guaranteed because of the textile repeat and necessary cutting allowances.
Natural differences in embroidery placement are part of the made-to-order product and are not considered defects.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Professional dry cleaning is recommended.
Please:
• Do not machine wash
• Do not bleach
• Do not use harsh stain-removing chemicals
• Do not tumble dry
• Avoid prolonged soaking
• Use a cool iron on the reverse if necessary
• Do not place a hot iron directly onto the raised embroidery
• Steam gently from the reverse to release installation creases
Pure linen naturally creases and develops a relaxed surface. This is an inherent linen characteristic rather than a fault.
