Widths shown are flat fabric widths per curtain, before gathering or pleating.

Measure for your curtains

Enter your width and height together, then apply your measurements.

Size-dropdown widths are flat fabric widths per curtain.

A gathered curtain covers less space than its flat fabric width. Choose fullness below; Grommet/Eyelet and Pinch pleats always need 2× your coverage width.

This selection also updates Heading style on the product page.

Choose your fullness

Multiply the rod / track coverage by your fullness, then divide by the number of curtains.

Photorealistic fullness examples; actual folds vary with fabric and heading.

Measure the usable span of your installed rod or track, from one end of the curtain coverage to the other. Exclude decorative finials.

A pair contains two curtains. The flat fabric width you order is per curtain, not the combined pair. Choosing a curtain count here updates Panel quantity on the product page.

Enter the full measured drop. For Hooks top only, we subtract 1 in (2.54 cm) because the curtain hangs slightly below the rod. Do not deduct it yourself.

Finished curtain height to orderEnter the height you measured above.

Apply your measurements

We select the exact available flat-width × finished-height size, or the closest larger size fitting both dimensions. For a larger size, your exact request is added to Custom sizes / requirements, preserving your own notes. Your curtain-count choice also updates Panel quantity on the product page.

Review your heading and fullness before applying. This updates your selected size but does not add anything to your cart.

Measure the space your curtains will cover

Measure the usable span of your installed rod or track, from one end of the curtain coverage to the other. Exclude decorative finials.

Measure the usable rod or track span—not the window glass or decorative finials.

Example: a 100 in (254 cm) rod, two curtains and 2× fullness need 100 in (254 cm) flat width per curtain.

Flat fabric width before gathering or pleating—not the hanging coverage.

Measure from the top of the rod to your chosen bottom

Measure straight down from the top of your installed curtain rod to where you want the curtains to end. For a track, use the top of the installed track.

Start at the top of the rod or track. Stop at your chosen bottom.

Ivory Flax Linen Curtains, Beige Ogee Trellis Embroidered Drapes, Custom Blackout or Light Filtering Panels — image 1

Ivory Flax Linen Curtains, Beige Ogee Trellis Embroidered Drapes, Custom Blackout or Light Filtering Panels

Product description
Shipping & returns

Add understated texture, warm neutral colour, and distinctive artisan detail to your windows with these Ivory Flax linen curtains, handcrafted from thick and substantial pure linen fabric with dimensional embroidered detailing.

The manufacturer names this sophisticated neutral colourway Ivory Flax.

The linen ground has a softly textured ivory, natural off-white, and pale flax appearance rather than a bright optical white. Across the fabric is a vertically arranged embroidered design in layered flax beige, oatmeal, warm stone, light taupe, and soft sand tones.

The embroidery forms an elongated ogee trellis pattern made from gently angular, ribbon-like lines. The repeating lines widen and narrow to create tall open diamonds, elongated hourglass shapes, and interlocking geometric loops. Alternating light and darker embroidery along the edges gives the motif a subtle folded-ribbon effect and adds depth without making the curtains appear overly decorative.

From a distance, the pattern reads as an elegant neutral geometric lattice. At closer range, the raised embroidery, natural linen weave, tonal thread variation, and sculptural ribbon effect become more visible.

The quiet ivory-and-flax palette works especially well in neutral, organic modern, contemporary, transitional, minimalist, modern farmhouse, coastal, Scandinavian, Japandi, modern traditional, and relaxed luxury interiors.

These embroidered linen curtains are made to order and can be purchased as:

• One single curtain panel
• One pair or set of two curtain panels

Please select the required single-panel or set-of-two option carefully when ordering.

FABRIC COLOUR AND EMBROIDERED PATTERN

The main colours present in this Ivory Flax fabric are:

• Soft ivory
• Natural off-white
• Pale flax
• Oatmeal beige
• Warm sand
• Light mushroom taupe
• Subtle stone beige

The background is a gently textured ivory linen rather than a flat, brilliant white. Depending on the lighting, the linen may appear soft white, pale cream, natural ivory, or very light flax.

The embroidered motif is created using closely related beige and flax tones. Some portions appear lighter and creamier, while the shadowed edges appear warmer and slightly deeper. This tonal variation creates the impression of overlapping or twisting ribbons.

The pattern may be described as:

• Ogee trellis embroidery
• Geometric lattice embroidery
• Elongated diamond pattern
• Ribbon-style embroidery
• Chain-link geometric design
• Hourglass trellis pattern
• Neutral linear embroidery
• Modern abstract embroidery

The large open spaces within the motif keep the overall appearance light, balanced, and uncluttered. This makes the curtains suitable for rooms where a plain neutral curtain may feel too simple but a dense floral or multicoloured pattern may feel too busy.

Because the fabric is embroidered, the raised stitching provides visible texture and gentle shadowing as daylight moves across the curtain surface.

THICK AND HEAVY PURE LINEN

These curtains are made from thick, heavy, pure linen fabric with a substantial woven texture and dimensional embroidery.

The supplied fabric weight is 403 grams per linear metre. Based on a fabric width of 54 inches, this converts to approximately 294 GSM.

This substantial weight helps the curtains form elegant vertical folds while retaining the organic texture and relaxed movement associated with natural linen.

Natural linen commonly contains subtle slubs, yarn variations, occasional thicker fibres, and slight irregularities in the weave. These are inherent characteristics of genuine linen and contribute to its organic appearance rather than being considered manufacturing defects.

The curtains are carefully cut and sewn to preserve the vertical direction of the ogee trellis pattern.

LINING CHOICES

Three lining options are available:

1. Unlined
2. Organic cotton light-filtering lined
3. 100% blackout OEKO-TEX certified polycotton lined

Please enter the required lining option in the order details email.

UNLINED LINEN CURTAINS

The unlined option displays the natural linen texture and embroidery most clearly.

Because pure linen has a naturally open weave, these curtains are semi-sheer when unlined, particularly when strong sunlight is shining directly through them. They gently soften incoming daylight while maintaining a light and airy appearance.

Unlined curtains provide a degree of daytime privacy, but they should not be considered fully opaque. Silhouettes may be visible from outside at night when the room lights are switched on.

The unlined option is suitable for:

• Living rooms
• Dining rooms
• Sunrooms
• Home offices
• Decorative side panels
• Rooms with existing blinds or shades
• Windows where natural light is preferred
• Layering with shutters or another window covering

The embroidered sections are denser than the surrounding linen and will appear more prominent when backlit.

ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT-FILTERING LINING

Choose the organic cotton light-filtering liner when you would like greater privacy, additional body, and a more opaque finish without completely darkening the room.

The cotton lining reduces transparency and allows softer, diffused daylight to enter. It also helps the curtain pattern appear more consistent throughout the day by reducing strong backlighting through the linen.

With the organic cotton liner added, the curtains become substantially more opaque and are suitable for rooms requiring increased privacy.

This option works particularly well for:

• Living-room curtains
• Dining-room curtains
• Guest-bedroom curtains
• Home-office curtains
• Nursery curtains where complete darkness is unnecessary
• Street-facing windows
• Kitchen and breakfast-room curtains
• Rooms that should remain softly illuminated

The organic cotton liner is designed for light filtering and privacy. It is not a blackout liner.

100% BLACKOUT OEKO-TEX CERTIFIED LINING

For maximum light control and privacy, choose the 100% blackout lining option.

The blackout liner is an OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified polycotton fabric made from approximately 50% cotton and 50% polyester. The lining itself is designed to block incoming light completely and make the curtain opaque.

The blackout option is recommended for:

• Primary bedrooms
• Guest bedrooms
• Children’s bedrooms
• Nurseries
• Media rooms
• Home theatres
• Rooms affected by streetlights
• Daytime sleepers
• Night-shift workers
• Anyone who prefers a dark sleeping environment

Although the blackout liner blocks light through the curtain fabric, a small amount of light may still enter around the top, bottom, sides, or space between the panels depending on the installation.

For the darkest result, allow the curtains to extend beyond the window frame and choose sufficient total width so that the panels overlap generously when closed.

SINGLE CURTAIN OR PAIR OF CURTAINS

These curtains are available as either one individual curtain panel or a coordinated pair.

When ordering:

• Select “Single Curtain” to receive one panel.
• Select “Set of 2 Curtains” to receive two panels.

The width and length selected in the listing apply to each individual curtain panel unless the option specifically states otherwise.

For example, selecting a set of two curtains in the 50-inch-wide size provides two separate 50-inch-wide panels, creating a combined flat width of approximately 100 inches before gathering.

Please check the quantity and panel-selection options carefully before completing the order.

STANDARD WIDTH OPTIONS

The available standard finished widths are:

• 50 inches wide — approximately 127 cm
• 100 inches wide — approximately 254 cm

The stated width is the flat finished width of each individual curtain panel before the panel is gathered or arranged into folds.

For a soft, full appearance, the total combined curtain width should normally be wider than the curtain rod or track.

The appropriate fullness will depend on the chosen heading style and your preferred appearance. Rod-pocket curtains generally require more gathering, while grommet and back-tab curtains create broader folds.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR 100-INCH-WIDE PANELS

The base embroidered linen fabric is approximately 54 inches wide. A seamless 100-inch-wide curtain therefore cannot be produced from one continuous fabric width.

Every 100-inch-wide curtain panel will be made by professionally joining two approximately 50-inch-wide fabric sections.

This construction creates one vertical joining seam near the centre of the finished curtain.

The seam is carefully stitched and is generally barely visible once the curtain is installed, gathered, and arranged into natural folds. Its visibility is further reduced by the vertical direction and flowing shape of the embroidered pattern.

The centre seam is a necessary construction feature of the 100-inch-wide option and is not considered a defect.

STANDARD CURTAIN LENGTHS

Lengths are available from 36 inches to 180 inches in 12-inch increments:

• 36 inches — approximately 91 cm
• 48 inches — approximately 122 cm
• 60 inches — approximately 152 cm
• 72 inches — approximately 183 cm
• 84 inches — approximately 213 cm
• 96 inches — approximately 244 cm
• 108 inches — approximately 274 cm
• 120 inches — approximately 305 cm
• 132 inches — approximately 335 cm
• 144 inches — approximately 366 cm
• 156 inches — approximately 396 cm
• 168 inches — approximately 427 cm
• 180 inches — approximately 457 cm

The extensive length range makes these curtains suitable for:

• Standard windows
• Floor-length installations
• French doors
• Patio doors
• Bay windows
• Tall ceilings
• Floor-to-ceiling windows
• Loft apartments
• Double-height spaces
• Extra-long custom drapery installations

CUSTOM CURTAIN SIZES

Custom widths and lengths can also be made.

To order a customised measurement:

1. Determine the exact finished width and length required for each curtain panel.
2. Select the next larger standard size from the listing.
3. Enter the precise required finished measurements in the order details email.
4. Include the required heading style.
5. Include the required lining option.
6. Mention any other relevant custom instructions.

For example, when you require one curtain measuring 46 inches wide by 79 inches long, select the 50-inch width and 84-inch length. Then enter the exact required measurement of 46 inches wide by 79 inches long in the order details email.

Please select a standard listing size that is equal to or larger than your requested custom size. Do not select a smaller paid size.

Custom measurements should state whether they refer to each individual panel or the total combined width of the complete pair.

AVAILABLE HEADING STYLES

Four curtain heading styles are available:

• Hooks top
• Back tabs
• Rod pocket
• Grommets

Please enter the required heading style in the order details email.

HOOKS-TOP CURTAINS

Hooks-top curtains are finished with curtain heading tape sewn onto the back of the panel.

Curtain hooks can be inserted into the tape, making this heading compatible with both:

• Curtain rods or poles fitted with rings
• Ceiling-mounted or wall-mounted curtain tracks

This is a versatile option for buyers who already have a rod-and-ring system or a curtain track.

The finished appearance depends on the position of the hooks, the type of rings or track carriers used, and the amount of fullness selected.

Curtain hooks, rings, rods, and tracks are not included unless specifically stated.

BACK-TAB CURTAINS

Back tabs are fabric loops sewn discreetly onto the rear of the curtain heading.

The rod passes through the hidden tabs, allowing the curtain to hang with a clean front surface and soft, structured folds. Because the loops are positioned behind the panel, the curtain rod remains partially concealed.

Back tabs are well suited to:

• Modern interiors
• Transitional interiors
• Organic-modern rooms
• Minimalist spaces
• Decorative rods
• Curtains that are opened less frequently

Back-tab curtains are intended for installation on a curtain rod rather than a curtain track.

ROD-POCKET CURTAINS

A fabric channel is sewn across the top of the curtain panel, and the curtain rod slides directly through the pocket.

Rod-pocket curtains create a soft, gathered, relaxed appearance and complement the natural texture of the embroidered linen.

They work particularly well in:

• Bedrooms
• Guest rooms
• Kitchens
• Breakfast nooks
• Cottage-style interiors
• Decorative window installations
• Café-curtain applications

Please ensure that the rod diameter is compatible with the rod pocket before ordering.

GROMMET CURTAINS

Metal grommets or eyelets are installed across the top of the curtain.

The curtain rod passes directly through the grommets, creating evenly spaced waves and allowing the panel to move smoothly across the rod.

Grommets give the neutral linen fabric a clean and contemporary finish and are suitable for:

• Modern living rooms
• Bedrooms
• Dining rooms
• Home offices
• Wide windows
• Patio doors

Grommet curtains require a curtain rod and are not compatible with a standard curtain track.

Please mention any preferred grommet colour or finish in the order details email. Availability may depend on current hardware stock.

INFORMATION REQUIRED IN THE order details email

Please provide:

• Exact finished width required for each panel
• Exact finished length required for each panel
• Heading style: Hooks Top, Back Tabs, Rod Pocket, or Grommets
• Lining choice: Unlined, Organic Cotton Light Filtering, or 100% Blackout
• Single curtain or set of two, where clarification is required
• Any relevant custom instructions

Incomplete personalization details may delay production while clarification is requested.

MEASURING THE WIDTH

Measure the complete usable width of the installed curtain rod or track rather than only the width of the glass.

Curtains generally look more luxurious when their combined flat width is greater than the width of the rod or track.

As an example, two 50-inch-wide panels provide a combined flat width of approximately 100 inches. When installed on a 60-inch rod, this allows the fabric to form attractive folds rather than hanging completely flat.

The amount of fullness required depends on the selected heading and the desired appearance.

MEASURING THE LENGTH

Measure from the exact position at which the top of the finished curtain will sit.

For hooks-top curtains, consider the position of the curtain hook, ring, or track carrier.

For back-tab, rod-pocket, and grommet curtains, measure from the rod while accounting for how the selected heading sits above or below it.

Measure down to the preferred finishing point:

• At the windowsill
• Slightly below the sill
• At the apron
• Just above the floor
• Lightly touching the floor
• With a small break on the floor
• With a decorative puddle

Measurements should be checked after the curtain rod or track has been installed whenever possible.

CAFÉ CURTAINS AND SHORT WINDOW CURTAINS

This embroidered Ivory Flax fabric can also be made into café curtains, kitchen curtains, short curtain panels, tier curtains, half-window curtains, bathroom curtains, pantry curtains, laundry-room curtains, breakfast-nook curtains, or small-window curtains.

The pale ivory background and neutral flax embroidery make the fabric especially suitable for rooms where privacy is required without covering the entire window.

Custom café curtains can be ordered by selecting the next larger listed size and entering the exact finished measurements in the order details email.

Please also state the heading style and lining choice required for the café curtains.

SUITABLE INTERIOR STYLES

The understated geometric embroidery coordinates beautifully with:

• Organic-modern décor

• Modern farmhouse spaces
• Scandinavian décor
• Japandi interiors
• Coastal-neutral rooms
• Modern traditional homes
• French contemporary décor
• Quiet luxury interiors
• Natural and earthy colour schemes

The curtains pair especially well with warm white walls, ivory upholstery, oatmeal textiles, pale oak, natural walnut, stone, travertine, rattan, cane, brushed brass, matte black, warm grey, taupe, camel, and muted beige furnishings.

SUITABLE ROOMS

These neutral embroidered curtains can be used as:

• Living-room curtains
• Bedroom curtains
• Dining-room drapes
• Guest-room curtains
• Nursery curtains
• Home-office curtains
• Family-room window panels
• Kitchen curtains
• Café curtains
• Bathroom curtains
• French-door curtains

COLOUR ACCURACY

The manufacturer’s colourway name is Ivory Flax.

The exact appearance may vary according to:

• Natural daylight
• Warm or cool artificial lighting
• Surrounding wall colours
• Device and monitor settings
• Photography conditions
• Whether the curtain is lined or unlined

The ivory base may appear slightly whiter in bright daylight and warmer or creamier under indoor lighting. The embroidered flax tones may appear beige, taupe, oatmeal, sand, or light mushroom depending on the surrounding décor.

A fabric sample is recommended when an exact colour match is essential.

PATTERN PLACEMENT AND HANDMADE CHARACTERISTICS

The exact placement of the embroidered motif may differ slightly between panels because each curtain is individually cut from a continuous roll of patterned fabric.

For pairs, the panels will be prepared to create a visually balanced overall appearance. However, perfectly identical motif placement cannot always be guaranteed.

Slight variations in embroidery, linen yarn thickness, weave texture, stitching, and pattern position are normal characteristics of a handmade product made from natural linen.
