STEP 1 — WIDTH

Measure the exact internal width of the recess at the TOP where the Roman blind will be fitted.

STEP 2 — HEIGHT

Measure the exact internal height from the top of the recess to the bottom of the required blind position.

HOW TO MEASURE — OUTSIDE RECESS / OUTSIDE MOUNT

An outside-recess Roman shade is fitted over the window opening.

This method provides additional coverage around the window and can help reduce edge light with blackout lining.

STEP 1 — MEASURE THE WINDOW WIDTH

Measure the width of your window or window frame.

STEP 2 — ADD SIDE OVERLAP

Where sufficient wall space is available, add approximately:

2 inches / 5 cm on the LEFT

and

2 inches / 5 cm on the RIGHT.

This adds approximately:

4 inches / 10 cm

to the total width.

EXAMPLE

Window width:

36 inches / 91.4 cm

Add approximately:

2 inches / 5 cm on each side

Suggested finished Roman blind width:

This is a cord-operated Roman blind.

When fully lowered, the road-map and vehicle design is displayed across the face of the shade.
