HOW TO MEASURE — INSIDE RECESS / INSIDE MOUNT

An inside-recess Roman blind fits within the window opening for a clean, integrated appearance.

STEP 1 — WIDTH

Measure the exact internal width of the recess at the TOP, where the Roman shade will be installed.

Also check the middle and bottom of the recess if the window is not perfectly square.

Enter the exact recess width.

Please do not make your own manufacturing deduction unless specifically instructed by us.

STEP 2 — HEIGHT

Measure the exact internal height of the recess from the upper installation point to the bottom of the window opening.

If necessary, measure the left, centre and right sides to check whether the opening is level.

Locks do not obstruct the blind

HOW TO MEASURE — OUTSIDE RECESS / OUTSIDE MOUNT

An outside-recess Roman shade is installed over the window opening rather than inside it.

This provides greater coverage around the window.

STEP 1 — MEASURE THE WINDOW WIDTH

Measure the width of the window or window frame.

STEP 2 — ADD SIDE OVERLAP

Where sufficient wall space is available, add approximately:

2 inches / 5 cm to the LEFT

and

2 inches / 5 cm to the RIGHT.

This adds approximately:

4 inches / 10 cm

to the total width.

EXAMPLE
