Measure for your curtains

Enter your width and height together, then apply your measurements.

Size-dropdown widths are flat fabric widths per curtain.

A gathered curtain covers less space than its flat fabric width. Choose fullness below; Grommet/Eyelet and Pinch pleats always need 2× your coverage width.

This selection also updates Heading style on the product page.

Choose your fullness

Multiply the rod / track coverage by your fullness, then divide by the number of curtains.

Photorealistic fullness examples; actual folds vary with fabric and heading.

Measure the usable span of your installed rod or track, from one end of the curtain coverage to the other. Exclude decorative finials.

A pair contains two curtains. The flat fabric width you order is per curtain, not the combined pair. Choosing a curtain count here updates Panel quantity on the product page.

Enter the full measured drop. For Hooks top only, we subtract 1 in (2.54 cm) because the curtain hangs slightly below the rod. Do not deduct it yourself.

Finished curtain height to orderEnter the height you measured above.

Apply your measurements

We select the exact available flat-width × finished-height size, or the closest larger size fitting both dimensions. For a larger size, your exact request is added to Custom sizes / requirements, preserving your own notes. Your curtain-count choice also updates Panel quantity on the product page.

Review your heading and fullness before applying. This updates your selected size but does not add anything to your cart.

How to measure · illustrations and examples

Measure the space your curtains will cover

Measure the usable span of your installed rod or track, from one end of the curtain coverage to the other. Exclude decorative finials.

Measure the usable rod or track span—not the window glass or decorative finials.

Example: a 100 in (254 cm) rod, two curtains and 2× fullness need 100 in (254 cm) flat width per curtain.

Flat fabric width before gathering or pleating—not the hanging coverage.

Measure from the top of the rod to your chosen bottom

Measure straight down from the top of your installed curtain rod to where you want the curtains to end. For a track, use the top of the installed track.

Start at the top of the rod or track. Stop at your chosen bottom.

OATMEAL, CAMEL & RUST COLOR BLOCK HEAVY LINEN CURTAINS

Create a warm, distinctive window treatment with these thick and heavy linen curtains featuring a sophisticated three-tone full-panel colour-block design in natural oatmeal, muted camel beige and rich rust terracotta.

IMPORTANT FULL-PANEL DESIGN NOTE

The fabric swatch represents a MINIATURE VERSION OF ONE COMPLETE CURTAIN PANEL.

It should not be interpreted as an ordinary repeating fabric swatch.

The finished curtain is designed as one continuous top-to-bottom colour composition:

PALE OATMEAL / NATURAL FLAX
at the top

↓

CAMEL / SAND / WARM TAN
through the middle

↓

RUST / TERRACOTTA / CINNAMON BROWN
towards the bottom.

The colour sequence occurs ONCE across the height of the curtain.

It does not restart repeatedly down the panel.

This is therefore a large-scale COLOR BLOCK curtain design rather than conventional repeating striped fabric.

Available as:

• SINGLE CURTAIN PANEL — 1 finished curtain

or

• PAIR / SET OF 2 — 2 matching finished curtains

Choose from three light-control options:

• Unlined
• Organic cotton light-filtering liner
• OEKO-TEX certified 100% blackout polycotton liner

Standard finished widths are available in 50 inches and 100 inches per curtain.

Standard finished lengths range from 36 inches to 180 inches in 12-inch increments.

Custom finished sizes are also available.

COLOR DESCRIPTION

This curtain combines three closely related warm earthy neutrals.

UPPER SECTION — NATURAL OATMEAL / PALE FLAX

The upper portion is the lightest area of the curtain.

It reads as a soft warm natural tone rather than stark white.

Depending on surrounding lighting and furnishings, this section may appear as:

• Natural oatmeal
• Pale flax
• Warm ivory beige
• Light natural linen
• Creamy oatmeal
• Soft wheat-beige

The subtle woven variations prevent the colour from appearing completely flat or artificial.

MIDDLE SECTION — CAMEL / SAND / WARM TAN

The broad central section becomes warmer and richer.

It reads as:

• Muted camel
• Sandy beige
• Warm tan
• Golden oatmeal
• Wheat
• Khaki beige
• Soft ochre-beige

The colour remains earthy and muted rather than bright yellow or strongly mustard.

This central camel-sand section acts as a natural bridge between the pale oatmeal upper portion and the much deeper rust base.

LOWER SECTION — RUST / TERRACOTTA / CINNAMON BROWN

The bottom portion is the richest and darkest section of the curtain.

It reads as:

• Rust
• Terracotta
• Cinnamon brown
• Burnt orange-brown
• Warm clay
• Coppery brown
• Burnished earth tone

The colour is deeper and browner than a bright orange.

It has the warm earthy character associated with terracotta, clay, cinnamon and oxidised rust tones.

This darker lower section visually anchors the curtain close to the floor while allowing the upper part of the window to remain lighter.

COMPLETE COLOR SEQUENCE

Each curtain follows one intentional visual progression:

NATURAL OATMEAL / PALE FLAX
↓
CAMEL / SAND / WARM TAN
↓
RUST / TERRACOTTA / CINNAMON

The design becomes progressively deeper and warmer towards the bottom.

This creates a highly distinctive full-length curtain without requiring a busy floral, geometric or small-scale printed pattern.

NOT A REPEATING STRIPE

This distinction is important.

The curtain does NOT contain repeated groups of oatmeal, camel and rust stripes.

The colour fields are large because the reference represents one complete curtain composition.

There should be one oatmeal upper region, one broad camel middle region and one rust lower region.

The colour sequence does not restart halfway down the curtain.

The result is closer to architectural colour blocking than traditional horizontally striped curtains.

SOFT WOVEN TRANSITIONS

The colour boundaries retain the organic character of the textile.

The transition into the rust/terracotta lower section is especially distinctive.

Rather than forming a perfectly straight digitally printed line, the deeper rust yarns rise subtly and irregularly into the lighter camel section.

This creates a softly feathered woven transition.

The slight variation along this boundary is intentional and contributes to the handcrafted textile appearance.

THICK & HEAVY LINEN

The face fabric weighs approximately 294 GSM.

This figure is calculated from a specified weight of 403 grams per linear metre at approximately 54 inches / 137.16 cm fabric width.

At approximately 294 GSM, this is a substantial furnishing-weight linen fabric rather than an extremely lightweight linen voile.

The substantial construction provides:

• Beautiful body
• Deep vertical folds
• A weighty drape
• Visible woven texture
• Natural yarn character
• Excellent presence on large windows
• Greater privacy than very lightweight linen
• A luxurious custom-drapery appearance

The surface naturally displays the subtle slubs, tonal variations and small yarn irregularities associated with woven linen.

These variations are part of the textile's natural character rather than defects.

WHY THIS COLOR BLOCK DESIGN IS DISTINCTIVE

Many neutral linen curtains are completely solid.

This fabric retains the versatility of neutral linen while adding a dramatic but understated large-scale colour progression.

From across the room, the curtains appear warm, architectural and contemporary.

At closer range, the woven texture and subtle colour variation become more noticeable.

The pale oatmeal upper portion helps keep the window visually light.

The camel middle introduces warmth.

The rust terracotta lower portion gives the curtain depth and grounds it visually near the floor.

This makes the fabric especially effective on full-length and extra-long curtains.

SINGLE CURTAIN OR PAIR / SET OF 2

Choose either:

SINGLE CURTAIN
1 finished curtain panel

or

PAIR / SET OF 2
2 matching finished curtain panels

IMPORTANT:

The width selected from the listing is the width of EACH INDIVIDUAL CURTAIN PANEL.

EXAMPLE — PAIR OF 50-INCH CURTAINS

You receive:

2 × 50-inch-wide curtains

Combined flat fabric width:

100 inches / approximately 254 cm

EXAMPLE — PAIR OF 100-INCH CURTAINS

You receive:

2 × 100-inch-wide curtains

Combined flat fabric width:

200 inches / approximately 508 cm

CURTAIN FULLNESS

Flat fabric width and installed coverage are not the same.

Curtains need additional width to form attractive gathers and folds.

If a highly full gathered appearance is desired, please allow sufficient total curtain width relative to your rod, track or window width.

THREE LINING OPTIONS

1. UNLINED — SEMI-SHEER PRIVACY CURTAINS

Choose the unlined option when you want the most natural expression of the linen fabric.

Although this is a thick and substantial textile, the unlined curtain retains some natural translucency when strongly backlit.

The unlined version provides:

• Soft filtered daylight
• Semi-sheer privacy
• Natural linen appearance
• Visible woven texture
• Natural movement
• Useful daytime privacy

It should not be considered completely opaque.

If the room is brightly illuminated at night, some silhouettes may be visible from outside depending on lighting conditions.

This is an excellent option for living rooms, dining rooms and other spaces where natural light is desirable.

2. ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT-FILTERING LINER

Choose the organic cotton liner when complete opacity and additional privacy are required while still allowing soft daylight into the room.

The organic cotton liner:

• Makes the curtain completely opaque
• Provides considerably greater privacy
• Prevents a direct view through the curtain
• Softly filters incoming daylight
• Adds body and structure
• Keeps the room brighter than blackout lining

This option is particularly suitable for:

• Living rooms
• Bedrooms
• Dining rooms
• Home offices
• Street-facing windows
• Family rooms

The liner remains concealed behind the decorative face fabric.

3. OEKO-TEX CERTIFIED 100% BLACKOUT POLYCOTTON LINER

Choose the blackout option when maximum light control is required.

The OEKO-TEX certified 100% blackout polycotton liner prevents light from travelling through the lined curtain fabric.

It provides:

• Complete opacity
• Maximum privacy
• Complete light blocking through the fabric
• Excellent bedroom light control

Particularly suitable for:

• Bedrooms
• Nurseries
• Daytime sleeping
• Media rooms
• Brightly exposed windows
• Street-facing rooms
• Rooms requiring maximum privacy

IMPORTANT BLACKOUT NOTE

The blackout liner blocks light completely THROUGH the curtain itself.

Complete darkness throughout an entire room also depends on installation.

Light may still enter around:

• The outer sides of the curtains
• Above the rod or track
• Below the finished hem
• Between two panels if they do not overlap sufficiently

For maximum room darkening, use generous curtain fullness and minimise installation gaps.

STANDARD CURTAIN WIDTHS

Finished width PER CURTAIN:

• 50 inches / approximately 127 cm
• 100 inches / approximately 254 cm

IMPORTANT — 100-INCH-WIDE CURTAINS

Each 100-inch-wide curtain is produced by joining two approximately 50-inch-wide fabric sections.

There will therefore be one professionally sewn vertical joining seam in each 100-inch-wide curtain.

The seam is carefully constructed and becomes barely visible after the curtain has been:

• Installed
• Gathered
• Arranged into its natural folds
• Viewed normally within the room

The curtain's vertical folds naturally help disguise the joining seam.

If a PAIR of 100-inch curtains is ordered, each individual 100-inch panel will contain its own joining seam.

STANDARD LENGTH OPTIONS

Available finished lengths are:

• 36 inches / 91.4 cm
• 48 inches / 121.9 cm
• 60 inches / 152.4 cm
• 72 inches / 182.9 cm
• 84 inches / 213.4 cm
• 96 inches / 243.8 cm
• 108 inches / 274.3 cm
• 120 inches / 304.8 cm
• 132 inches / 335.3 cm
• 144 inches / 365.8 cm
• 156 inches / 396.2 cm
• 168 inches / 426.7 cm
• 180 inches / 457.2 cm

The standard length range therefore extends from 36 inches to 180 inches in 12-inch increments.

EXTRA LONG CURTAINS

With standard finished lengths extending to 180 inches / 457.2 cm, these curtains are particularly well suited to tall architectural windows.

Extra-long curtains work beautifully for:

• High ceilings
• Floor-to-ceiling windows
• Double-height living rooms
• Two-storey spaces
• Large bedrooms
• Tall dining rooms
• Oversized architectural windows

The full-panel oatmeal-to-rust colour composition is especially striking on tall curtains because the complete progression can be appreciated across the entire height.

EXTRA WIDE CURTAINS

The 100-inch / 254 cm finished-width option provides substantial coverage for wide windows, large rods and curtain tracks.

Remember that each 100-inch-wide curtain contains one vertical joining seam because it is constructed by joining two approximately 50-inch-wide sections.

This seam is barely noticeable after installation and gathering.

FOUR HEADING STYLES

1. HOOKS TOP

Hooks Top is compatible with BOTH:

• Curtain rods
• Curtain tracks

With a rod, the hooks attach to appropriate curtain rings.

With a track, they can be used with suitable track gliders or carriers.

This makes Hooks Top a particularly versatile option.

2. BACK TABS

Fabric tabs are sewn discreetly onto the reverse of the curtain heading.

The curtain rod passes through the concealed tabs.

Back tabs create:

• Clean vertical folds
• Minimal visible hardware
• A tailored appearance
• Neat, regular gathering

The clean folds are especially effective with the large-scale three-tone colour-block design.

3. ROD POCKET

A sewn fabric channel runs across the upper edge.

The curtain rod passes directly through this pocket.

Rod-pocket curtains create a classic softly gathered appearance.

This heading works particularly well for decorative curtains or windows where the panels do not need to be opened and closed constantly.

4. GROMMETS

Metal grommets / eyelets are installed across the curtain heading.

The rod passes directly through the grommets.

This creates:

• Regular vertical folds
• Easy installation
• Smooth operation
• A clean contemporary appearance

RUST & TERRACOTTA CURTAINS FOR EARTHY INTERIORS

The combination of oatmeal, camel and rust works particularly well in warm natural interiors.

It coordinates beautifully with:

• Warm white walls
• Cream
• Beige
• Oatmeal
• Greige
• Camel
• Tan
• Terracotta
• Rust
• Natural oak
• White oak
• Walnut
• Dark-stained wood
• Brown leather
• Travertine
• Limestone
• Marble
• Natural stone
• Rattan
• Cane
• Jute
• Antique brass
• Bronze
• Black metal accents

The deeper terracotta base can coordinate beautifully with rust-coloured cushions, pottery, warm wood floors, leather furniture and other earthy accents without making the entire curtain appear dark.

INTERIOR STYLES

These three-tone linen curtains are particularly suited to:

• Organic modern interiors
• Warm minimalism
• Earthy contemporary interiors
• Modern farmhouse homes
• Japandi-inspired spaces
• Wabi-sabi interiors
• Rustic-modern rooms
• Bohemian neutral interiors
• Southwestern-inspired interiors
• Mediterranean-inspired spaces
• Earth-tone bedrooms
• Neutral living rooms
• Relaxed luxury interiors
• Contemporary homes

The broad areas of colour provide visual interest without the busyness of a conventional print.

SEMI-SHEER PRIVACY CURTAINS

When ordered unlined, the substantial linen works beautifully as a semi-sheer privacy curtain.

It allows natural daylight to soften through the textile while still providing considerably more visual substance than lightweight voile.

Choose organic cotton lining when complete opacity is preferred.

Choose blackout lining when complete light blocking through the curtain fabric is required.

CAFE CURTAINS AVAILABLE

We can also make custom CAFE CURTAINS using this same linen fabric.

Cafe curtains are particularly suitable for:

• Kitchen windows
• Breakfast nooks
• Bathroom windows
• Laundry rooms
• Pantry windows
• Small windows
• Half-window privacy
• Cabinet curtains
• Alcove curtains

If you require cafe curtains, select the next available size up that accommodates your exact finished dimensions and enter the required Width × Height in the order details email.
