Widths shown are flat fabric widths per curtain, before gathering or pleating.

Measure for your curtains

Enter your width and height together, then apply your measurements.

Size-dropdown widths are flat fabric widths per curtain.

A gathered curtain covers less space than its flat fabric width. Choose fullness below; Grommet/Eyelet and Pinch pleats always need 2× your coverage width.

This selection also updates Heading style on the product page.

Choose your fullness

Multiply the rod / track coverage by your fullness, then divide by the number of curtains.

Photorealistic fullness examples; actual folds vary with fabric and heading.

Measure the usable span of your installed rod or track, from one end of the curtain coverage to the other. Exclude decorative finials.

A pair contains two curtains. The flat fabric width you order is per curtain, not the combined pair. Choosing a curtain count here updates Panel quantity on the product page.

Enter the full measured drop. For Hooks top only, we subtract 1 in (2.54 cm) because the curtain hangs slightly below the rod. Do not deduct it yourself.

Flat fabric width to order per curtainEnter your total coverage width above.
Finished curtain height to orderEnter the height you measured above.

Apply your measurements

We select the exact available flat-width × finished-height size, or the closest larger size fitting both dimensions. For a larger size, your exact request is added to Custom sizes / requirements, preserving your own notes. Your curtain-count choice also updates Panel quantity on the product page.

Review your heading and fullness before applying. This updates your selected size but does not add anything to your cart.

Measure the space your curtains will cover

Measure the usable span of your installed rod or track, from one end of the curtain coverage to the other. Exclude decorative finials.

Measure the usable rod or track span—not the window glass or decorative finials.

Example: a 100 in (254 cm) rod, two curtains and 2× fullness need 100 in (254 cm) flat width per curtain.

Flat fabric width before gathering or pleating—not the hanging coverage.

Measure from the top of the rod to your chosen bottom

Measure straight down from the top of your installed curtain rod to where you want the curtains to end. For a track, use the top of the installed track.

Start at the top of the rod or track. Stop at your chosen bottom.

Gray Linen Curtains, Ivory Jacobean Floral Embroidered Drapes, Custom Blackout Bedroom & Living Room Panels — image 1

Gray Linen Curtains, Ivory Jacobean Floral Embroidered Drapes, Custom Blackout Bedroom & Living Room Panels

Product description
Shipping & returns

Bring timeless botanical detail, sophisticated neutral color and the rich natural texture of linen into your home with these gray linen curtains, handmade from thick and heavy pure linen embroidered fabric. The medium gray linen background is decorated with intricate ivory floral embroidery, creating an elegant custom window treatment inspired by traditional Jacobean textiles, vintage botanical drawings and relaxed European country interiors.

The linen base is best described as a medium gray with stone gray, dove gray and subtle charcoal-gray undertones. It is deeper and more defined than pale silver gray, but softer and more versatile than dark charcoal. The visible crosswoven linen texture gives the gray color natural tonal variation, helping the curtains feel organic and dimensional rather than flat or synthetic.

The embroidery is worked in soft ivory and warm off-white thread. It creates a clear but gentle contrast against the gray background without appearing stark or overly bright. The slightly raised embroidery adds visible depth and texture, allowing the botanical design to remain noticeable both from across the room and at close range.

The pattern features large ornamental Jacobean-inspired flowers, rounded rosette blooms, thistle- and pinecone-like floral forms, scrolling vines, small blossoms, outlined leaves, fern-shaped foliage and gracefully curving botanical stems. The design moves freely across the fabric rather than appearing in rigid rows, creating the appearance of a hand-drawn heritage textile.

The large decorative blooms include beautifully detailed sections of striped stitching, scalloped forms, leaf-like fills and fine outlined petals. Smaller flowers and foliage are spaced between the larger motifs, giving the pattern balance and allowing areas of the textured gray linen to remain visible.

From a distance, the curtains create an elegant gray-and-ivory botanical impression. At closer range, the detailed embroidery reveals individual leaves, petals, stitched outlines, textural fills and delicate vine work. This makes the curtains decorative enough to become a focal point while remaining neutral enough for everyday interior styling.

These embroidered linen curtains are ideal for vintage, English country, French country, cottage, farmhouse, grandmillennial, traditional, botanical, transitional and softly rustic interiors. Their neutral palette also works beautifully in modern homes where natural materials and understated patterns are used to soften clean architectural lines.

The gray and ivory colors coordinate especially well with:

Warm white or ivory walls

Cream and oatmeal upholstery

Natural oak and walnut furniture

Black metal curtain rods

Antique brass or brushed gold hardware

Charcoal and pale gray accents

Sage green and muted blue decor

Natural rattan and cane furniture

Jute and wool rugs

Stone, marble and ceramic accessories

Use these panels as living room curtains, bedroom curtains, dining room drapes, kitchen curtains, guest room curtains, home-office curtains, nursery curtains or decorative window panels for a library, sitting room, dressing room or sunroom.

FABRIC DETAILS

Material: Thick and heavy pure linen embroidered fabric

Base color: Medium gray, stone gray and dove gray with subtle charcoal undertones

Embroidery color: Ivory, warm white and soft off-white

Pattern: Jacobean-inspired floral vine with ornamental blossoms, rosettes, fern-like leaves, outlined foliage, scrolling stems and large botanical motifs

Fabric weight: Approximately 294 GSM

The approximate fabric weight of 294 GSM has been converted from the supplied weight of 403 grams per linear meter for fabric measuring 54 inches wide.

This substantial embroidered linen is significantly heavier and richer than lightweight sheer linen. It has a visible woven surface, excellent body and a naturally elegant fall. Once installed, the fabric forms deep folds while retaining the relaxed and slightly organic character associated with genuine linen.

The raised embroidery adds additional texture, weight and structure. In natural daylight, the ivory botanical motifs appear brighter and more defined. In softer evening light, the embroidery becomes more subtle and creates a layered tonal effect against the gray base.

HEADING STYLE OPTIONS

HOOKS TOP

The hooks-top heading is compatible with both curtain rods and curtain tracks.

Curtain hooks can be attached to rings on a rod or inserted into compatible runners or gliders on a curtain track. This option provides a tailored and versatile appearance and is particularly practical when the curtains will be opened and closed frequently.

The hooks are positioned behind the heading, helping the embroidered front remain clean and uninterrupted.

BACK TABS

Fabric tabs are sewn discreetly behind the top of the curtain. The rod passes through these hidden tabs, so no loops are visible from the front.

Back tabs produce soft, structured folds and a clean heading. They work especially well in farmhouse, cottage, transitional, botanical and relaxed traditional rooms.

ROD POCKET

A fabric channel is sewn across the curtain heading so the rod can pass directly through it.

Rod-pocket curtains create a softly gathered appearance and are particularly suitable for bedrooms, kitchens, nurseries, cottage interiors and decorative windows where the curtains will not need to slide frequently.

GROMMETS

Metal eyelets are fitted across the curtain heading, allowing the rod to pass directly through the grommets.

This style produces regular folds, allows the panels to slide easily along the rod and gives the traditional embroidered fabric a cleaner, slightly more contemporary appearance.

Please write one of the following heading choices in the order details email:

LINING OPTIONS

UNLINED

The unlined option showcases the woven texture of the pure linen and allows natural daylight to softly illuminate the ivory embroidered design.

When unlined, these panels function as semi-sheer privacy curtains. They soften direct sunlight and provide a degree of daytime privacy while keeping the room bright, airy and welcoming.

The ivory flowers and vines become especially beautiful when gently backlit by a window. Because the unlined linen is semi-sheer, silhouettes may remain visible at night when the interior is brightly illuminated.

Choose the unlined version when natural light, visible linen texture and a relaxed decorative appearance are more important than complete nighttime privacy.

ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT-FILTERING LINER

The organic cotton light-filtering liner adds privacy, opacity, body and structure while continuing to allow softly filtered daylight into the room.

This option makes the curtain completely opaque, preventing the window and objects behind the fabric from being clearly visible through the panel.

The organic cotton liner also gives the curtains a fuller, more substantial fall and helps the embroidered linen form deeper and more defined folds.

It is an excellent option for living rooms, dining rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, guest rooms, nurseries and home offices where privacy is important but complete darkness is not required.

100% BLACKOUT LINER

The blackout option uses an OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, non-toxic polycotton liner made from 50% cotton and 50% polyester.

This liner is designed to block the light passing through the curtain fabric completely while providing maximum privacy.

The blackout option is especially suitable for:

Bedrooms

Nurseries

Children’s rooms

Guest rooms

Home theaters

Media rooms

Shift workers

Light-sensitive sleepers

For the darkest possible result, the curtains should extend sufficiently beyond the top and sides of the window. Generous width and adequate overlap will help reduce light entering around the edges of the panels.

100% Blackout

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR 100-INCH-WIDE CURTAINS

A 100-inch-wide curtain will be constructed by carefully joining two 50-inch-wide sections of embroidered linen.

Each individual 100-inch-wide curtain will therefore have one vertical joining seam in the middle.

The seam is professionally sewn and neatly finished. Once the curtain is installed, gathered and arranged into natural folds, the center seam is barely visible. The detailed ivory embroidery and textured gray linen also help the joining line blend into the finished curtain.

This construction is necessary because the embroidered decorative fabric is manufactured in a limited loom width and cannot be cut as one continuous 100-inch-wide piece.

When ordering a pair of 100-inch-wide curtains, both individual panels will be made using this joined construction.

CAFE CURTAINS

We can also make cafe curtains from this gray and ivory embroidered linen fabric.

Cafe curtains are ideal for kitchen windows, breakfast nooks, pantry windows, laundry rooms, bathroom windows, cottage windows and other smaller windows where privacy is required across the lower section while the upper portion remains open to daylight.

The neutral gray base and delicate ivory embroidery make this fabric especially attractive for farmhouse kitchens, traditional breakfast areas, English country interiors and elegant utility rooms.

For customized cafe curtains, select the next available size that is equal to or larger than your required measurements. Enter the exact finished width and length in the order details email together with the required heading style and liner preference.

MATCHING CURTAIN TIE BACKS

Matching curtain tie backs can also be made from the same embroidered linen fabric on request.

Tie backs allow the panels to be drawn elegantly to the sides during the day while displaying the detailed floral embroidery. Please mention your tie-back requirement in the order details email or contact us before ordering.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE CORRECT CURTAIN WIDTH

Measure the usable width of your curtain rod or track. Do not include decorative finials in the usable width measurement.

For a lightly gathered appearance, the combined curtain width should generally be approximately 1.5 times the usable rod or track width.

For fuller and more luxurious folds, the combined curtain width should generally be approximately twice the usable rod or track width.

Example:

For a rod measuring 50 inches wide, approximately 75 inches of combined curtain width creates lighter gathering.

Approximately 100 inches of combined curtain width creates fuller and richer folds.

When purchasing a pair, calculate the combined width of both panels.

For example:

Two curtains measuring 50 inches wide each provide a total combined curtain width of 100 inches.

The ideal fullness may vary according to the selected heading style, window dimensions, frequency of use and preferred finished appearance.

HOW TO MEASURE THE CURTAIN LENGTH

HOOKS TOP

Measure from the position where the curtain hook will hang to the required finished point.

BACK TABS

Measure from the top of the curtain rod to the required finished point.

ROD POCKET

Measure from the top of the curtain rod to the required finished point.

GROMMETS

Measure from the top of the rod to the required finished point. Remember that a small amount of fabric will remain visible above the grommets.

Possible finished positions include:

At the windowsill

Slightly below the windowsill

Just above the floor

Lightly touching the floor

Gently pooling on the floor

Measure every window carefully because curtain rods, ceilings, floors and window frames may not be perfectly level.

NATURAL LINEN AND HANDMADE CHARACTER

Each curtain is individually made to order. The exact placement of flowers, leaves and vines may vary according to the selected curtain dimensions and the portion of fabric from which each panel is cut.

Natural linen may contain subtle slubs, fine irregular yarns, occasional thicker threads and minor variations in its woven surface. These are normal characteristics of genuine linen and contribute to its organic appearance.

Small variations in finished measurements may occur because linen is a natural woven textile and every curtain is individually cut and sewn.

Colors may appear slightly different depending on daylight, artificial lighting, photography, camera settings and individual screen displays.

The fabric base is best described as medium gray, stone gray or dove gray rather than pale silver or solid black charcoal. The embroidery is soft ivory and warm off-white rather than stark optical white.
