The face fabric is OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certified pure linen and features a substantial woven texture, a warm stone-gray to greige background and oversized ivory ornamental damask medallions.

Each custom Roman blind is made to your exact requested measurements and can be finished with either an organic cotton light-filtering liner or an OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certified 100% blackout polycotton liner.

OPTION 1 — ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT-FILTERING LINER

Choose the organic cotton liner if you would like privacy while still allowing softly diffused daylight into the room.

The organic cotton lining:

• Helps create neat structured folds
• Retains a light and natural daytime atmosphere

This is an excellent option for living rooms, dining rooms, kitchens, home offices and other spaces where complete darkness is not required.

Please note that this is a LIGHT-FILTERING option and is not designed to create a blackout room.

OPTION 2 — 100% BLACKOUT OEKO-TEX POLYCOTTON LINER

Choose the blackout liner where maximum light blocking through the fabric is required.

Blackout liner composition:

The blackout polycotton fabric is OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certified and tested for harmful substances.

This liner is designed to prevent light from passing through the body of the lined Roman shade.

It is particularly suitable for:

Please remember that a 100% blackout liner blocks light THROUGH the shade fabric. Some light can still enter around the sides, top or bottom of any window treatment depending on the installation.

HOW TO MEASURE FOR AN INSIDE-RECESS ROMAN SHADE

An inside-recess or inside-mount Roman shade is installed within the window recess.

STEP 1

Measure the internal width of the window recess accurately.

Measure the exact recess width at the top. Do not make any deductions.

Measure the height of the window recess from the top of the recess to the required bottom position.

This enables us to prepare the blind appropriately and supply the correct inside-recess mounting hardware.

HOW TO MEASURE FOR AN OUTSIDE-RECESS ROMAN SHADE

An outside-recess or outside-mount Roman shade is fitted over the window opening rather than inside it.

Outside mounting can provide greater visual coverage and can help reduce light entering around the sides of a blackout shade.

STEP 1

Measure the width of the window or window frame.

STEP 2

Where wall space allows, add approximately:

2 inches / 5 cm on the LEFT

and

2 inches / 5 cm on the RIGHT.

This provides approximately:

4 inches / 10 cm additional overall width.

STEP 3

For the height, we generally recommend beginning approximately 4 inches / 10 cm above the top of the window frame where practical.

STEP 4

Measure down to the exact point where you would like the Roman shade to finish.

STEP 5

Enter the resulting FINISHED SHADE WIDTH x HEIGHT in the order details email.
