HOW TO MEASURE FOR INSIDE RECESS INSTALLATION
Inside recess installation means the Roman shade fits inside the window frame or window opening.

Step 1: Measure the inside width of your window recess at the top, middle, and bottom.
Step 2: Use the smallest width measurement as your final recess width.
Step 3: Measure the inside height/drop of your window recess from top to bottom at the left, center, and right.
Step 4: Use the smallest height measurement as your final recess height.
Step 5: Select the size range that covers your measurement and enter the exact width and height in the order details email.
Step 6: Mention “inside recess” clearly in the order details email so the correct fitting clamps can be sent.

HOW TO MEASURE FOR OUTSIDE RECESS INSTALLATION
Outside recess installation means the Roman shade is fitted on the wall or frame outside the window opening.

Step 1: Measure the full area you want the Roman shade to cover.
Step 2: For better light coverage and privacy, we recommend adding extra width on both sides of the window opening where possible.
Step 3: Measure from the top point where you want the shade to start down to where you want it to finish.
Step 4: Select the size range that covers your measurement and enter the exact finished width and height in the order details email.
Step 5: Mention “outside recess” clearly in the order details email so the correct fitting clamps can be sent.
