ROMAN SHADE STYLE

This is a corded Roman shade / Roman blind. When raised, the fabric folds neatly into soft horizontal layers. When lowered, it displays the grey and ivory jacquard pattern beautifully across the window.

This design works especially well if you want something more decorative than a plain Roman shade, but still calm, neutral and easy to style.

1. Light Filtering Organic Cotton Liner

A soft organic cotton liner that adds privacy while still allowing natural daylight to gently filter through. This option is ideal for living rooms, dining rooms, kitchens, nurseries, home offices and spaces where you want brightness with added privacy.

2. 100% Blackout OEKO-TEX Certified Polycotton Liner

A non-toxic OEKO-TEX certified blackout liner made from 50% cotton and 50% polyester. This option blocks light completely through the fabric and is ideal for bedrooms, nurseries, kids’ rooms, media rooms and any space where room darkening or full blackout is preferred.

Please note: blackout performance depends on the fabric and liner itself. Small light gaps may still appear around the edges depending on how the shade is mounted and how the window is constructed.

MEASURING FOR INSIDE RECESS MOUNT

Choose inside recess if you want the Roman shade to sit inside the window frame.

Step 1: Measure the inside width of your window recess at the top, middle and bottom.

Step 2: Use the smallest width measurement.

Step 3: Measure the inside height/drop from the top of the recess to the sill.

Step 4: Enter the exact inside recess measurements in the order details email. We will make the necessary small adjustment for a proper fit.

Inside recess gives a clean, fitted look and helps keep the hardware more discreet.

MEASURING FOR OUTSIDE RECESS MOUNT

Choose outside recess if you want the Roman shade to sit outside and cover the window frame.

Step 1: Measure the full area you want the shade to cover.

Step 2: For better coverage and reduced side light gaps, we recommend adding extra width beyond the window opening where possible.

Step 3: Measure from the point where you want the shade to start down to where you want it to end.

Step 4: Enter the final exact shade size required in the order details email.

Outside recess is a good option if your window recess is shallow, uneven, or if you want the blind to cover the frame.

IMPORTANT NOTES

This is a corded Roman blind, not cordless.

Each shade is custom made to order.

Slight colour variation may occur due to screen settings, lighting and fabric batch differences.

The grey fabric may appear slightly warmer or cooler depending on natural daylight, artificial lighting and surrounding wall colours.

For wider shades, fabric joins may be required depending on the final width and fabric roll width. Any seam will be made as neatly and discreetly as possible.
